You prob answered this before but im gonna ask anyway:

If Vivziepop said that Adam is “alive in some way”, what’s ur theory on it? (My theory is that Viv is hiding stuff from us)

(LOL I've been asked this a few times but I love answering stuff for Adam. XD So ask away!)

That's EXACTLY what I'm thinking. There's a lot of stuff that just doesn't sit right with my on how Adam died. It didn't feel final, not like, let's say, a DBZ kill where the bad guy literally gets torn apart.

I think she went about it the right way in order to make sure Adam had a chance to come back. If Lucifer hit Adam with his Destroy the Planet move, there was no question Adam would have been gone for good (and a big reason why I think the 'angelic light isn't a weapon' excuse is bullshit.)

BUT, having Adam stabbed left it open. Had the show not been renewed, then Adam could plausibly stay dead because of the angelic steel. BUT had the show been greenlit another season, it'd be easy to have him resurrect in Pen's place. An 'eye for an eye' kind of thing.

Add that NOBODY'S mentioned anything about Adam except for Viv's vague 'dead but alive' thing, and that she looks like she's avoiding Sinner Adam posts makes me wonder that Adam's going to be the shocking reveal for season 2.

I ADORE Lute, but let's be real...she does NOT have Adam's charisma. There's no way she can solo an entire story arc on her own. More than likely she's going to find Adam as a sinner and face her words coming back to bite her.

Viv DID say she put a TON of Easter Eggs for season 2, and A LOT of lines at Adam tend to lean towards someone falling in season 2. And Adam's definitely the guy that fits best.

I know from experience that lack of information does NOT mean it doesn't exist. Instead, it supports something IS happening, since why allow the hype to build and risk enraging most of your consumer base? Everytime a show pulls a move like that, it suffers MASSIVELY.

(Oh and the actors being banned from openly talking about season 2 definitely gives me the vibes that something very big is brewing...)

Yeah I feel you. There's at least one person saying it under any Adam-related video, and from what I've seen it's the same repetitive conversation every time. They always only have this exact argument, and when someone responds with a way he could still come back they ignore them and copypaste the same thing over and over until one of them stops replying.

If they dislike Adam and/or don't want him to come back then that's fine I guess, to each their own, but actively seeking out content related to a character you dislike, simply for the sake of being a buzzkill towards people who do like him and are excited over the idea, is just obnoxious behavior.

a part of me is still kinda sorta hoping that Adam may return somewhere in season 2, tho it’s more likely for him to come back in season 3 (if he is gonna return in season2, he’ll prob be more like a B-plot, or dunno, i just want him back as soon as possible ;-;)

DAAAAW thank youuuu! I mean, I wouldn't call myself a savior. I'm fully willing to admit I'm wrong if it does end up true that Viv erased Adam for whatever reason.

But I'm old. Like LEGIT old. I was born in the early 90s and I watched and lived through A LOT of fan crazed stuff that makes Hazbin look like a baby tantrum.

So I go into this with someone with a lot of experience in his fan push affects franchises. If a creator is brazen enough to tell a massive part of their audience to fuck off, they're doomed.

I'm tired of people being this reactive the second they hear or see something. This is exactly the reaction Spindlehorse wants in order to gage what direction they want to go. Every company does this and it's why fan fave bad boys always come back. Like....ALWAYS. You might as well make it a bingo moment with how predictable it is.

Plus Vivziepop is predictable too. She always changes directions due to fan demand. Like Stolas was supposed to be a villain that sounds like he regular sexually harassed Blitz, but fan demand changed it so that Stolas is a lot more positive without the villainous angle.

Huskerdust was never in the cards until fans demanded it after Angel got inappropriate with Husk in the pilot. Now it's a confirmed ship in the show.

Like it's predictable to a degree and why I'm not that freaking out about it. Fan demand for Adam just exploded after the interview, and with Viv at SDCC and I think Alex Brightman being interviewed on YouTube at some point, the demand is only going to increase.

Can I be wrong? Yes. But I recommend doing what I did when Star Trek shit all over Lore.... stop supporting them. That's it. Just stop giving money to the company if they regularly ignore their fans.

It's why I stopped buying Marvel stuff years ago. They betrayed their fans too many times to justify blowing 50 bucks a week on their stuff.

If Viv decides to ignore the massive demand for Sinner Adam, stop supporting it. That's the only way to get a business to listen.

are these two exactly the same, just Adam being (used to be) an angel and Blitzø being an imp

like they both have trauma, abandonment issues, murder people, are lustful as hell, got that one love interest, etc

heck even the design looks similar, with the horns and head like dammit help me ;-;

I tend to lean on Adam being slightly closer to Stolas than Blitz. He was forced to FROM BIRTH be the progenitor of all humanity. He had to basically take care of EVERYTHING under threat of destruction and was an agitated wreck. His wives not seeing it and thinking he was selfish when really Adam was struggling to make everyone happy, thinking he himself was happy when all anyone did was take from him (let's not forget that Adam in....I think the Islamic texts...was a rape victim. And I can definitely see hints of this going on since everything he does is trying to cope with extreme trauma through horrific means.

Tearing out his rib was a violent assault and that trauma scarred him.)

Adam only resembles Blitz through his design and speech mannerisms. Everything else is very Stolas.

She loves Adam almost as much as Alastor, had a lot of fun writing him and even her entire development team loves the guy. So I think it's a unified love for him that gave us a surface-level baddy with a FUCKLOAD of angst.

Plus Adam is....basically Fizz coded. Literally all the shit that happened to him might as well be reworked from Fizz or Blitz. Or even Stolas, given how Adam was made to breed and nothing more.

I'd say maybe 7-8. Like, no joke, a few months ago it WAS 10/10 but I'm just so numb at this point. I've seen shit like this again and again and Adam's no different. A character THIS loved isn't going anywhere and I'm confident he'll show up at the end of season 2 (hopefully those episode titles leaked on TikTok weeks ago are legit because Back in Black would definitely be a way to introduce sinner Adam and Garden Stories be Adam and Lilith telling their story of Eden.)

How long do you think Adam’s redemption arc will be? I think it’ll prob last the whole season 2 or even some of season 3, but im not sure

Well, given Vivz dropping the A-Bomb a few days ago I'm leaning towards Adam's redemption arc happening towards season 3. Like we can be lead to think he's gone all of season 2 only for him to cameo at the end in the crowd as yet another sinner.

Season 2 has the Vees as a focus with Lute in the background in grief mode big time. Probably by season 3 she'll return to attack Hell and that's when Adam becomes a focus again. Since Adam is literally the only one that can stop Lute.

tbh, I don't blame Adam for being this messed up, he's been so goddamn traumatized that he basically just kinda went insane

even the internet agrees that when someone has too much trauma, it can make one go insane and distort your view on reality completely

I think Adam's definitely at fault for his actions but he had a reason for WHY he became so bad. Adam needed help in Heaven, he needed therapy to help him forgive Lucifer and Lilith and move on and be able to be happy in heaven. But it was like the angels took him, threw him in a padded room for centuries, tossed in a few ribs and let him out only after he was reduced to a drooling lunatic.

Add on they actively encouraged him to get angrier and angrier by having Adam be the ambassador in Hell, and having to interact constantly with the two that destroyed his life....

Yeah, he didn't have a chance. Adam would have been much happier as a rock star, instead, his rage was channeled into war.
