I want to be Your Koi Fish - Nine Tails
Warning: +18 content, criminal underworld, intercourse, strong language - and so on
Fanfiction based on: "Baki" by Itagaki Keisuke
>14<
It's been a long evening. All night, in fact. She finished her story in the morning, shortly before sunrise. It was hard to digest all this information, especially the last one. He was involuntarily wondering what would happen to little Fubuki after all this. It seemed that the only thing left to do was to wait for events to unfold. She still had something to say.
- I took the opportunity to ask Sakurai if she knew anything about my connection with Yui. Why is she Yang and I am Yin, even though it seems like it should be the other way around. Especially since the family was expecting a boy, not me. - she said finally, her voice a little hoarse. - You remember what my great-grandmother looked like, don't you?
He nodded immediately. Yes ... he remembered. Hanabi was very much like her, but the First Kitsune had a much more mature type of beauty. Long, silky, coal-black hair, calm look of pale green eyes, dignified, slim figure with very feminine shapes, moving with unforced grace, like a real geisha. The makeup on a fair face, typical of Foxes, added an alluring hint of ferocity to this oasis of inner peace, hiding untamed energy in its depths. It was hard to forget that sight, especially with its full set of white tails and protruding ears on top of the head. He wasn't sure if Hanabi's great-grandmother was standing in front of them fully material, but ... it's not something that easily flies away. He caught his wife's scrutinizing gaze. He must have thought too much.
- Now imagine that she is standing in front of us saying something like, "Well, I was at the birth of each of you. I got fucked up with Kokko ... there was no power to reverse it, so I left it." - She blurted out seriously.
- At least we know who you are cursing thanks to. - he concluded with a half-mouth smile, pulling her closer to him.
- Be glad I'm not that cold bitch. - Muttered, reaching for the blanket lying in the corner of the couch.

If Kaoru thought she would approach him completely unprepared, he obviously didn't know her as well as she thought. When he was working, and she just had time off, Hanabi used the extraordinary facility she had forced the keys to from Kizaki. It turned out that one of the rooms on the ground floor had a gym that could be used by his people and, of course, Hanayama himself - which he didn't do because he didn't think he had to. After all, the best training is a real fight! She had a slightly different opinion, and since didn't have to run with the bag halfway through the neighborhood, she made efforts to open the door to the room she cared about and which she found out about only now. Her husband's deputy, being an unrepentant traditionalist, objected in every way possible, but eventually succumbed to the yoke of her "boss's wife" title, which she had promised herself not to overuse. The only condition she had to agree to was the presence of a man during her training. It wasn't always supposed to be Kizaki, but she wasn't allowed to be left alone so that in the event of an unforeseen breakdown or the risk of injury, someone would always jump between her and what was threatening her. "Maybe You used to run to the gym once, Hanabi-sama, but there was always someone there, so we won't leave You alone this time either." That's what he said. She capitulated, squinting and sighing disapprovingly. On the same day, she developed the first few training plans so as not to hurt herself, and the body got a signal that it was time to work. She also wrote down a shopping list to deliver at least a few hundred of the planned 10,000 calories as cleverly as possible. She wasn't going to eat all the time, had to get around it a bit, so she went back to the good old protein supplements, carbohydrate gels, and her beloved peanut butter (whose home supplies were running out anyway). They were always great for exercising, and she found a spare locker at the gym to stuff everything. When she got motivated enough with mobility training and made it more flexible with yoga sessions, it was time to slowly implement strength training: she started with calisthenic sequences involving body weight, then with rubbers, and finally returned to her beloved free weights. It took a while to get ready, but it was worth it. The reflection in the mirror, and most of all strength and efficiency, were the perfect proof of this. She was shaking with excitement and joy as she approached a silver barbell with a full bar, with a cast iron load weighing 40 kg, which she planned to lift in the deadlift, and Yoji standing behind her was trembling against her spine and hands. She rattled the earrings, throwing the ponytail from her shoulder onto her back, grabbed the load, tucked her pelvis, tensed her legs, buttocks, correctly positioned shoulder blades and shoulders... Muscle memory was doing its job - she could do more than she had thought.
Kizaki cheered on them more than she could have imagined, while also surprising them at every possible step. As usual, in the morning he came to tell Kaoru about the plan for the next day, slightly disturbing breakfast. She got used to it so much that she planned to prepare more so that he could sit, but when she suggested it one time, the deputy himself announced that it would only take a moment, not to worry, and besides, it was only time for them. Hanabi capitulated. So she listened to the meeting list, slowly eating rice from bowl and washing it down with miso soup. This time it looked quite fat, something every hour, with little breaks. In fact, she had often wondered how Kaoru had embraced it all when he had taken over the business at only fifteen, while admiring him for it. Fortunately, she thought she had made a decent bento. When the flow of work-related words died down, she reached for green tea, not expecting a continuation.
- And I have a flight to Wakayama scheduled for next week ...
A dull slurp broke him. At the last moment, she refrained from swallowing, so as not to accidentally choke on the sensation. After the first surprise had passed, the warm drink trickled down her esophagus. She looked speechless at her husband. Kaoru also seemed to have no idea of the sneaky little plan that made the man in front of them, brushing his hair back.
- I am aware that this is some kind of abuse on my part, but I remember that Hanabi-sama proposed to leave together a long time ago. Things seem to be stable in the city, so I thought it would be good if you could use this time to relax a bit. - he explained hastily.
- I am amazed by your care for our rest, Kizaki-san. - Hanabi sighed, putting her cup down gently. - What do you think, Kaoru?
- I don't mind. - Hanayama replied, putting his arm around her. - It will be nice to go somewhere just the two of us again.
- So it's settled! - the deputy applauded cheerfully. - I'm getting down to work to make sure everything is buttoned up to the last button.
He left the apartment as joyful as she had never seen him before. Kizaki rather belonged to subdued people, unless the situation demanded or forced something else. She leaned on his massive torso, looking up.
- Was he always like this? - she asked softly.
- Are you kidding? He's changed since you came along. - he muttered calmly, kissing her forehead.
She thought about the cold, suspicious look, as she appeared in the conference room talking to her father about smuggling. She was then just a high school student who shouldn't have been there. In addition, she became very familiar with the yakuza. Kizaki didn't know then that she had slept with his boss, especially since she had intended to kill him earlier. He looked at her askance for a long time, with a great distance, even when he himself invited her for a private conversation in a cafe. Then she thought he was just used to her presence, but judging from his behavior at the wedding, he must have liked her. She looked flirtatiously at her husband. There was nothing left but to slowly pack the bags.
