Somebody please tell me that it's okay that I memorised my three minute speech by heart right now. I feel like a failure for not using bullet points to speak freely but having whole sentences in my mind. I feel like an actor not an advocate of my team.

#personal #but also please someone tell me it's fine #public speaking is scary #but it's also so important that us therapists get some visibility #I'll probably be fine #just gotta tone down the theatrics and find my heart alongside those words #which is weird because i was also on fire while writing the speech #ahhhh #and i know i worry too much about doing things perfectly #and that wish that i make every word count #heard #and fitted nicely #i a legit reason to learn 15 sentences by heart #oof #why do I put pressure on myself like this #i know I can speak and do presentations!#and this is a whole nother level with tv and politics involved #but what if i come across as stiff and turn out to be a bad representative #aaaaah
