Change the future part 3
Tumblr media
part 1
a/n: Still on hiatus, just wanted to post something on the triplets' birthday
a/n2: I don’t even know what ship is this about anymore
__________________________
"At some point you're going to have to talk to her about this"
"But that won’t be today, Pepa"
Julieta said as she continued to cook, deliberately ignoring the way her pulse raced and her nerves stood on edge. She didn't even need to turn around to know that her sister was rolling her eyes as she leaned against the door frame. She knew the redhead was right, but she didn't have the will or the courage to face this thing she had been running from for weeks and only one thought lived rent free in her mind.
Y/N’s back.
Her head was spinning just remembering the moment she saw you again. You were thinner, you had more gray hair, and a couple of new wrinkles around your eyes, but you were still her Y/N, warm, simple, and unbelievably beautiful.
She didn't like to admit that she probably would have thrown herself into your arms without thinking if it weren't for Isabela, who had been faster than her. Things hadn’t been easy for her and her two remaining daughters, so the moment they saw you appear over the hill, the three of them had run out of the house not caring that the rest of the family looked at them in confusion.
Isabela didn't even bother to slow her run before she crashed into the open arms you offered her and your joyous laughter made her stomach feel weird, as if thousands of butterflies woke up inside her. You had shared many things in your letters during all those years, and for that time, Julieta allowed herself to think that it was enough, but the universe showed her how wrong she was when, having you in front of her once more, her heart seemed to cry happy tears, as if a piece of her had finally come back to complete her puzzle.
She didn't have time to think about it though, not when her precious Mirabel, now so big and beautiful, lunged at her, hiding her face in her neck, crying and telling her how much she had missed her. It took her brain a moment to recognize that the young woman in her arms was, in fact, her youngest daughter, her baby, but once that settled in her mind, it was like all the weight of the world was finally lifted from her shoulders.
"You're so beautiful, mija" she whispered, not even bothering to stop the tears that ran down her cheeks.
Mirabel had smiled waterily at her, whispering a soft thank you and saying again how much she had missed her. The girl dulled in her mother’s scent for a while, just trying to find the comfort she needed when she left so many years ago, and sighed happily before gasping and pulling away from her to run to the person behind her.
"Tía Pepa!!"
The brunette barely had a few seconds to laugh at the way her daughter was scooped up by the redhead before she herself was tackled by two familiarly strange and warm bodies.
"Tía Juli, look! I'm almost as tall as you!"
"Tía, tía, tía, I already know how to cook! And look! I cut my hair!"
"We brought you presents!"
"But mine are better because I love you more"
"Not true! I love her more!"
"No, I love her more!"
Julieta only managed to laugh softly while Joaquín and María clung to each of her arms and fought for her attention; they had five years of conversations to catch up with her after all. It really felt like time hadn't passed, even though your children were no longer the little babies she saw leaving that night. And then there was you.
You, who had smiled at her with complicity from your own tangle of hugs with Luisa and Isabela, you, who had been her rock, her pillar, and her cane even when you were so far away. You, who were stirring her entire being with your mere presence. You, who had approached her, hugged her when your children still held her arms hostage. You, who had whispered in her ear that little confession that haunted her dreams.
"I was dying to see you again, Eta...I missed you so much"
At that time, she had simply wriggled out of your children's grasp and returned the gesture, trying not to get lost on your warmth (even if she really wanted to cry), having you there was a huge relief, and all the stress and anxiety that had been eating at her insides for years was finally beginning to dissipate, her usually tormented mind was quickly being filled with a single thought: you were here.
"I missed you too" she managed to say, looking into your eyes with a small smile
"Yes, yes, will you get out of here please? There are people who also want to greet Y/N”
Julieta blinked a bit as her sister pulled her away from you and she didn't miss the way you looked at her half amused and half confused before returning Pepa's tight hug. She couldn't blame you, her sister had never been as close to you as she was, but she supposed that after everything that had happened since you left, the redhead's conception of you had changed. Well, at least you knew you had both of your sisters-in-law on your side.
“It's good to see you again, Pepa” you said as you separated “You haven't aged a bit…you don't even have gray hair! I need to know your secret"
"Oh, Y/N" she laughed "it's good to have you back"
"Her secret is to annoy me so that I’m the one getting gray hair and not her'' Julieta joked, crossing her arms.
You looked between the sisters while Pepa rolled her eyes and stuck out her tongue at the brunette, a gesture that the older triplet returned. Your mind struggled to catch up on it all, because you really couldn't remember the last time you'd seen them tease each other so openly, it was pretty cute.
The rest of the meeting was pretty adorable too. Joaquín and María used Félix as a climbing pole, while the man just laughed, Luisa and Isabela told you as much as they could, asking you questions while you tried to pay attention to both of them. Julieta thought that her daughter would ask about Agustín, or that she would be upset with her for their divorce, but Mirabel was quick to give her a hug and assure her that she didn't blame her or cared about him.
The brunette didn't have to wonder much where her youngest daughter was learning to handle the situation, because at that moment you intervened, gently squeezing the girl's shoulder.
"He couldn't bear to lose a daughter so he abandoned the other two? Math ain mathin" you said.
Julieta had just smiled gratefully at you as you winked at her, and for a moment everything felt good, like things were really starting to go back to normal, the way they should be. And then…then you saw Bruno.
The moment your eyes locked on the man hiding behind his mother would never leave her mind. Your eyes, which had been filled with warmth and kindness to everyone, turned cold and filled with a deep sadness that you desperately tried to disguise as disgust. And yet, she couldn't even pretend that she felt bad for her brother.
"Y/N" the man greeted awkwardly, forcing a guilty smile "...you look good."
"Bruno" you answered dryly
The air was charged with an intense tension that everyone could feel in their bones, as if it could be cut with a knife, or as if one wrong move could shatter such a surreal scene into a thousand pieces.
"It's good to see you again"
"I wish I could say the same"
Julieta felt in her own chest the dagger that you were burying on Bruno, who at least had the decency to look at the ground with remorse, but she knew you better.
It wasn't that you wanted to be cruel to the man you had loved more than life, but precisely that love you had for him had hurt you too much, it had destroyed you and it had hurt your children too. You were only trying to protect the hearts you had worked so hard to repair.
"What are you doing here?" Alma asked, looking at you with hate
"I came to see my family" you answered with the most neutral voice you could, but your hands were shaking
"This is no longer your family"
"Mom-" the older triplet tried to intervene.
"You shut up!" The older woman yelled, making everyone jump "Wasn't it enough for you to help this damn woman break the family?! Now you welcome her back with open arms?! After she stole my grandchildren?! Your own daughter?!"
"I didn't steal anyone! They are my children" you defended yourself.
You really didn't want to cause a scene, especially with all the children present, and because more than once you had to comfort Mirabel after waking up to the recurring nightmare involving her grandmother yelling at her. But that woman drove you mad with extreme ease.
"They would have been better here!" Alma replied "Away from your wicked hands. They belonged here, they wanted to stay here!"
"That's not true! My children wanted to go with me!"
"You had no right! They are Bruno's children!"
"He abandoned them!" Julieta yelled, making everyone look at her.
She could feel her heart racing, blood pooling in her cheeks, and a single look at her brother told her that she had finished erasing the faint ghost of what had once been her relationship with him, but she didn't care.
She couldn't care, not when she could see out of the corner of her eye how Mirabel was hiding behind you, how Isabela tried her best to appear calm but her hands moved as if she could still command an army of plants to defend her sisters.
Not when she could see Pepa and Felix trying to create a weak barrier with their bodies between their children and Alma, when Dolores hugged Camilo as if he was a little child in the hope that no one would hurt her brother again.
And especially not when she could feel your own fear, sadness, and despair as Joaquín and María clung to her own sides, suddenly terrified of who had once been a loving grandmother to them. Everything was wrong, everything was damaged beyond repair, there was nothing left for her to break, but she still had a family, a broken one, but a family nonetheless and she had to protect them, no matter from whom.
"How dare you talk about your brother like that?" Alma whispered dangerously "how dare you when you allowed your daughter to be kidnapped?!" that seemed to wake you up.
"Bruno left without saying anything, without caring about us, Julieta just protected us, all of us" you said, placing a hand on your sister-in-law's shoulder.
You didn't know if it was a bad choice of words or action, perhaps both, but you could see the moment when your mother-in-law's eyes flashed with an intense fire fueled by hatred and resentment. You barely managed to see her hand in the air and by intuition you closed your eyes, waiting for the blow.
"Don't you ever dare-"
 But it never came.
"IT'S ENOUGH!"
You opened your eyes to see Julieta holding Alma's hand firmly, preventing it from getting to you. Julieta, the golden daughter of the Madrigal family, the sweetest and most loving woman you'd ever meet, defying the woman who once commanded respect with her mere presence. Although, was it really respect? Or was it fear? You thought that, deep down, it was the latter.
It really was a surreal scene, as if everything was frozen around you. But a voice in the back of your mind told you that it shouldn't surprise you so much, after all, this was also the woman who had made one of the most difficult decisions of her life in order to protect her daughter, the one who had broken blood ties in order to keep the rest of her family safe, the one who, no matter how much it hurt her to be separated from her brother and mother, still got up every day for the others’ sake.
No, it definitely shouldn't surprise you that if anyone had the strength to face Alma and everything that entailed, it was precisely the one who was once the brightest star in the family constellation.
Julieta Madrigal was many things, beautiful, brave, strong, maternal, affectionate and loyal, but she also hid a wolf inside her, one that was already fed up with seeing how her pack was threatened. She was ready to get the fangs out, and you were beginning to see why the rest had trusted her to be the head of the family.
"You insolent-"
"I SAID THAT’S ENOUGH!" the brunette growled, still holding her mother's hand "I've been patient with you, mother, but not anymore."
You could hear a couple of gasps behind you, and you weren't too surprised when Pepa approached you like a scared little girl while Mirabel hugged her. If you didn't know that the miracle was gone, you would think that the icy wind that enveloped you was your sister-in-law’s fault.
"Let go, Julieta-"
"I'm not going to let you talk like that to Y/N" she replied, you could see that she was squeezing the older woman's hand tightly, and from Alma's expression, it was obvious that it hurt, but it seemed like no one could move as you witnessed "the next time you raise your hand to her, me, or anyone in this family, it will be the last time you have a family"
That was a sentence that you yourself could feel in your bones. There was absolutely no trace of compassion or kindness in the older triplet's voice, nor did it leave any doubt that she would keep her word. It was a perfect ultimatum, one that even Alma seemed to understand, because she didn't utter a word as her daughter released her and walked back to the house.
The rest of you looked at each other for a few seconds before Pepa, with Mirabel still in her arms, went after her sister, causing the rest to follow her, including your children, who passed by Bruno without even looking at him, and ran to reach the hands of their favorite aunt. Your mother-in-law just muttered something about going with the Guzmáns and she walked away, disappearing into the night.
Only you and Bruno were left, both looking at each other with surprise, doubt and a little fear. Your eyes seemed to ask a thousand questions but neither of you understood what they were. In the end, you simply sighed and lightly hugged the man who, you must have reminded yourself, was still your husband.
"This wasn't how I expected tonight to go" you confessed lightly.
