can you write about kepa and a teacher? xx
i'd never thought i like writing this but here we are
Tumblr media
footballer
you always try to be as accommodating to your students as possible but when the career day comes and you have no idea who might possibly fill in the sick guest star's shoes, your boyfriend comes to the rescue.
kepa arrizabalaga x teacher!reader
word count: 1.4k
note: blurbs for this guy bcs i think i might write too long if i continue LOL but this time i happen to write this during work so ofc this is not proof-read.
“fuck.”
being a teacher to primary school students, you vouch yourself to always try your best to reduce cussing. no matter where, but especially in public places that exposes you to children in general. mcdonald’s during peak time is definitely not a place to decide it’s the best place to swear out all the bad words.
for that fact alone, kepa swings his head towards his girlfriend immediately with pure confusion and worry plastered all over his face. the degree of damage must’ve been too high for her to lose her self-control.
“what’s wrong, amor?”
and there is the face he recognised happen so rarely. the face of someone in the brink of having a mental breakdown—being a teacher, you tries her best to keep her composure at all times, no matter how absurd the kids’ question and imagination might take her.
kepa immediately wraps his arms around you and runs his palm on your back, in the attempt of soothe you. under his touch, he notices a mild tremble running across your body and he can’t help but sway their entangling bodies left and right, peppering kisses on the top of your head as he does so. she must’ve been under so much pressure…, kepa thought.
but that’s what you like about kepa. before you two even got together, you know he’s always going to be a constant fixture in your life because he will always be there for you. when he can’t be with you, he’d make it up in words and long calls until you feel better.
now, you can’t ask for a better boyfriend. he never pushes you to do thing you’re not up for it, like right now. he’d never insist you to tell him what goes wrong immediately and instead would always let you have your own little space first. he recognises that it’s normal to be all over the place for a moment, as long as you get yourself back together as quick as possible—he knows life is always like that, he’s got 90 minutes of game for a weekly simulation.
during the whole queue leading up to the mcdonald’s cashier, kepa wraps you around him like a mother koala to her joeys. you don’t mind, for you always like hugging him. despite his slender figure, he’s firm and sturdy from all the muscles and it’s as if you’re holding your pillar of life. in which, in a way, is what kepa is in your life.
and he likes having you clinging to him because your figure somehow moulds perfectly into his, filling his curves nicely like a pretty glove but never suffocating. just like your relationship; built tightly upon trust so you don’t suffocate each other.
“you know the career day is tomorrow,” you start, as you peel off the paper of his bigmac. it’s now becoming a habit to prep his food first before you, and it’s becoming kepa’s personal reason to bring you for a meal out for that reason alone. “and i managed to get this astronaut to come as my guest star this year,”
kepa manages to slip a muchos gracias, baby and throws her a smile as he receives the bigmac from her hands. “let me guess, he bailed.”
“he died this morning, kep,” you huff out your frustration because who else are you going to bring to the career day? it’s basically the only day where the teachers are competing to flaunt their best contacts on their phone. “it took me months to get him on board and now i don’t know who else to bring at such a short notice.”
“is the job footballer allowed for the career day?”
*✿❀○❀✿**✿❀○❀✿**✿❀○❀✿*
you know kepa’s always man of his words and know that he’ll always be there to support you through thick and thins but damn. you didn’t expect him to truck through your damage control plan.
well, technically it’s his. kepa offered himself to fill in the astronaut’s empty shoes for the career day.
you, at first, panicked. that was pretty much given. because at this point, kepa knows the drill—a student of yours would ask how you can get to know and befriend such an important figure. you can’t exactly say kepa’s your boyfriend because it doesn’t seem ethical to bring your boyfriend, someone so personal, to your professional life.
let’s also not forget the whispers and suppressed talks behind your back because you’re date the kepa arrizabalaga, chelsea’s number 1 goalkeeper. funny because you’re sure some of them know about you and kepa, the mainstream gossip was the one who spilled the hot tea of him dating a mere commoner a long time ago.
