astro notes: taurus season 4/19-5/20

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, representing the beginning of the astrological year and the emergence of individual consciousness. Disclaimer.Here I describe only one specific placement, always take into account all your other placements when reading your natal chart, because they can have a greater influence on you than Uranus (in this case)

Uranus in the 1st house:

Weak placements? Difficult placements in a chart ? They can be cancelled by other placements or houses or lagnas.

Do you have a cancer mars in your D1 chart ? If you have a Capricorn lagna then the debilitation of your mars is automatically cancelled. Cancer mars is a great placement to have for a Capricorn lagna.

Do you have a weak Venus in your D1 or D60 chart ? Next to your Rahu or in the same house as your Rahu, Rahu may be mimicking the Venus energy and getting you Venus related benefits (talents, grace, possessions, love) in your life.

Do you have your moon in your 8th house in your D9 chart ? If you are a cancer lagna then moon in 8th house is a great placement. It balances out your chart. Making you less emotional, detached, a bit cold (Aquarius energy) and a little suspicious actually helps you in your relationships. Cause Cancer lagna in D9 can be deceived by partners in relationships.

i use whole sign houses because it makes more sense to me as a traditional hellenistic astrologer and for that reason it is more accurate TO ME. but being self taught starting off, i did learn placidus. the whole sign house system however is closely aligned with the techniques and principles of traditional astrology, which is based on the teachings of ancient astrologers like ptolemy, ancient stuff. but as with so many other things in life, there are many teachers and ways to get to the same truth. so I say use what works best for your own comprehension and leave the rest.

the understanding with the whole sign house system is based on the idea that each sign has a distinct energetic quality, and this quality is expressed through the entirety of the house that the sign rules. by using whole sign houses, astrologers can more accurately assess the energetic dynamics of a chart.

overall making it easier to apply to any chart, regardless of the location or time of birth. this makes it a practical choice for astrologers who work with clients from diverse backgrounds i have personally found.
