Parallel between Joshifer's concussion situation and 2 Everlark scenes.

When Jen accidentally gave Josh a concussion, Josh passed out a little and woke up to Jen crying because she was guilty and scared. He had to console her while she cried, holding an ice pack to his head and telling her it was okay.

(I'm sorry I can't give credit to the person who made these GIFs. These are so effing old and I just had them in my phone. 🤣)

This is almost identical to the Everlark scene in the first book where Katniss gets so upset when she finds out Peeta's leg was amputed because she thinks it's her fault. Peeta consoles her while she cries uncontrolably.

Then we get another identical scene in Catching Fire when Peeta's heart stops. Katniss cries so hard Peeta has to console her, telling her it's okay when he literally just came back from the dead.

This is too much for me.

I had some off-time and decided it would be a great idea to rewatch THG...what I wasn't expecting was me being hit by ALL THE FEELS all over again

Which brought me here...once again:D I spent literally EVERY day on here during the golden THG/ Joshifer days and can't believe I´m back SO MANY YEARS LATER and I guess the majority of the people have left the fandom but it feels damn good to be back!

*Carves salt off said Himalayan stone* There was literally no excuse to skimp out on chemistry in Mockingjay Part Two okay. Absolutely NO EXCUSE. Because yes, our two leads most certainly had the chemistry AND the acting capabilities. I know they mentioned that they got giggly during more romantic scenes, but that shouldn't detract from any chemistry on screen- MATTER OF FACT IT SHOULD ADD TO IT? LIKE THEY'RE SO COMFORTABLE WITH EACH OTHER THAT THEY JUST HAVE FUN AND LAUGH ON SET BUT WHATEVER THAT'S NONE OF MY BUSINESS,,,

And then of course you have the whole setup that I love to constantly go off on lol- the fact that Francis established a deep intimacy/connection in Mockingjay Part One? And went OUT OF HIS WAY TO PROVIDE EVERLARK CONTENT??? AND GAVE US SCENES THAT DIDN'T EVEN EXIST IN THE BOOKS JUST TO FURTHER THEIR DYNAMIC??? ONLY TO HARDLY PROVIDE INTIMACY IN MOCKINGJAY PART TWO AT ALL??? PARDON?????

LIKE IT'S ASTOUNDING LOL. YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT WE HAD A WHOLE ASS LINE WHERE KATNISS GOES "WHEN YOU LOVE SOMEONE YOU DON'T LEAVE THEM BEHIND" IN MOCKINGJAY PART ONE, AND SOMETHING THAT MOST CERTAINLY SOUNDS LIKE "I LOVE YOU, PEETA..."
