I cannot believe this timeline. In 2009, Flavio Briatore was forced to leave voluntarily resigned from his position as Renault team principal for cheating and fixing a race. FIA thought there was some foundations to this whole story and banned Briatore from FIA sanctioned events indefinitely. (Yes, he sued and yes, the courts overturned the decision. But still...). Yet here we are, 16 years have gone by and this mf is now back in the same position as team principal for the same team he committed crimes before. 💀

I know we joke that f1 is basically musical chairs at times but this is taking the cake at this point. Five races is ridiculous. If you don't let rookies grow and develop, you're never going to get anywhere with this upcoming generation of drivers because they're never going to reach their potential.