At the last minute, shortly before leaving, it turned out that Kaoru had to straighten one thing in order to be able to disappear for a moment with an absolutely pure heart. Kizaki had arranged the hotel ahead of time, so Hanabi had to go alone - rebooking one ticket for the next day was no problem. Eventually she wore maroon leather pants, a thin charcoal long-sleeved blouse, and as soon as she tied the strings of equally gray high heels, she reached for her luggage and closed the apartment door behind her. She stuffed the suitcase into the trunk and was about to get in the car when she turned around and almost collided with the man behind her. She stunned to see a young karate man, the headmaster of the Shinshinkai Karate school, dressed in loose-fitting sweatpants, an unbuttoned sweatshirt and a snow-white, tight-fitting t-shirt through which she could easily see the outline of the musculature. He beamed at the sight of her, protecting to keep her balance, but she quickly broke free from his embrace.
- Hanabi-chan, are you back? - he asked, playfully winking in her direction. - I didn't think that while walking from training I would have the opportunity to meet the real star in the sky!
- Come on, those cheap lines of yours don't work on me, Orochi. - she grunted. - Besides, I remind you that I am married.
- So a compliment to a beautiful woman isn't recommended anymore, because she has a ring on finger? - he laughed lightly.
- Sorry, I don't have time for word games, I'm in a hurry. - she replied stiffly, turning back on him. - The plane will run away.
- Then I'm not disturbing you, Mrs. Hanayama. - he bowed slightly. - A fruitful return to nature!
Hanabi frowned as she watched him disappear behind closing door with deeply tinted glass. "Return to nature"? She never stuttered a word where she was going! But she didn't have time to deal with such trifles, wanting to be on time.
Soon after, Hanabi was seated in the comfortable seat of the VIP cabin of the plane flying to Wakayama, to finally stand again at the airport there. The sun was fine, she put on sunglasses and briskly headed for the hotel. She thanked Kizaki silently. He chose one located in the center of the capital of the prefecture, with excellent communication, with restaurants and small, quiet pubs scattered around, as well as cafes, from which appetizing, sweet smells reached her nostrils, although she planned to visit only one specific one. Hanabi's ears were pampered with the pleasant buzz of the neighborhood, conversations in the Kansai dialect, quick, energetic, with sweetly falling tones at the ends of sentences that she had almost forgotten living in Tokyo, especially with a businessman as a husband. Kaoru's reputation had already reached Wakayama. It was enough that she mentioned her name at the reception desk, and the woman in a tight-fitting suit standing behind the counter stiffened, fading slightly, taking on color as soon as, almost running in high, elegant stilettos, she left for Hanabi, leading her to the room. She collapsed onto the rather firm mattress, sighing as she let the air out of her lungs as she looked around the room. Kizaki definitely chose it. The highest standard, tradition and elegance, all in modern, subdued colors. Mrs. Hanayama's heart skipped a beat at the thought of the whole week spent only with her husband.

Affectionate nicknames and characters of the "Baki the grappler"
Baki:
The young man adheres more to the classics, such as "dear, sweet, sunny", but sometimes unusual ones such as "bead" or "fox cub" slip through.
Hanayama:
He definitely prefers the classics and deviates from them minimally. So "sweetheart, darling, darling" is all about you.
Katsumi:
Many, MANY unusual nicknames. And they depend on the situation you are in. But the most frequently used by him are "hamster, button, raccoon".
Jack:
He also prefers the classics, but sometimes tends to make fun of height. That's why you're a "baby, a puny, a rabbit" for him.
Retsu:
Mmm... It's difficult here, it depends on the mood. But definitely the answer is a preference for something classical, sometimes deviates into literature. "My lady, tulip, nymph," it's about you.
Shibukawa:
Classic. Definitely a classic. But sometimes he can tease for his character. So he will call you "imp, demoness" sometimes "cherry".
Yujiro:
But he doesn't really want to think about this topic. So he most often addresses you by your first name. But sometimes he slips into something like "dear" or "sweet".
Doppo:
He is a lover of idealizing and elevating his partner. That's why you're the queen for him," "my everything" and a lot of similar nicknames.
Tokugawa:
CLASSIC. LOTS OF CLASSICS. "Sweetheart, darling, darling" are the most frequently used. Sometimes he calls you "goldie."
Oliva:
Another lover of praising and exalting you. But at the same time, he remains a gentleman to all. Therefore, you can often hear words like "dear, sweet, queen, beloved, my happiness" addressed to you.
Katou:
Mmmm... Most often, it's something obscene and obscene, like "baby, darling", but there are also moments when he calls you the sun" or "sweetheart".
Jun:
He is extremely affectionate with you. And he will never allow himself to treat you rudely and cheekily. For him, you are "a princess, a doll, a ray of sunshine, my soul."
Chuharu:
Also not a lot of swagger, but it has limits. Besides, he only behaves like that in public, in private he can even be too sweet. "Sunshine, darling, darling, the light of my eyes " is about you.

MerMay Day 1 : Marine Biologist
Prompt by: @mossypidder
Tumblr media
He’d taken the job working with the eccentric marine biologist to get away from his life on the land. A man on the run, he figured the waters would be a safe place to hide. At least, for the time being. He’d heard rumours of the scientist, his precise nature, he was strict and kept to himself. And yet, those who encountered him couldn’t help but note how…
Uncanny, he seemed.
Katsumi was intrigued by such a description. How could he not be?
The first night on the ship, he didn’t even get the chance to see the marine biologist. Apparently he retired early, leaving Katsumi to wonder for another day. The man walked along the deck of the ship, listening to the waves and whipping wind as the sun began to set.
He stopped when he more smelled than heard people nearby. Katsumi’s kitsune features twitched, his tails swishing softly behind him. He crept closer, quietly, so he could eavesdrop on the people speaking.
“I heard he doesn’t go anywhere near the water.”
“Oh really? Why not?”
“Nobody knows! But I hear that’s why they hired that weird diver.”
“That fox man?”
“Yeah! Apparently they found him on the Naikama port.”
“Weird.”
“Well no weirder than a marine biologist that doesn’t swim.”
Katsumi rolled his eyes, pushing himself off the metal wall he’d leaned against. Such trivial gossip. But with night rapidly approaching, he decided an argument wasn’t worth his time. Instead he opted to quietly return to his cabin, he would make the most of his time on the seas. Even if he didn’t necessarily make friends whilst doing so.
He took the following dawn in stride, eating something light in his cabin before getting ready for the day. Katsumi held the wave patterned ribbon in his hand, hesitating as he held his ponytail in his other hand. He didn’t want it to get ruined if he had to dive.
He let his blond-brown hair fall around his shoulders and chest, he looked around, eyeing the spare pillow cases in the closet.. Katsumi grabbed one of them, then his dagger, ripping the fabric lengthwise. This would probably be fine, he assumed. He needed a hair tie, somehow.
Katsumi was surprised to find the ship anchored, he hadn’t really noticed. The early morning sun was beautiful, it warmed his skin as he made his way to where he heard people gathered. The scent of the sea, the sparkling water. It was all so beautiful, all so different from the lands he felt stranded upon.
