The amount of posts/fanart/memes I've already seen surrounding Cooper and Hancock only proves to me that Hancock NEEDS to make a cameo in a later season. Somehow. I need them to get in a knife fight. I need them to get up in each other's faces and kiss intimidate each other.
Cooper's look was originally supposed to have black eyes and have scars identical to the Fallout 4 design, but the idea was ultimately scrapped. Boy oh boy, who else has black eyes and- HANCOCK. Hancock does. HE looks like that. This was clearly a sign from the universe.

The Holmes Family Tree
Tumblr media
At the top are the parents. Sherlock's father; Sieger, Sherlock's Mother, Violet Rutherford; and Sherlock's Stepmother Eudoria
First lets start with Violet and Sieger's children:
Sherlock, Sherringford, Mycroft, Shirley, and Rutherford
Then there are Eudoria and Sieger's Children:
Enola, Sigrina, and Siegerson.
Let's start with the branch that descends directly from Sherlock.
Tumblr media
I have placed Sherlock's Children as five in Number. Raffles is the son of Majorie Raffles (the sister of A.J Raffles). Henry Holmes and his wife Elizabeth are the creations of the Charlotte Holmes series.
Keep Sherlock Holmes Jr in mind as we'll focus on him later. We'll go down Henry and Elizabeth's line.
Tumblr media
Pascal, Valentina, Agatha, Perpetua and Johnathan Holmes are the children of Elizabeth and Henry
Tumblr media
Crispin and Morland are Pascal and Elizabeth's sons. Crispin marries Celine, and Morland marries May. Keep Morland in mind.
Tumblr media
Crispin and Elizabeth have the following children: Alistair, Agatha, Julian, Leander.
Morland is a complicated old bastard with two sons: Sherlock and Mycroft. Note that i've written Elementary beneath them.
Alistair and Emma have: Milo and Charlotte
Julian and Kim Min-Ji: Margarate Holmes, Carmilla Holmes, and Sherlock Holmes (Sherlock & Co.)
Now let's move to the side along the chart and go back to one of Sherlock's children.
Tumblr media
Sherlock Jr is a problem, I've decided. He is the start of a parallel branch. He had some unknown son. then that son would in time go on to sire the lineage that produced the following
Euris, Mycroft, and Sherlock (BBC's Sherlock). Euris would then later bear a child with a descendent of Moriarty. Resulting in Ron Kamonohashi.
Tumblr media
Mycroft has a smaller branch. Three children:
Andrew Holmes, Violet Holmes, and Isabella Holmes.
Violet Holmes would then have a child later with James Bond, resulting in Clive Reston.
Tumblr media
Shirly Holmes would marry Charles Jones. Resulting in the birth of Fetlock Jones and Laura Jones.
Laura Jones and her husband Lord Hamish Croft establish the lineage that would come to result in Laura Croft.
Fetlock's is Jupiter, and his daughter Charlotte marries Peerless Jones.
Tumblr media
The following children of Peerless and Charlotte are: Barnaby, Darwin, and David.
David Marries Judith Walton and has three children: Fred Jones Sr, Martin "Merlin" Jones, and Ellie. Fred Jones Sr later illegally adopts a son, naming him "Fred Jones Jr".
Barnaby has a son named Harold and a grandson named Jebediah Romano Jones.
Tumblr media
Sherringford Holmes, the older brother of both Mycroft and Sherlock, would have three children. Richard, an unknown country squire, and Sebastian.
Richard would change his surname to Queen in the United States to establish himself as an independent detective. He has two sons, Dan and Ellery Queen.
Ellery has two sons: Ellery Junior and Gullivar.
The Squire has one son: Stuart. Stuart has two kids, Jenny and David.
Sebastian marries a woman named Peg: Through them they have a son named Robert who becomes an ambassador for the United Kingdom.
Robert and his wife Joanna then later have a daughter named Shirley Holmes (many of her name).
Tumblr media
Rutherford is Sherlock's twin brother and a vampire (making him a genetic dead end).
