5. Do you have any role models? Tell us a little bit about them.
A light chuckle tumbles from him, only partially concealed by the way a hand masks the upward tilt of his lips. Just a few. And only if you promise not to tell. The hand scrubs contemplatively against the stubble along his jaw. I’d… never admitted quite so much to the old man’s face, but ah… the Minister, Keeper… He shakes his head slightly, eyes cast to a wall behind you both - or perhaps something you can’t see. I’d always thought he was looking out for me from the start. There’s that faint smile again - only at one corner of his lips, but present all the same. For all that he called me an idealist, I don’t… I don’t believe he ever gave up on them nearly as much as he said he did. Things… Well, this business is rarely ever… Your hands don’t stay clean in this work. Ever. Both hands drop back into his lap, one toying idly with a stylus, twisting it back and forth between and over his fingers in one hand. Fingers of the other tap a pattern against his thigh. He did what he could though. I’ll… I’ll always respect him for that. He was… A lot of the agent I was - am - is his influence. I’d… never wanted to let him down, for everything… Tyr nods, mostly to himself. I… suppose I wish I’d said as much more directly, last we spoke. He puffs a faint breath of an almost-chuckle. He was a good leader. We shouldn’t have lost Intelligence. They don’t know what they lost. But… perhaps, at least, the dejarik games were enough, in the end. At least one for one of us.
10. What’s your biggest goal? How do you hope to achieve this?
This makes him frown before he rolls his jaw. His hands still. Silence for several moments. I’d like to see an end to this war, I think. As bloody unlikely as it seems. He scoffs. Irritation flashes in his pale eyes. Something more fiery than the usual stoic facade. I think I’d burn it all to the ground if I could. Maybe. He blinks, inhales carefully, and twists the stylus around his fingers again before flashing a smile - convincingly cordial, if not quite entirely reaching the corner of his eyes like before. But that’s not for polite society. And it wouldn’t do any real good, anyway. I’m getting too old for all this shit anyway, I suppose. Be a gem and buy us some drinks, why don’t you? That ought to take the edge of it off.
Still, I reckon I'll... settle for just... doing what I can. I'll never change what I was; I wouldn't want to. But I've got a lot of blood on my hands. More than enough. Still, it's given me the tools I have now. So maybe... maybe there's still enough left to actually make change. Good change. Maybe there'll be enough of this galaxy left to actually retire out of some day, eh?
17. Have you ever been in love?
A proper, hearty laugh this time, no effort given to conceal the grin across his lips. I’d certainly hope so, if I’m married. The smile turns sly. Careful, you’ll make Shan blush. Though… wouldn’t be such a shame, I suppose. He's pretty cute, you know? The ex-Cipher winks.
His head shakes slightly with his own amusement. But, yes, in short - and… several times, I suppose. I… knew a brilliant woman once, named Shara; we’d worked together, back in the day. Hard not to want to get to know someone you’ll have in your ear analyzing your every move for a couple hundred hours, I think I’d told her at least once. He leans back, a bit quieter again. A bit of distance has returned to his eyes. It was… unprofessional. She wanted nothing to do with me at first, outside of the work. Still, he smiles faintly. But it was… it was nice. We were… I guess it’s young love. Let it happen, anyway, and I… Eventually, I didn’t want to distract from her promotion; we still had to work together, of course… He shakes his head as if to clear it, though the nostalgic cock of his head suggests there’s more he’s not quite sharing. She was… brilliant. Beautiful, of course, but… a brilliant mind. And a better, sharper sense of humor than she’d ever let you claim on the job. I guess we were both like that, in a way. But, such were the demands of our work… He straightens again. Yes, in short. It’s… Not everything in this galaxy is so doomed, y’know? I… I am thankful for that much, at least.

Kalki 2898 AD thoughts (spoiler-filled and long af)
Ok so.... I watched it in Telugu, and 3D. 3D wasn't that special methinks cz only the huge jaguar jumping scene in the start got me. Nothing much 3D-wise.