He stopped in his tracks upon seeing a purple haired man, notebook in hand, a hat upon his head. But cutouts had been made for the purple feline ears atop his head. His face was void of any readable emotion, but Katsumi was attracted to his features and calm aura almost immediately.
Was this the marine biologist?
“Oh, you’re here.”
The kitsune straightened out.
“Suit up, I need you to dive for some samples from this area.”
“Yes, sir!”
He turned to leave, but his tails stagnated.
“I’ll show you, come on.”
Katsumi was quick to follow him and his long strides as he led him away from the deck of the ship.
“Are you Doctor Asase?”
“I am.”
“It’s really nice to meet you!”
Eiji Asase.. He was even more interesting in person. Maybe it was due to Katsumi’s own less than human inclination, he wasn’t put off by the man’s feline nature, whatsoever. Of course he didn’t want to go into the water. He was a cat!
The thought brought a smile to his face as he followed the man into a room. It felt more like a closet than anything, but there was enough space for him to change into the diving suit hung on the wall. “Here. I’ll meet you back at the stern. Take your time.” And with that, he was shut in the dark room.
Katsumi carefully undressed from his regular clothing, neatly folding them and leaving them on a bench in the small room. The diving suit was updated, far different from any he’d ever seen. He wondered where the good scientist got the funding. But he merely slipped into the suit, carefully pulling it up and zipping everything up.
He wasn’t paid to ask questions. Wait. Was he paid at all? Katsumi left the small room, adjusting how his tails sat against his body as he made his way back to the stern of the ship. When he stepped back out on the deck, the sun was higher in the sky, it was undoubtedly going to be a warm day.
Katsumi listened intently to what Eiji had to say, what he wanted, what he needed collected from the ocean floor beneath them. With the list in detail explained to him, Eiji tucked his notebook under his elbow. The feline wordlessly helped him into the helmet, making sure it was secure to his suit.
He boarded the lifeboat with ease, sitting down so he could attach the equipment given to him to collect the samples around his waist. “At that depth you have thirty minutes of oxygen. Use it wisely.” Eiji walked away as the boat began to get lowered.
At only eighty feet down, it wasn’t the deepest he’d been. He barely had to rely on his vulpine eyesight like he had in the past. No, this was quite enjoyable. Even if he was scraping weird goo off of rocks.
He lifted the closed container in front of his face, shaking it slightly. His only thought was how gross it looked. Katsumi tucked it away in his carrier. He paid close attention to his time as he completed each task as quickly and efficiently as possible beneath the surface.
He resurfaced with five minutes left to spare, gripping the edge of the boat, he hoisted himself into it. Katsumi laid in the warm boat under the warm sun, waiting for it to be brought up. He was going to enjoy his time. It’d been a while since he dived, he forgot how tiring it could be, swimming against the waves.
The next several days were more of the same. Dive in the early morning, have the rest of the day to himself, let Masuyo deal with the evening. Every morning was somewhere new, every morning was the deep blue sea. It brought him a sort of joy that the land couldn’t. Even if it also brought with it an inescapable emptiness.
The sun would set soon, most of the crew were enjoying their dinner. It was quiet back here. Katsumi enjoyed the relative silence, just the sounds of the ship and the sea. They may not have been moving, an approaching storm rendering them safer in the current dive spot. But the hum of the ship still pleased his ears.
He knew the expedition was only slated to last a month. But he couldn’t help but want it to last longer. His tails swished behind him with fondness as he stared out at the orange and pink sky, the cotton candy clouds. It was all so-
A yell and a nearby splash caught his attention, the sound was nearby, but quiet. Katsumi pushed himself off the railing, moving quickly along the side of the ship. He noticed the rope before anything else, then it was the dropped notebook.
“Doctor Asase?!”
Katsumi held onto the railing, crouching down to search the water. Blue-green eyes quickly processed every inch of water in front of him. He turned his attention to the unravelled rope currently plunged into the depths.
The man grabbed the rope, pulling on it with a huff. Katsumi fell back when the rope came up with nothing on the other side. “Damn-” He went to the ledge again, once more trying to search the water. He could dive but that was deep, even with his training. Not to mention trying to get a struggling person out.
There was a flash of purple and white and the kitsune had to blink a couple of times. Had he seen that correctly? Maybe it was Eiji- But it wasn’t hair he was seeing. It was almost like- fins. Billowing, beautiful fins. Purple and white, and they looked almost soft.
Eiji surfaced from beneath the water, on his back in the darkening sea. Mismatched eyes caught his and Katsumi couldn’t help the way his slit pupils quickly turned round with surprise. His hat floated nearby in the water, his lab coat soaked, clung to him awkwardly.
“You have a tail!”
Well, that wasn’t a feline one.
“Oh dear.”
Katsumi shook his head, leaning back he grabbed the rope and once more threw it overboard. Eiji swam for his hat, grabbing it before he grabbed the rope, allowing the kitsune to drag him back onto the ship’s deck. On his knees, his tails soared behind him, wagging side to side with glee.
“You’re a merperson!”
“Not so loud.”
Eiji held his hand up, silencing the kitsune with a look. He lowered his hand, instead wiggling out of his now too tight lab coat. His scales were various shades of purple and white, some were faded with scars, others were shiny against the pink sky.
“You’re beautiful.”
The scientist hesitated, taken off guard by the comment. He hadn’t expected it. “I- I won’t tell anyone, I promise.” Katsumi touched his chest, over his heart. “Cross my heart.” And Eiji could feel his shoulders relax. The kitsune looked around, dinner would be done soon..
Eiji let out a strangled noise when the man picked him up with ease, using his lab coat to cover as much of his flowing tail as possible. “My notebook-” but he was already bending down so Eiji could grab it with ease. He could only wrap one arm around Katsumi’s neck to balance himself as the kitsune made a beeline for the closest room.
Admittedly, it was his own, rather than the scientist’s. But it was a safer bet than attempting to traverse more of the ship. Mercreatures were a rarity, considered a treasure more than a person. Something a kitsune understood all too well, himself. It was an odd kinship, but he felt the need to protect the marine biologist. To protect Eiji.
Katsumi shouldered open his room door and then shut it with his foot. He brought Eiji to the bathroom, lowering him into the shallow bathtub. “There we go!” He immediately sat on the floor beside him, eyes wide, tails wagging again. Eiji tossed his lab coat onto the ground beside him, tail flopping over the side of the bath.
“Can I borrow a towel? I need to dry it..”
He reached behind him, fumbling with the cupboard, he threw the door open and grabbed one of the towels within. He then handed it to Eiji who began to pat his tail dry. “This is why you don’t swim.” Katsumi realised, watching as the man nodded. “And you still have ears.. You’re like a fish cat! A catfish!” He snickered at his own terrible joke.
Eiji exhaled a soft chuckle, the kitsune’s reaction was refreshing. “You really won’t tell? I could fetch more than I can pay you.” But Katsumi shrugged, leaning back, his tails finally stopped wagging aggressively, brown-blond fur pooling on the ground around him.