Sigerson Holmes (son of Eudoria) marries Jenny Hill, a descendent of Fanny Hill. Their daughter then marries a Weston and have a son named Geoffrey Weston.
I wasn't sure how to fit Enola Holme because, as far as I know,w she doesn't go on to have anyone I can identify as being a possible descendent. (good for her.)
Tumblr media
Lastly, Charlotte Holmes. I also believe that Charlotte was having an affair with Mary Watson, but that is neither here nor there. She marries some fuck-off prince named Rupert of Kravonia and they have a son: Alexander (i accidentally named him Rupert as well in the image).
Sirgrina and John Vanstattart Smith have three Children:
Dennis Nayland Smith, Violet Smith, and John Smith.
Dennis Nayland fathers: George, Harold, and John "Hannibal" Smith.
Violet marries a man named Sneed and has a son named Lancaster "Shockwave" Sneed. A supervillain from Marvel Comics who used to beat the fuck out of Shang-Chi.
Thus concludes the family tree of The Holmes. Please reblog or message me if you have questions or comments.

Anthony Hogan's paragraph descriptions of John Byrne (Johnny Guitar), Ringo Starr, Charles O'Brien (Ty O'Brien), and Walter Eymond (Lu Walters) from the book FROM A STORM TO A HURRICANE (2016)
" John [Byrne] was born on 4 December 1939 in Liverpool to Michael Patrick Byrne, a Seaman, born 22 October 1908, and Elsie Ford, who had married in the city in 1932. Elsie was born 10 July 1905 in Liverpool, with her early years being spent at No. 2 Belfast Road in Old Swan. Here she lived with her one sister and four brothers, her mother Eliza (nee Cowan) and her father Henry, who worked as a coal dealer. Her parents had married in 1898 and moved to the Old Swan area from Everton. By 1933 Michael and Elsie were living in London, where they had their first two children, Patrick and Norma. The family returned to Liverpool when Michael's work was moved there. After their return, John and Paul were born. John was a pupil at St Oswald's school in Old Swan and a part of the church of the same name. Like Alan, John had taken dance lessons at Martin's school on Derby lane. They had both attended the boys' club there as well. Just before his teen years John was struck down with rheumatic fever. He pulled through and spent six months in a Southport hospital convalescing. "
" Charles was born Charles William O'Brien in Liverpool on 15 February 1941, to Charles William O'Brien, born 1906 in Liverpool, and Marie Brierly, born 2 October 1904 in Liverpool. The couple married in 1927 at St Michael and Sacred Heart church on West Derby Road, Liverpool. The family lived at No. 49 Pemberton Road, Old Swan, with Charles Sr working as a seaman for the Canadian Pacific Line. Charles had an older sister named Marie who had been born in 1928. (..) Young Charles became a very talented amateur boxer, training at the Derby Lane gym, as well as a very good guitar player. He had been a pupil at St Oswald's school, and attended the church there. Charles, or Chas as he was often called, had known John Lennon and The Quarrymen in their early days. He was also another member of the band who had attended Martin's dance school on Derby Lane in Old Swan, where he proved to be a rather decent dancer. "
" Richard [Starkey] had been born on 7 July 1940, at No. 9 Madryn Street in the Dingle area of Liverpool, to Richard Starkey and Elsie Gleave, who had married in 1936. The couple had spent time dancing together on the ballroom circuit, but the birth of Richard drove them apart. Richard Snr showed little interest towards his son, preferring to spend his time drinking in local pubs. Elsie raised Richard and doted after him. In 1944 they moved the short distance to No. 10 Admiral Grove, the move being done by loading their possessions onto a handcart. Within a year Richard Shr had left and a divorce had been completed; his son barely saw him again. Richard, known as Ritchie, was very ill as a child, developing appendicitis aged six that led to a stay in the Myrtle Street children's hospital. He was a pupil at St Silas primary school and Dingle Vale secondary school, where he was a classmate of Billy Fury. In 1953 he contracted tuberculosis and was admitted to the children's hospital at Heswell on the Wirral. "