"It was something that was destined to happen" he whispered "if this didn't explode before it was only because Juli always had the patience of a saint... but I guess everything has a limit"
"I'm so sorry" you said to yourself, guilt beginning to rise in you "if I hadn't-"
"Don't, it wasn't because of you" he smiled a little "...things have been tense between them since before I even met you."
"Really?" you frowned "but...it seemed like she was the favorite daughter"
"She was the closest to the perfect doll mom had in mind" he corrected you "And it only got worse when we turned 5"
"When you got the gifts?"
"Yes" he sighed and looked at his hands "Pepa and I suffered a lot for our gifts, but we always knew that Julieta had it worse"
"Why?"
"Because she's the one who looks the most like dad" he answered, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world "If she hadn't been born a woman, I assure you, she would be his living portrait"
You thought about it for a moment. You had seen Pedro Madrigal's portrait many times, and although you had never paid much attention to physical details, you had always believed that he radiated a warmth that you only knew from his eldest daughter. It made sense that Alma would have seen the ghost of her late husband in her, and at that moment, something clicked on you.
"And Julieta's gift allowed her to help the community like no one else could" you looked him in the eye "Despite the exhaustion and fatigue, she was always ready to help others... like your father"
"That's right" he agreed.
"But...her gift made her absorb others’ pain" you continued, with the pieces falling into place in your mind quickly "she was in constant suffering...Alma made her reenact Pedro's sacrifice every day"
"And Pepa and I couldn't do anything"
You looked at Bruno for a moment. Despite being the youngest, he looked terribly tired, his eyes swam in deep sadness, his hands trembled and he looked incredibly fragile. Your heart forgot all about anger and disappointment, and was quickly filled with the same affection you had felt for him the first time you met him, a tender and childish love, pure and sincere. He was a brother who felt guilty for not protecting his sister.
"You love her" you said, it wasn't a question.
"As you don't have an idea" he answered anyway "when I came back, it was her arms that I wanted to feel, not mom's" he admitted "but she was furious with me, and with good reason. I shouldn't have left, I shouldn't have left you or the children, I shouldn't have allowed mom to treat Mirabel like that...I should have done things differently...but that doesn't matter now"
You looked at him sympathetically and put a hand on his shoulder so that he looked at you. He seemed so lost, like a kid who has broken something and didn't know how to apologize to mom. Yes, there were too many things that maybe he could have done differently, you too. But that no longer mattered, time was not going to come back and all you could do was start walking towards the best option you had now, and you both knew that that option had a name.
"Have you tried talking to her?" you asked softly
"Mom is always by my side" he said "And I n-never have the courage to talk to her when we're alone, I…I just don't want her to hate me more"
"She doesn't hate you" you said immediately "she could never hate you... you're her baby brother, and we both know that deep down, there will always be a place in her heart for you, no matter how hard Alma tries to keep you from getting back on good terms with her."
"I feel like I've failed her too much" he murmured, looking at the ground "It doesn't matter what I do anymore, our relationship is broken beyond repair...B-but I love her, that's why I try to keep mom busy with me and leave the rest of us alone. I love her and Pepa, and-and I love our family, my nephews, my nieces, my children...and you"
Your cheeks warmed at the last words, and by the way his eyes looked everywhere but at you, you knew he hadn't expected that confession to slip out of him either, at least not at the moment. You smiled and hugged him again, trying not to let the discomfort touch you.
"Talk to her, Bruno" you said "I'm sure you can fix things...so can we" you smiled
He looked at you hopefully and slowly smiled back, walking silently beside you as you went back to the house. You both knew this wasn't a mend, that there was still too much going on between you, but at least you were headed in the right direction. After all, you'd already fallen in love with him once, who said it couldn't happen twice?
______________________
Except that the first time you hadn't had your sister-in-law's face on your mind, nor had you had a little five-year-old nephew rock your entire world with a simple question.
You really couldn't blame the little guy. Antonio was just a child trying to catch up with the changing situation of his family, he was learning to live with some cousins and an aunt he never knew and you knew you had to be patient with his questions.
You had to admit that he was adorable, and despite Pepa's teasing, it was nice to have him behind you all day. Joaquín and María had become his best friends immediately and it was obvious that he was replacing your son as Mirabel's favorite cousin.
Speaking of your children, both of them were making a titanic effort to stay away from their grandmother, but they were spending more and more time with their father, which seemed to be the first steps towards Bruno becoming part of the "good side" of the family again, as the children liked to call it.
Your relationship with him was still in the mending process, but at least you could say you were friends again, which seemed to relieve Pepa, one less battle to fight between her siblings, you guessed.
The problem was Julieta.
She was still your favorite sister-in-law and your best friend, without a doubt, but things were starting to get weird for you when you realized that she was slowly becoming your favorite person too. You seemed unable to stop your smile every time you saw her and your heart raced when you heard her laugh.
It was a terribly familiar and terrifying feeling, because you knew that she shouldn't have that effect on you, that you shouldn't feel with her what you once felt with Bruno. And yet you couldn't stop.
As much as you tried to lie to yourself, it was obvious that you were always trying to be with her, whether it was helping her cook or just chatting with her over coffee, it didn't matter, you just wanted to be close to her. You felt bad for a while, but then you started noticing the way she would blush every time you smiled at her or how she would look at you when she thought you weren't paying attention.
You were both playing a dangerous game, but it somehow felt so…natural, like that was the only logical path for you. You didn't expect that to be confirmed by the miracle itself.
It was one afternoon when, a few days after finishing the reconstruction of Casita, you and Julieta were sitting in the kitchen, just talking, you were telling her about the first dress that Mirabel made when Camilo ran in, his eyes full of emotion and fear in equal measure.
"Tías, you have to come quickly" he told you
"What's going on?" Julieta asked, even as you both were already getting up
"You have to see it for yourself"
You and the brunette looked at each other curiously for a second before hurrying after your older nephew. The rest of the family was already there and you only had to look in the same direction to understand the commotion. The candle was back.
Well, not exactly. The candle itself was there, but it was out. Still, you knew what that could mean for your family, you knew what they could get back if they managed to make it shine again. The question was, how?
"Mom, you have to take it" Mirabel said excitedly
"What?"
"Think about it Juli" Pepa agreed "you're the new head of the family, you should be the one to protect the candle now... right?"
"I… I guess"
Julieta looked at you for a moment, and you could see the doubt and anxiety in her eyes, so you just smiled and nodded, hoping that was enough comfort for her. The brunette returned your smile before approaching the candle. Her hands trembled and you did not doubt that memories of when she received her gift, more than 45 years ago, passed through her mind.
You all held your breath as the older triplet's hands carefully took hold of the candle and a current passed through you. It was soft and warm, just like a tickle. You waited a moment, but nothing else happened. You could see the disappointment in the rest of the family, especially the brunette, but they all faked supportive smiles.
"Maybe we need to call-"
"No Juli, we don't need her"
You were a bit surprised by Pepa's tone, but you could understand. Alma hadn't been back since the night you returned to Encanto, taking refuge with the Guzmans ever since. It hurt a little that this distanced Dolores from Mariano, but no one could deny that everyone breathed more peace since she was gone. It didn't seem strange to you that they refused to call her now.
"It's because tía Y/N isn’t close" Antonio said suddenly, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world
"Excuse me?" you blinked
"Abuela's candle was lit because Abuelo loved her" the boy explained.
You all looked at him like he was growing another head, but deep down, you all wanted to know the reasoning behind that little head. After all, the little ones always have the most creative solutions.
"What does that have to do with tía Y/N, Antonio?" Mirabel asked softly
"Tía Y/N loves tía Julieta" he said "the candle has to light if she's around her girlfriend, right?"
You didn't even need Dolores' gift to hear a pin drop, not when the room was deathly silent. You looked at Julieta out of the corner of your eye and you could see that her face was redder than a tomato, and you doubted that you were better. Your heart was racing like crazy, your hands were sweating and you could feel the anxiety building up in you.
How could a five-year-old boy understand better than you the forbidden feelings that had been blooming in you for your sister-in-law? Had you been too obvious? Did the others notice it too? God, you didn't even want to look at Bruno.
"Mami! mami!"
María's voice brought you out of your thoughts and you looked at her worriedly. Your daughter just looked at you in amazement and pointed with her little hand to the place where your attention should be. You hadn't even realized that you had approached Julieta, but now you were facing each other, with the candle between you and a small flame sprouting.
“It can’t be” you heard Isabela whispering while Pepa gasped
The moment you took a step back, the small flame went out. The brunette looked at you for a second before slowly approaching you again, causing the candle to relight. It wasn't a strong, magical glow like the one it had before the whole disaster, but it was a promise that you’d get the miracle back.
Except that neither you nor Julieta wanted to think about what the miracle was asking of you, or what that meant for both of you and your respective families.

Pepa: It’s impossible to make a sentence without using the letter a.
Bruno: Despite your thinking, it is quite possible, yet difficult, to form one without the specific letter. Here’s one more to further disprove your theory.
Julieta: Good one Bruno.
Pepa: Fuck you.

Medication
Contains the following:
Julieta, Suicidal Reader, Overdosing, Pills, Medication, Blood, Cutting, No gender mention.
______________________________________________________________
The world was blurry. You could see the simple shapes around you. A knife, your meds, and blood. Blood everywhere. It was coming from your mouth, your arms, and your legs. You had just overdosed, you were lying on the dinner table of the Casita. It was late. No one would find you like this.. no one to stop you.
Until there was a sharp gasp from the stairs.
you could slightly hear footsteps running toward you, to check on you. You tried to get up, to run from them. But your body wouldn't comply. your eyes were glossy, and almost shut. You could see a simple image of someone.. with a blue night-gown on, and it looked like.. Julieta. Your girlfriend. You could hear her talking, but you couldn't make out the words she was saying.
"Mi amor?! Can you hear me?!"
You could feel your body being lifted up, and sat up-right. "Oh no.. no no no.." You felt something being shoved in your mouth, you couldn't chew it, but your body automatically swallowed it. You choked on it for less then a second, and then your cuts and wounds healed, and you felt better. You still couldn't see, because your eyes were so glossy. The blood stopped flowing from your mouth, but it was still there. "J-julieta..?" she immediately hugged you. "Oh, Mi Amor!" You could hear her sniffling. Her head was nuzzled into your neck, and her breathing was fast, and shallow.
"I-It's okay.. calm d-down.."
Your voice was cracky, so it was hard to form words right. Still, this helped her breathing a smidge. "Mi amor.. I thought you.. you.." She hugged you tighter, she couldn't seem to get the words out of her mouth. She pulled herself back, to look at your face. She put a hand on your cheek, her thumb rubbing it. "..I need to clean you up.." you felt a hand go around your bottom, then your back, lifting you up.
"hmm..? C-could you.. S-say that again..?"
She was already up the stairs. "I said I needed to clean you up, which I do.." Your eyes began to falter. Yes, you weren't overdosed anymore, but it was still late. You were tired. And tired of this bullshit world.
"Everything's gonna be okay.."
When you opened your eyes, you were sitting on a countertop. Specifically a sink countertop. Your arms and legs no longer reeked of blood, and you could see. Julieta was drying you off, since she had used the sink to wash you down. "S-sorry.. I'm sorry.." She lifted her eyes to meet yours. "You did nothing wrong, baby.. But, you need to tell me about things like this.." She picked you up again, and walked towards her bed. She then plopped you down, and she rolled in next to you. "I'm sorry I hadn't noticed sooner.."