“I won’t tell. My tails go for a lot too.”
He held a hand out and Eiji stared at his face, reading him, but he could only read sincerity. He reached out too, taking Katsumi’s hand.
They shook on it.
“But now you gotta be my friend!”
“A fair deal, I suppose.”

Light Colours
in which Katsumi experiences a heat.
tag: @hamausagi woe foxboy pussy be upon ye
Tumblr media
When Eiji had awoken in the middle of the night, he hadn’t expected to wake up to an empty bed and missing blanket. But with Katsumi and Masuyo, he really shouldn’t have been surprised by the occasional weird situations. Eiji sat up in the bed, brushing his bangs from his eyes as he looked around the dark bedroom. Definitely no sign of his partner’s friendly local shade.
The shrine guardian stood slowly, artificial joints cracking from sleeping so stiffly. It didn’t help that his blanket was missing and it was cold. He looked around the room, noting Katsumi’s kimono still thrown over the back of the chair in the corner. Eiji wasted little time slipping that on instead of searching for his own clothing.
He tied it closed as he left the bedroom, intent on either finding Masuyo in the shrine or to confirm his absence. The air was damp with an oncoming storm, a slight surprise given the area’s relative lack of them. But there was a fainter scent beneath it, moss and fresh dirt. So he’d left recently then. That was reassuring at least.
Well, it was, until Eiji realised the blanket was still nowhere to be found. Masuyo didn’t need sleep, there was no reason for him to take it. Eiji sighed as he grabbed his shoes, going out in the middle of the night, barely dressed, before a storm. Just to find where his haunted partner had managed to run off to.
At least he could rely on his sense of smell to guide him. If Masuyo had left as recently as his smell had implied, then it should be no problem for the feline puppet to find him. If only to check on him, Eiji reasoned. And so when his search led him to the woods, he was far from surprised. Because of course it would.
It took him only ten minutes to find Masuyo, sitting on the ground leaning against a tree all while wrapped in the missing pale green sheet. Eiji cringed when he stepped on a stick, watching the man’s head snap up at him, fox ears twitching. “Oh.. Oh no. You need to go.” Masuyo scrambled to his feet, sheet hanging around his shoulders.
“Is everything okay?”
Eiji stayed where he was a few feet away from the shade, but something was off about him. His eyes were still dull, but they weren’t grey. More like a muted version of Katsumi’s actual swirl of blues and greens. It was even more unnerving than the usual grey. “Things are fine- he’s just- augh.” Masuyo put a hand to his head, but just as quickly dropped it as he suddenly smiled.
It was notably not Masuyo that surged forward, Eiji stumbling back to catch Katsumi and attempt not to fall to the forest floor. Eiji blinked in confusion as his partner gripped onto him, why was he so hot? Sure Katsumi ran warmer than most, but this was ridiculous. “Are you sick?” Eiji found himself asking as the kitsune went limp in his arms.
“Katsumi, control yourself.” Masuyo tugged himself away from Eiji, wrapping the blanket tighter around himself and hugging himself to do so. The shrine guardian had never seen the two battle for control. They had a set routine, Katsumi would control from sunrise to an hour before sunset, and Masuyo would take over for the rest of the time.
This was.. New… to Eiji.
Masuyo was strong, especially for a shade, Eiji knew this. So to watch him struggle against Katsumi in and of itself was surprising. Before Masuyo could explain what was happening, the behaviour shifted once more, Katsumi almost immediately clinging to Eiji. Eiji was at a loss for words as he tried to figure out the behaviour, to the point he was taken completely off guard by warm lips against his.
He returned the kiss with a small peck before he pulled away, tilting his head down at Katsumi, eyes filled with clear concern. Katsumi’s head fell against his chest and a soft growl escaped the kitsune. “He’s never had a partner during a heat. This is utterly… Embarrassing.” Masuyo grumbled, unable to control Katsumi’s body and pull away again.
A heat..? Oh. Eiji bit the inside of his cheek to keep himself from smiling or worse, chuckling. All this because of a heat? “Maybe I should take you home. It’s going to start raining soon.” Eiji straightened out as he suggested an alternative to whatever Masuyo’s plan happened to be. Katsumi sank further into Eiji’s arms, inhaling deeply.
“Masuyo doesn’t think it’s ideal because he doesn’t know how I’ll behave.” Katsumi explained, snaking his arms out of the blanket and to the belt keeping Eiji’s kimono closed. Eiji caught his partner’s hand before he could undo the white fabric. Katsumi lifted his head with a pout, and for a man with vertical pupils, they were exceptionally blown.
Eiji looked down at Katsumi’s hand in his grip, before lifting his head to meet the man’s eyes, quirking a violet brow. “This is what… I meant.” Masuyo looked away, unable to pull his hand back either way. “I have very little… control. When he’s.. Like this.” It was like trying to read two books at the same time, Eiji realised as he let go of Masuyo’s wrist.
Almost immediately Katsumi’s hands were back on the fabric. “Okay, we’re going home.” Eiji decided, picking up his boyfriend and throwing the kitsune onto his shoulder. The shrine guardian had to avoid being hit by the rapidly wagging tails as he pivoted on his heel towards the shrine. Katsumi or Masuyo, he wasn’t sure, struggled against his grip for a few seconds before giving up and stilling.
“And you didn’t think to just tell me rather than disappearing in the middle of the night?”
Masuyo growled again, clearly doing his best to remain in control. “No! I mean… No. I didn’t… Realise, until he had taken over…” Masuyo’s tails drooped, one of which nearly hit Eiji in the face as it did so. “Ugh, this heat is incredibly.. Uncomfortable.” He complained, body going entirely limp and causing Eiji to stagger somewhat.
Eiji picked up the pace, careful of any roots or other debris on the ground as he hurried back to the shrine. The man on his shoulder remained quiet as he made the rest of the trip, and remained silent still as he was gently set down inside of the shrine. Eiji got his shoes off but was immediately tackled to the ground the second he turned to face his partner.
Katsumi lowered his head to the man’s neck, inhaling once more as the pale green sheet fell on top of them. “You smell like home.” Katsumi whispered before he pressed a series of gentle kisses to the man’s neck. Eiji became momentarily stunned by the domestic declaration, hand coming up to rest on the small of his lover’s back.
“Take care of him.” Came a hushed whisper in a different tone, Masuyo clearly giving up on trying to control Katsumi’s insatiable hunger. At least it wasn’t bloodlust this time. Just good old lust. Katsumi pushed himself up on one arm, face inches from Eiji’s, eyes still impossibly wide. Eiji hesitated for just a moment before sliding his hand up Katsumi’s back to the back of his neck, drawing him back down for a proper kiss.
