As we traverse the pages of life, we cross paths with a multitude of souls. Yet, some among them ignite a flame within us, a primal force that beckons us towards them. At a deeper level, our essence recognizes them and whispers that there is more to our story together - a contract to fulfill or unfinished tales to unravel. In this physical realm, it can be hard to remember this due to the barriers that are placed on us. We weren't even given a chance to understand what our soul is, let alone soul ties.

These particular souls we meet bring with them an energy of karma, passion, or pure love. There are numerous types of karmic ties that fall under these titles, but we are focusing on the 3 most prominent ones to further give you an understanding of how you may encounter them throughout our life. There are karmic, twin flames, and soulmates. There’s a saying that you have 3 loves in a lifetime.

KARMICS

The 1st is usually when you're younger or in a stage of immaturity. This is where you guys may idealize each other, and most time's it may start off as friends or having no title to the relationship. This one teaches you boundaries. This karmic relationship will be very interesting, intense, emotionally draining & passionate. You will crave this person sexually. They will be co-dependent for each other's energy as well presence knowing that they are kryptonite. These relationships can bring alcoholism, abuse in all forms, narcissism, and jealousy. They will have you on an emotional roller-coaster, mind lost, soul gone, and reaching out for help consciously but subconsciously yearning for more pain, not even knowing why. The way you meet can be a fated meet like no other and will seem like you would never meet anyone with their deep sexual energy intense hold on your soul. Yet, at the same time, you would never want to run into someone like that person again. They remind you of all the hurt & lessons, and mind fuck games they had you in, you had to learn these lessons, even through all the difficult, murky, lustful waters of sexuality and deceit. I like to say this one is the karmic relationship. This karmic debt is to help change you, and mold you into a more conscious individual who can know when lust and sexual craves can put you in a bad situation that can destroy you mentally, physicall, as well as soulfully. You may look back at this one later on, like, "What was i thinking & why did i stay so long?" Karmic relationships can happen at any time in your life but are more prone to happen when you're younger, and soul is less evolved. As you get older, these relationships tend to be very sexual and harder to get away from. It seems like each karmic relationship gets more and more intense when your soul is still yearning for the old karmic thrills. You can encounter numerous karmic partners in one lifetime, depending on how many karmic lessons you need for your soul to evolve and ascend to the next journey.

Twinflames

The 2nd can be very skeptical and alluring at the same time, which brings a sense of familiarity & similarity between the two partners. These two can be so alike that they trigger each other without knowing it. The meeting; one can be more attracted to the other. This brings your class dynamic of the twin flame. The runner & the chaser dynamic is what usually results in this duo, which can look crazy to others while you both are playing tag in your relationship. It can feel like an obsessive connection, and the more you talk to each other, the more your souls intertwine without consent. The more you get to know each other you feel like you don't want to leave, yet something keeps exploding between you two, causing separation. The twin flame is a mirror showing you flaws within yourself. Many times, the karmic energy is confused with this because they hold similar traits. Both can end up obsessive, but you'll realize that with the karmic partner, you'll stay in the same place for years with no progression. With a karmic, you two could make plans together that usually won't come true. With a twin flame, there is a chance for it to last but with great challenge and change. This energy is similar to Uranus with a touch of Neptune & Pluto, giving you shocking changes and turning you into a new person. Even through separation, you still feel a psychic connection with the other. It's hard to let go because, inevitably, you're leaving a piece of yourself behind for the better. Lastly, the 3rd.... I was going to say that this is a partner you find you truly mesh with and have a lot in common with. Which is true but not entirely. This is the one that comes very unexpectedly, and possibly even when you’ve given up on love or when your soul knows you have evolved and deserve more. When you first lay eyes on them, you can feel that they will cause a huge shift in your life for the better. It's the feeling you get when you've known you met the one. You two complement one another, and think of opposition in astrology. Cancer/Capricorn, Aries/Libra, Pisces/Virgo. It's the merging of the divinity inside each person, masculine & feminine. You can lose all standards and traditional mindsets you have been conditioned with and conformed by when it comes to this partner. You suddenly just flow like the water down a creek, and everything else falls into line as it's supposed to. You two may find many similarities yet differences, but nothing is ever perfect. You teach each other for a higher calling and purpose usually this is the time when your soul is ready and has been through so much turmoil and pain or yet you could be a blessed soul that went straight for the goal and gained this emaculate relationship without the the other intense relationships. The world can distance or distract you away from one another, but it's only so long that this pull and connection can be restricted and restrained.