" Walter Eymond was born Walter Lewis Eymond on 6 August 1938 off Cazneau Street in Liverpool. His parents, who had married in Liverpool in 1934, were Henry Lewis Eymond, born 1906, and Mary Melia. Henry was the son of Lewis Felix Eymond and Georgina Esther Carruthers (Walter's grandparents) who in 1911 were living at No. 13 Buckingham Road in Walton, Liverpool, with Lewis working as a ship's pattern-maker. Walter's great-grandfather, Jean-Marie Henri Eymond, had brought his family over to England from the Bordeaux region of France. In 1875 he was living in the Dingle area of Liverpool and working as a master mariner. Walter also had a sister named Jean who had been born in 1935. During the Second World War Walter's home was bombed, resulting in the family being rehoused at No. 11 Ulster Road in Old Swan for the remainder of the war. Walter's father Henry worked as an electrical engineer and would often take his family with him when he worked in such places as London, Newcastle and Dudley in Birmingham. "

Heath expliquait:
‘’There’s a kind of divine intervention that helps.  Alan Dawson always said that it was 90% rudiments and 10% divine intervention! That was his philosophy, and it makes a lot of sense.  That divine intervention is what I always relied on, and how I was able to create a unique conglomerate of everything, rudiments included.  Whenever I sit down to play, I’m quiet for a couple of seconds.  Then I ask permission from the ancestors to allow me to do these things that have already been done.’’
Commentant le concert, Heath avait déclaré: ‘’That was a hard gig.  This is what I felt about Sonny Rollins: that he could play anything I played back at me, twice as fast and twice as good.  During the first chorus I would play the hippest stuff I knew, but then Sonny would make mincemeat of that and keep going.  What a musician.  What a career.’’
Heath expliquait:
‘’I called Jimmy once for a gig uptown at a place called Mikell’s.  This was after Coltrane died, and I thought he might want to make the hit.  I said, “Damn, James, can we do a gig together?” He said, “I’d love to make it, Tootie, but after playing with Coltrane for so long, I don’t know any songs! After seven years of vamps, I forgot all the tunes!” I thought that was some funny shit.  Of course, the way Elvin played so loud and rumbled through everything, you couldn’t hear those vamps anyway !’’
Il expliquait: ‘’Now that was fabulous, man.  Every time I see Ron we immediately start telling each other the Bobby Timmons stories.’’ Heath poursuivait:
‘’Bobby was struggling with his addiction.  It was the height of his popularity as a composer of “Dis Here” and “Dat Dere.” He was getting a lot of attention.  So Orrin Keepnews arranged a tour for us with Riverside Records backing it. Bobby was trying his best to straighten his life out and get rid of his addiction.  So he lied to me and Ron.  He was a chronic liar, which had something to do with his addiction.  We told him, “Man, we don’t want to go to San Francisco if you are strung out and sick and can’t play and all that.” “Oh no, I’m cool! I went to the doctor and got this bottle of dolophine pills.” Heroin addiction is very painful: your hands ache and everything, and dolophine was supposed to suppress the pain. So we get on the plane, and we are all happy.  Bobby’s going to get clean, we’ve got a great band, the press is waiting, the records are selling: great! We even had little uniforms.  In these green jackets me and Ron – both young and handsome – we were sharp!’’
Heath poursuivait:  ‘’I don’t know if Jason was a supplier or an addict, but we had an adjoining room.  We thought we had gotten Bobby safely into bed but this Jason shows up.  Bobby obviously couldn’t use anything, since he was already poisoned with everything, so I don’t know exactly what was going on.’’ De plus en plus impatient, le propriétaire du club avait déclaré à Heath et Carter: “You and Ron have to do something, I don’t want to give any money back.” Heath poursuivait: ‘’We didn’t go nuts, we played the tunes.  We both soloed a lot, of course.  I played everything I knew on the first song, really.  My shit was over even then.’’
Heath expliquait: ‘’the next thing I know Bobby comes out with blood all down the front of his green uniform.  The owner had punched him in the nose and fucked him up.  Bobby told me and Ron, “Pack that shit up.  We are out of here.”