Now, watching it in Telugu........... Um... Even the dubbing sounds like wonky Telugu and I didn't like that.
Time for points I liked and didn't like--
Liked:
1. The idea of that world: how Kaasi is the first city and now the last city of this Yuga. Priyanka Dutt really headed a dedicated team. I loved the tarot scene because it reminded me of Godavari and made me want a Shekhar Kammula cameo too👀😭
2. I liked how the Vyjayanti logo took us into the world. And the whole premise it started off on. Love the Pareekshit and Ashwathhama Athah...! Kunjarah premise references
3. Loved how the Shiva Linga Ashwathama is meditating near is most likely The Kaasi Viswanath Lingam
4. The CGI with Mr. Amitabh Bachhan
5. Bujji. Unpop opinion maybe, but I liked Bujji more than Bhairava. Was I the only one who wanted Bujji to be the genderbent preserved consciousness of Bujjigaadu (Bujjigaadu: Made in Chennai reference 🤭)
6. How the flames give way to the bearer of Kalki avataram while just a Yuga before, the sea gave way to Vasudeva - the carrier of Krishna avataram. Nice nice. Probably the thing I liked most about this movie.
7. The cameos (will talk about this later)
8. The scale of the vision.... HATS OFF. I want into that man's head istg. All 3 movies: Yevade Subramanyam, Mahanati and now Kalki 2898 AD are three distinct visions and superb visions. I'd love to even see all the concept art for this movie!!!!
9. Call me silly but APRIL ONE VIDUDALA REUNION!!!! (iykyk)
Didn't like (hyper spoilers ahead):
1. Bhairava's character needs more depth. A LOT OF PEOPLE WILL PROLLY TEASE ME/ DISAGREE WITH ME ON THIS POINT. But he does. He's shown as a selfish mercenary whose aim is to settle in the Complex. (I have dreams like you no really a little less touchy feely. But they mainly happen where it's warm and sunny. On an island that I own tanned and rested and alone surrounded by enormous piles of money). He's got debts all over Kaasi and he uses all his money for things like building Bujji and automobiles and thrusters and stuff. But what makes him tick (other than scratching Bujji who he abandons half the time)? What is he scared of? I feel like it would have worked better if Bhairava didn't go to the Complex at all and was banned from it. It gives his hope to see the Complex a touch of whimsy and desperation.
2. Disha Patani's character. The story just forgets about her after the party song which is the most pointless song of the movie btw. I feel like even Nag Ashwin didn't want it there on first thought.
3. SRI KRISHNA DID NOT REMOVE ASHWATHHAMA'S MANI!!!! It was Arjuna who did it as far as I know. After causing the death of Abhimanyu and fellow warriors and family members by unfairly means, Ashwathama almost faced the wrath of Bheema after being dragged to the Pandavas' tents However, Krishna couldn't let the Pandavas commit a sin to revenge a sin. He said, though Ashwathama caused the death of unarmed unaware Kshatriyas, he himself is a Brahmin by birth and thus killing him would be an unforgivable sin. Therefore, completely cutting his hair and taking his mani would be comparable to death. So it was Arjuna who took out the mani on Sir Krishna's advice. (As far as I read and heard from pravachans since my childhood) I disliked how the story started with this inaccuracy and it took me out of the flow. Or maybe Nag Ashwin wanted to change this part of the story to include the curse and pave the story's base? Dk
4. The fights never stop (not in the good way): Bhairava's first fight was SO. LONG. Actually, Bhairava's every fight was so long. Most unnecessarily so. His fights with Ashwathama go on for so long I actually started wondering why the all powerful giant hadn't killed our hero. I'm mean, I know, but I get annoyed by such drags.
5. Late emotional connect: Mrunal Thakur's character dying didn't even pinch. Because I had no emotional connect to even feel the horror of what had happened. But yes, I did cry when Rajendra Prasad's character died soon after bcz that meant the death of the one character who spoke the best Telugu in the movie.
