I cosplayed joe hills ( @joehills ) at a convention this week and it was absolutely amazing :D

I've been working on the juppet sock puppets for a couple of weeks now and I'm so so so happy with how they turned out!! (+bonus watercolor drawing of the juppet I made)

Howdy y'all! A little Joseph H. Hills here for all of your Juppet needs!

I had a lot of fun with this one! Playing around with colors & textures is something i always enjoy, and designing Joe & Juppet was lots of fun. My design for Joe Hills was inspired by @kitsuneisi and @xmaruu11 's design—though not exactly the same, it was similar enough I thought l'd credit them :) And as for Juppet, i did a tiny amount of research into common muppet mechanics, and it was pretty interesting! (even if my end result isn't the most accurate... it's still subject to change lol)

Anyway, while drawing this I was listening to Joe Hill's Hermitcraft 10 episode 50 where he interviews national LGBTQ+ legislative researcher & trans activist Allison Chapman! They had such a lovely and insightful conversation about the current state of American LGBTQ+ rights, as well as all the work there is to do. I highly encourage you all to watch it if you haven't already, even if this doesn't directly apply to you! A lot of the topics they touch on can apply to everyone regardless of who you are or where you live :)