"There was nothing to notice.."
Julieta spooned you, her being the big spoon. "close your eyes, my love.." She kissed your hair. "Go to sleep, rest well.." Your eyes slowly began to close. You could feel her warm breath on your hair, the back of your head.
"I love you, Mi amor.."
"I love you too.."

Rest now (Yandere Madrigal family x writing fatigued! reader)
Tumblr media
(sorry for not uploading lately, I just haven't been that sure on what to write, also thank you to @thefieryphoenix for requesting once again!)
The passing couple of days you had only been writing, you were exhausted. But you couldn't stop, you needed to finish this book.
The Madrigal family watched worryingly, as you walked down the stairs. They knew how you had been denying your self care, they really wanted to help you but you would hiss, every time they tried. "Are you ok, mi Amor?" Camilo asked, his voice filled with concern "Yes I'm fine, I already told you that!" You replied, snapping at him. They could tell how you hadn't been getting any sleep at all. Ugh, how those purple bags drooped under your eyes.
All they wanted was for you to take care of yourself, and be in good health. But you didn't want to, you were only focused on your writing and that was it, maybe getting some food or a drink every once in a while as well. You went into the kitchen, quickly grabbing a cup of water. Then returning to your room.
You continued scribbling on your page, (I don't know what they used to write back then, so don't come for me) jotting down your story, like you already had been for the past hours of the day.
Some time had passed, now it was dinner. You did feed yourself and drink, but you never cleaned your self or slept. You felt all the Madrigals stares on you, but you didn't care what they thought, they didn't know how much this meant to you. After you had finished our dinner, you climbed out of your chair, then walking back to your room.
But, you never made it, because you suddenly felt dizzy. You felt, tired. Did Julieta drug the food? Unfortunately for you she had. Your body made a loud thump as you fell onto the floor.
Your eyes slowly opened, your vision was slightly blurry, and you felt dazed. You then heard whispers of the Madrigal family follow. "W-what, where am I?! Let me go!" You demanded, while also thrashing in the ropes, "sorry Amor, but we can't do that." Pepa replied calmly. "Y-you don't understand! I n-need to finish this book!" "stop worrying about that book doll, you need rest" Dolores told you. "N-n-no! No rest! I need to finish it!" you screamed, "you are staying here Estimada/Estimado, whether you like it or not" Julieta said coldly. You gulped.
Suddenly, Julieta came over to you, and shoved a arepa in your mouth. Forcing you to chew. "Rest now" Julieta told you gently, you eyes slowly started to shut, making your world turn black.
(make sure you take care of yourself no matter what!)

Julieta with a fem reader who is frail and sickly and thus always needs to be taken care of.
(Sure!)
Care (Yandere Julieta x frail/sick fem! reader)
Tumblr media
(I honestly don't even know anymore with the gifs, I give up.)
Tw: hoping another stays sick (Sorry wasn't sure how to word it.), unhealthy obsession, yandere themes.
You arm weakly attempted to put the spoon into your mouth, but it only resulted in spilling the soup onto yourself. And the spoon as well, dropped onto the blankets.
Julieta looked worryingly at you, quickly attending to you. "Are you alright mi amor? Let me help you." "Thanks," you barley managed to get out. Giving a smile to her. "Let me go get a change of clothes, don't do anything silly please..." Julieta told you as she headed out the door.
You did as you were told, waiting for Julieta to return. She then helped you change into clean clothes. Also bringing back some food for you to eat.
Julieta put the spoon into your mouth, patiently waiting for you to swollow the soup. She done the same every time, then bringing up a conversation. A mostly concerned one.
"Has my food been helping you, at all?" She asked, "only slightly." You weakly replied. A frown curved onto Julieta's face, "I really hope you get better mi amor." "I hope so too."
Julieta then walked to the kitchen, placing the bowl on the bench beside her. She then gave a smile, she honestly didn't mind taking care of you. She loved feeding you, helping you dress. Julieta hoped you stayed like this, forever...
(Sorry, kind of needed to add some yandere to it.)

𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑽𝒐𝒊𝒄𝒆.
𝐈𝐍 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐂𝐇 ; (𝘠/𝘕) was born deaf, one day, she wished that she could listen to a story. Well, Momma 𝐽𝑢𝑙𝑖𝑒𝑡𝑎 is there to help her baby.
ꗰ 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞 ; Happy (very late!!!) Mother's day, everyone -!

(Y/N) was born deaf, though her actions are not silent as her hearing. She's an energetic child, even though the other children are making sure to distance themselves from her.
She didn't mind it at first, but whenever she's having a story-telling class or story time. She'd run away from school then go back to casita as fast as she can, now she's too scared to be left out all alone in cold.
And now, she's busy watching her dearest Mama giving her meals to people as usual, until the town's healer notices her presence.
“(Y/N), Amor, aren't you're suppose to be in school?” she asks in her motherly tone signs or that's what (Y/N) always know, Julieta is making sure not to make her daughter nervous.
“I don't want to...” (Y/N) signs back with dissapointment, enough for Julieta to understand her. The healer soften her gaze then pick her up, “It's okay, i'll tell Camilo to send you your permission letter.” she signs as she give her daughter a delicious arepa.
(Y/N) felt bad for skipping her class almost everyday, but the loneliness keep overwhelming her tiny soul as if it's want to pull her apart slowly and painfully.
“Wait here, i'll be finish in no time.”
With that, Julieta put her daughter down then let (Y/N) sit on a chair while watching her mother helping people who got injured.
She can see all people's lips are moving, though, there is no single sound can be heard by her. And that almost make her crazy. Thanks to Julieta, who's always there for her. Every single time.
Even without signs, she can read from people's lips. So, she knew that if some people are talking some bad things about her. But again, she didn't mind about it. Atleast she couldn't hear what they say.
⊰᯽⊱┈──╌❊╌──┈⊰᯽⊱
The next graceful day, (Y/N) is busy watering some flowers that Isabela just grow. She loved to see the flowers bloom, so she kept them fresh and beautiful even though her eldest sister could grow them again.
She's going to surprise her mother since it's mother's day, so she decided to give Julieta something precious.
“Psst, hey guys - look! It's the deaf girl.” one of the kids whispers to their friends, “should we give her some hearing to help her?” their cackles rang to their ears.
“Definitely, let's give her some real hearing!” the leader of the group stands as he began to walked towards (Y/N) who's still busy watering her sister's flowers.
“Hey, deaf girl!” the leader shouts while throwing her some tiny rocks, the young Madrigal turned around then met one of her classmates. She smiles at first then wave shyly.
Though her smiles falter when she sees their devil smirks, she knew that this is not a good greeting or positive talks. But— just bullying.
Before she can run away, the boys grab her arms then bring her to somewhere else, somewhere far from the casita. She kept struggling to free herself from their grasp as best as she can, but it's no use since they're stronger than her.
“no one can hear you if you scream, stupid. Now let us help you to get your hearing back.” the leader pulls her hair as the kids playfully kick her stomach making her body fall to the ground.
She's hiding her screams as best as she can since they forgot that Dolores could literally hear anything, even from miles away. She felt so hopeless when they kept bullying her.
Though, her mouth is kept shut - her hearings are none but silence, then her soul are broken to pieces. For god's sake, she couldn't move a muscle. Her feet were stuck to the ground in fear.
One of the kids grabbed her by the shirt and punched her in the face. “Hey! I told you just to beat her somewhere else but not her face!” “Oops! Sorry, but her face is making me irritated more and more!”
The deaf Madrigal just stood there, letting the kids take all their selfish feelings out on her as her began nose bleed. (Y/N)'s head started pounding insanely, her legs are shaking.
Before she could stand up again, she felt something hard hit her stomach then everything began to turn black.
⊰᯽⊱┈──╌❊╌──┈⊰᯽⊱
(Y/N) felt a pair of hands are holding her cut ones warmly, slowly, she opened her eyes as she took the bright of the light for her sight again. She turned her head and found her dearest mother was sitting next to her as her tears keep falling.
The little Madrigal hold her mother's hand with the other one to make sure that she's now safe, Julieta gasps when her daughter is awake, she carefully cupped her face to see all the bruises and cuts her daughter received from — that's bad, she doesn't know who did this horrible things to her daughter.
Julieta's hands keep trembling as she signs, “I was so worried when Dolores found you and bring you home, what happened to you? Who hurt you, Amor?”
(Y/N) swears she feels like she could her hear sobbing quitely, so she signs back, “Just my classmates, they hated me because i'm deaf. But don't worry, because (Y/N) is now with Mama—” The young Madrigal hissed when her fresh cuts began to open more.
Panic started to crept all over her body, Julieta take her bunuelos and shoves it to her daughter's mouth immediately. Watching her munching it to taste to wonderful flavor then swallow it with full satisfaction.
(Y/N)'s wounds began to close, her bruises started to fade, leaving some dirts all over her clothes and some on her face. The town's healer sighs in relief when her daughter is now healed.
“I'm sorry i wasn't there for you, it must be so hurt for you to take those ... Hurtful hits from your classmates. I'll tell your tia Pepa to take care of them, let's go wash you up mi bebe.”
Before she could help (Y/N) to stand, her daughter stops her immediately. “Mama, thank you for everything - thank you for loving me, taking care of me and ... I'm so lucky to be your daughter.”
A smile started to form on their own faces, as Julieta let her daughter continue, “You are my saint in this world, i may couldn't hear you, but i can feel you. I—...”
Julieta soften her gaze when (Y/N) is struggling to continue, but then, “I— I lo.. Love you, Mama!” heavens, did Julieta flinches to her daughter's voice? Yes, she speaks for the first time.
The three precious word that Julieta had been waiting to hear from her baby.
She never thought that (Y/N) would speak since she's very insecure about it. But now, this is quite surprising.
Julieta thought she's done crying, but the tears started to form again as she pulled her daughter close to her embrace. Not caring if (Y/N)'s dirty clothes will leave some dirts on hers too, all she cared is her daughter, and that's enough for her.
“Happy— ... M-mother's day, M.. Maa!”
Julieta kiss her forehead, as she spoke in her motherly tone, and keep kissing her daughter's face. (Y/N) isn't complaining though, she loves the kisses from her dearest mother.
(Y/N) swear that she could hear an angelic voice, as she stare at Julieta in those gleaming eyes. “I love you too, mi preciosa - Thank you for the lovely surprise.”
Maybe pulling a little prank to the other Madrigals wouldn't be heard that (Y/N) magically can hear everything now.
Julieta is going to have so much fun with (Y/N), She's not going to waste the mother's day.

Tumblr media
You stood at the kitchen counter, eating the delicious empanadas your girlfriend had made for dinner. Your muscles ached from a long day at work and you were exhausted so this was just what you needed. A plate of them had been left for you, along with a note that said “For Y/N” written in cursive with a heart next to it. You stared at the intricate details on the note as you ate, like Julieta’s handwriting and the way she wrote her cursive r’s so dramatically and large. It was elegant looking really. And the way she wrote your name made you a little weak in the knees if you were being honest. It always made you really happy when she did little things for you like this. It was how she showed her love.