Il poursuivait: ‘’I remember when Bobby was dying at Saint Vincent’s right across from the Vanguard.  I went in to see him.  He was all tubed up and shit.
“Hey, Toots, what’s happening? Yeah, I’m getting out on the weekend.”
I went outside the room and the doctor said, “Can I speak to you a minute? Are you a close friend?”
“Yeah! Bobby Timmons and I grew up together, he was around the corner from me and then we went to school together.  I’ve been knowing him my whole life.”
He said, “He’s not getting out on the weekend, and if he is getting out on the weekend, it’s going to be in a box, because his liver is like a sieve.”
‘’We were in there about eight years! I did about eleven years with him: after Kenny {Barron} left, Danny Mixon played piano, and there was an electric bassist named Steve Neil that took Bob’s place. There’s about three Lateef records that I’m on.  Yusef was always searching and trying to do different things.  We used to have one-act plays in the club! We’d be running all around, and the audience would say, “What the hell is this?” Yusef is a very interesting man. He’s in his 80s now but hasn’t stopped yet.’’
"That's a real strange instrumentation. I mean, most people need the bass, and a lot of people like a piano in there or some melodic chordal instrument — and we didn't have any of that. But the place across the street from where I lived, some adult people were good enough to let us come in there and play in it. It must have been awful. And one guy came up and gave us 75 cents as a tip. He was drunk, of course, and he walked away — 'Oh, you kids are great.' And I realized: That's a quarter apiece. Hey man, we can get paid doing this!"

Smokey brand Movie Reviews: Wise Choices
After being bored by Raiders of the Lost Ark, absolutely loathing The Temple of Doom, i finally found my way to the last of the original trilogy; Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. This one i actually remember seeing. I don't remember much, but i do remember the end. I always though it was hilarious. But, again, it's probably been two decades since I've actually seen this film. Since i was already on a roll, why not partake in the book end of the original Indiana Jones trilogy?
The Great
Sean Connery was perfectly cast in the role of Indiana’s father, Henry Walton Jones, Sr. Connery, as ridiculous and problematic of a man in real life, has always been an obscenely excellent actor. He has this presence and charisma that saturated, often overpowering, every role he takes. That smoldering prestige is on full display in Crusade, threatening to overtake even Ford. Fortunately, Harrison is up to the challenge and their scenes together make for absolutely brilliant cinema.
Speaking of Ford, this third outing as Indiana sees him having perfected the role. A lot of who we believe Indy to be, first coalesced here, in Crusade. I love his chaotic, almost slapstick, energy as he punches Nazis and solved centuries old riddles. This character is always at his best when there is a strong second to play off and having hi pops around give Indy fertile ground to work.
I though the chemistry between Ford and Connery was fantastic. Connery was, by this time, a seasoned veteran, often improvising lines. Ford, no slouch himself, was able to key in on that energy and turn in some of the best inter-character banter i have ever seen. I actually believe that these two people could be father and son, that’s how organic their performances are in this flick.
The Good
Once again, John Williams shows up with the heat. This score isn’t as grand as the one in Raiders, but it didn’t need to be. Don’t misunderstand, it’s excellent and fits the film perfectly, but it definitely takes a backseat to the acting this time. Connery and Jones are on full display and Williams just accentuates that skill.
The tone of this film feels like a proper Indiana Jones adventure. Coming of Temple, i was afraid Spielberg and Lucas lost sight of what made the character special but Crusade proved my worries were unnecessary. Third times a charm and what charm this film film has.
While on the subject of Spielberg, he turns in another great directorial effort.  I imagine having such pros on deck as Ford and Connery made his job a lot easier, most Connery. Dude brings out the best of any production. Still, great effort behind the camera here.
The story this time around is fantastic. It feels something worthy of the character, rather than whatever the f*ck Temple was supposed to be. Crusade is exactly that; A grand crusade of global scale. I missed this Indiana. Even though i don;t care for the franchise, i always respected the sheer scale of the narratives and this is one of the best. Lucas really turned out something special.