“So needy you didn't even put clothes on?” Eiji teased against his lips, eyeing the way his cheeks flushed and his chest heaved. Katsumi's eyes opened, his pupils still blown as he pouted down at his teasing boyfriend. “We should go to the bed.” He suggested and the kitsune sighed, rolling off of him.
Eiji tugged off and tossed the man's boots, then he easily scooped him up, carrying him groom style to their shared bedroom. Him and the blanket he stole. That he still didn't quite understand. He laid Katsumi in their bed, kneeling so one knee was between his legs. Eiji then undid the kimono, sliding it off of him and letting it fall to the floor.
“The blanket?”
“Smells like you.”
Eiji wasn't even aware he had a scent, as a being who didn't live as Katsumi lived. But then, he still sweat, still bled, still scarred. Just differently. It wasn't the only function he could do. Mismatched eyes flicked over his scarred skin. He was so bruised, cut up in some places. His nightly fights. Eiji would just have to be careful.
He leaned down, kissing the edge of one of the scars on his chest. Katsumi shuddered under his kiss and he smiled. These two scars were always sensitive, he liked it. His skin was so warm even though he had been outside in the cold in just a sheet. So warm as Eiji licked along the scar, rough tongue making him whine.
Katsumi groaned, eyes closing, mouth opened as the feline licked his nipple, only to then follow up by slightly tugging on it with his teeth. Gentle, but enough to make him squirm. Eiji knew his chest wasn't the most sensitive place on his body, but he also knew it'd rile his poor kitsune up beyond belief.
“Don't.. Nng.. Don't tease, Eiji..”
Eiji’s smile against his skin was soft, he began to trail his kisses downwards. His lips were cold against the man’s overheated skin, bringing much reprieve as he kissed a scar on Katsumi’s left hip. He nibbled the defined bone and his kitsune squirmed against the action.
“Need me?”
“You know I do!”
Mismatched eyes looked up, Katsumi was so beautiful under the moonlight. It was a sight Eiji had never seen before. One that made him feel blessed. He ran his hand up Katsumi’s thigh, propping it up so he had space between his legs.
“How badly?”
“Eiji!”
Eiji laughed, grazing his fangs along the man’s pale thigh. He smelled differently, something more noticeable now. The feline puppet wondered if it was his pheromones, his body’s attempt at attracting a mate. Mate. The idea did something to him. He wasn’t sure how to place the feeling that brewed in his stomach.
His tongue flicked out, licking up his cunt. He tasted relatively the same, if anything, Eiji found the taste more intoxicating than usual. Maybe it was just placebo, maybe it was because he wanted it, but Eiji could almost blame Katsumi’s pheromones for making everything feel a bit… Just.. More.
Katsumi’s hand tugged at his hair as his tongue swirled around his enlarged clit. Half lidded eyes looked up at him, enjoying the blatant display of pleasure on his face. Eiji brought his hand up, dipping two fingers into him as he focused on sucking on his clit.
His moans were musical, truly, low partially growled ones offset by high pitched whines. And without a need to breathe, Eiji took great pleasure in unravelling him with his tongue. “Ei-Eiji~” His lover gasped out, body twitching. The feline pulled his fingers from him, pulling back just enough to lick them clean.
But, he did know his precious kitsune better than that, and coupled with his heat. Eiji had an inkling that one wouldn’t be anywhere near enough to satisfy him. Quickly confirmed by the fox reaching for him, tugging his wrist pathetically.
Eiji pushed himself up properly, one hand beside the kitsune's head on the mattress. Then he shifted so that both his legs were between Katsumi's, the man almost immediately wrapping his legs around Eiji's waist. Looking down at him, the shrine guardian could see the need and desperation on his face. Even with his eyes closed.
He reached between them, still wanting to tease his lover. His dick was still just semi hard, but it was good enough for him to rub the tip against Katsumi. Another thing Eiji loved, he was so overly wet. He was sure it wasn't a normal amount but he was also sure that he loved it. The head of his cock slid through the man's warm wet folds.
The sound of slick was audible but quickly dampened by the distant sound of approaching thunder.
Katsumi tightened his legs around the man’s waist in a desperate attempt to get him inside of him, but Eiji held fast, tightening his grip on the sheets to steady himself. “Be a good boy, Kats.” Eiji hummed, pressing just the head of his cock inside of him.
“Ca- ah~! Can’t be good when you’re not breeding me.”
The exclamation was blunt and surprising, purple ear twitching. “You want me to breed you?” Eiji wanted to hear him say it again. They never used protection anyway, there was no need. The heat really did make him act up. It was endearing.
Katsumi nodded, blond-brown ears bouncing, his bangs stuck to his heated skin as he opened his eyes just to pout up at the feline. “I need you to breed me.” It wasn’t a want, it was a need. An instinctual need. Eiji wanted nothing more than to fulfil his needs.
Eiji pushed into him, eliciting a high pitched moan, the kitsune’s claws soon dug into the skin of his back. Katsumi tilted his hips upwards, giving the feline the deepest possible angle. The sound of their skin muffled the sound of rain, the panting from the kitsune and the soft sighs of exertion from the puppet filled the room.
“I can’t get you pregnant though.” Eiji mumbled before gently biting the man’s ear.
“I can pretend.” Katsumi panted out, trying his best not to tear his lover’s back up with his claws.
And pretend they would, until Eiji’s stores ran dry and Katsumi was dripping with artificial cum. His thighs, the sheets, his sore cunt, full of him. Eiji was quite proud of his handiwork, his fox panting and deeply satisfied.
Even he panted, the physical exertion of keeping him happy took a toll. But Eiji was more than happy, seeing Katsumi happy.
The kitsune rested in his arms, declining any attempt to clean him. “There’s no point.. We’ll need to go again once I wake.” He mumbled, turning his face into the pillow. The sheets smelled of sex and slick, but Eiji assumed changing them would be just as pointless. At least he managed to get Katsumi to drink water.
Laying behind him, Eiji’s fingers ran up the man’s stomach, spooning him as he always did. But.. His thoughts wandered slightly, trailing his fingers up and down, causing Katsumi to shudder at the sensual touch.
“Would it be a litter then? If you’re a fox?”
Katsumi stilled in his arms but quickly relaxed, hand coming to rest on top of his. “It would be.” He clasped his hand in Eiji’s, getting comfortable against the mattress. “I wonder if they’d have hair like mine or yours.” He’d never thought about children, he wouldn’t make a good father. But it was fun to pretend, with the pheromones clouding his mind.
“Blond and purple maybe.” Eiji pressed his face against the back of Katsumi’s head, inhaling his scent, albeit musky from the activity. The puppet hadn’t thought very much on it either, how could he? Why would he? But he, too, found it fun to pretend.

Note
Katsumi finished unwrapping his opposite hand, bruises and cuts layered every inch of skin that became visible with the falling of the bandages. Eiji tilted his head to the side, observing the man’s careful movements. Careful, so as to not irritate the obvious. The puppet closed his own hands momentarily.