6. As I mentioned, I watched the Telugu version and was disappointed by the lack of diction, even in the dubbing!😭
7. The main point: Almost every scene reminded me of a different movie. A lot of people keep saying it's Dune + Star Wars but here, all I've got to mention -> Loki morphing into many Lokis, Sakaar's neck electrocution thingy (EXACT SAME), Troy: Legacy and Aagardian vehicles with the flying vehicles of that 5000 units bounty hunter. Coco wrt to the city's inner infrastructure (resembles the city in the afterlife, except make it sepia tone). Star Wars with the jedi light saber that Bhairava's dad teaches him to use. Bujji = JARVIS without the English politeness. Prince of Persia: sands of time and John Carter wrt the setting and vibes of the outdoor fight sequences. Mariamma's light rope handles??? From Iron man 2 as well as Wonder Woman. When Sumati imagines everyone dead at her feet it gives Tony from Age of Ultron. The Complex looks a lot like the Singing kingdom from The Marvels. There was an episode of Nebula in Marvel's What If? Animated series -> the concept of the complex or dystopia and the bar seems a lot like it.
8. Ashwathama and Karna weren't friends per the Mahabharatam. "Ashwa uncle" keeps calling Karna "sodara" (pure telugu word for brother) and not "mitrama" (pure telugu word for friend/ally) and it sort of irks me. Also, I think Sri Krishna's voice could have been sweeter (the pitch, Krishna could melt mountains with his voice. Here Krishna's voice sounded something like what we could match to Balarama)
Ok done with that.
Now, cameos..... I mean it's a Nag Ashwin movie and I went in expecting cameos after my experience with Mahanati tbh.
Ones I liked: Malvika Nair as Uttara (that was how I had imagined Shakuntala to look like in Shaakuntalam btw), DQ as Captain/Pilot, Brahmi garu as the fed up landlord, Avasarala Srinivas as gambler (missed him in Mahanati), RGV as the food vendor, Rajendra Prasad bcz the man speaks the best Telugu in this movie (as I mentioned before)
Ones I found Meh: Mrunal Thakur as the pregnant lady (only bcz there was no emotional connect, didn't know anything abt her character except that she's pregnant), Faria Abdullah as the showpiece-angel-dancer??, Disha Patani
Ones I wanted to question: Vijay Devarakonda as Arjuna (like........... I feel like Rana would have been the perfect Arjuna despite that opinion originating from his KVJG days. But maybe Tarak? Maybe you could have CGI-ed NTR sr and reminded us of Nartanasala!!) I have nothing against Vijay Devarakonda, but he just didn't fittttt
Overall: a beautiful effort and a mindblowing idea but the lagging screenplay, some music choices and slight misinformation reduces its impact. Liked it and would recommend bcz this is all people would be talking about and you wouldn't want to stay uninformed on a global phenomenon.

❛ why does it feel like this is goodbye? ❜ from the sentence starters 👀
(I’m not sure if we’ll get here in long form- I’d thought so once, but given the current pace of my writing I suspect I’ll bring Equivalent Exchange to a natural close before we reach this point in the story, then continue Nine and Theron’s tale in shorter pieces. It's a bit of a cheat, but that's authorial prerogative for you.
Something lost is found. SWTOR. Nine/Theron.)
*
She sits on the edge of the bed, looking up at Theron as he scuffs nervously at the floor with the toe of his boot. (Stars, she’s missed this bed, missed this whole apartment even if she doesn’t miss the Kaasi rain falling in sheets against the windows or the periodic assassination attempts- but ah, the view from the balcony toward the sea-)
“You look,” she finally says, considering his expression carefully, “like the tooka that ate the bulabird. What exactly did you do while I was off with Acina?”
He turns to make sure the door’s closed before he answers. “Oh, you know. Took a tour of the place. Sliced a few things- databases, mostly. Census data. Population records. The Intelligence database, for about ten seconds.”
“You-” she chokes. The fact that he’s still standing here means he probably got away with it, but- “I thought I told you to behave yourself. If they figure out what you did- I know you’re not keen on parallel work with the Empire, Theron-”
“I didn’t get caught.” He rolls his eyes and rummages in his jacket pocket for his commpad. “I didn’t get caught last time either, for what it’s worth, but I did find what I was looking for.”