The delicious flavors spread throughout your mouth as you let out a contented sigh. A few cuts and bruises you had received during the day had faded, the pain subsiding and the tenderness gradually going away. Julieta wasn’t present in the kitchen with you as you ate. To be fair, you had gotten home really late and figured that the woman must’ve gone to sleep. The only thing accompanying you as you ate was the soft breeze and the moonlight that shone through the kitchen window.
As you took the last bite of your empanada, you heard footsteps coming towards the kitchen. You cocked an eyebrow and peeked over to where the steps were coming from until they reached the kitchen. Of course, it was Julieta. She walked in, and her tired expression turned into one that was happy and cheerful. It was so cute how her eyes lit up at the sight of you.
“Oh my gosh, home already?” the woman asked, looking at her wrist and pretending to look at the time as she walked over to you.
“Only home for you Juli” you said, swallowing the last bite of the food you had in your mouth.
The woman chuckled as she brought her face close to yours and greeted you with a kiss. After she pulled away, she paused, touching foreheads with you as she took your hands.
“Oh how I’ve missed you” she said as she stroked your cheek “Life is quite boring without you here.”
You rolled your eyes lovingly as you gave her hand a small squeeze in return “Let’s do something fun then… as a celebration since I’m back home.”
“And what would that be?”
“Oh… I don’t know…” you responded “Maybe….”
As you said this, you let go of the women and scurried over to the cabinet and took out a bottle of tequila.
“How about a strip tease?!?” you said as you ran back over to her and shook the bottle in her face.
“Y/N, no!” she exlaimed “We cant do a… strip tease in my house! We could get caught!” the woman told you, whisper yelling “Also, you know I don’t drink! I don’t like how you could get drunk and forget everything! Plus, tequila has the worst hangovers!!!”
“Come on Juli please?” you begged, frowning “A few shots won’t hurt! Live a little!”
“But I have to cook breakfast tomorrow morning!”
“So? Everyone here is grown enough to do it themselves. If anything Felix can cook. He’s a natural.”
The woman rolled her eyes as she put her hands up in surrender “Okay okay fine. Just this once. You’re lucky I’m feeling rebellious.”
“Yay!” you cheered as you grabbed her by her apron and pulled her in, kissing her passionately. You broke the kiss quickly, wanting to tease her by biting her lip as you pulled away.
“That’s my girl” you told her with an innocent smile.
You noticed how her breath hitched and how she kept you close. Gosh, this was really gonna get her going now.
Acting as if you had done nothing, you walked over to the table and Julieta grabbed two shot glasses. You sat down on one side and Julieta sat down opposite of you, right in front. You popped the bottle open and poured the alcohol into both shot glasses, filling them up to the top.
“So…” Julieta began, tapping her finger on the table nervously “How are we gonna do this?”
You smirked as your eyes trailed away from the drinks and onto the women. Her eye bags were heavy, the purple color being very prominent under her eyes despite her dark skin. Her hair was a little messy too, some stray hairs poking out of her signature loose bun and the way she slouched definitely showed how today had worn her out. This was definitely gonna help relax her. A lot.
“Basically, we’re going to ask each other questions about ourselves and if one of us gets it wrong, we take off a piece of clothing. Whoever is completely naked first loses and is at the winner’s utter disposal.”
“Oh wow… that sounds-“
“Fun right?” you cut her off “The rules are: no lying about your answers, you HAVE to take your clothes off and it can literally be anything, the questions can’t be too hard, and its up to the winner to what we do after this.”
Julieta smirked “Ah, so that’s why you asked to play this huh? You’re good.”
“Oh I know” you said, waving your hand as if it was nothing “I get that a lot.”
Setting the bottle down, you tell Julieta to start.
“Okay so, what’s my favorite color?” Julieta asks.
“Easy” you respond “Blue.”
Julieta bows her head in a ‘well done’ motion.
“What’s my favorite body part of yours?” you ask, crossing your arms.
Julieta scoffs “It’s my lips” she says “I know you can’t get enough of them.”
You cock an eyebrow and think of a funny way to tease her so you ask “Which ones?”
The second the question triggered in Julieta’s mind, she started blushing uncontrollably, covering her face and hiding it in her hands.
“You know, I really hate you sometimes!”
You laugh “So what’s your answer?”
She looks up at you, only allowing her eyes to show as her hands cover her blushing face.
“Both.”
“Good girl. You know me too well.”
“Ok so…” Julieta shifts in her seat, lifting her head back up in an attempt to boost her confidence “What did I make last night for dinner?”
She did not. She was really doing this. She knew your memory was terrible when it came to things like this. She watched your face of cockiness turn into one of shock with a hint of fear.
“No no no” you put a finger up before the woman could speak again “I know this one. It was uh-”
You continued racking your brain for an answer but you truly had no idea. Deciding to take a wild guess, you said aborrajado.
“Wrong” the woman said “Aborrajado is way too annoying to make. I don’t have enough time for that!”
You sighed “Didn’t think I’d be losing this early into the game, and yet here we are.”
You sighed in defeat and took the shot of tequila that stood in front of you. Grabbing it, you felt excitement and fear rush through you at the thought of what tonight could bring. Picking up the glass carefully, you said “Bottoms up” as you raised the glass towards the woman and brought it to your lips, swallowing the bitter liquid.
Your face made a disgusted expression due to the strong flavor of the drink.
“So bitter!” you said, your face filled with disgust as you stuck your tongue out.
Julieta couldn’t help but laugh at the sight. She thought you were so adorable, losing at your own game.
Your eyes started to get really watery as you felt the flavors of the drink trickle up your nose and into your brain.
Standing up, you looked at yourself and decided what to take off first. You had a white shirt that revealed your shoulders along with a light yellow skirt that went just below your ankles. You ultimately decided to take the skirt off because you weren’t going to let go of your pride.
Sliding the skirt down, you practically felt Julieta’s eyes bearing into your body, hungry for you but not hungry enough to do anything. Or should you say tipsy enough to do anything. You purposely let the skirt pool at your feet and you stepped out of it slowly and sat back down in your chair.
“My eyes are up here you know. At least try to make it obvious that you aren’t trying to look under the table.”
“I-I’m not trying anything. Just give me a question so we could continue this.
Julieta shifted in her seat before she folded her hands and waited for the next question. You could sense the nervous excitement in her, it was so… exhilarating. You wanted to make her get the next question wrong, but you wanted to do it fair and square. Tapping your chin as you thought of another question, you looked over at the plants that hung from the ceiling and you realized how many there really were. This made you flashback to when the two of you first met. As if a lightbulb had gone off in your head, you thought of the perfect question that would cause her doom to be certain. You grinned mischievously and tucked a strand of hair behind your ear as you readied yourself to ask the question.
“You won’t get this one righ-”
“Yes I will” she cut you off.
“No you won’t.”
“We’ll see about that.”
Julieta had a face of determination and ambition. The woman’s eyebrows were furrowed and she mentally prepared herself for whatever question you were going to ask her.
“What was the first thing I ever said to you?” you asked. She froze. Her face of determination changed to one of uncertainty and panic.
“No” she said, putting a hand up “I know this one… I swear I do.”
“Do you really?” you asked as you crossed your arms.
“Ah!” the woman blurted out, signifying she knew the answer to your question.
“It was, and I quote ‘Hola Señorita, could you heal my finger? I think its broken’ you can’t tell me I’m wrong.”
“You’re wrong.”
“What? I could’ve sworn that was it!”
“The first thing I ever said to you was ‘Hola Señorita Julieta! You may not know me, but I think you look beautiful today’ I can’t believe you don’t remember!” you exclaimed, putting a hand over your heart as if you were hurt.
“I-I’m sorry for not remembering! It doesn’t make me love you any less!” the woman said, voice filled with worry as she stood up from her chair and leaned over the table as she ran her hands through her hair. She felt guilty as the memory of the event you had just described to her came back.
You smiled. “I’m only kidding Juli. Its okay, really.”
“It is?”
“Yeah… because now that means you have to take your clothes off.”
Her face of worry changed to one of a ‘really’ look as she rolled her eyes. She scoffed and shook her head as she looked down at the ground before looking back up at you.
“You’re terrible, you know that?” Julieta told you as she tried to hide her smile.
“Yeah” you shrugged, smiling “I get that a lot too.”
You then carefully pushed the filled shot glass to Julieta’s side of the table.
“Take this before you choose. It may help a little.”
“Yeah, yeah” she scoffed and took the shot with no hesitation. Her eye twitched a little as the flavor of the drink registered in her mouth, but other than that, it didn’t seem to affect her much. She wasn’t an alcohol drinker, but she had her fair share of experiences. She knew how to keep a straight face in serious situations. Especially when it involved your hand, her, and family dinner.
“Wha- How do you not have any reaction to that!”
“What can I say? I’ve had to deal with you and your hand on several occasions that include my family. If you get what I mean.”
A hard blush formed on your cheeks as you chuckled nervously.
“Yeah… sorry about that.”
“Are you really though?” she responded.
You could only laugh and chuckle in response “You know I’m not.”
Julieta tried to ignore what you said and she looked down at herself, trying to decide what to take off first. She then put her hands on her head and removed the clip that held her hair up, allowing her brown locks stained with more than a few white strands to fall past her shoulders.
“Wha- No that’s cheating!” you stood up in protest “I said clothes! Taking off a clip doesn’t count as taking clothes off!”
The woman only looked at you and shrugged.
“It does count though. I feel almost naked with my hair down.”
“Key word, almost. But fine, I’ll let you pass this once, you’re lucky I’m nice.”
Your girlfriend gasped “And what shall I ever do if you weren’t!” she put her hand over her mouth and raised her eyebrows to act as if she had any fear.
Getting up, she made her way over to you and walked behind you, placing her hands on your shoulders as she snaked her tiny hands on them. Coming close to you, she pressed her body up against yours and you felt every curve of her body on the back of yours. A hot sting in your face and abdomen formed simultaneously.
“Don’t forget this is my house cariño. I make the rules.”
You felt her hot breath on your neck and her lips move on your ear as she spoke. She then left a soft kiss on your jaw, just under your ear as she pulled away and kept eye contact with you until she sat down again. You were only left to watch as she began to leave you sexually frustrated.
“Now, where were we?”
“Y-your turn” you managed to say, sitting down in your chair. Your entire demeanor changed from one moment to the next. Now Julieta was being the bold one.
“Oh right..” she said, biting her lip as she scanned your features. Your cheeks were still tinted red and you slouched as your arms hung at your sides.
“My question for you now is…” she tapped her chin as she pondered on her next question for you.
You took this as an opportunity to examine the woman’s features. You two had only gone for a few rounds but from the looks of it, the alcohol had already begun to take effect. Or was it because she was still fully sober and was feeling bold? Whatever it was, it was interesting and kind of turned you on. Julieta’s cheeks were tinted pink, her eyes were half closed and her brown eyes were now glossy and kept looking for excuses to look under the table. Had one shot really given her this much courage? She started twiddling her thumbs as she licked her lips and noticed your gaze.
“I can see you’re staring at me you know” the woman batted her eyes innocently “What do you say we just forget about this and go do something more interesting?”
As she said this, she stood up and started walking over to you, almost falling in the process. After saving herself and telling you she was okay, she continued to walk around the table and towards you but her hip bumped it and she fell.
“Ay dios mio!” Julieta exclaimed as her head made contact with the cold, hard floor.
