This blog's "so-and-so is an Honorary Woman of Noise" designation goes to men who have been big supporters of women in noise and experimental music. It's just something I do for fun sometimes, especially if a post about a female artist features a male artist they are friends with a frequently collaborate with. It doesn't mean that we're going to start adding men to this blog and post them alongside non-male artists.

With that being said, if I want to acknowledge a dude who's been a big supporter of artists we post here, like Drew McDowall, Aaron Dilloway, Justin Broadrick, JG Thirlwell, etc. - I don't see why that's a bad thing. Sometimes it's just good to remember that there are men on this scene at large who actually do uplift and support women making noise instead of belittling or sexualizing them (or both).
