Epilogue

Jokir and Naythaa are winding down in a tavern after a long day of showing their new friend around, who has already fallen asleep in a chair in the corner. Despite a nearby bard's close proximity, Miraak slumbers peacefully through the noise, a fact that doesn't escape the other Dragonborns' notice.

"Hah! Snoring away like a baby," Jokir chuckles softly. "Must be pretty tired if he can sleep through all that."

"I'm glad he feels safe enough to do so," Naythaa points out, the dunmer spellsword's features softening into a smile. "But after all that time in Apocrypha, it must be nice to be back among things like music, and singing and laughter. Maybe he's a little out of practice, but it's good to see him enjoying himself."

Jokir nods in agreement. "He's so out-of-touch with this world, after not being a part of it for so long... What we need is a 'Modern Nord Crash Course'," Jokir laughs. "I kind of feel like we have a responsibility to do right by him... but sometimes, when he asks about things that I don't know the answer to, I worry I'm letting him down," the Nord warrior frowns, folding his arms.

Naythaa ponders for a moment before her eyes light up. "Hey! Let's take him home to Farkas! Between him and the other Companions, Miraak will be caught up in no time!"

Jokir beams happily. "I love that idea! Farkas is great with kids, and patient with newbies! And you know what they say, it takes a village to raise a child. With all of us guiding him, he'll fit right in!"

With that decided, the two Dragonborn gently wake their companion and head upstairs to the room they've rented for the night. There is only one bed, but it goes unused, as Miraak promptly curls up like a cat upon the fur rug, Jokir and Naythaa doing the same, and everyone enjoys a peaceful, Mora-free sleep.

day 13 of my last teenage year

Pare dan semua cerita di dalamnya, aku bener2 kangen!

Ternyata setelah satu tahun terlewati pun, masih bisa nangis dibuatnya. Kalau saja air mata ini bisa jadi mutiara seperti di drama korea, aku rela berlarut dalam kesedihan. Tapi bagaimanalah, yang ada semakin larut semakin lupa diri.

Maaf ya, niatnya aku ingin berbagi (sekali lagi) di media sosial tentang kota itu, membuat postingan dan bercerita kepada semua, membagikan foto dan video. Kebahagiaan ketika datang dan kesedihan ketika pulang. Kebahagiaan ketika bertemu dan kesedihan ketika berpisah! Kalau boleh memilih, aku lebih baik diam di rumah saja waktu itu. Tidak perlu lah berniat cari teman baru jika ujungnya harus sama-sama melupa, harus dipaksa pisah sekian juta depa ketika sedang dekat-dekatnya.

Tapi kali ini buat apalah? Setelah dipikir-pikir, aku lebih memilih bersembunyi. Menghapus akun untuk sementara waktu, demi tidak semakin bergejolaknya kalau-kalau di sana ada kamu. Ternyata, semakin dibagikan semakin menyakitkan ya. Jadi aku pilih di sini, sebagai tempat baik untuk bercerita.

Maaf ya, pembaca, jika bosan melihatku menulis. Ah, menulis itu temanku. Diri memang diam. Mulut pun mengatup. Tapi di dalamnya bergemuruh bukan main. Aku memang suka berdiam diri untuk mengobati, lalu menulis, kemudian menangis. Hehe

Pare, aku janji suatu saat nanti bakal kembali ke sana! Ngga ada ide bakal sama siapa, kapan, dan bagaimana keadaan aku nanti. Yang jelas, aku akan kembali ke sana! Barang sehari pun tak masalah, sejam pun, atau barang makan di warung ijo/jokir dan pulang ketika kenyang, atau bahkan jika hanya menelusuri jalan-jalannya saja sungguh tidak apa-apa! Aku ingin ke sana dan bergelut dengan cerita lama! Ah, bodoh sekali ya, aku?

If you did want to draw me something, I would be super happy, and feel honored! Especially after you’ve already given so much! 🥺 I adore and admire your art, your style is so cute and charming! I love the interesting scenarios you come up with, especially when you point out things I hadn’t even considered before, and from such a funny viewpoint! Seeing your characters’ adventures always puts a smile on my face! You’re so creative and your sense of humor really shines 😊

I know I haven’t given out much to work with, because I’m very bad at posting about my own OCs… the only one I’ve shown so far is my smol Breton girl who I drew once in my Spirited Away crossover. I don’t know if it would even be helpful to the creative process, but I’ll put some details about her, just in case?

Her name is Brenna, young adult Breton, and she’s an Alchemist who is most skilled at Getting Herself Into Trouble. She isn’t even Dragonborn because of alternate start mods haha 😅

She can’t fight, runs crying from Solstheim’s creepy hopping bugs🦗, and mostly just wants to run around happily picking plants and collecting mushrooms! And maybe fishing or other fun things🧺⛺️🎳🎰… she’s kind of my Cottagecore Nature-Loving Gremlin character :)

She may be nearly useless in a fight, but she’s very friendly and kind-hearted, will listen to your troubles and give you a shoulder to cry on or hugs if you want them. Will also happily help people out with any tasks she *can* do. Gives you good-tasting elixirs and potions free of charge, too 🧪 :)

She mostly hangs around Tel Mithryn, which Neloth doesn’t seem to mind as long as she’s not a nuisance. Helps out alchemist-senpai Elynea, and does all of Talvas’s non-magical chores (Neloth then fills the free time by giving the poor guy even more book-work🥲).

If forced to become the Dragonborn, she would just do what she already does to Talvas when she drags him out as her safety escort, except on a bigger scale.. She’d gather every companion she could find into her party, and every skirmish would be them doing all the fighting while she hid behind a rock 😅

If they met, I think she’d get along well with Jokir, appreciating his positive energy and also cheering him on with whatever zany antics he might be up to 😀 

To Naythaa and Sunny, she would be their Adoring Fan, looking up to them like Cool Big Sisters and following them around with starry eyes.. Would ask for advice sometimes, or to hang out and do something fun 🏄‍♀️🏐

And they probably wouldn’t meet, but Acelta would be her Alchemist Idol, she’d wish to be his apprentice and learn all the Hidden Forbidden Plant Knowledge that only a true master would know🌱😮