You stood up and kneeled down to your girlfriend “Oh my god mi amor are you okay?” you asked worriedly, cupping her face and using the other hand to rub her forehead that now matched the color of her cheeks.
You pretended not to notice when her eyes darted to your naked legs and your gray underwear that covered the thing she was longing for the entire week. Seriously, you kept her waiting a lot and it was annoying sometimes! She just felt bad asking so she just let it happen naturally.
The poor woman could only nod. She was embarrassed that you just watched her land face first into the ground. She usually isn’t the one to be accident prone. That was your job.
“Are you hurt?” you asked.
She shook her head “My forehead does a little. Can you kiss it to make it feel better?” she asked, seriously.
You were surprised she had no shame because she had literally just fallen in front of you. You were sure that if she was sober, her cheeks would be red from embarrassment, not from the alcohol she had been drinking.
You smiled and nodded “Sure my love. Just stand up for me” you told her, getting up from your kneeling position and putting your hand out for her to grab so she could get up.
Julieta grabbed your hand softly, her fingers wrapping around your hand gracefully and gripping it. You got yourself ready to pull her up when you looked at her face. There was a hint of mischief and naughtiness in it but when you noticed it was too late. She suddenly brought her other hand in and took ahold of your wrist, bringing you down with her. You should’ve known what she was going to do when she had those eyebrows raised and a smile that was hidden by her adorable pout.
A yelp showed your surprise when Julieta pulled you down and brought you on top of her.
You were now straddling her, her body now trapped under your legs and your arms placed beside her head, propping your body up. Your hair fell in front of your eyes and tickled Julieta’s neck. Thank god it was there because it helped cover your flustered face. You couldn’t forget that you were half naked on top of her, in the middle of the night, in somewhere that wasn’t her bedroom and that where you could get caught.
You didn’t know if it was the alcohol or you, but you brought your face down and kissed her. The kiss began soft, but soon started becoming sloppy as she grabbed you by the collar of your shirt and pulled you in even closer. She began sitting up as she kissed you, keeping you close enough so that she could do whatever she wanted. She then pulled away for a moment and gently pushed you off her until you were on your knees.
The woman bit her lip as she let go of your collar and watched the sight before her. There you kneeled, your hair down and all messy, in your underwear that slightly began to fall on one side, exposing your hip, and your thirsty face that begged her to absolutely ruin you. You watched her hungry eyes darting all over your body, wondering what kind of lewd thoughts crossed her mind.
She then came close to you and whispered the phrase that you were expecting but couldn’t be more excited to obey.
“Sit on the table and take your shirt off.”
You couldn’t help but still be shocked by this though. She was just so sweet and soft a second ago.
Listening to her, you quickly took your shirt off and threw it to the side. You made sure to throw it next to your skirt to show Julieta how much you had really taken off. From the look on her face, your trick had worked. You were now only left in your bra and underwear. Her eyes followed your every move until you sat on the table, your legs closed tightly because you felt so vulnerable. That’s the excuse you kept using anyway.
Julieta then walked up to you and placed her hands on both sides of your body. You sat there, frozen in place, as you held your legs closed, eyes down, and arms covering your exposed body. Her soft fingertips grazed your thighs and you shivered under her gentle touch. Her intentions were good but felt as if they were going to become aggressive at any moment. She brought herself close to your ear and her lips grazed them before she spoke. Her warm breath on your neck drove you insane and the way she pulled on the hem of your underwear made your legs tremble.
“You’re going to really enjoy this, darling.”
The second she said this, you found your heart beating so fast and a wave of fear washed over you. But it was the good kind of fear, the one that you wanted to feel. Then Julieta pulled away slightly as she looked you in the eyes. That gaze of hers wanted to destroy you so badly. The eye contact you made created tension so thick it could be cut with a knife and those big brown eyes that looked back at you were so out of it but were so sober at the same time. Had alcohol given her this much courage? If it did, then she should definitely drink it more often.
Her cheeks were rosy pink due to the effects of the alcohol and her thoughts. Her apron was half untied as well, the straps that tied it together falling off the side of her shoulder a bit. Her gorgeous hair framed her face perfectly, a few strands going over her eyes and cheeks which made her seem a lot more intimidating. And god did you like it.
You watched her eyes flick to your neck before she looked up at you one last time. She then slipped her fingers under the hem of your underwear as she kissed your neck. The sounds of her kisses filled the room and you turned your head away from her desperately, to allow yourself to enjoy the kisses she was giving you, but also because you knew what she was going to say next.
“These right here” she pulled at your underwear again “I want them off.”
You turned to look at her once more before she got down on her knees. Your legs were still closed and you were scared to open them because you knew what would be waiting for you when you did. You felt really damp down there, and you didn’t want her seeing it. Especially since she was drunk, she had no filter and you knew she wasn’t going to stop, and neither were you.
“Julieta… I think that we should uh- maybe not get too ahead of ourselves” you said, nervously.
You wanted this, but you were in the middle of a kitchen and you weren’t about to fuck your girlfriend on a dining table, that just wasn’t going to work and it was too weird anyway. You guys could get caught!
The woman respected your wishes in her drunken state but that didn’t stop her completely. She pulled your underwear down a little and you shivered at the exposure to the cold air and she kissed your exposed hip. Her lips were so soft, they felt like a baby’s. Her hands were soft as well and small so the way that they gripped your knees and pulled your legs open surprised you.
“Relax mi vida, I’m only going to tease you a little” the woman whispered, voice filled with mischief.
You used your hands to hold yourself up as Julieta held your legs open with her hands. She gently caressed your knees with her thumb as she got closer and closer to your crotch. The closer she got to you, the more nervous and aroused you became. You bit your lip when you felt her hot breath on your inner thigh. She then came even closer and left a soft kiss on it, taking agonizingly long to pull away because she knew how it would get you. She pulled away for a moment, but only to go to another spot on your leg to kiss. This time, she was even closer to your crotch, her lips brushing over where your underwear covered the thing that would bring you the utmost pleasure but absolutely ruin you. By this point, you were blushing so hard and breathing so loud that you could probably be heard from outside the kitchen. Your heart was beating so fast and you let out irregular breaths and tried your best not to whimper at all. The only thing you could do was stare at the family tree that stood in front of you as Julieta did this. A terrible choice sure, but you had to look at something other than her if you didn’t wanna finish the job before she did.
She pulled away and stood up, her gaze piercing through your soul. She grabbed your hand gently and kissed the inside of your palm as she placed your hand on her cheek to cup. She smiled at you innocently, biting her lip as she dragged her finger down your arm before giving you yet another command.
“No need to be nervous. Lay down for me, mi amor.”
Without hesitation, you laid down and obliged to Julieta’s wishes. When your back made contact with the cold wooden table, you got chills and shivered a little. Goosebumps formed all along your arms and legs simultaneously. The way your heart beat in your chest in that very moment had never and will never be matched again and the mix of fear and excitement you felt was so beyond anything you had ever dreamed of. The image of the cream colored ceiling was blocked from your view when Julieta face popped into view as she made herself comfortable by sitting on you, straddling your body between her legs. She sat on top of you, her thighs closing in on your body. You felt your face heating up in embarrassment because you allowed yourself to get into this position without a fight. But truthfully, you didn’t want to fight at all.
Julieta then tucked a stray hair away from your face as she studied your features. That focused look on her face really had you thinking if she was still somewhat sober. The way her brown eyes studied you was with such curiosity and wonder as they quickly flicked from each of the features on your face. She squinted slightly and the wrinkles around her eyes began to show and her gray hair glimmered in the candle lit room as it fell past her shoulders because she was looking down at you. She cocked an eyebrow, her head turning slightly as she held a small smirk. Her face was littered with tiny freckles and her cheeks were so pink, you almost didn’t notice the way her entire demeanor changed yet again as she studied you. Her lips looked so soft and pink, you would move mountains and start a war if it meant you could kiss them again. They were so perfectly framed and plump, almost as if they were shaped like a heart.
“Ay Y/N, you know you’re the only one that can get me like this you know.”
Her soft voice echoed in your ears and you felt such a strong sense of euphoria wash over you. All you could think about was her and how much you really treasured her. You continued studying her as well, watching anyplace her hands went as well as where those brown eyes darted to. The woman’s shiny earrings pulled you out of your trance because they gleamed as she leaned down to kiss you.
You closed your eyes as your lips met hers and it felt like fireworks. They were so incredibly soft and it felt like you were kissing the fluffiest pillow. She tasted like sweet honey and she swiftly brought her hand up to caress your cheek gently. You kissed her back right away untied her apron with total ease. The woman then took it off and tossed it to the free space above your head.
You placed your hands on her face, bringing her even closer as you felt your hands sink into her cheeks like they were balls of cotton. Her scent was so intoxicating, the sweet aroma of vanilla filling your nose, making you relax instantly.
You felt her smile into the kiss as she grabbed your hands and placed them both on her hips as you two continued to kiss.
“What’s up with you today?” you jokingly asked as you smiled at the woman.
“Nothing…. just feeling a little extra needy today….Something wrong with that?” the woman responded flirtatiously, pausing to talk between each kiss.
“What’s making you so excited then? Is it the alcohol?”
All the woman could do was nod as she pulled away and started kissing your neck.
“You know it is.”
You smiled smugly “Well then maybe you should drink more often” you say.
After your statement you feel a light bite on your collarbone, making you yelp.
“Not happening” she says.
“Please?!?!?!” you ask “You don’t have to think before you act when you’re this way… it’s so free!” you argue.
“I’ll consider it…” she starts “just let me have my way with you for a little.”
“Sure…” you say “And what would you consider that to be?” you ask curiously, playing with the hem of her shirt.
“Let’s finish this” Julieta says as she grabs something from behind your head and waves it in front of you. It’s the bottle of tequila. And it’s only half empty.
Your eyes light up as you sit up and you now have the woman on your lap.
“Really?!?!” you ask, shocked.
“Mhm. Go big or go home right?”
“Wow! Where did my sweet Julieta go?” you ask “You’re such a rebel.”
The woman only scoffs and smirks as she pours a glass of the drink for the both of you. It took a whole 2 hours of talking about people in town, to responsibilities, to the future, to finish half of the 25 ounce bottle. By the end of this, the both of you were totally buzzed, sharing one last sloppy kiss before you laid back down on the table. Julieta joined you, finding a comfortable spot on your chest and “resting” her head there. Her organized hair was now messy and her stray hair tickled your chin as she slipped her hand in yours and interlocked fingers with you. Her head felt like a soft, light cloud resting on your chest and her breathing became calmer and calmer by the minute.
Like you, her eyes were half open and your words became more scattered as well as your movements. Your eyelids began to feel heavy as the way you stroked her soft hand slowed down, your bodies starting to shut down for the night. You two had matching red faces and hickeys all over your necks, leaving those worries for your future selves. As the night crept up on you both you had one last conversation until the night melted all of your worries away.
“Juli?” you asked.
“…Yes Y/N?” the woman says, barely mustering a response.
“You think it’s okay that we did all this?”
“Did… what?” she shakes her head, trying her best not to fall asleep right there.
“You know” you start “Do a whole drinking game and almost have sex in your kitchen?”
She shrugs “Whatever. I’m too drunk right now to worry anyway.”
“Honestly… you’re right…” you tell her as you bring her hand to your lips and softly kiss her knuckles that were battered from years of work. Their roughness gave you a sense of how much she really needed to do this. To just let loose.
