Today I am thinking of petty Deku... petty judgy Izuku... the way he flattens his brow and narrows his eyes and sets his mouth into a firm line... doesn't say a word, probably taught that if he doesn't have anything nice to say then he shouldn't say it, but the words are there imprisoned, capped against the roof of his mouth, annoyance and bitterness just under the surface........ It was just a small lie. To your parents, at first. Mainly because you were tired from questions...and also because Konig is the only guy from your friend group that follows you like a puppy. You only found out that he knew about it when you were exiting a friend's gathering. His hand caught yours, a firm hold on your wrist. Quiet statement that he will drive your home - this is what boyfriends are supposed to do, right? You tried to tell him that he is not your boyfriend, that there is no way he believed in whatever lies you were telling to everyone - but your friends smile at how considerate he is, spend the whole night not drinking just so he could drive his drunk girl home. Konig smiles under that dumb half-mask of his when you try to protest without alerting your friends. when he drags you to his car and instructs you to take off his mask and kiss him properly - it's the least you could do after leading him on for so long and then simply using him as a shield, right? He isn't mad, not really...he'd play the role of your boyfriend just fine if you were okay with him getting it too seriously...
