Audrey started out as an oc heavily inspired by jjba's Kakyoin... I basically needed a scientist oc and I was like. Well what if he had the same powers as Kak (grabbing things from far away, helping him hold onto things, regain balance, etc) What if he was also very wiggly because well the guy is quite wiggly:

From there I was like. Well he's a bioscientist, he likes animals right? He is also unbearable to be around, so he must love some pretty weird ass critters.... what if he loved worms?? What if he liked... LEECHES.....

Pictured above, his first ref sheet (outdated) and one of the more recent drawings I've done. His weird worm power thing crawls under his skin and you kinda don't notice it until he's strangling you from across the room.

Anyway thank you.. I need to post about him more I treasure him so so so so so much...

Annual Routine #13

Dragging my self to finally writing this piece.

2022 tuh 🥲🥲🥲 Kinda hard to describe, but eventually it was a blast year, also the very balance one. Several high and some low, but not at the very bottom of it.

Gonna make this into three parts: 2022 and its abstract goals, the unexpected, and the whishes.

2022 did not become any reset year sih pada akhirnya, lebih ke kayak, super-duper-adaptation-year. Menikah bener-bener jadi sebuah check-point baru. In my case: gaada kesempatan untuk putar balik. (Ya pasti ada sih, tapi ga berharap gitu hehe). Jadi mau apapun yang dirasain, ya bener-bener harus jalan terus. As I predict last year: melelahkan, at some point. The adaptation it is: yang bikin lelah. Ada ekspektasi yang ternyata ga kejadian, banyak orang baru yang bener-bener baru sampe kadang bingung sendiri harus ngolah perasaan segimananya, banyak kebiasaan baru juga, etc etc. Bahkan habis menikah pun sempet ada fase questioning myself: is “my own life” actually end here? Hehe. Alhamdulillah-nya sih fase itu terlewati dengan pemahaman-pemahaman baru dari banyak sisi. Yeah, life is full of surprise and consequences.

Dari menikah itu juga akhirnya muncul banyak perasaan baru dan pemikiran baru, salah satunya: embracing adulthood. I am. An adult. My 12 years old self is still inside, but others look at me as an adult tho. Knowing how to embrace it is the key for this year and years ahead.

And surprisingly, all the abstract goals in 2022 were kinda checked! Being a good wife (in my term) last year were: ✔ punya catatan keuangan yang rapi, ✔ belajar masak, ✔ berhemat, dan belajar agama. I was ✔ increasing the number of my writing, drawing, and reading last year also. Already ✔ finding the why for our next journey. ✔ Mastering being a GP thru internsip. But have not back to normal BMI :)) Semoga tahun ini!!!

The Unexpected

Tahun ini menurutku juga penuh kejutan dengan hal-hal yang gak pernah dibayangin sebelumnya. Tinggal di apartemen, jadi asisten peneliti (meskipun sebentar), bantu nulis manuscript, pindah ke Bantul, kalo main harus ke daerah utara (bukan ke selatan!!), sering banget jalan ke luar kota hahah, ke Jakarta 2x (uh I love it!!), kursus ACLS dan lulus!, ikut kelas keramik, ikut kelas menulis sri izzati, dapet commision gambar pertama, re-connecting with highschool friends, emm apa lagi ya... Pokoknya bener-bener banyak banget life-event yang jadi core memory 2022 kemarin! Alhamdulillaah :”) I should mention Agatha sebagai teman main ultimate tahun 2022. Dari cuma solo salatiga magelang, sampe ke Mojokerto sama Jakarta, amazing kak :D #applause #NgalahinAditSebagaiSuami .

All the trips were fun! Dari situ juga akhirnya realizing that yes, we’re an adult now. Semua temen kuliah udah di jalannya masing-masing. Ada yang cari kerja sampe jauh, ada yang siap-siap sekolah lagi, ada yang ngurus anak, dll dkk dsb. Happy striving for life, guise!🤍:)

The Whishes

The first and the foremost for 2023: I wish I can articulate my feelings better, towards anything. Also knowing how to handle things.

