A United Nations agency has been caught helping Hamas. The Washington Post, however, is here to help both the genocidal terrorist group and the corrupt organization that shares its ultimate objective: the destruction of the Jewish state.
A Jan. 30, 2024 Post column entitled “Biden’s cutoff of Palestinian aid is inhumane and strategically stupid” was a veritable whitewash of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), whose employees took part in the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas-led invasion of Israel, the largest massacre of Jewish civilians since the Holocaust.
On Jan. 26, Philippe Lazzarini, UNRWA’s commissioner-general, acknowledged that Israeli authorities had provided the organization with “information about the alleged involvement of several UNRWA employees in the horrific attacks on Israel.” Lazzarini stated that he had “immediately terminated the contracts of these staff members.”
Washington Post columnist Josh Rogin noted that “12 U.N. employees in Gaza” allegedly participated in the attack, noting that, “if found guilty” they “deserve no sanctuary and no mercy.” He also said that “UNRWA has big questions to answer about this and other instances of some of its 13,000 employees seeming support for violence against Israelis.”
But Rogin declined to elaborate on what some of these “other instances” were. No additional facts were given. Instead, Rogin devoted most of his column to calling Biden administration cuts to UNRWA “cruel” and counterproductive. Cuts to UNRWA, he warned, “will have ripple effects that will make solving all of the Middle East’s problems more difficult.”
It is far from certain whether solving “all of the Middle East’s problems” should be a US objective, let alone whether that is obtainable.
However, what it is certain is that eight decades after the end of World War II, UN employees helped carry out the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. And far from being outliers, their behavior is reflective of UNRWA itself. The UN agency’s support for murdering Jews is endemic. It is also extensively documented. And Rogin declined to provide examples that were already in the public domain.
Indeed, as The Wall Street Journal reported before Rogin’s column ran, intelligence reports indicate that no fewer than a dozen UNRWA employees “had connections” to the Oct. 7 massacre, and at least six took part in the attack. At least two others helped kidnap Israelis, and others “were tracked to sites where Jewish civilians were shot and killed.” The Journal also noted that “others coordinated logistics for the assault, including procuring weapons.” UNRWA vehicles and facilities were also used.
Far from a case of “a few bad apples,” as both UNRWA and its apologists in the press would have the world believe, UNRWA’s complicity is extensive. Intelligence estimates shared with the Journal indicate that no fewer than 1,200 of its employees in Gaza “have links to Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad, about half have close relative who belong” to these US-designated terror groups.
Put another way: how many UN employees aiding and abetting the systemic slaughter of Jews is too many before US taxpayers quit the footing the bill?

While monitoring events in the Middle East, don't take your eyes off of Putin.
The conflict between Israel and Hamas is not unrelated to Russia's war of aggression in Ukraine.
From Josh Rogin in the Washington Post.
The current temporary government funding bill expires at the end of November. That’s also the deadline for approving U.S. aid to Ukraine before real damage is done to Kyiv’s ability to continue fighting. The House will feel pressure to pass an Israel-Ukraine funding bill quickly if the Senate sends it over. But it’s a high-risk gambit. “If the administration and Ukraine supporters in the House and Senate don’t get together and push this through, it is very possible that Ukraine aid will not pass in the House at all,” a senior GOP congressional aide told me. “This is going to be a fight and it’s not going to be easy. But this is one of the only realistic paths forward now for Ukraine aid.” It’s worth noting that Russian propaganda outlets are eager to present U.S. aid to Israel and Ukraine as contradictory, with President Biden forced to choose between them. The Russian government has not condemned the Hamas terrorist attacks. The Kremlin is asserting that Ukraine has sent weapons to Hamas, while Kyiv claims that Hamas received captured Ukrainian arms from Moscow.
You know Putin is desperate when he's trying to get people to believe that Ukraine is somehow sending arms to Hamas. He's apparently appealing to the lowest IQ people on the planet.
Iran and Russia are on the same side. Iran underwrites Hamas, they are the wealthiest terrorist group around today. Russia has a large presence in Syria which is next to Lebanon where Trump's favorite terrorist group Hezbollah is active.