The supporting cast is pretty okay, There isn’t much to mention about those particular performances, though. I mean, i loved seeing Rhys-Davies as Sallah once again and River Phoenix as Young Indy was a surprise but i found myself rather enamored with the Fraulein Elsa Schneider. Coming off Willie, any chick with any semblance of agency would have been a godsend but Alison Doody actually does a great job with her part. The supporting performances were all great, i must say. Casting was nailed perfectly this time around.
Once again, the cinematography is on point. It was in Temple but i was too distracted by the terrible f*cking character writing to notice. Not here. This flick is stunning. I mean, a lot of it takes place in the middle of a f*cking desert, again, but we get to see such a different face of it all. This film was my first introduction to the city of Petra. I remember being awestruck by it’s majesty. That is the feeling an Indian Jones film should illicit.
The action is very good this time out as well. It doesn’t feel like one long ass chase scene, and it doesn’t feel forced or methodical. They found a good pace for the film this time and it really makes for a decent watch. I was never really on the edge of my seat but i was never bored either.
The Verdict
I actually really like this movie. Color me surprised. For me, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is the best film out of the series. It’s not my favorite, Crystal Skull is, but it’s the best version we’ve ever gotten of these characters. It’s not a classing on the same scale as the first Indy outing, but it’s a nice cap to the trilogy and easily redeems it’s preceding affront. The pacing is brisk, the story refined, and it’s shot beautifully. The two leads performances are incredibly strong but it’s the palpable chemistry between Connery and Ford which gives this movie it’s edge. If you’re a fan of movies, definitely check this one out It’s well worth your time.

Ralph Waite (1928–2014) Physique: Average Build Height: 6' (1.83 m)
Ralph Harold Waite Jr. was an American actor and political activist, best known for his role as John Walton, Sr. on The Waltons, which he occasionally directed. He also had recurring roles in NCIS as Jackson Gibbs, the father of Leroy Jethro Gibbs, and Bones, as Seeley Booth's grandfather. Waite had supporting roles in movies like Cool Hand Luke, Five Easy Pieces, The Grissom Gang, The Bodyguard and Cliffhanger. On February 13, 2014, Waite died in Palm Desert, California, of age-related illnesses at age 85.
Ralph Waite was one of my earliest crushes after seeing one of those Walton tv movies. I wonder if Will Geer ever got any on-set cock. What? You can't tell Will Geer didn't a least give him a look. I know I’d be eye fucking him all the time.

COOKING HER GOOSE
1929
Tumblr media
Cooking Her Goose is a comedy by H.H. Van Loan and Lolita Ann Westman. The play had its world premiere at the Alcazar Theatre in San Francisco, California.
The title was suggest by its intended leading lady, whose sister co-wrote the play (over eight months) expressly for her. It was so named because the heroine’s decisions basically cook her own goose. Using that logic, the title might very well have been Makes Her Bed!
Tumblr media
When the Hollywood Playhouse was booked, Duffy took the play to the Alcazar where it had its world premiere on August 4, 1929.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cooking Her Goose tells the story of Nancy Gray, daughter of a wealthy and prominent family who decides an elopement will give her a thrill. So she runs off to Atlantic City with Dick Mercer Jr., a youth she has known all her life. However, she finds she has changed her mind and while her husband-to-be is getting a license, she runs away for a second time turning up at the home of a wealthy bachelor to apply for a position as a cook. Owing to the prominence of the two families, the elopement becomes a front-page story and Nancy finds herself involved In any number of humorous complications. The shooting of a thief In the apartment In Atlantic City adds to the general excitement and Nancy extricates herself from one predicament only to find that she has plunged into another.
SAUCE FOR THE GOOSE...
Tumblr media
The play was produced by Henry Duffy and starred Nydia Westman, a Broadway star, up-and-coming movie actress, and (not coincidentally) sister of one of the authors.
MOTHER GOOSE...
Tumblr media
Nydia had experience with farm animals like geese, having been seen on Broadway in John Golden’s Pigs. Her playwright sister was also an actress, having appeared on Broadway in 1922 with their brother, Theodore, who also was a writer. Needless to say, the Westman family was ‘born in a trunk’ to theatrical parents.
