Look, from now on, I'll just assume Joey tends to go completely feral on everything he does at some point... (At least, this makes a lot of sense now... He's probably not used to cooking, just... grabbing some meat from the fridge and eating it raw or something...)

Also, giggling at the thought of people walking by with their dogs , and wanting to call the police because someone is randomly getting the crap beaten out of them on a wood's trail...

Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword

I feel like the main downside to this card is that it's not as funny as either Time Magic Hammer or Rocket Hermos Cannon. It definitely gains a lot of points for actually resembling the iconic monster used to create it (for once), but I like the silliness of the other two much more. That said: this is still a pretty damn cool sword. Who wouldn't want a dragon themed sword, especially a Red-Eyes one? While the sword itself is cool, I do wish it stood out more from the background like the two Hermos fusions I've reviewed previously. The major colors used for the sword itself and the background are the same (black and gray), with only a little bit of green and orange present for effect. A red background would probably pop much better, while still being fitting for Red-Eyes, of course.

Mokuba as Maria but if Maria came back as a feral vengeance ghost (which would be amazing). Unfortunately Kaiba still refuses to believe in magic or ghosts so Mokuba has to relay everything through Mai and Noah like an annoying game of telephone.

Noah as Omega (he projects himself as a hologram because his robot form isn’t expressive enough for his tastes). Also bonus unobscured robot form because I spent a lot of time on it.

Mai as Rouge (I mean. of course.)

Jonouchi/Joey as Vector because he’s broke and also if Vector was part of Team Sonic and best friends with Tails, which would be weird.

Honda/Tristan is Espio? I guess??? I mean he did sneak around Pegasus’s castle that one time

Rebecca is Charmy if Charmy was the smartest person on the team

Pegasus as Eggman (he’s already got the red suit and the theatrics, c’mon)

Anzu/Téa as Amy (we all know it)

Shadi as Tikal but if Tikal was extremely unhelpful, done with everything, and frankly kind of a jerk

Bakura as Silver (it’s the hair)

Yami Bakura as Mephiles, since they’re both manipulative, cunning villains who mostly sit around twiddling their thumbs until the very end of the story. Supposedly they had some sort of grand plan but it didn’t make a lot of sense and I’m pretty sure they were really just making things up as they went along)

The Doma/Orichalchos gang as the Babylon Rogues. Do not ask me who is who I do not know. Instead of stealing souls they just steal regular stuff, like Millennium Items and younger brothers. Dartz is supposedly their boss but he doesn’t have any real plans so mostly they do whatever.

Duke/Otogi and Blankey the dog as Mighty and Ray. Again, don’t ask which is which, just know that they occasionally pop in to help out Team Chaotix Jonouchi. Blankey is the most powerful character and that is why she can’t be on the team 24/7. I love Blankey.

Other characters. There are so many characters in Yu-Gi-Oh!. And in Sonic. Wow.

If I were to want to get into metroid where's the best place to start? I have access to the nes/snes/gbc games that are on the Nintendo online thing, but are those the best place to begin?

posting this publicly just for my sweet beloved followers to also get metroidpilled. best bet is to play by order of each sort of section rather than release date since there’s been updates to some.

main series that has a connecting storyline (these get numbers, ie dread is metroid 5):

metroid zero mission (remake of og metroid, you have no reason to play og metroid) -> metroid samus returns (remake of metroid 2, you ESPECIALLY have no reason to play og metroid 2) -> super metroid -> metroid fusion -> metroid dread

everything but samus returns is available on switch

otherm is before fusion on the timeline so you could play it then. you could also choose Not to play this one cuz most people do not fucking like it (i think it’s like a 4/10)

prime series that all takes place between metroid 1 and 2 for reasons you’ll understand when you play them lol:

metroid prime remastered -> metroid prime 2 -> metroid prime hunters (get a friend for this, it’s honestly optional but it’s cute) -> metroid prime 3 (you could play the whole prime trilogy on gc/wii/wii u, but remastered prime1 is pretty good, so up to you) -> metroid prime federation force (yeah this is important for prime 4 lol. i havent played this yet bc i can’t convince any friends to play it with me)

As for non-game stuff I recommend:

Metroid (essentially the samus backstory manga, you could read this after playing zero mission)

Metroid Episode Aether (prime 2 manga)

Samus & Joey 1, 2, 3, 4 (good original story manga, not connected to the games at all)

these games are not very long you could feasibly finish all of them within like a summer break month. good luck

Making an helmet-less Wels was incredibly cursed, had to combine Jimmy's and Grian's hair to make this.