Yet Russia is right to suggest that the two wars are connected. For one thing, Iranian assistance plays heavily into both conflicts. Iran is supplying drones to Russia to kill Ukrainian civilians and likely helped Hamas to develop the drone capability it just used to kill Israeli civilians.
Iran builds drones which Russia, backed by the House Putin Caucus, uses to kill Ukrainians.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reportedly refused to sign an agreement presented by American lawmakers in Munich that would have pledged half of Ukraine’s “future mineral reserves” to U.S. mining interests. On Friday, Washington Post journalist Josh Rogin tweeted the following:
Two members of the Ukrainian delegation told Reuters that “some details” still need to be worked out. The news agency indicated that Kyiv is pushing for greater security guarantees from Europe and the United States. Last week, President Zelensky told Reuters he was offering a “mutually beneficial partnership” to develop rare earth minerals, titanium, uranium, and lithium, insisting that his administration would not simply "give them away.”

Drone strikes Chernobyl Nuclear Plant. Vance warns EU. Scholz calls for state of emergency. US Treasury pays $100bn annually to unknown recipients. ANATOMY OF AN AI COUP
Lioness of Judah Ministry
Feb 15, 2025
High-Explosive Drone Pierces Shell Of Chernobyl Nuclear Plant At Very Moment Trump Pushes Ukraine Toward Peace
...headed into a false-flaggy weekend?
On Friday just prior to high-level meetings among Western security officials and Ukrainian leadership commencing in Munich, including US Vice President J.D. Vance and Zelensky, there was a dangerous incident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine's Kyiv oblast. Ukraine's President Zelensky accused Russia of launching a drone equipped with a high-explosive warhead at the historic, defunct power plant, site of the April 1986 nuclear disaster and meltdown. The drone reportedly hit the protective containment shell of the Chernobyl plant.
Moscow responds to Chernobyl strike accusation
An alleged drone incident at the facility could have been a Ukrainian provocation, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said
The Russian military does not target nuclear infrastructure, including what remains on the site of the destroyed Chernobyl power plant, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Friday. Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky had alleged earlier in the day that a Russian drone had attacked the containment structure built over what remains of the Soviet power facility which was devastated in a 1986 disaster. Zelensky reported “significant damage” in the incident. Peskov stated that any claims that Russia is targeting nuclear facilities are false by default. He said he has no verified information about the situation, but assumed that most likely it was “the latest provocation, a frame up” orchestrated by Kiev. He added: “This is what they love doing.”
Zelensky refused to sign rare earths deal with US – media
President Trump has said he wants access to Ukraine’s natural resources in exchange for the US aid
Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky has declined to sign an agreement that would give the US access to his country’s rare-earth minerals, Washington Post reporter Josh Rogin and Reuters have claimed. Earlier this month, US President Donald Trump made it clear that he wanted Kiev to pay for the assistance it has received from Washington with its natural resources. According to the 2024 World Economic Forum report, Ukraine “holds immense potential as a major global supplier of critical raw materials” that could be “essential” for defense, high-tech, and green energy industries. The nation boasts Europe’s largest titanium and lithium reserves, which are not classified as rare-earth elements.

Vice President-elect JD Vance raised concerns on Sunday about the Syrian rebels who have ousted Syria's authoritarian leader Bashar Al-Assad, saying that some of the rebels are an "offshoot of ISIS."
Assad's regime collapsed this weekend after a stunning turnaround after nearly 14 years of conflict. The deposed Syrian leader reportedly fled the country as rebels took control of the major Syrian city of Homs as well as the capital Damascus.
Various rebel groups continue to operate in Syria, with different regional and international allies. The principle rebel group that has led the charge to depose Assad in recent days is Hay'at Tahrir al Sham (HTS), which came out of Al-Qaeda and is designated by the U.S. as a terrorist organization. HTS was formerly known as Al-Nusra Front.
"As President Trump said, this is not our fight and we should stay out of it," Vance wrote in Sunday X, formerly Twitter, post, commenting on the situation in Syria.
"Aside from that, opinions like the below make me nervous. The last time this guy was celebrating events in Syria we saw the mass slaughter of Christians and a refugee crisis that destabilized Europe," Vance, who is currently serving as a Republican senator for Ohio, wrote.
