I have five minutes and a bunch of feelings, so...

I have to admit, the fact that only straight Du'Met ships are included in this entire poll made me think all of this is an elaborate shitpost. But people are taking it way too serious for a shitpost, so the Du'Met ships might have been added as an "easy way" for the rival ship in each bracket to win.

Like. Seriously. Du'Met with Erin or Jamie (two wlw in a relationship) and Kate (I might maybe see it as part of the bad ending?) instead of with Mark (the only one in the entire game who saw his face) or Charlie (arguably the one with the most canon backing and the biggest TDIM ship) just feels out of place.

I think if the initial poll had been JoshChris versus Charlie/Du'Met, we might have gotten a more honest result, as both ships have a decent fanbase, and Du'lie seems to inspire less hate despite being more "problematic" than travislaura. (Seriously, some of you behave like travislaura broke into your house and shot your dog.) As it is, I think the poll was heavily botted - seemingly proven by the way the Travislauramax poll barely got any attention in comparison and still scored 40% of the votes despite "Laura has two hands" neither being a preferred option for both travislaura or lauramax shippers.

(Congrats to the tiny Travislauramax bubble by the way, you did amazing!)

(Also congrats to the people who got the UD secret santa back due to JoshChris winning, I hope you'll have a good time!)

I also think if this poll was Charlie/Du'Met versus travislaura, we might have a decent fight between two fanbases instead of travislauras doing their thing and anti-travislauras supporting an even more problematic ship that might not even be a thing out of spite. 🤷‍♂️
