Don't we all deserve a friend like moeum in our lives? She was the one at the airport when seokryu came back, she was the one who smiled and supported her dream when seokryu said she wants to pursue cooking, and she is the one who just leaned in for a hug without pestering seokryu with questions. Even though people react in different ways and we've seen everyone's way of letting sadness out in tonight's ep 10 but moeum... my gawd this girl MOEUM IS SUCH A GEM!!! She'll forever be my favorite girl♡ I hope everyone who reads this post gets to have a genuine and selfless friend like moeum. I mean it! ☆

i don't remember the last time i felt so frustrated at a character yet had an almost-equal level of pity for him. Credit to Jung HaeIn of course, because he has this ability to sound so spiteful and bitter, yet turn around and be full of pain and regret in his eyes. I didn't understand the hype around him before and now I do, I really do. Also, I said it once and I'll say it again, experienced and super-talented actors being cast in romcoms just elevates the characters and the story they're in, especially in character-driven stories like this one. It's such a treat.

And it's not that I don't understand where he's coming from. He's afraid. He's hurting. He is so angry that she knows him so well, that he knows his favorite food, that she was there to cheer him on his swim meet when his parents weren't. That she cried for him when he had his accident and was there to pull him out of his depression. YET she doesn't understand the biggest thing about him: his love for her and how long that has lasted. And at the same time, it's hard for him to be so cold towards her and so mean. Ugh. I really want to throw him a shoe of my own and tell him to man up, but also tell him that everything will be alright, that he just needs to say how he feels.

Meanwhile, poor Seokryu has no idea what's gotten into him. She's so excited with the newfound direction in her life, her new passion and wants to share it with him, but is met with a wall of ice on his part. It's hard to watch and I can't be mad at her, because, my dude really needs to understand that even if he was being obvious about his feelings for 20-plus years, it really wasn't Seokryu's responsibility to understand all the signals, the gestures and everything else. There are things that you need to say, even if you showed them in every other way.

Even if she claims to know him better than everyone else, she couldn't have known something he wanted to keep a secret most of the time. Also, sometimes we are oblivious to the things that directly concern us. We lack perspective on how others see us. It makes sense she never figured out his feelings, (and again, why should she?? ugh the man-dacity!)

I'm gonna need for him to tell her and do it right, calmly. That's what my girl deserves. And if he wants her by his side, he's gonna need to woo her and fight for her. He can't win her anymore by acting like they're 10 year olds. He's right, they're adults. And he needs to act like a grown man.

Starring Han Ji-min, you will follow a beautiful love story, challenged by Korean standards. I was amazed by the chemistry, you can feel the love through the screen.

2 ~ Snowdrop

Starring the one and only Kim Ji-soo, prepare your tissue for this one. It describes the story between a North Korean spy and a student. Despite the sadness of the drama, it's a must-watch as it makes you feel a lot a emotions.

3 ~ Something in the rain

Starring Son Ye-Jin, one of the most realistic love story in kdramas in my opinion. You will witness what true love is, and Korea's cliché towards age gap and family struggles.

i finished dp and once again am in awe of jung haein as an actor and the writing overall being able to have such strong independent plots every episode and construct such meaningful relationships in a work environment
