The illustrious being that is Samantha Béart, the actor of Karlach in BG3 and Thomasina in Hob's Barrow, is hosting their weekly twitch livestream this Wednesday on the 17th of January, 8pm GMT.

Now why on earth am I calling upon my fellow LiS fans, old and new, and BG fans? Because they're doing it for Mind, the mental health charity in the UK.

You know me mainly from LiS if you follow me here and nowadays, you know BG and Karlach are the equivalent to the obsession of 2015. Playing BG3 with a friend, and I got my character burned, and it just won't stop! My friend was trying to save me from the burning effect by throwing water at me. It didn't work.

what kind of tav would your ocs be if they played bg3 (good or evil, would they rage quit, would they like the story or the combat, etc.)

answering for how they'd be during the time period where video games like bg3 exist

kane - technology is not kane's forte, and his video-gaming expertise starts at pac-man and ends at wii sports. he would definitely be playing multiplayer with someone guiding him along as they play together, like jim or katie (liz's eventual granddaughter). he would pick pretty basic good options and really suck at combat. he would end up not finishing the game after astarion's storyline hits too close to home.

jim - unlike kane, he's pretty good with tech and video games for an old man. he would get really into the combat of it all, and also enjoy the story. he'd play a good run and an evil run to see all the content.
