KATRINA- “Well it looks like everyone is here Eliza.  I don’t know why we couldn’t have done this a little later, with this move and everything is an uproar, I think we should have waited.”

ELIZA- “Your daughter’s birthday is TODAY, Katrina, not in a few weeks when it is more convenient for you. It’s a big deal when you become a teenager, or did you forget?”

NINA- “I don’t see what the big deal is. Nobody had a birthday for me when I turned 13.”

ELIZA- “Well if I had been around, you would have,”

DINA- “Can everyone just stop arguing and try to have a good time...Please!?”

DINA- “Please try and just ignore mother, I do, and it works for me.”

ELIZA- “I’m sorry, you are right, today is about you and we need to quit bickering. I want you to remember this day because it was good, and fun, not because your mother and I fought all afternoon.”

DINA- “I love you Aunt Eliza, I am going to miss you once you go back to school.”

ELIZA- “Love you as well.  Maybe you can come and stay with me over Winterfest.”

KATRINA- “Armand, I think I have lost my daughter to my sister.”

Behind the Scenes - Chapter 01

The Original Sims

The aim of this story, is to organically create every single playable and related characters from all The Sims games. Unfortunately, there are some conflicting storylines, e.g. Katrina Caliente - really does throw a spanner in the works of TS4, as does Don Lothario who seems to be doing it with just about everybody.

To help in this creation, I have been using www.familyecho.com. This website allows you to build an interactive family tree of your ancestry - in this case I am following The Sims characters, e.g. The Goth Family.

Some characters appear across multiple games, so to keep everything current I will be using their pictures from the most recently launched game, e.g. for Bella Goth (nee Bachelor) I’ve used their picture from TS4 as it is quite different compared with the other games (pictured below), but for Gunther Goth I’ve used their picture from TS3 as they are an elder in TS2 and it better represents their character.

The original idea was to blog about the creation of these sims more organically from the beginning, however this is proving to be a monster to figure out. So for now, I will be blogging my trials and triumphs while trying to figure out where every character fits in.

01.02 The Handsome Jogger

After spending some time standing still in front of the Cacti Casa Dormitory, thinking about the hurricane that went through her life, Zoe was graced with the vision of a beautiful hunk of man jogging towards her. She tried to change her sadness face as quick as she could, to give him a good impression of her instead of a bored emo.

He had brown hair, a tan skin and was wearing an athletic suit with sunglasses in his face. She did not know, but that was Jameson “J” Huntington III. Looking so good, no one would say that J had problems in his childhood, but the truth is that he was a chubby little kid, with crooked teeth and had a frightful case of acne all over his face.

Despite having repaired his teeth, high school was not so different. He used to date with his good friend Amber Stein, but he was ashamed to assume their relationship, because she was chubby too. But Amber had a good relationship with her own body and one day she got tired of being made a fool, and left J alone around the time of the high school prom.

Everyone was busy inviting their partners, and J was feeling more and more pressured. Then, he decided to invite someone, but every girl had an excuse, while some of them had a "no" without mercy or pity. So, finally, J decided to apologize to Amber and invite her to the prom, but she had been invited and that was no excuse… She was going with Sean Sullivan.

He was devastated. From that day on he took every possible remedy to stop the pimples, exercised untiringly and spent days learning how to take care of his hair. He even dated the most beautiful woman in Oasis Springs County, Katrina Caliente, before she moved to Pleasantview. Not only had he become handsome on the outside, but on the inside too... a little.

Sade: what? we haven’t even been dating that long.

Jon: Check his Instagram. I’m sorry.

On her boyfriend’s Instagram, the most recent picture was a very graphic image with Rogelio and an older red-headed woman. The caption read: “wifeyyy @ katrinacaliente” 

Jon: She came into my office recently, she’s pregnant with his baby. I’m so, so, sorry. Call me if you want. I’m always here for you.

Sade stared at the floor. Confused on whether she should be angry or sad.

Sade: what’s her address?

The ceremony

All the guests are ready for the wedding of Dina Caliente and Bob Pancakes.

On the left is Dina's family, her mother, Katrina, her two sisters, Regina and Nina and Nina's husband, Colton. They aren't thrilled about the wedding but want to support their daughter/sister.

Bob's children are filling the middle part. They aren't happy at all about the marriage of their father with another woman but must be here, and smile.

The children of Dina and Don, her first husband sit on the right side. Ron and Ann are happy about their new father. But they miss their bio father. Don hasn't been in touch with them since he left.