“Are you sure you wish to compare sizes?”
The kitsune looked up, fox ear twitching. “Of course!” He showed him a toothy grin. Eiji held his hand up, uncurling his fist. Katsumi wrapped the rest of his bandage around his wrist, loosely tying it. Eiji wondered if there were more blemishes further down, kept at bay by the bandages. His thoughts were disturbed by the warm hand that pressed against his.
“Oh! You’re cold.” Katsumi wiggled further, closer, his palm was rough, and his fingers were more than calloused. It wasn’t terrible, though, Eiji’s own hands rough from war and birth. His skin was warm, like the sun beating down on him once it learned to reappear. His hands were small, but the feline could feel the muscles in his wrist and fingers just from the way he pressed his hand against his.
Strength from his claymore, no doubt.
“I am, does it bother you?”
Katsumi quickly shook his head, blond and brown hair falling from his ribbon into his face at the aggressive action. “Nah, I like it! I’m always way too hot.” He grinned once more but Eiji’s expression didn’t soften until the kitsune across from him locked his fingers through Eiji’s, surprising him.
“Perfect for me to hold, dewdrop!”
“You..”
“Like you? Of course!”
The puppet was far from used to hearing it, but he laced his fingers with Katsumi’s too. A ploy. But one he would accept.

I'm literally sitting here crying at the concept of Katsumi waking up at sunset eyes wide and Eiji worriedly asking if he had that nightmare again only to- "It's a really good thing we can't have kids because I don't think I could contain how cute the kitten fox puppets would be." holding his hands up in a smallish ball. "They'd be- they'd be so tiny.." "Oh, Katsumi.. You had me worried." "They'd be too small!!!" falls back against the pillows. Zzz.
STOP THIS IS TOOOO CUTTTEEEEE
eiji having to stop himself from going ‘erm. achewally ☝🏻’ like he tends to do and just let katsumi be all cute about their supposed family i cryyyyyy 😭😭😭💗💗🫶 he will indulge him in the kitten fox puppet babies <3

Originally I wanted to get the Harmony Crane to represent Katsumi in Webkinz but I don't really feel like that's her anymore. So I wanna get one to accompany Alina's Webkinz, which is a Charmed Fox. The Charmed Fox is like a yellow/orange fox with green eyes, which fits since Alina is the Sun Princess. My mom suggested a black cat (I already have one adopted, his name is Khoshekh). I also thought about a rabbit since some people see a rabbit in the moon and Katsumi is the Moon Princess, or a wolf since wolves howl at the moon and a wolf and fox would be a good duo. But I just can't find one that would work for him
So I guess TLDR what animal should I use to go with a fox that also fits into the moon part of a sun and moon duo? It has to be a virtual exclusive (I'd feel bad if one had a plushie but the other didn't), and it can't be part of a set like the Pixie Bunny since that has another animal in its theme and I'd feel weird about those ones not accompanying each other

I want to be Your Koi Fish - Nine Tails
Warning: +18 content, criminal underworld, intercourse, strong language - and so on
Fanfiction based on: "Baki" by Itagaki Keisuke
>2<
Yes ... fighting a sumo wrestler turned out to be an interesting experience. The pride of national sport showed class and respect for martial arts, including street arts. Afterwards, he even offered chanko and a drink. Hanayama turned on heel to disappear into the corridor of his corner. Immediately saw white fur streaming down from the gate before his eyes. She was running as fast as she could in paws, with a silk handkerchief in mouth. To general amazement, he grabbed her gently under stomach and sat her on his shoulder, picking up the material being fed so he could wipe the glasses. She immediately, unscrupulously, took the opportunity to lick his face with a slightly rough tongue. He loved such little tenderness. But preferred her to throw slender arms around his neck rather than six fluffy ponytails on his back. Kaoru didn't care at all about the crowd's interest. Paid no attention to the audience. He put his glasses on nose, slowly folded the silk handkerchief into an even ankle, and tucked it into his pocket, crossing the threshold of the arena.
The rest of the team and the overjoyed Kinryuuzan were waiting in the dressing room. The ex-yokozuna was surprised to see a shaggy ball sitting on a white jacket, which allowed Hanayama to pass him by. Hanabi, however, didn't seem to take eyes off him. Yakuza hardly thought the former Yokozuna would catch her eye, but was still so surprised that he was attracting her. She jumped off massive arm, approaching with curiosity, only to come closer to her husband's legs in light pants. So he could be perfectly calm. She followed her gaze as the ex-Yokozuna walked over to the blackboard to mark the two circles that marked their next win and loss with a felt-tip pen. Again, he was listening to how wonderful it was now that there could only be a draw when the flow of words was interrupted.
- I think your pet is looking at something, Hanayama-san ... - Kinryuuzan muttered softly, pointing at the fox. - Stares at one point for a long time.
In fact, she seemed to freeze, disconnected from the world. He crouched down beside her, but before he could say anything, she shook head, then the whole torso and tails. This time seven. She arched herself to look behind, and seeing another ponytail, rolled a back somersault with joy. Little Fox climbed hurriedly onto the arm that was extended towards her, to sit again near the cut face and happily rubbing her fluffy cheek. Straightening up, he caught the scrutinizing gaze of the young sumo wrestler.
- It is an unbelievable coincidence that you found a white Kitsune, Hanayama-san. Quite a miracle. - Sukune said calmly, examining the tails. - I thought they were spirit creatures. Apparently they bring good luck.
- Speaking of happiness and little foxes, where is your lovely spouse? - Shibukawa asked with a smile.
She peered over husband's head, looking curiously at the master with her bright green eyes. One of the tails curled to point at her. Goki was surprised, as were the rest of the uninitiated company.
- Ha ... Hanabi-chan? - he gasped, to which she nodded eagerly.
- During the fight with Musashi on Shinjuku, a lot happened. - Baki interjected. - it's hard to explain in a few words.
- Especially since we don't have much time. - Kinryuuzan added, uncertainly looking at the white fox. - Orochi Katsumi is next.
He was standing right behind him. Still extremely confident, proud, with a sly face and a typical twinkle in his eye. He looked like still hadn't gotten out of head hitting on Hanayama's wife, even with her in half body. Or is it "fox feature"? After all, many men spontaneously twisted their necks towards her. However, this case was different. This infatuation lasted far too long, it wasn't fleeting. She noticed it too, looking from under the bull. He knew very well how his wife didn't tolerate the slips of a young karateka, and how he still didn't feel this reluctance.