SAUCE FOR THE GANDER...
Tumblr media
Also in the cast was Jason Robards (Sr), who was dabbling in both stage and screen, but couldn’t decide which better suited him.
Tumblr media
In 1933, Robards and Westman both had small roles in the Maurice Chevalier film The Way To Love.
Tumblr media
Most theatre fans known the story of how Cynthia Nixon appeared in two Broadway shows at the same time, The Real Thing and Hurlyburly, in 1984, but Ben Taggart did it first in 1929.
Tumblr media
Actress Helen Kleeb played maid Mary Muldoon. Like Westman, Kleeb became one of television’s most popular character actors, best remembered for playing Mamie Baldwin on “The Waltons”. In 1969, Kleeb and Westman were re-united on an episode of “Mr. Deeds Goes To Town”.
Tumblr media
After a successful run at the Alcazar, Duffy moved the production to his Dufwin Theatre (named for its owners Duffy and Dale Winter) in Oakland, California starting September 13, 1929. The authors took the opportunity to make some changes to the script. Westman was joined by a new cast featuring Leo Llndhard, Irving Mitchell, Joseph de Stefanl, Dorothy Lammar, and Thomas Chatterton.
WILD GOOSE CHASE...
Tumblr media
During the course of the play, the characters actually eat goose drumsticks. In Oakland, the property man told leading lady Westman that there were no geese to be found anywhere. She bet him that she could find a goose. After coming up goose-less, she happened on a poultry farm and decided to steal a goose and collect on the bet. She was discovered by a police officer and agreed to pay for the goose - and got him to pose for a photo!
Tumblr media
Coincidentally, in the alphabetical theatre listings of the Oakland Tribune, Cooking Her Goose was listed next to the comedy film The Cohens and Kellys in Atlantic City. The film was based on the 1921 play Two Blocks Away.
Tumblr media
In October, Duffy finally moved the play to his Hollywood Playhouse, which was planned from the start.
Tumblr media
Helen Kleeb rejoined the cast in Hollywood, still headlined by Westman. The play was always billed as a “jazz age comedy” that invoked “chuckles, laughs, and yells”.
CARVING THE GOOSE...
Tumblr media
Also planned from the start (at least after the play was ruled a success) was to head East and play New York - hopefully Broadway. But fate and filmdom had other plans. The Hollywood engagement ended a week early and the play headed to Seattle, where Duffy also had a theatre.
GOOSE BUMPS...
Tumblr media
On November 18th, it was reported that the Goose would make a stop on its migration to Broadway, setting up a nest in the Windy City. Instead of Seattle, Sacramento saw the first production of the play without Westman. Actor Roy Hiram Clair as the Detective was now above the title.
CHRISTMAS GOOSE...
National City, California’s Savoy Theatre hosted the next production staring in Mid-December 1929.
Tumblr media
Just before New Year 1930, the Goose was cooked for good. But that wasn’t the end of the story.  The February 1, 1930 it was announced that Cooking Her Goose would be Mary Astor’s next picture, and Astor’s first film for RKO. Astor would re-team with her silent film beau Lloyd Hughes in their first talkie together.
CRISPY GOOSE...
Tumblr media
RKO handed the film over to director Donald Crisp. His only sound film, it would be the last of his directing projects for the actor / director, who later won an Oscar for acting in How Green Was My Valley (1941). The play was adapted for the screen by Jane Murfin and was released under the title of The Runaway Bride (aka Run Away Bride aka Runaway Bride aka Run-Away Bride) in May 1930. It is not related to the 1999 film Runaway Bride starring Julia Roberts. Like the play, the action took place in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Like the play, filming never left California.
Tumblr media
On August 30, 1930, Atlantic City finally got to see the play and the film that was set there when the talking picture Runaway Bride opened at the Royal Theatre on Atlantic and Ohio.  The theatre opened that same year, but was re-named the Hollywood Theatre a few years later. By the late 1970s its goose was cooked and it met a runaway demolition ball.
