MUSICIANS I ENJOY FOLLOWING ON SOCIAL MEDIA #2. So I can’t afford any Aimee Mann on vinyl, if I can even find it. I just have her solo and Til Tuesday albums on CD. But as long as I’m showing off “likes” (next to The English Beat post from earlier today) here’s Ms. Mann giving a like to my Instagram pumpkin carving post last Halloween when I was listening to “I’m With Stupid” and drinking #champagnevelvet. Hers is a another good Instagram account to follow, @realaimeemann is. You just, oh, get to see little glimpses of her normal (for a rock star married to a rock star) life. Man, late 90s I couldn’t stop listening to “Whatever” and “I’m With Stupid” then the Magnolia soundtrack and “Bachelor No.2” in the early 00s. I started salting all my minivan CDs with selections and the kids grew up with various songs. Her and #jonbrion were such a team. Anyway. El blue monday que DURÓ un AÑO.

-Así que, perdí mi back up de aquel artículo que fallidamente intente crear a Inicios del 2020 para hablar sobre lo más reciente póstumo a la muerte de Mc Miller.

-Así es mis queridos haters con la habilidad de  lectura. Estamos hablando de nada más, ni nada amenos, que Circles;  un álbum lanzado en 2020 exactamente el 17 del Mes de Enero.

Producido por Jon Brion un músico instrumentista, compositor,cantante, escritor, y productor de música de los Angeles. Trabajo en el soundtrack de Pretty Women, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,  mas recientemente Lady Bird nominada al Oscar, escribe para Fiona Apple, Kanye West entre otros. Sus premios mas recientes un Grammy por mejor  disco de rap por Swimming del cual ya te retomaremos más adelante en el articulo.

-Malcolm, plasma justamente en tono meloso y con diseños de sonido innovadores.( con referentes evidentes a géneros como:  fuzz, surf, algo de psicodelia también entrelazando sonidos más orgánicos como el  de guitarras acústicas, ô pianos entre otros)

Sentando precedente al  "Blue Monday" que para mi durarîa un año.

   Excelente si estas en casa acompañado de un buen café ô vino, ya que si tienes la dicha de vivir con tus mejores amigos; esta entrega, es excelente solo para chillear y aventarte un juego de mesa. Como siempre, toca temas y problemáticas que invitan a  reflexionar, a veces su propio amigo a veces su propio verdugo

El álbum da 12 tracks que ya están en distintas plataformas desde el año pasado. Creanme, un año después sigo recomendando este álbum y al menos 6 canciones son ya, mis favoritas. Sin miedo a equivocarme; tambien se, que esta entrega se vuelve una pieza culto para la industria, ya que Malcolm se une al codiciado club de los 27.

Justo dos años después de lograr un Grammy "BEST ALBUM" con SWIMMING entrega anterior.

No intento promover la depresión como un "fancy Life style", pero sí remarcar que la depresión es una enfermedad. La cual debe ser tratada y normalizada.