In some cases, we may try to avoid these karmic debts, but it's important to recognize that evolved souls deal with them in a positive approach. In fact, these experiences can be seen as a spiritual mindset for growth and transformation. By facing these challenges head-on, we can develop a stronger sense of resilience and inner strength that can help us navigate future obstacles with greater ease. My Theory on Dealing with the Intensity of 8th House Synastry

I believe one way to fully embrace what 8th house synastry brings is to fully accept your 7th house qualities that you may lack or feel uncomfortable with embodying.

(I also believe embodying 7th house qualities can also help you accept your shadow self, and accept characteristics you might be afraid to develop or accept especially if you don't have any natal Libra/7H/prominent Venus placements).

Furthermore this post may reign more true if you have active 1H/2H/12H natal placements, but if you share more 5H/7H/8H natal placements then the energy the 7th house brings may feel less energetically heavy.

If you're afraid or not used to accepting attributes that the 7th house elicits, and someone walks into your life who lights up your 8th house, then their energy will feel all-consuming, and you'll develop a scarcity mindset when they're not in your presence.

Their soul to you will feel like a "skip the line pass" to your emotional healing, therefore without them you'll feel this lack you can't shake.

So if you're struggling with 8th house synastry one way to actively move past these trials and errors is to heal the descendant part in you, especially if that part of you is hidden within or underdeveloped.

Entrusting your 7th house characteristics will ease the 8th house intensity, since for you, there is a deep want of being emotionally vulnerable but with that want holds fear that you can't let go of, therefore processing these qualities will have the 8th house energy not become something you deeply "need" in order to fill that void you have within. Your 8th house is in a fire sign therefore you need that passion and full throttle of emotion when it comes to a partner. You might be someones savior or even parent when it comes to how you show your love. But the 8th house in you is asking you to wait, and slow down. P.S I believe this would be more increasingly accurate for those who share polar opposites in their big three, e.g., earth sun, water moon, earth rising, water sun, earth moon, water rising, etc etc, or if your inner planets fall in the polar opposites houses e.g,. your earth sun, moon, mercury, venus or mars fall in your 4th, 8th, or 12th house etc. The polarity within in itself already is present; therefore again as always the entire natal chart with its own natal aspects/house placements is needed. Sometimes individuals will naturally have balance and they may not struggle with accepting their shadow self.

This is all hypothetical and from my mind, so if it doesn't resonate just disregard.

Understanding the OPPOSITION aspect in SYNASTRY

An elaborated piece about the essence of the opposition aspect in your natal chart is here.

It is a good point to start before plunging into its meaning in the synastry. 

To summarise. Whether or not we see it, any quality that we have in us is only alive because of its opposition.

SYNASTRY opposition is the sacred tool for us to recognise the opposition in ourselves. Often it is considered being the most difficult aspect between the two charts, and on some level it is. 

The deeper you are willing to explore, the more you appreciate any difficult aspect, and the aspect of opposition -  in particular. 

Besides understanding WHAT does this aspect mean in the charts of the two of you, you really want to understand WHY.

Answering to this question may take your partnership to a new level. 

First, opposition is the same thing that is … a conjunction…but - in the opposite way. 

When the two things conjunct, we often think that they become one. There is a union, a mixture. Rarely do we get to see that the new union (which results from the conjunction) has the new opposition in itself.

In the synastry chart, opposition can signify several types of interaction between the energies of the two. 

(Please note that although synastry chart mostly refers to the intimate partnerships or friendships, it also includes any other one- on - one relationship like: teacher - apprentice, doctor - patient, client - provider, etc.)

The first type of the opposition is a fight between the two very different qualities. This energy of “fighting”, however, may give an intense arousal in the domain of sexual interaction. And often it is considered being an aspect of passion. But outside of it, this type of the opposition will hugely complicate things, make the energy sharp, or heavy, or tight (depending on the planets), and the sense of fight (“either this, or that” feeling) will always prevail. One partner will feel like the win is theirs, and the other one will have to feel they have lost. Here the compromise usually feels unnatural, and boundaries-breaking for one of the partners.