(Last time? That’s- oh, lovely brilliant reckless idiot boy, he’s going to get himself into far more trouble than she can fix one of these years.)
She raises an eyebrow as he holds the commpad out toward her.
“I found you.”
She gestures up and down along her body. “Of course you did. I’m right here. I know that mess with Lorman looked like a near enough miss, but-”
Theron shakes his head vehemently, pressing it into her hand and curling her fingers closed around it. “No, you don’t understand. I found you- pre-Cipher you. In the archives.”
“Impossible.” Or it ought to have been; after Hunter she’d watched the Minister purge her file with her own eyes and even then there was nothing left of an old life in it, nothing left but a ghost. The Ghost. “Not in the Intelligence database. They burn all that out when we CIpher.”
“Not in the Intelligence database, no.” He crouches down next to her as her heart twists in her chest. It ought to have been impossible. It ought to have been. “But I followed a thread from the personnel records, and then another and then another and then I found this. Imperial Academy prospective cadet interview number 00-828317. Locked subfolder, but-” he shrugs.
The number doesn’t hurt. They didn’t take that from her, before, but there’s a pressure building behind her eyes- too close to something that they did, then. Far too close. She takes a deep breath. “Did you see it?”
“Only the first few seconds, and not with audio- didn’t want Lana to notice before I could pull it off the network. She looks like you, though.”
“I suppose she would.” She lets the commpad settle on her lap, looks down at it like it might bite. (It might.)
After a moment Theron stands. “I should go. You don’t have to decide if you want to watch it now- I shouldn’t have assumed-”
“No,” she says, reaches up for his hand without looking and her fingers lace through his. “Stay.”
He sits down beside her; she presses play.
[she is eleven years old.
she is eleven years old and wearing a white blouse and a black skirt and her hair in two neat plaits down her back and she is standing, hands folded, in front of a table where four men and a woman sit in identical uniforms, backs to the camera.
we’ll begin, says the man second from right. please state your name for the record.
she nods, and opens her mouth. mustn’t smile too much or they’ll think she’s silly, mustn’t pull at her plait or at her shirtsleeves, mustn’t-]
(oh Void oh Void oh Void it HURTS and he holds on to her- should I stop it? I can stop it- and she shakes her head furiously so he just keeps holding on)
[yes, sir, she says. it is important to show respect, father said. my name is N-]
It’s impossible. It’s impossible.
It’s her name.
She does stop the recording then, not because she wants to but because she’s going to bleed all over his damned commpad if she doesn’t. Her nose drips down onto her shirt until she pinches it closed and then she turns her head toward Theron as he mutters apology after apology into the top of her head. “I had a feeling,” she murmurs, “that was going to happen.”
“So that’s your name? N-” he almost says it aloud but stops himself, free hand pressed against his mouth. “Stars, I'm sorry. I don’t want to hurt you again.”
“It may get easier with time. We can try more of the video later- I only remember a little bit. I thought it might all come back at once, but-”
Theron nods. “I hope so- that it gets easier, I mean. That it comes back. But your name, it… it suits you.”
“Does it?”
“Yeah.” He kisses her hair, then her forehead, then the tip of her nose beneath her still-pinching fingers. “Though it’s weird- why does this almost feel like a goodbye?”
“To Cipher Nine? No. it's not-” she shakes her head. “It’s- hello, Theron Shan. My name-” she breathes in and the pain lessens and it wouldn’t matter anyway, all the pain in the universe would be worth it to see that look on his face again and again- “is Nyriala.”