“Was this….what…. one shot really did to us?” the woman asks, her eyes now closed as she buried her face into your neck.
“Yeah…” you respond “Maybe we shouldn’t drink for a while.”
“Yeah… until next time” she says.
“Yeah…. until next time” you repeat.
“Juli?” you say again.
“Yes Y/N?”
“Do you remember who won the alcohol game we played earlier?”
“Mmmm no one… we both lost.”
“Oh okay..” you respond.
“Juli?” you ask for the last time.
“Yes Y/N? What is it now?” the poor woman was practically asleep at this point.
“I love you” you say.
“I love you more mi vida” Julieta says, concluding her statement by giving you a small kiss on your jaw.
When she knew you had no further questions, the worn out woman allowed herself to drift away into dreamland. Soon after, you heard the soft snores of your love on your chest as her breathing synchronized with yours. She was your ultimate treasure, a shining diamond in a sea of rocks. Her long eyelashes tickled her rosy cheeks as she slept with a content smile on her face. The way she was curled against you was the sweetest sight you could ever imagine. Sensing that the room was a little cold, you grabbed her apron and covered her with it, tucking it under her neck and making sure it covered her body. Although you were the almost naked one here, you felt warm because of her. The sight of her alone made you feel all fuzzy inside. You tucked her hair behind her ear once more before you closed your eyes and smiled at the thought of what another day with Julieta Madrigal might bring.
Her family was going to wake up to something interesting tomorrow morning, and god did you two have a lot of explaining to do. From the “one shot” game to the hangovers, were you guys even gonna remember anything?
‘Only one way to find out. And that was to wait until tomorrow’ you thought, finally allowing yourself to doze off, only to dream of the amazing woman that had made reality better then your dreams could ever be.

Mi Anhelo Por Ti
Tumblr media
julieta madrigal x fem!reader
tw: topics and scenes of physical abuse
the sounds of wet mud and breaking twigs beneath your feet seemed to be muted by your increased heartbeat. the stinging pain that arose in your ankles only increased, but that didn’t stop you from running how you have been for almost a day. it looked like you just came from war. dirt covered your body along with dried blood and bruises.
“i have to keep going,” you thought to yourself.
you were unfamiliar with your surroundings and extremely tired. the heavy bag you carried only added to the exhaustion. this is the moment you’ve been waiting for. the second you stepped out of that house had felt like a weight was lifted off of your chest. your now ex-husband would miss you, but you sure as hell wouldn’t miss him.
you saw a large structure in the distance between the trees with lights. where there’s lights, there’s people, where there’s people, there’s-
“a town?”
you began to slow down in an attempt to catch your breath. the sun had been almost fully submerged by the darkness and you knew you couldn’t stay the night in the forest again. thankfully, the structure you saw wasn’t too far of a walk.
as you exited the forest, you were welcomed by many bright lights and colorful buildings. the people seemed to be busy with their own thing, some selling food and clothes. the aroma of arepas and various other foods filled your nose. you were so caught up in running you didn’t realize you were hungry.
then you realized all of it. the pain in your ankles, the blood running down from your lip down your neck, the screaming headache and urge to pass out. and that’s exactly what happened. you’d been running for so long nonstop without any source of energy- of course you’d pass out.
———————————————————————
“ay, isa! go check if the arepas are done warming up.”
you’d woken up to a sort of warmth and someone touching you. your eyes could hardly open, but when they did the first thing you saw was a beautiful woman above you. she seemed surprised that you’d woken up but continued what she was doing.
you winced as the warm, damp cloth gently rubbed against your wounds. your bruises ached and you felt sick. the other seemed worried from the wincing and put down the cloth.
“are you okay, hon?”
“where am i?”
noticing you were laid on a bed, you sat up carefully and looked around. the room was painted with little animals and the alphabet, along with what seemed to be different types of fabric laying around. a couple candles were lit on a nightstand by the door to give some light.
“i suppose you deserve an explanation. this town is Encanto. i’m julieta madrigal, and you’re in the madrigal house.”
a confused expression formed on your face.
“are.. you not from here?”
“lo siento, no. i arrived from a couple towns over. i’m y/n y/l/n.”
the older woman appeared to be surprised. she took a guess what was town you were talking about and had no idea why you would leave. she realized it wasn’t exactly her place to know, and then someone else walked into the room.
an obvious younger girl who looked to be in her twenties. she carried a plate with multiple arepas and handed it to julieta.
“thank you isa.”
“no problem, mama.”
the girl examined you with an intrigued expression on her face. she was dressed with a flower dress and her hair was beautifully done. she left the room to let her mother continue what she was doing with a sigh.
“who was that?”
“that’s my daughter, isabela. she’s actually the one who found you lying on the road.”
you suddenly remembered what had happened. you ran away from..him, and ended up here in Encanto. it was such a tiring journey due to all the running and adrenaline from escaping.
your stomach made several noises as you held it in embarrassment. julieta formed a smile and let out a slight chuckle, putting an arepa up to your lips.
“here, eat it.”
you took a bite and a burst of flavor entered you mouth. you quickly finished the arepa as you watched your several wounds heal. what was this? magic? it was something you didn’t know about due to being closed off for so long. you didn’t question it since the relief of feeling better washed over you.
you suddenly took the woman’s hand in yours which caused her eyes to widen a bit, a soft pink blush covered her cheeks.
“gracias. i really appreciate your kindness.”
“ah, it’s nothing. i do this on the daily.”
a deep voice called julieta’s name. it sounded angered and stern, causing her to jump. with her hand still attached to yours she squeezed it gently. it was a habit of hers when nervous.
“i’m sorry- i’ve got a few things to take care of tonight. mama said earlier you’re able to stay the night and we’ll continue with what to do in the morning.”
she got up, brushing off her dress. you took this as an opportunity to examine her better. she had glowing tan-skin and her figure was fairly average. you could tell she was shorter than most and the way she walked was elegant. she made her way to the door and spoke before closing it.
“welcome to encanto.”
the door closed and you were left on the bed with the few arepas still on the plate. you quickly finished them as you let out a sigh laying back down. you were very tired and relieved to finally feel a bed beneath you. you closed your eyes and began to fall asleep.

No cure (Julieta x Reader)
Tumblr media
for nonie, hope you like it
_________________________
“Mom? Please answer me…I’m sorry. I didn’t want this to happen”
“Julieta, please…we need you, you can’t leave Bruno and I alone”
“Mija, your family misses you, your daughters need you, don’t leave us”
She could hear the voices in her room, she could feel her sister’s rain on her, her daughters hugging her, she could see the blurry form of her mother in front of her and her niece crying some steps behind. But that didn’t matter to her. They all knew why she was in that state. They knew it was their fault.
"I can't go on like this anymore" you had written "I love you, but I can't keep living in fear of not waking up again. I'm sorry"
And the rest of your letter had been erased due to her tears. The edges of it were torn and wrinkled, from the strength with which she clung to that piece of paper every night, as if her life depended on it, as if she could pull you out of the ink. It was painful, but it was the last thing that was left of you.
There were too many things she would regret for the rest of her life, no matter how short or how long that was, but allowing her daughters to cross so many lines with you, letting things get out of hand and not protecting you when she had to, was by far what weighed the most on her.
It came as no surprise to anyone that Isabela was cold and sharp with you, of her three daughters, she was the one who had been most mad at her when she divorced Agustín and the first to yell at her when she announced that she was dating someone else.
Julieta had tried to be understanding and patient with her, waiting for her daughter to have time to process everything, something you did too, which is why you hadn't introduced yourself to the family until much later. You wanted to respect her daughters, something that none of the three wanted to do with you.
Surprisingly, Luisa was always the nicest to you. She wasn't really close to you, but she would at least smile at you a bit and talk to you politely, though she never really let you get close to her. Mirabel wasn't rude either, but it was terribly obvious that she didn't want you there either.
She was always cold with you, she didn't answer you when you spoke to her, she left the room as soon as you entered and her characteristic friendly smile was never directed towards you. She never said it out loud, but both you and her mother knew that she shared the same thought as her older sister: get out of here.
And then there was Isabela.
From the first moment you set foot in Casita, the young woman made it her mission to make your life a hell. She was always making comments about your appearance, your body, your usefulness (which was none in her opinion), something that Julieta knew were your worst insecurities. She was always rude when she talked to you, she took every opportunity she got to remind you that you didn't belong in the family, that you would never be worthy of her mother.
Your girlfriend was always trying to calm things down, to reassure you that it was just a phase, that she loved you, that she wanted you by her side, and that her daughters would soon accept you, but she knew that every time you left the dining room without even touching your food, a part of you withered away. There came a time when she could no longer lie to herself.
The rest of the family wasn't helping either. Camilo played cruel pranks on you just to make Mirabel smile and even sweet Antonio looked down on you, if only to imitate his favorite cousin, and you also lost your voice. Dolores was always listening to you, of everything you did or said, so that Isabela could have more ammunition against you, there was no secret of yours that the two girls did not know, which left you vulnerable, paranoid and unable to really express anything for fear that it would be used against you. Little by little you stopped talking, even with her. The only times the healer would hear your voice was in the safety of night, in her room, where her niece couldn't hear you.
Julieta had tried to talk to the six children, but none had quit on their mission to torture you. She tried with Pepa and Felix, but her sister just shrugged and told her that she knew what she was getting into when she separated from her husband. Her brother-in-law had simply agreed with her sister, as always.
Mom didn't do anything either. She hadn't even wanted to accept you into the family, so she didn't care what her grandchildren did with you, the sooner you left and let her daughter "fix things" with Agustín, the better (no, she didn't care that said daughter had told her that there was nothing to fix, that everything was over between her and her ex-husband).
The only person who tried to make you feel welcome besides her was Bruno, and that didn't even count because the only reason he had to be nice to you was a vision he had. Julieta didn't want to know what was on the green tablet, the only thing that mattered to her was that before that, her brother hadn't wanted anything to do with you either. She was really alone in this. She started to be afraid you’d leave her because all her “family” was doing, but you always put a smile on your precious face and said you could hold yourself together for a little more.
And then the stupid Belladonna thing happened.
You already knew that you would never receive a beautiful flower from Isabela, and it was not uncommon for the occasional thorn to appear in your shoes (you had gotten used to checking them before putting them on for that very reason), but she never thought that the cruelty of her daughter could go so far.
She must have been suspicious when her eldest daughter had smiled sweetly at you, when she had spoken to you tenderly and offered a cup of tea she had never made. She could see in your eyes that you were just as confused and a little scared, but it was the first time that Isabela didn't insult you when talking to you, and you didn't want to ruin a possible peace agreement by rejecting it.
So you took it and thanked her with a soft smile that had warmed even her heart. For a moment, the older woman allowed herself to let down her guard and hope that things would get better. Silly of her, she forgot that she was the only daughter who could poison you.
You took a small sip, your mind torn between hoping that things would really get better, and fearing that it was just another joke. Perhaps you were expecting a spicy or salty touch, or some other alteration, but in reality it was sweet... too sweet.
Alerts went off in you, but as the girl looked at you with hopeful eyes, you just smiled and finished your cup. Juliet saw everything a few steps behind you, her heart softened and beating with love and hope. It seemed the beginning of something new, of a better relationship with her daughters... then the nightmare began.
