#just Kira and her pack of dry sarcasm
Text
Good to know Stiles, Kira, Isaac, Theo, and Cora are out there, living their best lives, maybe as a scooby gang. Good for them.

with the movie news, how about teen wolf for the game?
Thanks for playing, though that movie should never be the reason for anything imo! xD
3 male characters I love: STILES STILES STILES he is one of THE BEST BOYS on TV!!! I love this character so much! Second, Derek with his broody dry sarcasm, absolutely delightful. Ah, let's complete the trio of main characters and take Scott, he's honestly so funny and sweet
3 female characters I love: KIRA! I love Kira so much she is so adorable and such a disaster in the best of ways, also I'm sorry but badass kitsune??? Hot damn! Second would be Allison, I always found her incredibly compelling and I am still mad at how she died (but then I'm also still mad at how they shelved Kira. Mh. Here's a trend for you. Date Scott McCall and you get canned <_< Weird writing decisions imo, considering he's the titular lead). And thiiird Melissa McCall, she's a great mom, even if she took some to adjust to Scott's situation, once she did, she was ride and die
3 romantic ships I love: Sterek, at the top, obviously. Stiles and Derek are top-tier. From the canon ships, it'd be Scott/Allison I was honestly so surprisingly much invested in this? And then Kira/Malia, ever since their dance in the club in Mexico!!! That was so yes, finally a femslash ship has crossed my radar for this show!! They were cute and Kira deserves to be happy
3 platonic dynamics I love: Scott-Stiles, their friendship is the backbone of this franchise. Second, mh, I do find the dynamic of Scott and Derek very interesting too, particularly in fics where the McCall pack and the Hale pack coexist (as it should be). And thirdly the Lydia-Allison friendship, I love me a good girls-friendship
3 favorite moments in canon: When Stiles carried Derek in the pool, that was *chef's kiss*, absolutely. Stiles in the hospital, thinking he's going to die of the same thing his mom did, but then the nogitsune reveal - Dylan's acting was incredible in the dual role. Brilliant. Third one is really hard, because despite having such shit writing for the most part, there are absolutely brilliant comedic pearls in this show. Okay let's go with one of my favorite shots, when Stiles and Scott are in the gay bar looking for Danny and Scott suddenly realizes it's a gay bar and turns toward Stiles, who is just surrounded by drag queens and goes "ya think" like he was in his element there and Jeff still trying to convince us that boy isn't bi lol what a fool
3 favorite headcanons: BISEXUAL STILES. Boyd and Erica and Allison LIVE FUCK YOU. Hale pack coexisting with the McCall pack
3 least favorite things about it: ahahahahahaha *ugly sobbing* how do I narrow this down to 3? *more sobbing* okay top has to be the existence of season 6B that was just shit the only good thing about it was FBI!Stiles and the way Derek carried him bridal style but other than that this shit half-season has no rights. Second? KIRA and how she was shelved, like, they didn't even fridge her the way they did with Allison, letting her die a heroic sacrifice death, instead they took this young woman with her whole life ahead of her and... and... put her in the sand to be gone forever what the fuck what the fuck what the actual fuck (plus the behind the scenes shit I mean hot damn to not tell Arden that they'd write Kira out of the show???) And third is genuinely hard, like, probably the existence of this good for nothing movie sequel and that they want to make a spin-off show from it

I wish I remembered more of season 5 Bc im getting a sudden AU idea.
One thing I like to do when I go the route of making Mitch an actual hunter, is having him either be trained by Chris, or having him be Allison’s cousin.
So what if after everything that happens with Kate and Allison’s mom and all of that bad, Mitch comes to stay with the Argents. Family solidarity + backup and all the jazz. He and Allison reconnect, he helps deal with the whole Beacon Hills situation and such. Isn’t really all that impressed with all the werewolves.