I'm not well-versed enough in Sith Empire lore to headcanon on my own but I think they would have some version of Halloween. At least some kind of ghost day when it is easiest to commune with those who have joined the force and all that is dark and malevolent; a day to celebrate the afterlife and the evils that arise from it. Of course, the Imperial populace catches on and use it as an excuse to drink and party, so it became semi-commercialized and its traditions more lax once the Empire entered militarism. Costumes are popular among the middle and lower class, while more elaborate masquerades occur amongst the elite, all sporting faces to blend in with spirits from the beyond. A breed of Kaasi gourd is oft carved into a face and left out to dry for the spirits to take as an offering instead of a real person's head, and flavored sweets made from the gourd innards are quite popular ever since its use as food during blockades.

Me, doing stuff, listening to amca 61 Solo: A Star Wars Story: :)
Austin: "She, of course, is a master of teraas kaasi--."
Me, suddenly dropping everything and standing very still. Not moving a muscle. Vivid memories of seeing the movie. Two words on the bottom of the screen. A subtitle that says 'Teräs Käsi'. I fight the urge to flee.
Amca crew keeps talking about it for a bit. I google the game Austin mentions. It is real.
And then the moment is gone, like that one line in the movie. Life continues on. I go and get my laundry.

su'cuy <3
hi there!! i'm cheeri this is a swtor sideblog for @certified-anakinfucker!
i'm a budding pureblood lore major, but balmorra has . unexpectedly grown on me. the sith in general are where most of my degree lies. i really do think the empire is interesting as shit so yeah like 99% of my content will probably be poking at it with a stick.
for the most part, what you're gonna find here is mostly .. i guess mindless rambling about something really really really specific, and some lorebuilding. if it ever makes it out of discord in one piece.
i'm trying to work on figuring out toyhouse so there's at least somewhere to easily look at the metric fuckton of swtor ocs i've amassed, because otherwise i'm just posting about them at random.
i don't really tend to use the main tags, but if you are reblogging my content then you're welcome to it!
enjoy my favorite boy being soggy in the kaasi rain.

World Building Wednesday: Khel Sutek
Tumblr media
B A S I C S • Full name: Khel Sutek • Gender: Trans male • Sexuality: Gay • Pronouns: he/him
O T H E R S • Family: His parents and several other near-immediate family members were unfortunately on Ziost when it was wiped out. He has a somewhat distant cousin in the Jedi Master Timmns, who was long estranged from the rest of the family until Khel discovered the connection there. • Birthplace: Naadjem • Job: Empire’s Hand • Phobias: Force lightning, small spaces (neither of which will be noticeable unless he is under a LOT of pressure) • Guilty pleasures: Spa days, Kaasi wine, going out in public without being recognised, having someone else giving the orders
M O R A L S • Morality alignment: Light side, probably lawful neutral ish • Sins: lust/greed/gluttony/sloth/pride/envy/wrath  • Virtues: chastity/charity/diligence/humility/kindness/patience/justice
T H I S - O R - T H A T • Introverted/extrovert: He’s really an ambivert, he adapts to the situation as needed. He’s fine both in large gatherings and just on his own. • Organized/disorganized: He’s got a very strategic mind, good at navigating details. • Close-minded/open-minded: He’s quite receptive to new ideas and perspectives, and doesn’t mind admitting when he’s wrong. • Calm/anxious: He is extremely controlled and poised, it takes a lot to make him visibly show any stress. • Cautious/reckless: He much prefers to know all the facts beforehand and work out a strategy for any given situation, though he’s good at thinking on his feet. • Patient/impatient: He’s very much about ‘doing things thoroughly/properly’ rather than ‘doing things quickly’. • Outspoken/reserved: He has a masterful poker face and never displays more of his inner thoughts/feelings than is strictly necessary. It’s a survival technique. • Leader/follower: While he’s had to become a leader, and is a decent one, ultimately he prefers to serve rather than lead. He’s still working on that balancing act. • Empathetic/unempathetic: He can feel for and understand even enemies. He just really understands people and how they think/work. • Optimistic/pessimistic: He’s not bright and cheery but he tries to look on the positive side of things. • Traditional/modern: He’s very much in favour of progress and improvement, especially with regards to the Empire. • Hard-working/lazy: The Empire isn’t going to improve itself! Khel’s always striven to go above and beyond and do the very best he can, it’s one reason he’s made it this far in life.