A few minutes later you clung to the kitchen counter as if your life depended on it, you were dizzy and disoriented, your hands were sweaty and she could see that your pupils were dilated. Your face turned red, you couldn't seem to breathe, and he barely had time to catch you before you collapsed.
Camilo and Mirabel leaned out and gave Isabela a high five, which she told the healer that you had been the victim of another prank, but for some reason, this seemed too serious. Dolores confirmed this when she ran in a few seconds later, her eyes wide and her face full of guilt.
Her niece was terrified and her voice cracked as she screamed that your heart rate was too fast, and that this was not part of the plan. Juliet barely had to hear the word "belladonna" before she gasped and raced against the clock.
She had picked you up and carried you to the bathroom, Casita seemed to be on her side for once and helped her up the stairs quickly, while she blocked out the screams of the family behind her. She managed to make you vomit and as soon as you breathed well again, she put an arepa in your mouth to prevent the poisoning from advancing. She acted fast and managed to get you completely to safety, but fear and mistrust were firmly imprinted on you.
You heard your girlfriend fighting with her eldest daughter, who didn't seem even the least bit sorry for what she had done to you, despite the seriousness of the situation, and the banter didn't stop after that. It was then that, despite how much you loved Juliet, you had to make a decision, and barely a week after that, you disappeared in the middle of the night, leaving only a note behind you.
Julieta had cried even before she finished reading it, and her screams had woken everyone in the house, not just Dolores. At first her mother tried to get closer to her, but was greeted with a shoving and the most angry look she had ever seen in her life. Her anger was directed especially at her eldest granddaughter.
"It's not that bad, mom" Isabela said rolling her eyes.
"YOU COULD KILL HER!"
"You were there, weren't you? And I didn't even give him much belladonna, just a little-"
"ENOUGH!" Julieta had yelled, taking everyone by surprise "I'm sick of all this, I'm tired of all of you. She didn't do anything, she was never rude, she never raised her voice to anyone and you treated her like dirt"
"Juli-"
"Why?” she asked with a voice so broken that Alma wanted to cry “I have never done anything against this family. I was always your perfect golden doll, I never said no, I even married a man I didn’t want to because YOU thought it was the best for me. Was I a bad daughter?”
“No, mija, that’s-”
“Then why? Why couldn’t I be happy? Why couldn’t you all support me the only time I choose myself?”
The Madrigals didn’t know what to say, and Julieta’s daughters were divided between the shock of knowing their mother didn't want to marry their father in the first place and seeing the woman the three of them looked up to breaking in front of them like a scared little girl.
“Julieta-”
“I know you never liked Y/N” she interrupted her sister “but I do, Pepa, I really do”
“Mom, I didn’t-”
“You don’t talk to me, Isabela” she growled “not tonight. You’re the one who treated her the worst, you tried to kill her for god’s sake! What if I hadn’t been there? Have you thought about it?”
The girl tried not to cry but her mother’s words were cutting her like sharp knives. Maybe because Julieta had never spoken to her like that before, maybe it was the deep disappointment in her eyes…or maybe, it was because she knew she was right. You could have died for what she did.
“But that doesn’t matter” the healer whispered “you got what you wanted. What ALL of you wanted. She’s gone…congratulations”
“Juli-”
“You didn’t want her to be part of the family” she cut her sister “now I wish I wasn’t either”
And with that, she had closed her room’s door on everyone’s faces, leaving all the family shocked, scared and feeling terribly guilty. They knew they couldn’t do anything at the moment, and Isabela and Dolores were crying, they just hoped things would get better the next day.
_______________
But the next day had turned into a week, and then a month. Julieta never spoke to any of them again, she didn’t smile, didn’t laugh, she didn’t even look at them. She just did her shores and locked herself in her room. Her eyes were red, her skin lost the healthy glow it once had, her hair was a mess, she lost weight and didn’t have that friendly and motherly shape anymore. She became a ghost.
And what scared them the most was that, by the third month after you left, the glow on her door faded. It reminded them of Bruno’s door before he came back. Pepa had cried and begged for her sister to forgive them all, Alma regretted every single choice she made about her daughter’s life without her consent, Dolores and Isabela were about to lose their sanity. Everyone missed Julieta, but none could do anything to bring her back. She was dying in front of them”
“Julieta, please…please” Pepa begged again
“Mija”
“Mami”
“There’s no use” Bruno sighed, making everyone look at him “we did this”
“Tío Bruno?” Mirabel asked as he showed them the vision he had
“She’s not coming back” he whispered “there’s no cure for a broken heart”

Yandere! Julieta and Agustin headcanons
Tumblr media
It was probably Agustin who found you first due to his clumsiness.
Agustin then told Julieta who became very obsessed.
Agustin is probably the least dangerous out of the two, because he is less obsessed with you then Julieta is.
When Julieta hugs you, you can barley even breath.
The first time you tried to escape, you twisted your ankle, then they caught you, giving you a scolding. Julieta also gave you food to help your ankle heal
They are very gentle and forgiving yanderes.
when they punish you, they don't hurt you that bad. They don't break your legs like other yanderes would do. They would only chain you up etc etc.
No one else can touch you without there permission.

Nightmare (Yandere Madrigal triplets x reader)
Tumblr media
Tw: Murder, kidnapping, blood, force, unhealthy obsession, yandere themes.
You walked with a smile on your face, on your way to the Madrigal house. The triplets had invited you to sleep over at their place for the night, you obviously said yes, you couldn't say no. They were your friends and you loved them.
You twisted the knob to casita, letting yourself in. But then a grim smell slapping you in the face, you couldn't help but squeeze your nose in disgust.
'What was that smell?'
You decided to explore where the source of the smell was coming from, walking, you suddenly stepped on something squishy. You looked down to see one of the Madrigal family's corpses, looking around you noticed every Madrigal member was dead. But three body's were missing, Julietas, Pepas, and Brunos.
As you froze, you then felt something hit you in the head. Knocking you out.
Your eyes slowly fluttered open, only black to be seen in your point of vision. You attempted to move your hands, but noticed it was tied down, so were your ankles.
"I think their awake," You heard a very famillar say, then another two chimed in. "I agree."
Suddenly you felt someone untying the blind fold that squeezed around your head, finally letting your eyes see light. You then saw Julieta, Pepa, and Bruno. Except, they were covered in blood all over their body's.
"Welcome home dear!" Julieta squealed. "This isn't my home!" You replied with a scared tone tracing your voice, "Oh but it is now mi vida!" Pepa replied exicited, "mhm!" Bruno agreeded.
"Why are you guys doing this?! What even happened to you!" You cried.
"Because we love you estimado/estimada!" Julieta said loudly.
"But this isn't love! This is murder, this is wrong! Let me go, let me go now!" You screamed, also demanded.
"I'm afraid we can't do that mi amor," Pepa darkly told you.
"Yeah your ours now," Julieta also said darkly.
"Accept out love please mi amor!" Bruno sweetly asked.
"I can't not like this...I-I'm sorry."
"Well I guess we'll all have to force you," Pepa said.
From here was a nightmare, they constantly punished you, forcing you to do whatever they wanted...You were theirs now, and you couldn't escape, even if you tried...

Im not fluent in Spanish yet, but I am taking Spanish class so I’m sorry if the few words I wrote in Spanish weren’t correct.
You can not tell me Julieta doesn't have 10 kids to take care of.
Her first children are Isabella, Luisa and Mirabel, then Dolores, Camilo, and Antonio, then Pepa, Felix, Bruno, and we can't forget the most childish, her wife y/n.
Throughout the days they will all go to her and ask her for help or if she needs help they will help, everyone also makes sure she is taking breaks because after the whole candle incident she has been working harder and more non-stop. Y/n is almost always by her wife's side, if she's not there she is either getting Juli more pre-made food or the restroom other than that they are connected at the hip.
One day though Pepa goes to Julieta and the sky was dark and cloudy so Juli knew her little sister was upset.
"Juli can I sleep in your room tonight? I-I just-"
But before she could finish Julieta pulled her into a hug.
"Yes you can always come and sleep in my room no matter the reason hermana"
At this Pepa started crying, which means it started raining, but that didn't bother Julieta she kept hugging her hermana even though she was getting soaked by Pepa's tears and the rain. If you wanted to you could think of the rain as Pepa's tears since she controls the weather.
~later that day after lunch~
Juli is at her stand taking a break because y/n literally forced her to sit down and she is now sitting on to of Juli so she can't get up and start working until her break is over, and with y/n being taller than Julieta it was easy to pick her up and make her sit down for a break. About 10 minutes into her break Antonio walks up to them and y/n moves off Julieta so she can talk to Antonio.
"Hey Tonio, is everything okay?"
"Mhm, just wanted Mama Juli huggies"
"Okay, I'll give you some huggies right now but I do have to go back to work soon so you can come and sleep in my room with y/n and Pepa alright?"
"Okie, is it okay if I stay here the rest of the time though?"
"Not at all sweetie you can play with y/n while I work okay?"
"Okie!"
Antonio turns to y/n as Julieta gets back to work at her stand.
"Hi auntie y/n!"
"Hi buddy, what do you want to play hm? Maybe eye spy?"
With that y/n and Antonio start playing together until Julieta is done with her shift at her stand.
~Time skip to bed time~
Juli gets dressed in her normal nightgown and sits down in bed while y/n is changing into her unicorn onesie with a hood that has a horn and face along with a tail. When y/n is done changing she heads for bed but then sees everyone piled on the bed and squished together.
"Um... What? I mean I don't care as long as I get my pillow"
And with that y/n gets on top of Julieta and starts using her as a pillow like always.
"Guys...I..Can't breath"
No one moves
"GUYS MY GIRLFRIEND CAN'T BREATH SO MOVE YOUR CULOS AND GET OFF"
Everyone was shocked because y/n doesn't ever yell so once everyone got off the bed including Julieta and y/n they chose who would sleep where and y/n got told why everyone was in there. Felix was in there because he didn't want to sleep alone and didn't want to sleep in a different room as Pepa. Dolores, Isabella, Camilo, Mirabel, and Bruno just wanted to join the party.
"Okay y/n, Pepa and Antonio will sleep on the bed with me, everyone else suck it up and sleep somewhere in my room, just don't mess with anything you don't need to sleep."
Pepa, Juli and Antonio get on the bed then y/n climbs on last and rests on Juli as her pillow once again.
"Mi amor you can get off now, you don't have to sleep with your head in my chest."
"I know but your my pillow and if i get off someone else will use my pillow"
"Mi amor I am your wife"
"Same thing"
A/N: I'm not dead, I just didn't have my chromebook over the summer because it's my school, I have motivation and prompts now so hopefully I'm able to post more. I hope you liked this. I came up with this with Zaf while I was cleaning my room yesterday and a few other things that will be their own but smaller and shorter because they are just naturally short unless I get off track and manage to add random stuff in, like I did here. Anyway hope you have a good day/night or afternoon and you drink and eat even if it's just a bit.
Lots of love,
El ❤️

One More Time (Julieta x Fem!Reader) Pt 1
Tumblr media
As always I am not a native Spanish speaker, so if I butchered a sentence or word let me know so I may correct it.
This one ended up being super long so I hope it’s something you all find worth reading.
Part 1 of 20
Pt 2
I did not make the gif.
Things to note: Julieta is a widow. Reader is 30. Talks about depression early on.