>>><<<
The fights with sumo players went more or less as she expected. They won without any major problems, despite the fact that the opponents were really strong. The scales were outweighed by the fact that the wrestlers did not adapt to the arena rules. She suspected that if the Tokugawa players were to come to the dohyo, there would also be quite a problem. A few weeks later, they took advantage of Kaoru's grandfather waking up from a long coma and multiple treatments, and were finally able to visit him. Yakuza provided highest boss with the most professional staff, the best possible conditions. The room was bright, filled with natural sunlight, overlooking a lovely park. An old man was pinned to the apparatus in a bed covered with white sheets. He looked so unlike himself, much weaker, tired of the whole situation. Even his eyes had lost their brilliance, and he was looking in their direction through near closed lids. It is possible, however, that it was the effect of painkillers. He was surprised to see a fox popping out of his grandson's pocket, with a purple ribbon around its neck. She perched on his legs, tucking head gently into the slightly cramped fingers of his hand as if he were stroking her.
- In my life, I wouldn't have believed it, if I hadn't seen ... - He sighed with difficulty, then smiled slightly. - You look nice in fur too, Hanabi-chan.
She settled gently between Akita's hands, listening to the conversation a bit. They talked about typical business matters. Kaoru reported on the condition of the streets, the quiet expansion of the sphere of influence, relations with other heads of families, problems that had arisen during Taro's absence. Unfortunately, he also had to admit that they still had not found the hole through which the thick millions were flowing out right now. Grandpa listened, nodded, shook his head, but he seemed to ignore many facts, as if they didn't concern him. Reconciled with fate, whatever it may be. It worried her, but she didn't even expect the worst to come.
- Kaoru, even if I leave this place, I don't think I will be able to carry the clan any further. - he said, taking a deeper breath with a few pauses. - You and Hanabi will have to take care of the family. First of all you.
She pricked up ears, lifting head. It sounded ominous, she sensed a powerful note of resignation in his voice. Of course, Kaoru knew that he would inherit his grandfather place someday, he was first in the inheritance line, but judging by his expression, didn't expect it to happen so soon. She felt a warm, bony hand on head, gently combing pale fur.
- Oh, don't look like that, you can do it! Together, you are stronger than anyone else. Indestructible. - Akita laughed with difficulty. - Naito and the rest know. I started preparations even before this flawed festival ...
They made their way home in complete silence. Kaoru never showed too much emotion, but she felt something was up. He was shocked by the real, or inevitable, vision of losing another family member. The attempt was enough to blow it, and now Akita, personally, says he can't do it anymore. So how much did he have? How much time did the doctors give? They didn't find out during the visit. In the evening they sat in the living room, Hanayama as usual with the Wild Turkey in his hand, she comfortably placed on one of his thighs, tails lowered softly onto the leather sofa. The phone in his pocket rang. He picked it up completely emotionless, immersed in his own thoughts. She couldn't hear the interlocutor, but quickly guessed what information was being contacted. All it took was the clink of broken, thick glass falling to the floor, spilling at the same time the remaining half a liter of bourbon, intoxicatingly smelling of honey, blackberries, caramel and almonds.
The funeral services ended sooner than she had expected. All the families associated with the Fujiki clan came to Akita's home, even her father. He seemed to be avoiding her company, dimmed a bit ... but maybe it's too much work? Or was he sitting at night with something uncreated? She left for a moment, wanting to breathe some fresh air. She stretched out on the grass, stuck face out to the sun, then lay on back, hanging fluffy little ponytails above her. EIGHT! One moment more and she will be herself again! Or at least she hoped so. At the same time, she wasn't sure how long it would take, especially since the last ones were born in great pain for many days. The first ones appeared very quickly. She was terribly impatient. She stood on feet, stretched again, and briskly ran towards the room where she had left her husband, remembering to wipe paws before entering. Otherwise, Kimiko will chase her again with a broom. When Hanabi lost her first child, the housekeeper seemed to be getting warmer, although she guessed that she was having a hard time. After all, more is expected of girls and women, according to tradition, and she by no means subscribed to the tradition, however hard she tried. In fact, she didn't try at all, she felt great the way she was. The transformation into a little fox was absolutely beyond Kimiko's comprehension, despite the fact that the fluffy ball was still the wife of the Hanayama family boss. Now the whole Fujiki clan ... Hanabi was very curious to see how her husband would handle it. She wanted to support him as much as possible, but didn't think she could do much in this body. Sighed heavily, then walked forward, her paws raised softly. She was almost staring white head through the open door when a scrap of conversation reached her ears.
- Boss, really, we are full of admiration! We thought you couldn't be a greater male role model than you were before! - someone said, and she recognized by his tone that it was one of the higher in the hierarchy. - You are so patient with your wife, even though she is not really with you!
"She's not ... really ..." - these words echoed in the little head, more and more terrified of the situation. No matter how much she deceived herself, they were right. She was supposed to support him. She had been doing him for company at best, and also quite dependent on him, not a WIFE for the last eight months at least. Worse than if she was lying in bed with sickness. She was doing the best she could, but there were many things she was unable to do because of size. The tiny heart smashed into tiny ribs. She was a burden to Kaoru. He had so much to do with his grandfather's death and new responsibilities, and in the meantime he had to look after her, getting nothing in return. So, however ... as she had expected before the wedding, it finally got to the point where she was unnecessary, even disturbing. A hasty plan bloomed in her tiny head, driving her hurriedly into the room. By the time his body is recovered, she should be gone so that he doesn't care too much about her. She knew perfectly well that it was hard for him, as well as hers. She wanted to hug him so much, but the fox's feet were too short. Comfort with a warm word, but unfortunately she couldn't make any sensible sound out of thin throat. She had no idea how long it would take to get the last tail back, didn't want to let him tire of her this time. She decided to free him from herself, and then ... then she'll see. She wrapped the spare rations of one Inari sushi * in a silk handkerchief, sighed heavily, looking sadly at the purple shirt hanging nearby, and then ran out of the room. Where could she go first? The temple of Inari would be the safest, but she didn't know any nearby, so all she had to do was wander around and act hot. A dull footstep and a dull pain at the tip of one of her tails snapped her out of the stream of thoughts. She jumped away, tearing it from under the yoke, glancing in horror at someone she hadn't noticed. Father was standing before her, with a slowly thinning black hair and a tasteful haori suited to the occasion. He flashed clear eyes as he crouched down beside her.
- Sorry, honey, I didn't notice you. - he muttered calmly.
She shook head slowly backing away.
- Hanabi, what are you ...
He didn't manage to finish, she ran as fast as could in paws towards the grave of her parents-in-law.

The Au that they use in other fandoms to give farm animal characteristics to the characters is seducing me, and I can't help imagining it for Baki, mainly those in which the S/O are the farmers and their cattle are in love with them
I need holy water
I get it.
Ranch AU with Rancher Reader
Kaoru is definitely a Belgian Blue bull you rescued. He is too massive not to be. He takes a long time to warm up to you but he slowly becomes incredibly possessive of your time. He refuses to mate any of the cows on the ranch
Jack is a massive Shire horse. He’s so gentle to you and helps take you around the ranch to herd up the others.
Baki is an Australian cattle dog. He terrorizes all the other farm animals to get your attention.
