One thing that's making me lose actual braincells is that Kabru is drawn SO differently depending on the ship an artist pairs him with.

When it's Labru, folks love to draw him as some femboy twink (he's really fucking not) God forbid a guy be shorter than his male partner.

When it's Kabumisu or Kabrin, he's tall, strong and has defined facial features. (The Kabumisu thing is funny too bc have you SEEENNNNN Mithrun's tall man form?????? Be so fr, mithrun isn't some cute soft little baby.)

Why are we still doing this 😭

So, like you can see in this post: [link], I'm currently working on some Dungeon Meshi Mix-and-Match shipping charms. The charms come with half a heart-shaped magnet, which can connect with another magnet. The reason I decided to do these is entirely for my beloved friends with the rarest pairs in the world.

The list of characters I'm currently doing is: Laios, Marcille, Chilchuck, Senshi, Falin, Shuro, Namari, Kabru, Rin, Mithrun, Fleki, Lycion, Cithis, Pattadol, and Kiki, as these are the characters I see in the most ships.

I haven't decided yet whether I just want to do pre-orders for these, or if I want to set up a kickstarter or something (not that I'd have the faintest idea how to do a kickstarter @_@).

kabru is smart. he definitely flirts with people to gain advantage, but he's smart, so he always flirt in a way that can be denied that he's flirting. coming over for a cup of tea and only having friendly conversation and never beyond that. all smiles and respectful distance that makes the ladies swoon and the lads curious. and avoiding those who would have gotten overtly attached to him in an unhealthy way

all of that so his social life won't get in the way of his goal instead of furthering it

so i find it curious that kabru decided to kiss rin to show her they're trapped in an illusion

and the "it's too bad she looks like a monster" makes it pretty obvious that to him she's not just a girl she grew up with. as if he would kiss someone he considers his sister anyway

and i think it's comforting for him to have someone he doesn't have to always flatter so they would stay by his side