Yeah, empires two has the curse thing that split the kingdom in two. Empires 2 Wels is kind of a fusion of Helsknight and Welsknight more then just Wels.

Of course I put the one that always builds castles in the role of the one that also always builds castles./j

Still really into knights but less in the "he's an actual knight" way and more in the "used to want to be a knight as a kid and never grew out of that phase" way.

I was thinking of a name to give Zed x Wels for this and tried genderbending Nature Wives and almost ended calling it Flower husbands. Settled on Woodland fiances.

Katherine (Rendog's role)

Rose tinted glasses...but purple. Liliac tinted glasses? Is that a thing.

Katherine being in Rendog's role is entirely because I tought it would be funny with the whole cat and dog thing.

Also, more women in the life series, that is desperately needed.

Red Spring!Katherine gives me Thorn vibes, like The Thorn from Slay The Princess. Not necessarily aesthetically but more of a same-vibe thing.

Imagine her sci-fi visor has text on it, like saying what she feels (Happy, Sad, Angry...) ... Or what she wants you to think she is feeling.

Definitely one of the oldest members of Hermitcraft, been there ever since season 2.

Has only met this world's Martyn once, you'll understand when you eventually see Martyn, it still left a lasting impression... I don't think that a simple roleswap would make them any less weird about eachother.

Yes, I made the Lost Empire prismarine inspired, but I don't think anything else would have fit him.

The orange and teal thing is a lot more obvious now, at the same time it feels right to me.

Pirate Xb had that weird thing going on with Wels... You know, the Pirate Joey/Katherine thing aka the weirdest part of empires lore.

As already stated in previous parts Pungence takes the place of Xonorth (Cause Bdubs takes Scott's). Therefore Xb x Pungence is also canon, that's one crackship for sure.

Behold, my Swap AU Audrey!

She looks more like a fusion of Audrey and Ink Bendy, but I couldn't care less.

This actually stems from a question I've had; if Audrey were a toon, who would she be? Alice Angel, or a gender-bent Bendy? For Siblink purposes.

I finally went with gender-bent Bendy and am currently working out how she'd work cartoon-wise.

So far, I'm thinking she'd be a kind of "special appearance" character, only showing up on special occasions or for plot reasons.

Or for selling more merch.

But I also thought about her possibly being a reoccurring character in the comics, specifically with the SSSB; Cameraman, Brute, and Miss Twisty. Either she somehow ends up joining them as a girlfail clutz, or they're the Butcher Gang to her Bendy.

She's Bendy's little sister, created for the soul purpose of appeasing the feminine masses, and making a future offshoot series with her own group.

Also because Joey wanted more money, as he thought she'd be easier to relate to and more likable than Alice for girls watching the show, thus better merch sales.

And it works.

While not as much of a menace to society or trouble magnet, she's as popular as Bendy himself, especially to girls with annoying brothers. To say Susie was absolutely furious about it would be an understatement.

Ngl, I could probably write a book that could rival one holding the entirety of the FNaF lore about this. I've lovingly crafted Audrey the Darling Demon and her entire backstory as we speak, and completely ignored my Swap AU. Oops.

Anyways, Joey's attempts at Audrey fail, he tosses her into the machine like a dirty sock, he tries to reformat the Ink Demon as a last desperate attempt + it works in his favor of fixing two problems, it somehow works because yada yada yada plot reasons, etcetera.

I'm not sure wether to have everyone swapped, or just Audrey and the Ink Demon. Probably just them, bc my mush brain can only handle so much.

