Khorne favors his Flesh Hounds above all his daemons and his personal pet Karanak above all other Flesh Hounds. When someone, be it mortal or daemon, provokes the ire of the Blood God enough, it is Karanak he sends to see the wrong righted. Karanak is the physical manifestation of Khorne's vengeance and a peerless hunter, a three headed terror from whom escape is impossible. One head tracks the quarry's scent, the other can track them through time, and the final head can track them through their very thoughts and dreams. Once found, the prey item is killed with quicksilver precision and the body is brought to Khorne's hooves. The Blood God takes the skull and rewards Karanak with the body of the kill.

The goodest boy! I love him. I want to try doing some cracking lava basing for him.

So cool. Found the silver so I can put some highlights on the mark of Khorne soon.

I broke a couple of the spikes on the trophy rack somehow and now they don’t sit right, but tbh I want to do him again from scratch in a few years when I’m better at it.

Everyone who tells you to paint him in subassemblies is right btw, I should have.

Claws of katanak for war cry had them for awhile just finished them I use snow texture paste on the basis and lightly added some to the models worked better than I’ve thought

The Claws of Karanak are here for Khorne charging into battle for skulls for the skull throne!

Heading back to my Khorne demons for a short bit since the new edition of Age of Sigmar is coming out. Here's Karanak, Hound of Vengeance. He's a cool special Flesh Hound leader that, in the new edition, gets to move out of the turn sequence as he stalks a chosen target hero. That's neat!

The Furies under her personal command had scouted day and night for Zhubon, to make sure that their 'general' was still alive. When she had gotten the reports back that he had been wandering the icy depths of Norscan seas, she was in disbelief at first, but the reminder that a spawn of Tzeentch had been at the battle made her realize the validity of that notion.

She'd cross her arms as she approached her husband, also kneeling for a bit to give Karanak another round of pettings, even giving him a firm affectionate scritch on the chin, before standing up to stare into her beloved's eyes.

"The size and the value of the prey is of no concern for me, my Beloved. What matters is that your will is done. I would hunt down any target, no matter its size, strength or stature. I'd chase the smallest ratling to the greatest dragon in your name."

"Zhubon is powerful, and a spitting image of a Khornate, I do not argue this. But he's undisciplined. He allowed his guard to be thrown down when dealing with a spawn of that blasted Changer of Ways."