The rest are kinda repeating 2022: more active and achieve normal BMI in the mid year, more consistent and persistent in anything we do, more mindful in any activities and feelings, be it happy or sad, and fixing what need to be fixed :)

Bismillaah...

I believe that 2023 gonna be the year, mine and yours. Wishing you a tremendous health always, friends <3

💤   ━   how does your muse sleep ??   are they a light sleeper ,   or are they out the moment their head hits the pillow ??   do they nap ??   do they struggle to sleep due to things like insomnia ,   or nightmares ??

i’m ngl he kind of sleeps like shit lol .   i mean ,   the few times we see him sleeping in canon he’s either unconscious or having a nightmare ,   &   obviously there’s the factor that he’s on some gayass journey to fight an evil bisexual vampire that he is terrified of   &   that definitely wouldn’t help anyone get a good night’s rest ,   but i feel like it could go deeper than that .   i imagine most of the other crusaders are just happy to have a few hours of peace   &   a warm bed when they can find it ,   not to mention they’re fuckin exhausted from all of the fighting   &   traveling ,   but it seems like kak in particular continues to have a hard time ,   whether it’s because he’s trying to psych himself up to face dio again or if he has a history of sleeping problems .

it’s hard to ever be fully comfortable in an environment where you feel as though you’re constantly being judged .   i could easily see kakyoin being that angsty teen that stays up late drawing in his sketchbook or writing in his gay little journal or playing video games on mute because maybe he feels like the late night when his parents are asleep is the only time he can really be himself without consequence .   but he’s an early riser ,   too ,   &   has   never   been late to school ever in his life ,   so he averages a disgustingly low amount of sleep every night   &   has trained himself to function on that . 

as an adult ,   kakyoin still has some troubles with sleep   (   he’s a remarkably light sleeper after egypt   &   also has literal ptsd so ,   you know ,   not a good combination   ) ,   but has mostly grown out of his teenage habits ,   aside from when he stays up late for work .   but generally ,   through his years in the field ,   he’s learned the vitality of proper rest   &   listening to his body when it demands repose   ━━━━   not to mention once jouta is born   &   screams the night away throughout his infancy ,   he vows to never take sleep for granted again lol .   that being said ,   he’d never had an inclination toward naps before but after becoming a dad ,   once that baby is asleep   HE   is asleep .   they napping together because he knows damn well the moment jouta wakes up all hell will break loose .

ok I don't ship it but I have a friend who ships kak*saku, and in the last year there were two very good Korean artists who joined the fandom and basically brought new people too but these two artists literally sexualize child sakura and talk about it openly too but people seem to just ignore or pretend they don't see,and she was mad and telling me it was weird, and I was thinking about like you should nod be surprised by this is literary a student/teacher ship with a grown man who knew her since she was a child I don't know why you're realizing now that your fandom is full of weirdos

There has always been content of sexualized child sakura. Like, that’s a major problem a lot of people have with it. It’s not just the grooming aspect but the fact that there’s a lot of (often untagged or improperly tagged) content out there depicting a whole ass adult with a pre-teen/child.

Your friend should not be surprised at all. How tf are they JUST finding this out???

What 2 Watch 4 Week 2

cheetalive vs. Kaepernicklin - After a disappointing week 1 in which his bench literally outscored his starting lineup, we'll see if coach Joyce gets really bold this week and starts Tyler Allgeier and Rashid Shaheed over Derrick Henry and Keenan Allen. On the other side, coach Lin will have to figure out something to jumpstart his passing game after none of his receivers managed a double-digit fantasy day in week 1. A good place to start might be remembering that JuJu Smith-Schuster no longer plays with Patrick Mahomes.

Brown Wives Matter vs. Turdburners - Every season WHL fans wait with bated breath for the moment. But this year it only took 1 week for the Turfburners to complete their glorious transformation into the Turdburners. Coach Africa's squad pulled off the rarely seen double zero, with both Drake London and Dallas Goedert registering no fantasy points. In week 2, they draw a motivated Wives squad looking to avoid their first 0-2 start since 2019.