I say that as I have multiple swapped characters thought out already-

Time Magic Hammer

While not quite as funny as Rocket Hermos Cannon is appearance wise, this thing being the very first Hermos fusion ever is funny in and of itself. Not funny in a "I infected this cool dragon" way, but in more of a "there is no way a dragon was involved in this fusion” way. The Time Wizard elements are self evident (he even gets a little silhouette cameo in the background!), this being a hammer that warps other monsters into the future, but as for Hermos' influence????? Nonexistent. Not that this hammer needs it, because it’s super cute and sleek regardless. I really love the addition of the little floating wings; they help this card seem like more than just a hammer. While the background is a little busy, the green swirls are a direct reference to Time Wizard’s own background, with deformed clocks added in there to help emphasize this card’s time magic abilities.

Rating: 10/10, Weaponized Time Wizard

Random little Yugioh idea/headcanon I’ve been mulling over lately:

Post-DM/DSOD, Joey becomes a Pro-Duelist as he alludes to during the movie. However, Joey doesn’t actually play Red Eyes Black Dragon anymore in his pro-career, instead, playing a full warrior-focused deck.

Specifically, one based around Flame Swordsman and using all those very nifty new cards for it that came out IRL recently.

Really, I think this only makes sense. Despite Red Eyes being his iconic ‘ace’ monster, Joey’s ‘bread and butter’ has always been warriors, and Flame Swordsman is still basically his Spirit Monster. So I think it’s pretty cool to imagine Joey ‘returning to his roots’ with a warrior deck focused around his favorite monster.

So what happens to Red Eyes Black Dragon if Joey isn’t playing them anymore?

Well, while the obvious option might be that Joey ends up passing Red Eyes to a young and starry eyed fan by the name of Atticus Rhodes in setup for GX, I’ve got a more fun idea:

In this hypothetical sequel fic/series idea, it’s at first a bit of a mystery as to what happened to Joey’s Red Eyes, as in we see Joey playing a few duels all conspicuously NOT using his once-iconic dragon.

Only to get a surprise reveal where all of a sudden, Serenity breaks out Red Eyes Black Dragon in a duel. And not just Red Eyes, but also a pure Red Eyes-focused deck with all the requisite support and the advanced fusion versions like Red Eyes Slash Dragon and Archfiend Black Skull Dragon.

It turns out that Serenity wanted to get into dueling around the same time Joey was getting ready to go pro, and after teaching her everything he knows, Joey passed Red Eyes on to her. Both as a gift, and because Joey saw it as giving Serenity his most powerful and trusted monster/companion to watch over her.

Like when magic chicanery starts happening, it turns out that Red Eyes the monster spirit is absolutely watching over Serenity and keeping her safe.

Also, I’d say there’s even something of a precedent for this. The only time in the show that Serenity duels, during the Virtual World arc, she used Goddess with the Third Eye as her deckmaster, which of course had a fusion effect. So Serenity playing a fusion-focused deck would certainly be thematically appropriate.

So yeah, Serenity with Red Eyes Black Dragon. I think it would be pretty awesome :)

Actually come to think of it, this would fit perfectly into the Tea/DMG-focused ‘Successor of Dark Magic’ storyline I’ve been workshopping for years now…

1st place: aaahhhhh it's just gotta be the Super (etc.) version!! so tanky and solid and well-balanced, but still has a kind of. friendly/soft silhouette?? idk how to say it but you know what i mean. This one literally does look impenetrable and s&j definitely bumped it up higher for me too ^.^ my only gripe is theeeee weird pelvis area? YES i understand her thingy is massive but it breaks the flow of the suit to me + looks awkward. other than that ougghhhhh yes very nice. LOVE those boots

2nd place: The MP1-3 + hunters versions are my beloveds as well but I've never gotten over how top-heavy they tend to look...i mean like. the huge shoulders and chestplate with super long/lanky legs never looked super well-balanced to me. no wonder her stance is so WIDE in those games. it is charming in its dorkiness to me though ^.^ and i love just how Tall she looks

3rd place: I do enjoy seeing the SR one, it’s such a tank. idk it's just not iconic enough to be my fave though lol

4th place: zero mission/brawl. this one doesn't stand out to me in any way really but it's good. yay

4th place: Dread flashbacks.....i gotta say one of the Only art design-related things I didn’t like in this game were the suits in those flashback scenes. the varia was ok, not my fave but I did NOT like the shape of that fusion suit lawlllll ToT

5th place: i would not be the least bit sad if I never saw OM's varia in marketing/smash ever again. die perhaps