R E L A T I O N S H I P S • otp: Malavai Quinn. Khel was crushing on Quinn within a week of meeting him, but tried to let any relationship develop in its own time. Ultimately he had to beat Quinn over the head with it to get the other man to realise that it was, in fact, very mutual, but now they’re deeply dedicated to each other in all respects. • ot3: None • brotp: Major Anri. They really hit it off as fellow aliens looking to bring the Empire into a new era of prosperity and diversity. • notp: Vette, for many reasons (Khel’s gay, she’s still kind of a slave in the beginning even if he gives her as much freedom as he can, they really don’t agree when it comes to the Empire, etc). Throwing Darth Shaar in here too because her flirting with him was REALLY off-putting.

wip wednesday
woe! for it be wednesday and the desire to make words domed me in the head last night, so you may all have more 'dot what au are you on now?' wonderings! the premise context on this one is a bit long-winded, so the short of it is aus with friends! au where friends blorbo was the inquisitor! [it... does not go well. for most involved, lol press f, etc.] so! this piece is several(?) years post-nathema conspiracy, a little drabble on... tyr and theron and trying to heal through the aftermath of an eternal alliance era that... wasn't so kind to them.
“Theron…” Tyr sighs heavily with a hint of frustration that Theron wants to flinch from. He struggles to swallow down the urge wriggling at the back of his throat if only because Tyr’s hand draws steadily up and down his arm.
“Look at me.” Two fingers reach out and gently tap under Theron’s chin with the softly rasped words.
Theron nearly frowns a moment, nearly shrugs his chin out of his partner’s embrace, but reluctantly gives to the request. Tyr rewards the tilt of his head by caressing his jaw. A soft, easy smile starts to paint across the ex-Cipher’s lips.
He’s tired - a very different kind of ‘tired’ than Theron remembers when they stood together in the Alliance. The Kaasi edge has started to bleed from his voice after the many years separated from the capital planet for something a bit more roaming, for something warmed by a sun more commonly seen than that which may or may not have broken through the storm clouds.
Theron leans faintly into his calloused palm. A few more silver threads mix with sun-muddied blonde at Tyr’s temples. He used to say Darth Nox - Emperor? It… Well. It doesn’t much matter what the dead prefer.., does it? - would drive him to it earlier. He’d smiled less and less about it as the Alliance matured.
But now..? Now, the ‘tired’ looking back at him has a gentler kind of warmth - the kind he hasn’t felt… maybe since Rishi.
The thought’s almost enough to make Theron tremble.
Tyr shuffles a bit against the pillows, squirming to lay a bit more on his back, to steady Theron against him. The brief grunt of effort dispels the smile for something more…
Theron’s eyes drop, blindly skimming along, eager to find some indeterminate distraction to settle on. His hand moves towards Tyr’s wrist. He shouldn’t need to-
“Theron.” He can hear the frown without having to look back. That was more like it.
Except the caress moulds firmer and directs his fleeing eyes back to Tyr’s knitting brow.
“Stay. Please?”
Theron blinks, breath stilling in his stiff shoulders.
Tyr’s next smile is fragile, framed with barely a breath of a tight chuckle. “I… I’ve lost quite enough, by now… Or so I thought, at least.”
Theron’s jaw shifts. Tyr’s touch softens to fingertips tracing the line of his jaw, his thumb brushing along his cheek.
And his eyes follow. “I’ve thought I’d lost everything so many times.” He swallows. His touch drops lower once more, cupping under his jaw to steady his thumb against Theron’s chin. “I’d thought… Finally… Finally, I’d lost everything, and I had no more to lose… Only to find there was always just… one more thing… Always something more to lose…”
The tightness around Tyr’s eyes threatens to shorten Theron’s already arrested breathing. He faintly realizes his other hand has tightened, twisted into Tyr’s shirt against his side. His grip nearly flexes to release, but-
“Always some… part of me to lose, I guess,” Tyr breathes shakily.