The bio children of Dina&Bob sit in front of Bob's children. It's very special for Kate to see her bio parents finaly get married. She is already 15 years old and this is a dream come true. Little Kaleigh isn't aware of the situation. She is the golden child, the cherry on top of Dina and Bob's relationship.

Dina walking towards Bob. She is very happy with Bob finaly at her side. No matter what anyone says about her past marriage, about her affair with Bob years ago or having another baby before she got married to Bob.

The Reagan family

Colton and Nina currently have 7 children. They will have one more child, who will finaly be a boy. (Really this was all just random). He will be doted on by all his older sisters.

The Caliente family

Since I'm stopping with fundiechurch a bit of info of each family about their future.

Katrina and Winston are happily married. They will go from joys to sorrows as their granddaughter Kate is looking into christianity but Katrina's daughter Regina will choose not to be a christian.

Nina and Colton will be discussed in the Reagan post.

Dina and Bob are happy together. They will struggle with their combined family while Bob doesn't look back at the family that was once his. He rarely interacts with his children with Eliza. Kate will only move more and more to her grandparents and will join fundiechurch in the end. She will marry Sebastian Eaten. Dina will be very bitter about that. Especially about the fact that Kate will try to convert her siblings, Ron, Ann and Kaleigh.

Regina will leave fundiechurch as discussed in the Freeman's post.

Katrina Reagan: Oh, hi, Dina, I wasn't expecting you to come by

Dina Pancakes: You were expecting my daughter, Kate, right?

Katrina: Eh, yes

Dina: Well, she isn't coming, not today, not ever

Katrina: Oh, no, why?

Dina: I don't want you talking anymore about that nonens you have been getting into her head. She is wearing those stupid clothes and I don't want to have any of it

Katrina: Oh, Dina

Winston Reagan: If Kate wants to wear them that's up to her

Dina: No, it isn't. I don't want that stuff for my children. I said goodbye to that long ago

Katrina: But Dina

Dina: No! Mom! I don't want it. I don't want you to talk to her. Stay away from my children

Winston: Calm down, Dina, It's not the end of the world

Dina: Well, it is, actually. So, stop it.

Katrina: Alright

Katrina: Well, that's not what God gave us as his commands

Katrina: When you sleep with a women, you will take her as your wife. Only in a marriage you are supposed to sleep with you wife

Kate: But Don wasn't my father

Katrina: No, the fault began with Bob sleeping with your mother

Kate: They are very happy now

Katrina: Yes, but he has left his wife and nine children. Eliza has a hard time, Kate. And before Bob left Eliza, your mother didn't have it easy

Kate: Yeah, I remember when Don left. Mom wasn't happy then

Katrina: Exactly. Men shouldn't divorce women. A marriage is not ment to be broken. It hurts everybody involved, and God as he is involved with everything in life

Kate: My mom doesn't believe in God

Katrina: Yes, I know. It breaks my heart, Kate

Kate: Thank you for telling me, grandma. I'll be nice to Bob's children.

Katrina: Oh, that's so sweet of you, Kate.

Womansday in the parc

Samantha hosted another succesful womansday in the parc. Some woman still haven't left the party, Shania Leppert, Rachel Leppert (Barrow), Dakota Rogers, Katrina Reagan (Caliente)

Katrina: I'm going home, guys.

Samantha: No, please, tell us about that wife for Hugo

Katrina: She is wonderful for him. They have met and they bonded instantly over the fact that both have lost a partner.

Rachel: you can leave the match making over to Katrina.

Dakota: haha, once my two youngest are 18 you can match them with a young lady

Katrina: Isn't Gavin still single too?

Dakota: No, he is courting Anna Maher

Samantha: Oh, I remember her. She was very snabby as a girl

Dakota: She still knows very good want she wants and apperantly she wants Gavin. They are going strong

Shania: So the broken courtship between him and Joanna didn't break much

Dakota: No, I'm very relieved that he seems to have found the deal for him.

Katrina: Yes, I have. She has lost her husband in car accident and needs a new husband to care for her and her children.

Katrina: She can't move here, so you would have to move over to her place

Hugo: eh, yes

Katrina: That's Emily, she is 31 years old, and that are her four children, Gemma, who is 8 years old, Aaden, who is 6 years old, Chris who is 4 years old and little Everett who just turned 2. She has her hands full with those three boys. But her daughter Gemma helps her a lot

Katrina: And she is a very meek, plesant woman. I think she is perfect for you. And she will understand that you have loved another woman before her like she has loved another men before you

Katrina: We will drive with you to her so you two can meet and start courting. But she is desperate and needs you to decide very quickly.