The vice president-elect's post shared comments from Josh Rogin, a Washington Post columnist who covers foreign policy and national security.
"Syria is free. The rebels won. The people liberated themselves from tyranny. Freedom won. Russia, Iran, Hezbollah & Assad lost. Historic. The road ahead for Syria won't be easy. But it will be better than the past. The world should celebrate Syria's liberation & help it succeed," Rogin wrote on X on Saturday.
In a follow-up post, Vance added, "Many of 'the rebels' are a literal offshoot of ISIS. One can hope they've moderated. Time will tell."
Newsweek reached out to the U.S. State Department for comment on Sunday morning.
What Rebels Have Said About Their Plans for Syria
Like HTS, ISIS did emerge from Al-Qaeda, but the groups have been at odds in Syria. Critics of HTS have said the militant group will rule Syria as an extremist Islamist state. But Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, the leader of HTS, has said that his organization aims for all Syrians to coexist in unity.
"No one has the right to erase another group. These sects have coexisted in this region for hundreds of years, and no one has the right to eliminate them," Jolani told CNN in an interview this week.
Jolani was formerly a member of the Islamic State in Iraq, which eventually morphed in ISIS. He founded Al-Nusra Front in 2012, but it became HTS in 2017 as the group tried to moderate its image.
"People who fear Islamic governance either have seen incorrect implementations of it or do not understand it properly," he told CNN.
While the majority of Syrians are Muslim, the country has vibrant and sizable communities of Christians, Alawites and Druze, among others. Assad's family is part of the Alawite minority.
How Syrians Have Reacted
This weekend, the rebels advanced into Damascus after capturing Homs, Syria's third-largest city. In Homs, thousands of residents poured into streets after the army withdrew, chanting "Assad is gone, Homs is free" and "Long live Syria and down with Bashar al-Assad."
Youths tore down posters of the Syrian president as rebels fired celebratory shots. Security forces left in haste after burning their documents, Reuters reported. Videos have circulated widely on social media of Syrians toppling statues of Assad throughout the country.
What Donald Trump Has Said
As Vance mentioned, Trump commented on Assad's removal from power in a Truth Social post
"Assad is gone. He has fled his country. His protector, Russia, Russia, Russia, led by Vladimir Putin, was not interested in protecting him any longer. There was no reason for Russia to be there in the first place. They lost all interest in Syria because of Ukraine, where close to 600,000 Russian soldiers lay wounded or dead, in a war that should never have started, and could go on forever," the president-elect wrote.
"Russia and Iran are in a weakened state right now, one because of Ukraine and a bad economy, the other because of Israel and its fighting success. Likewise, Zelensky and Ukraine would like to make a deal and stop the madness. They have ridiculously lost 400,000 soldiers, and many more civilians."

A Washington Post Reporter's Shocking Response to CNN Scott Jennings' Take on Zelensky's WH Trip
Tumblr media
CNN’s Scott Jennings was spot-on again. On Laura Coates Live, Jennings said that all Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had to do was wear a suit, sign a minerals deal, eat lunch, and that’s it. The United States is the only partner they have who can drag them out of this mess of a war that’s remained stagnant for months. A peace deal/ceasefire is the only way out—Ukraine isn’t getting its original territory back. We’re also not bankrolling this quagmire anymore.
 Washington Post’s Josh Rogin
Tumblr media
had a shocking response: he couldn’t agree more with what Jennings said, which he admitted might get him roasted on social media. It’s surprising in the sense that the people sitting opposite of Jennings usually get turned into sashimi with weak talking points and liberal insanity. Not here.
— Collin Rugg (@CollinRugg) March 1, 2025
Zelensky misread the room terribly, which culminated in the Oval Office smackdown that was witnessed by all, horrifying the neoconservative war hawks who are now shilling for Democrats. Yet, it’s clear that the old meltdowns would not happen here. Sure, some anti-Trumpers might have guffawed over this, with the usual ‘Putin puppet’ nonsense being recycled. But the clips are there, Zelensky even got Biden, who is half braindead, to lose his temper.