The same hands that hadn’t followed when Tyr left Odessen… however many cursed years ago it’d been now. The same hands that had strangled any hope of better out on Nathema - had strung it up in odd tresses and shot it bloody before it could even realize it’d waltzed into a trap. Tyr closes his eyes and draws in a deep breath with some unsteadiness. His thumb works uneasily across Theron’s chin, drawing their eyes back together. “And then I…” Another sharp exhale that cracks the painful veil threatening to constrict around him once more. “And then I didn’t… I haven’t lost you, Theron. Not yet.”

SWTOR Character Ask Meme, #8 and 20 for Ahene and Orinara, please :)
Ahene:
8. Is their voice different to the voice of the character in-game, and if so, how?
Yes, though the early-game f!inquisitor sounds much more like her. There’s a very particular progression that Xanthe Elbrick was going for, and it doesn’t actually… fit. So Ahene’s voice is definitely the f!inquisitor’s, but her accent is slightly less Kaasi-Imperial than the f!inquisitor’s, and her intonations mostly range from “blandly subordinate” (think all the times the baby inquisitor goes “As you say.”) to “cool and professional,” to “extraordinarily, exactingly sardonic,” with very occasional forays into “completely non-Imperial-accented and sincere.” She does not do the “no-I’m-dangerous-and-unstable-really” thing that the game’s voice acting is frequently trying to (especially later on), and the times where she actually is trying to convince someone that she’s dangerous and unstable, she tends to get very flat—quiet and intense, not sadistic. (You can predict sadism. You can predict fury and cruelty and all the things most people see as “unpredictable,” because all those things are emotions that can be roused. She wants people to see her as threatening in the way a natural force threatens: implacable, and with no levers at all.)
20. What's happening in their Heroic Moments?
Ghosts, mostly. Less with the orbital strike and such, but it’s not inconceivable that she could call in some close air support…
Orinara:
8. Is their voice different to the voice of the character in-game, and if so, how?
Nnnope. She sounds like the f!warrior. And all f!warriors, unfortunately, sound like her.
20. What's happening in their Heroic Moments?
Honestly… nothing, really, storywise. 99% of the time, she does not have Secret Zap. The Heroic Moment ability isn’t anything but a game mechanic for her.

kaasi raincoats
It is forever raining in Kaas City. There’s no waiting for a clear patch or leaving an errand for a sunnier tomorrow; every day is a wet day and while the eaves are wide and the markets covered, sooner or later it will become necessary to make a dash between city blocks and get wet. Hence, the raincoats.
Every citizen in Kaas City owns a proper raincoat. Even visitors pick one up soon after arriving; they’re very necessary while in the city and make a practical souvenir to take home afterwards. Kaasi raincoats tend to be top-quality – long sleeves, deep hoods, extremely water-resistant – because they need to be, and a decent one should last at least a couple of decades. Buildings often have some kind of foyer where people can leave their coats to drip so they don’t trek the water further indoors.
Because everyone leaves their damp coats hanging in foyers together this presents a problem of how to stop people accidentally walking off with each other’s raincoats. Imperial NPCs do love their greys (in their defence, many of them are in uniform), so most raincoats are in neutral blues, greens, greys, or black for the Sith and look pretty sameish from the outside – but the insides of raincoats are made from separate materials featuring bright, distinctive designs. Flowers, animals, abstract patterns, characters from mythology or opera or holodramas, landscapes – anything that can be made into a colourful and memorable fabric.
Each raincoat manufacturer uses multiple inner-lining patterns and adopts a new set every season, unlike the overall make and style of the coats which aren’t altered often (there’s not much you can do with a raincoat if you want it to remain functional). The odds of someone having a coat with the same lining as yours aren’t high, so you should be able to tell at a glance whether the raincoat you’ve picked up is yours or not.
This pattern of simple/drab outer-lining and vibrant/lush inner-lining has seeped into broader Imperial fashion and can often be seen in other kinds of coats, bags, skirts, jackets, and wraps.