Please don’t tear it apart too harshly!
The night Agustín died was the night Julieta became dead inside. Her husband, her other half, her Agustín was gone and here she was, taking another breath as if her whole world hadn’t just ended.
She tried her best to be strong for her daughters. Her headstrong Isabela, her soft hearted Luisa, and her baby Mirabel needed her to be both mother and father now. The brunette had never been more thankful to have a home filled with family because when her depression overtook her and she couldn’t find the strength to get out of bed her sister would love on her girls. Make sure they were eating and thriving as best as they could under the circumstances.
Over the course of a month Julieta tried to pretend she was okay, but she was an open book and everyone could see she wasn’t. Her daughters were slowly smiling again, finding joy with their cousins, in gardening, in sewing, in working out. Julieta was thankful for it, but everything she did reminded her of her sweet husband and the hole in her heart.
She had tried, she had really tried. Alma Madrigal, matriarch of the family, had convinced her to cook for the town. After a month and some days without the magical food provided by the healer the town was struggling with their injuries and illness. So Julieta focused on her cooking and went to town. The first person who came up to her, her eyes filled with tears.
The man was swollen from the familiar poison of bee stings. Julieta could only see her husband's goofy smile as he waved his puffy hand at her and she couldn’t handle the vision. Shoving the food into the man’s hands she ran.
——
“Welcome! I’ll be right there!” You called out. You were perched on a rolling ladder stacking books on a high shelf.
You were the owner of Palabras Suaves, the local bookshop in town. It had been in the family since your grandmother was a child, and now at the age of thirty you had been running it successfully for years.
This shop was your pride and joy. You never married, never had children, and your parents passed six years ago. Your father of illness and your mother of a broken heart. You had sought comfort from your then fiancé at the time but finding him in bed with your supposed best friend left a sour taste in your mouth. So despite being alone you had your shop and you were happy.
After placing the final book you jumped from the ladder and rounded the narrow aisle.
“What can I do for you?” You asked with a smile, but quickly the smile dropped when you saw the distressed Madrigal.
Everyone in town knew the Madrigals, they were practically royalty and served the community from the kindness of their hearts. Everyone also knew that Julieta Madrigal, the eldest daughter of their leader, was a recent widow.
“Señora Madrigal, are you alright?” You hurried to her side. You took note of the woman and how frail and broken she looked. You gently took her arm and led her to one of the various overstuffed chairs scattered along the shop.
“Lo siento I didn’t mean to intrude.” Julieta managed to get out in between deep breaths and tears. She wasn’t even sure which shop she had run into. Her brain told her to escape and here she was.
“You have not in the slightest.” You replied and sat the older woman down. Her hands were trembling and you quickly figured the poor woman was having a panic attack.
You were all too familiar with that feeling and despite the progress you had made to rid yourself of them completely you knew they would always be lurking. You took the brunette's hand and placed it on your chest and you placed hers on hers, your hands on top of both. You pressed slightly to apply pressure.
“Señora, please focus as best as you can on me and my breathing.”
You took a deep breath, held for three seconds, and released. You continued to repeat the pattern over and over until finally Julieta began to match it.
“Sí just like that.” You encouraged the healer.
Minutes passed and soon Julieta was able to regain control over herself. Once her hand stopped trembling against your chest you felt confident and released her.
“¡Dios mío, me da vergüenza!” Julieta said, her cheeks flushed from embarrassment. She couldn’t believe that that had happened in public.
“Don’t be. Our emotions are best to be felt instead of bottled up.” You said and offered her a smile.
Julieta blinked in surprise but quickly glanced away. She was embarrassed that she couldn’t place your face. She couldn’t remember you gracing her line and you had never been to casita for a vision.
“Let me get you some coffee.” You said, and before she could protest you were already gone.
Julieta took the moment of silence to glance around. The book cases were tall and overflowing. The room had a warm vanilla fragrance and there was soft music playing she hadn’t noticed before. It was all soothing.
It finally dawned on her where she was. Palabras Suaves hadn’t been frequented by the brunette in many many years, but she remembered the times she spent bringing her daughters to come pick out books. Mirabel had become especially fond of the store after her failed gift ceremony.
“I can read all the stories about heroes and magic powers.” Her then five year old had announced.
Julieta couldn’t help but smile slightly at the memory. She didn’t remember you though. She remembered Señora Y/L/N always treating her and her daughter well. She had been distraught when the woman had passed away from something she couldn’t heal. She was learning how deadly a broken heart could really be. It took a few extra moments but finally Julieta connected the dots. You were Señora Y/L/N’s daughter Y/N.
She felt foolish that she hadn’t figured it out sooner. She recalled you as a teenager fluttering around the store whenever she brought her girls. You were older than all her daughters and Isabela at the time would follow you around the shop, indulging in having an older girl to admire.
Julieta now remembered seeing you at both funerals. How small and empty you looked.
“Here, drink.” You instructed upon return, snapping Julieta out of the memory. Julieta gratefully took the mug from you as you sat in the overly stuffed chair across from her.
She couldn’t remember the last time someone made her a cup of coffee. She looked into the dark liquid, catching her blurry reflection. She could only imagine how she looked.
“Gracias Señorita Y/L/N, you are too kind.” Julieta said, glancing back up at the woman before her.
Taking a moment the healer studied your features. You had a mountain of thick curly dark hair pulled back with a maroon bandana. Your eyes were dark and piecing and your skin tone was maybe half a shade lighter than her own. You had grown into a lovely woman.
“You do not need to thank me for showing simple kindness, and por favor, call me Y/N.” You replied with a smile. Julieta nodded slightly at you and sipped the warm liquid.
Now it was your turn to study the older woman and you couldn’t help but frown. Her eyes looked so hollow and empty, her skin didn’t have a healthy glow, and she looked frail and too skinny. In the weeks leading up to your own mothers death she looked just like the woman before you. It made your stomach flip in an uncomfortable way.
“Can I get you something to eat?” You asked, your hands gripping the fabric of your dress tightly.
Julieta wanted to decline, and she was about to when she noticed your hands. They were clenched so tightly and your lips were but a thin line at that moment. So she offered you a small smile and nodded.
“Gracias, I appreciate your hospitality.”
You didn’t realize the breath you were holding until you released it. You smiled and excused yourself only to return moments later with a plate of cookies.
“They might not have healing properties but they are pretty good.” You teased the woman who stared at the plate before finally taking a cookie and forcing herself to eat.
Julieta blinked in surprise with how good the treat was. It was soft and extra chocolatey.
“You’re right this is really good!” She said and scarfed it down. She didn’t realize just how hungry she had been until she finished her fourth.
You sat quietly, smiling at the woman as she ate. If she was eating then she would be okay. Your mother had refused food, refused anything, and when she finally became too weak you knew her goodbyes were about to be final.
“Lo siento I didn’t mean to eat them all.” Julieta blushed with embarrassment.
While she couldn’t remember the last time someone made her coffee she knew no one had made her, or even offered her anything to eat in over thirty years. She shifted uncomfortably at the thought.
“I offered them to you, I wanted you to eat them all.” You said, studying the woman before her.
“My condolences for your loss. Señor Madrigal was a very kind man.” You said to the woman after an awkward moment of silence.
Julieta went tense when you offered her sympathy. After the first few initial days people offered the same statement, but soon people stopped. She couldn’t blame them, they couldn’t say such things for the rest of their lives.
“He once saw me struggling to put up a new bookcase and offered his services. He then fell from that ladder after insisting on stocking the shelves for me.” You fondly remembered. It was shortly after your father had died and you were struggling to do the things he normally did for you. You must have looked so pathetic back then.
Julieta remembered the day he came home all banged up, she had just assumed he had been helping your mother.
“He was always getting hurt trying to help others.” Julieta said. Her hollow eyes becoming a bit more lifelike. You took a quick assessment and continued.
“He actually came back the next day and insisted on finishing the task. I tried to tell him it wasn’t necessary but he hopped right back onto the ladder and finished the job.”
Julieta was gripping the mug intensely as she drank in every word you said. No one wanted to talk about Agustín, in fear of upsetting her, but it was the only thing she wanted to do. Think about her sweet husband and tell stories. She had been shut down so many times and while she knew people thought they were doing the right thing, trying to avoid the ache, she so desperately needed this conversation.
“That’s the kind of man he was. Always willing to help anyone that needed it. Or didn’t need it.” Julieta chuckled softly. You smiled brightly at her.
“Both my mother and father always spoke fondly of the Madrigal family. I can still hear my mother raving about your family's kindness.”
“We are glad to be helpful to our community.” Julieta said thinking of her own mother and how they had to prove their miracle was well deserved in their hands.
“My parents were quite fond of Agustín and Felix, despite having no gift they worked their absolute hardest to help all of us.”
Julieta perked back up. While she always valued her husband and brother in law she had grown so used to hearing people call them useless for being in a magical family with no magic.
“But they especially loved Mirabel.”
“My little Mirabel?” Julieta asked, blinking back her tears.
“My father once hit a man for simply overhearing him talk poorly about her after her ceremony.”
“He what?!” Julieta cried out. Her eyes went wide and you couldn’t help but laugh softly.
“I was around eighteen or nineteen and we were transporting books when he suddenly stopped and told me to stay put with the merchandise before approaching the man. Words were exchanged and suddenly he hit him!”
Julieta’s hands went to her mouth in shock.
“I had never seen my father hit someone before. Later on he told me that closed minded people have no business opening their mouths. Especially if they are going to speak poorly of children.”
“How did I never hear about this?”
“Well he said if he was going to speak poorly about your daughter then he had no business going to you for healing.” You chuckled.
“And I guess he took it to heart.”
Julieta couldn’t help but smile. For the first time in a month it wasn’t forced and for a split second she felt like herself again. Not the version of her being held hostage by her own depression.
The two of you were quiet for a moment.
“Gracias. For telling me about how Agustín helped you, and about Mirabel.”
You fiddled with your dress for a moment.
“When my parents died all I wanted was to talk about them but everyone avoided it. Afraid that they’d upset me.”
Julieta glanced away and nodded. She knew the feeling all too well.
“So I figured you might want the same.”
Before Julieta could respond the bell above the shop door rang.
“Mom, are you here?”
Julieta recognized her youngest daughter's voice and looked up. You softly smiled at Julieta and rose and left the small aisle. A minute later you and the girl appeared.
“Mom, we've been looking for you. We heard you fled from your stand.” Mirabel said and quickly rushed to her mother, embracing her in a hug. Julieta just barely put down her coffee before Mirabel was in her arms. She tightly gripped her daughter.
“Lo siento mi vida. I didn’t mean to worry everyone. I was just a little overwhelmed.” Julieta stated and glanced past her daughter's shoulder to look at you. Pleading with you not to say anything about her earlier panic attack.
You stood silently and slightly nodded at the woman. There was no need to tell her daughter what she likely already knew.
Julieta rose and took her daughter's hand.
“Gracias, for everything.”
“De nada. You’re welcome here anytime, and if you’d ever like to talk again I’m more than willing.” You replied. Mirabel glanced between the two of you before tugging on her mothers arm.
“Gracias Señorita for watching out for my mom.” Mirabel said. You looked from the brunette to the young lady before you and smiled.
“You don’t need to thank me. You and your mother are welcome here anytime you wish.”
