hi! i appreciate your feedback. i'm guessing this is based on my edit note for my revised post about otherlinking, where i said i edited it to hopefully sound less aggressive. those were actually my own words- no one Explicitly said i sounded aggressive in my original post.

what happened was my tone wasn't very clear in my original version of the post, and so people reading were unsure of whether or not i meant anything hostile with some of the things i said in said post, or if i was just confused. upon seeing that there was confusion regarding my words, i decided to rewrite it to help clarify the point.

i tried to stray away from saying things about the community because i'm Not qualified to speak on that. in the first post, this wasn't the case, which created lots of confusion. though the fact of the matter is, i only know what i did research on, which is my post's topic.

i'm sorry if my post upset you at all, that was not my intention at all! it's only goal is to be informational.

Hmmm I think he can talk if he wants, but chooses not to so he can mess with Christopher lmao. Also it's probably harder to talk above water as opposed to underwater because fish reasons. So instead he just makes mouth noises and whistles to communicate, since Christopher wouldn't know a thing about mermaids. And I did toy with the idea of Kennith being able to sing, so I'm gonna give that a hard "maybe" lmao

Christopher's thought process upon seeing Kennith goes like this: 1) "this bastard just ruined my suicide attempt how dare he" and 2) "holy shit is that a mermaid" and it does take a hot minute for him to process the fact that Kennith is real. Kennith has to literally climb onto a rock beside him and show him that the mermaid tail is real and tangible for him to believe it

I'm an artist and crocheter who is trying to learn animation but kinda failing hard-

I was a shut-in for about a month due to health issues last year. I've recovered however I still tend to stay inside, only going outside for school and if my parents force me. I don't typically willingly go outside of my house unless I'm just looking around the backyard.

2. Christopher was the initiator of communication when they met for the first time, but after a little while Kennith got used to it fast and started to talk first (I hc him being more introverted than Chris who is an extraverted extravert)

3. The way Kennith discovered about Christopher's dark form. I'm gonna explain. Kennith was sitting at the table, his back to the door. Chris came to Kennith from his back and closed his eyes with two hands. Kennith giggled with his eyes covered. But then he felt two more hands embracing his waist. Kennith was confused, his brain started loading. After that, he felt the 5th and 6th hands hugging him as well. He was freaked out. After being set free, he turned back to Christopher and saw the latter looking all dark and having six arms. Kennith was unironically scared, and it wasn't funny. Chris understood that and turned back to his normal form. It happened to be... a little bit too much. Kennith panicked, Christopher felt sorry and calmed him down. Chris asked if he can hug him with six arms again. Kennith was embarrassed yet he nodded. And it appeared to be... relaxing. Hugging with six arms felt really comforting, so unusual and new. And it would be okay if Christopher haven't frightened him before that. But Kennith was instantly calmed, and he started exploring the shadowy arms' look and asking why Chris even has this form and how he changes his appearance.

4. Now Kennith REALLY loves Christopher's dark form. Starting with being tactile, and all physical contacts with 6 arms are amazing (Kennith knows them by heart and can recognize each's touch even without looking at it), and it's really a new experience at everything. I mean, Kennith loves to get attention from this entirely black six-armed reverse-language-speaking thing especially in bed

5. I hc that Christopher is able to 'summon' 4 dark arms from his back without turning to the monstrous form. Not to mention that all his arms are useful in everyday life, Chris and Kenny just do chores and usual stuff together with that.

6. Kennith paints Christopher's nails at all 6 hands. It feels so awesome and relaxing. Just like that.

Anon here, honestly I despise talking negatively about things too and I highly doubt you're going to answer this ask, but to me it seems like Mr. Saturn kind of... mimicked Shuffle's design a tad bit too much from Grey Morales. If you compare the two you'd notice the only things that are different are the shoes, the bowtie and the height. Even though she credited you for inspiring her, Saturn really just took Grey, changed a few details about it and called it her own fusion. Regardless of whether or not she asked you if she could take inspiration from the design, surely you can see the problem (pun unintended), especially because Shuffle got way more traction than Grey. You shouldn't worry about people getting mad about "farming attention" or "stealing the spotlight" or anything of the sort. There is no evidence proving you're the one at fault since you invented the design first, and, at most Saturn herself is the one stealing the spotlight that was supposed to be yours.

I'm sure Saturn has no ill intent, but frankly enough she could've been a bit more imaginative. Trust me when I say there's nothing wrong with taking inspiration from another character, but I really expected better from the likes of her.

If I were in you, I'd speak up about it, but the choice is yours. For the rest, I'm thrilled to see what you have ready, even if it's not GHOST-related, I'm sure it will be just as mesmerizing. Until next time!

She didn't technically ask to take inspiration from Grey, but she did give me credit for the original design waaaaay back in the first post made about Shuffle. Which, you know, I very much like credit... when it's consistent. Especially considering just how much of Shuffle's design is lifted from Grey (which is a lot). Plus I'm the one who even came up with the idea to specifically fuse Kennith and Christopher in the first place, three years ago.

You know I see people say that they really like Shuffle's design? And I'm just.

See, it'd be one thing if Shuffle's personality was the highlight, which is entirely Saturn's, but people really seem to think the design is all hers. That's the number one thing that genuinely upsets me.