Another type of the opposition is the ability (usually unconscious) of the partners to distribute the energy in such a way that both parts feel satisfied and in charge while moving towards the same goal. Usually, it refers to the opposition of the planets that signify manifestation of an outward action. Sun - Sun opposition, for example. Mars - Mars can be extremely constructive for a project building as well. But on the level of the emotional spheres, this opposition is still a huge cornerstone. The two people will intrinsically feel there is a pull - push game going on at the energy level, but both are not willing to give away their “share”. Sometimes this is totally unconscious and stems from an insecurity. Energetic vampirism is a common result of this type of the opposition in the chart. In the intimate sphere, it can be very exciting at first, but irritating in the end.

The next level type of the opposition between the two will provoke a healthy interest, an intense curiosity about the “otherness” of the other. Here, this opposition is already felt consciously as a tool to see one’s own opposite sides that have to unite. Sexually, it will have less physical intensity than in the first type of the opposition, but emotionally and sensually it may bring a vast spectrum of colours between the two. However, on the mental level, the two partners usually become pretty discerning and may be inclined to have a mental game (or manipulation) around each other's opposite sides. Depending on the planets, this game can be very resourceful, or exhausting. But usually, it will only lead these two to a more comprehensive understanding of themselves and the meaning of their partnership. 

And the ultimate level of the opposition would be a union. Here, both partners have accepted the opposite sides of the signs, where the synastry opposition is set, so well that their ability to enjoy this aspect creates the sense of integrity. Whether this is a unified outward action, the energy in the realm of feeling, or a sexual ritual, this opposition will feel like the most complete wholeness. Moon in Capricorn versus Moon in Cancer union will feel like the deepest emotional connection where a healthy structure holds an emotional blanket of another person, and both of them feel centred and deeply seen by each other. (The same aspect at the first level will give lots of tears, coldness and misunderstandings to both). 

The opposition of a Taurus Venus to a Scorpio Pluto at this level may create a union where the esoteric power becomes so harmonious and respectful to the material world of beauty that it creates something healing, earthly, but deeply transformative and sensually hypnotizing at the same time - be it a project, or an intimate act. On the lower level, however, this opposition is a synonym of obsession, jealousy, and lots of tears again … 

Remember, there is a middle point in any opposition.

On the higher level, this point is a golden ratio, where the two opposite qualities find its perfect balance. On the lower level, it is a grey zone where the opposite qualities mix in a chaotic fight.

Whether your synastry chart is playing out at the higher level, or the lower level, it is exactly what you need.

North node and South node in astrology

I used to think that south node energy was bad and that we were all suppose to move away from south node themes and energy in this life time, but that isn’t true at all.

There are certainly good aspects of the south node — our talents that we have mastered in previous life times.

Yes, our south node does hold us back, but you can use it to your advantage to reach your North node. South node energy is energy we have mastered, which means it is our greatest strengths. 💪

We aren’t fully leaving our south nodes behind. We are reaching a balance between south node and north node. ⚖️

Going full north node would be too extreme and impossible. We will always have our south node traits with in us. We must learn to embrace the good and let go of the bad.

Oh so I think these two lessons are quite different lessons that should be looked into separately.

Life lessons for the connection, the relationship in a synastry chart is indicated by North Node, it's like life purpose of the connection. For growth look at Jupiter, for limitations, challenges, restrictions in life in the connection look for Saturn. Pluto for inner changes, transformations and needed change.

And karmic lessons look for South Node, maybe even Saturn in the 1st house, 6th house, 10th house, but more so South Node.

I have been saying that this is probably my last life and a chance to do right by something and I think I just received another confirmation.

BOTH of my Lunar Nodes are at 29°. So, this life really is the conclusion of a long cycle.

And, with my South node in the 10th house and North node in the 4th... I suppose I really need to be more private about my life.

This is all besides the inner feeling or knowing I have had my whole life, that there is something I must do. But, never really knowing what.