Allison dies and it’s horrible, as you would expect. Mitch is even less impressed with Scott who goes on as though Allison was the love of his life and it was so Tragic, meanwhile he’s chasing Kira’s skirt not even a week later. As someone who has actually lost the love of his life, it leaves a bad taste in his mouth that Scott is cheapening Allison’s death and making it all about him. Kira is a sweetheart though, and she’s one of the few memebers of the pack Mitch actually likes. Peter is surprisingly another; Mitch can respect that drive for vendence. I think he would have liked Erica, too. She’s a spitfire and he definitely has a type. And you can’t not like Boyd. Isaac he probably had issues with on account of the Allison situation, but they probably came to some kind of truce for her sake, and Mitch was usually willing to run interference with Chris so they could get some alone time.
One member of the pack he never really gets to know is Stiles. He’s distrusting on principle, and Argents have a better than not chance of being psycho, so Stiles is wary around him. Mitch doesn’t particularly feel the need to reach out, and their paths generally don’t cross much. When they do, there is a lot of sarcasm and snark from both of them. Their dry humor is very similar, and only Peter can match them for the acerbicness. Everyone thinks they hate each other but Stiles actually really likes snarking with Mitch, most people can’t keep up with him. Doesn’t mean he’s gonna trust him, though.
Although after Allison Stiles does try to reach out, but that’s the wrong time. Mitch doesn’t do well when grieving loved ones. He gets mean and pulls away ,lashes out when people try to reach out or sympathize. He doesn’t care for false shows of empathy (although in Stiles’ case it’s not false), he would rather just be left the fuck alone.
Then season five rolls around, and Stiles kills Donovan, and he feels completely, totally alone. There’s nowhere to go, no one he can turn to or talk too. He’s completely isolated.
And Mitch doesn’t know him all that well, but even he knows that Stiles is not one to be so quiet. He’s withdrawn, seems more paranoid that usual, jumping at sounds and shadows. No one else may be able to see what’s going on with him, but Mitch recognizes the signs. He gets Stiles alone, tries to make Stiles tell him what he did. It doesn’t work. Stiles deflects, and then lashes out when Mitch keeps pushing. He’s too stubborn to admit what he did.
Then Scott finds out and rejects him, and that’s the last straw for him. Stiles doesn’t know what to do. He thought he could handle it. The crushing guilt, the paranoia, the fear. He could handle it, because at least he still had his pack. Now he doesn’t even have that much. And it’s not like he has his dad, because there’s no way he could ever admit this to him. Not after what happened with Kira and her dad.
So he breaks down. Maybe he calls Mitch, maybe Mitch finds him while out patrolling, more for something to do than out of necessity. He takes Stiles back to his place when Stiles asks, because he knows his dad will be home soon. Mitch can tell as soon as he sees Stiles that something is different. He’s not so guarded anymore. He looks defeated. It makes Mitch wary, because if there was ever something Stiles has never been....
He’s soaked through from sitting in the rain for who knows how long, so Mitch gets him something to change into and makes him coffee to warm him up. Neither of them say anything pretty much the whole time. Mitch is just waiting him out while Stiles tries to find his voice.
Eventually he does, and he tells Mitch everything. He kinda of wants to throw up finally saying all of this outloud (realizes it’s the first time he’s actually said he killed Donovan), but it also feels like a relief to finally get it out. It helps that Mitch listens without judgement. He’s a hunter after all, he’s accustomed to killing. He killed Gerard when Scott and Chris couldn’t finish the job, and he wasn’t the first human Mitch killed. But Stiles is just a kid. The weight of death is too heavy on his soul, and that’s not even counting everything with the Nogitsune that he still blames himself for. But this time it was different; there was nothing making him do it. It was all him.
Mitch probably doesn’t bother telling Stiles not to blame himself, or that it was an accident, or that it was self-defense. Stiles has told himself that a million times already and clearly it hasn’t helped. Empty reassurances never were his thing, anyway. Instead he asks what Stiles wants to do now. Tell his father, find away to cope, continue hiding the truth. Makes no difference to him but he’ll help if he can with whatever Stiles chooses. And that show of support is what finally gets through to him, shows him he’s not alone. He has someone on his side.
Stiles can’t tell his father. That much he’s certain of. He’d like to learn how to cope with it but he can’t even imagine where to begin, so instead he asks for help in finding out what happened to the body. He still doesn’t know for sure.
Then, while they’re investigating, many late nights spent in close quarters are had. One thing leads to another.... and I’m sure you can guess the rest.
