So Flávio is taking on the role of team principal. So I expect we can see a Franco announcement at some point soon then. Which is great for Franco, but once again it’s Alpine being shitty to their drivers. Cause why do they have a pattern of this behaviour, from Jolyon Palmer, to Oscar to the way they handled signing Jack in the first place with getting Mick’s hope up.

Not to mention Flávio told a driver to crash. There is no safe way of doing that at all. Every time a driver crashes they are putting themselves, the marshals and the fans at huge risk. The amount of people I’ve seen celebrating a man who intentionally put his driver in harms way because there might be a chance Franco gets a seat is ridiculous. Cause you guys may be celebrating now but when Franco goes in that seat and the car doesn’t perform who do you think is going to get the blame? I’ll give you a hint it won’t be the team or the car!

The way British media and commentators are completely vilifying Max for one incident in which Norris played a part too is so freaking disgusting. Did you hear them vilify Norris after he pushed Max into the grass in Spain? Nope. Nothing. Did you hear them villify Hamilton for crashing into Piastri in Monza for example? Nope. It's just another day.

The way this sport is so overrun by Brits is making it excruciating to watch at times.

British bias is alive and thriving and I fear it will remain that way until the sport ceases to exist.

Alpine/ Renault lost my respect back in 2017 with the way they treated/ handled Jolyon Palmer and his departure. They lost even more respect in the way they handled signing their second driver for 2025. Like they got Mick’s hopes up and didn’t even tell him they would be signing one of his closest friends. They have now signed Jack (a move that earned some more respect) only to say he is gonna be evaluated race by race and that Franco is waiting in the wings. I love Franco and he 100% deserves an F1 seat but so does Jack. Not to mention they sign Paul as a reserve driver and then add Franco to the mix. Like really shitty move Alpine… get your act together and remember you are acting like a recent championship winning team while fighting at the bottom of the grid!

EDIT: not to mention the way they treated Oscar! That whole contract debacle was embarrassing for them

Tbh I pay for f1tv because their commentators are super good at appearing unbiased. Alex Jacques doesn’t fuck around… like he is not a journalist. He doesn’t stir the pot .. and him and jolyon as a duo are absolutely perfect, they are so goofy together and nerds
