Okay so last night I had this weird ass dream

It was like, a dream "Monsters of Rock" Challenge with competitors from all 3 seasons mixed together and with each season winner as each band leader

as much as i love it dragula it is very conspiciously nonblack. with the exception of meatball i don’t think a single black drag artist has made it past the halfway point. both st lucia and kendra onixx were some of the first to go home, and maxi glamour was edited to make them look sorta bumbling around before they left. 

i think it��s a chicken/egg phenom as well- i’d imagine that the punk and horror scenes that the show culls its competitors from r probably very unwelcoming and/or very objectifying/tokenizing towards black performers
