So, a while back, I had a post, basically saying to send me asks of a song, and either a character or a ship from fandoms, and I'd write a headcanon fic / outline for a fic in headcanon form. and I wanna give it another go. But I also think it could be fun to kind of assign a song to a character or ship. So, in addition to headcanons, if you send an ask with a song and one of the fandoms below, I'll try and decide which character or ship suits the song best. There may be multiple characters or ships it fits but I'll explain my thought process. Asks will always be open. Any ships that aren't paedophilia or incest. Like, read what you want but I'm not writing about that. Ships don't have to be romantic though. Ships may not even be the right term, but Burn or Brother by Madds Buckley is literally about Dabi, Shouto and Enji, so like, if it's a song about family, or doesn't have to be romantic that's fine. Gen things are always fine. Can be crack ships or crossover fics. Also I will do character or characters x OC (any gender) and poly ships

Those were all the ones written pre-hiatus and included a number of plot threads that I dropped when I came back from hiatus. So one day I would like to go back and trim and streamline some of those earlier sections to match with the later ones.

10. Share a bit of your WIP or share a story idea that you’re planning: Lol, so I’ve been pretty open about most of my WIPs and random ideas. In the past, I’ve mentioned childhood friends/Seto’s parents never died AU for Kaijou, we trade petty cash for miracles. I actually have the first 2 chapters done then stalled out on the Duelist Kingdom rewrite.

Here’s a snippet.

Katsuya inclined his head back, long bangs falling into his eyes. "Well, well, well, if it isn't a member of the disciplinary committee, Higata Seto-kun," he mocked. 

Seto pocketed the extinguished smoke, straightened, and folded his arms over his chest. He looked too put-together in his beige blazer and appropriately buttoned shirt. Another spark of irritation flew under Katsuya's skin. He clenched his fists to fight off the urge to mess up Seto's tidy appearance.

"You're skipping class." Then after a pause, Seto added with narrowed eyes, "Again."

Katsuya rolled his eyes hard. "Whaddas it matter? I'm already failing."

"If you would apply yourself—"

Katsuya jumped to his feet and glared up at him. Damn, he could still remember when Seto was a tiny shrimp shorter than him. Katsuya definitely got the short-end of the puberty straw (not that he was considered short...). "Shaddup, it's none of your business."

Seto's eyes darkened, as they always did when he started to lose his cool. "It matters because your selfishness is causing your mother to worry. She already has enough on—"

Katsuya grabbed his perfectly starched lapel and drew him in. "Leave my family outta it, Higata. It's. None. Of. Your. Business," he punctuated each word with a feral growl.

They stared at each other for a few long moments; neither willing to back down. This was not the first time that they'd argued like this. Time and time again, Seto stuck his nose into places where he wasn't welcome. Their mothers used to say that watching them butt heads was like a match between two stone-faced boulders.

That much hadn't changed in all their years of acquaintance. 

Katsuya pushed past, wrinkling his nose in disgust. "Keep the smoke," he sneered. "You can stash it next to that stick that's always shoved up your ass."