Katsumi is a ragdoll cat that just won’t leave your farm alone. You think he was abandoned so you’re very sweet to him (your other animals are jealous of him).
Retsu is an Anatolian black goat. You find him sitting on all kinds of weird places with Katsumi.
Kureha and Kosho are French Brown dairy cows. They are very demanding when it’s milking days.
Doyle is a Cochin chicken (rooster). He’s a scrappy little thing. Him and Katsumi fight for your attention a lot of the time.
Sikorsky is a Russian red fox that lurks in the forests and constantly tries to steal chickens and eggs from you (Gaia chases him off a lot). Sometimes you leave eggs for him on the edge of the property
Gaia is a miniature donkey that protects your livestock better than Baki does.
Doppo and Natsue are swans that decided to permanently stay on your property. They also adopted Katsumi
Oliva is a Black Welsh Mountain Sheep. He loves being sheered and he takes excellent care of his fleece for you.
Muhammed Ali Jr is a border collie that you adopted from the shelter. Baki and him hate each other.
Kozue is a Holland Hop bunny that lives in your house with you. You don’t ever let her out of your sight.

Amant World Building Questions
but Lane puts in zero effort aha
Tumblr media
fairies: are they overworked? what is life for them like? what do they do? what different type of jobs are there? who are their king and queen? what magic do they possess?
Some are, some aren't. It's just an alternate form of our world, after all. Different types of leaders, some royalty, some elected. Some have magic, some don't. I'd have to get more specific with regions! But yk.
protests: what protests are repeatedly done? are they peaceful or aggressive? what are they for?
Listen you fuck with the peoples pay they'll kill their bosses. Same with where people live. Protests are strong and coordinated and aggressive. They'll do what they have to do get their needs met. I respect tf outta it.
drinking games: what drinking games are there? what are they called? how do you play them?
Oh kottabos my beloved. Look it up sometime, it's very funny. But people will often wager money to see who can drink the most without getting sick.
magical objects: if a magical object is left on constantly, is there any side effects? can you bring magical objects to life?
It depends on the item. It would most likely attract Darkness however, and the item would slowly be corrupted. And that corruption could bring a slew of negative problems or side effects. And sure why not. But it wouldn't be a real life. It'd be something.. monstrous.
hours: how many hours are there in a day?
24! It still follows our normal hourly/weekly schedule. However, night is much longer all seasons in Amant. Starting at around 1430/1500 during winter, 1630/1700 during the spring, 1530/1630 during the fall, and 1800 during the summers.
byproduct: is there any byproduct from potions and spells? is it sentient? how long does it last? does it eat or drink? does it talk?
Not usually sentient.  I'm sure it could be depending on what but not usually. Byproducts are usually just negative effects. Illnesses, corruption, the like. But if it was sentient, it'd probably depend on how potent the spell or potion was. Some may be able to mimic human speech, but that'd be as far as it goes I imagine.
instruments: what instruments exist in your world? how do you play them?
(Gestures once more to its the same as our world) electric violins probably tho wouldn't that be sick
interior design: does something similar to feng shui exist? what is the coolest place in the world?
Same principle exists for sure. The coolest place in the world is personal! The thing about feng shui in Amant is that it's mostly used as a form of staving off the darkness. A sort of.. Light counter to the darkness.
immortality: are there immortality spells? is there spells to prevent dying in a singular place? if you stayed there forever, what would happen?
No, there aren't. But there are creatures blessed, or cursed with immortality. And some blood curses have it as a byproduct as well.
But there IS an area where dying is impossible! It's mostly a legend. A location near Naikama, Japan. "永遠の春" The Eternal Spring. It is a plane parallel to ours.
It is a plane of concentrated darkness. Of spirits, the dead. A lack of light. Staying there would cause madness. It would break down a person's mind. The darkness would seep into them, take hold of them.
This is what happened to Katsumi.
notable acts of nature: what was it? what did they call it? what happened?
The Darkening. It's very unoriginal. But ultimately, humans are unoriginal. Stories go back to ancient times. The Darkening was believed to be the Gods abandoning the people, the slow spread of malice and monsters. A poisoning of humanity.
slang: what is slang for drunk?
Depends on the location! Amant is worldwide! I like fox-drunk cause it's cute and ofc I do. But you can be fun with it! I googled different terms for drunk and found "boiled owl" "zozzled" ect ect.
mining: what do people mine for in your world? how do they mine?
Gold, silver, titanium. All the usual shit. But that's not why we're here is it? See these concentrated locations of darkness create ores referred to as Tenebrium, Noxium, and Umbrium. This must be carefully mined with protective gear, and is only mined by those who wish to harness weapons against the darkness. What better to use than materials made from it?
adventurers: who are some of the worst adventurers in your world? what did they do?
Me bro. The Bard Reneè though. He's a story character basically. Like Robin hood or Reynard for instance. He was known for being very bad at everything he did, basically.
theatre: is there a play that everyone loves? who hates it? what is the play about?
Lots of plays. Some popular, some not. But the aforementioned bard does have a play and it's a huge comedy thing. But it's superr grating to some. I'd hate it personally lol
freaky friday: can people swap bodies? how did that magic come to be?
Not very easily. It'd be a very very difficult spell. But there are parasites who can use humans as hosts. See Eden with Caïn.
road side attractions: what roadside attractions are there? what is the oddest one?
A very cool hydraulic lift was built in the mountains of Japan. It's a frequented place!
scams: what scams exist in your world? what do they promise?
Wealth, fame, love.
birthdays: are birthdays a thing in your world? can birthdays change dates year by year?
(Gestures to same as our world) but a lot of people don't really care for birthdays. They're more popular amongst the upper class.
spies: are there spies in your world? which part has spies? who are they spying on? how are they paid? how do you become a spy?
Lotsa spies. Watch your back, yeah?
serial killers: what do they leave behind? do they mark their victims or the victims family?
There are plenty of serial killers. Plenty of methods. There is a particularly bad one in Lanying. Always leaves a rose tucked behind the ear of a gutted corpse.
communications: how do you speak to others in the world; letters, magic mirror, spells, through water? how do you stop people tracking your communications? how can you communicate with someone across your world?
Letters mostly. Word of mouth. There are clockwork technical pigeons, basically. These provide a faster method of delivering letters. Japan and France in my world are incredibly advanced, both of them are developing short range phones! There are probably some magical ways too. And uh well invisible ink! Code words. Stuff like that.
powers: what powers do people have? seeing through a wall? burning things from the inside? flying or levitation? eating very quickly? making others ears bleed? knowledge of true love?
All of it. Anything is possible. That's part of the problem, imo.
actors: what famous actors exist in your world? what is their most famous role?
Lots! There was a woman who once played Reneé. Her name was Adeline Comtesse. It was her most famous role. She's since passed on but her family are all theatre performers and they carry the family name on!