but the moment you introduced kepa to your class and was met by a very rowdy response, especially from the boys, all of your worries are replaced by relief and you can’t say enough silent thank you over your shoulder as he stands behind you, facing the excited class with warmth that can contend the sun shining outside.
and maybe he melts you more than the bright sun by the way he handles the hyped children effortlessly good for what’s considered his first try. he entertains as much questions as possible and provides a reasoning logical enough for kids in the case he can’t answer their question. he walks around the room to attend to them personally, even going as far as crouching to meet their eye level whenever they’re too shy to say something.
he controls the room with ease but in a fun way that gets the kids immediately listen to him. he gains respect from both boys and girls alike. no wonder he’s kept his first-choice place for a long time and now obtains back the gaffer’s trust on his capacity and capability.
“can you tell us your match-winning technique?”
kepa’s impressed by the question. the daring challenge, for instance, but also for the words the child uses to construct his question for his age. but he’d surmised as much, for you’re an exemplary teacher to begin with, especially on things related to words. he used to refer you as the walking thesaurus for your broad knowledge on literature, but now he’s more proud than anything that you’ve influenced the kids in a good way.
“how about if i show you instead?” kepa then switches his attention to you, who’s standing attentively at the back of the class, only interrupting when the question queue gets out of order. “can we do that?”
“outside?” your eyes scream panic because getting these kids to behave indoor is one thing, but outdoor is a whole new different game. “on the field?”
“we’re not allowed to play football inside, are we, miss?”
your student’s rebuttal and you’re lost. kepa had to smile at the smart remark that cornered you to a checkmate position, these lots are definitely your students.
but kepa once again proves you wrong. if he’s that good with kids inside the classroom, you underestimate him with kids outside of the classroom. more over on the grass, with a foot ball on top of that. he’s back in his habitat, for the lack of words, and he might be your own contender to be the class’s best teacher.
as he promises, he shows the class the basic techniques to be a good goalkeeper, fixes the postures for those who get it wrong. he then proceeds to show the kids his signature move and also why footballer should also be considered as career, not just a mere occupation most of people rather overlooks. all with the level of patience you never know you can possess.
at the end of the day, your class wins the best presentation and garners envious looks from other classes and teachers. but most of all, your students gain a valuable lesson they might not understand now, but definitely useful in the future. and a good time, on top of that.
as soon as you slide yourself into the leather of kepa’s expensive automobile after wrapping up everything, you waste zero second to place a perfectly strategised kiss on your boyfriend’s lips. your sudden movement startles kepa, but before he can digest his shock, you move to give him another kiss. deep and slow this time, taking your time to express your gratitude for what he’s done today silently, as well as giving kepa time to kiss you back.
and kiss you back he did.
“you’re the best, baby,” you say as you pull away, albeit with a heavy heart because kepa’s lips are very plump for his size and makes him more kissable and addicting than you’d like to admit. “what do i do without you, hmm?”

Confessing Feelings | Kepa Arrizabalaga
Kepa fluff where he admits his feelings for you after you two being friends since school he's a bit nervous at first but you slowly have him warm up to you to admit xx
Warnings: none
- - -
There was something about you that always intimidated Kepa - maybe it was your confidence or your tell-it-like-it-is attitude, but every time he thought about confessing his feelings for you, he stopped. Of course he was naturally scared of the possibility of rejection, but more than that he didn’t want to ruin the friendship that the two of you had spent years cultivating.
“So,” you started over breakfast one morning, “any new girls in your life?”
Kepa almost choked on his sip of espresso, your question seeming to come out of nowhere. “N-no. There’s been nobody since my ex - you know this.”
“Well, nobody except for that mysterious girl you’ve been going on about,” you teased, watching the shock cross his adorable features.
“How did you know about her?”
“You wouldn’t stop going on and on about her the last time we got drunk together - never gave me a name, though.”
Kepa internally breathed a sigh of relief. “I’m not even sure she’s into me like that.”
“Just show her the Kepa you show me and I’m sure she’ll change her mind.” The smile you flash him has Kepa’s heartbeat picking up, but he doesn’t want to get his hopes up - not yet.
~~~
It takes him a few more months to work up the courage to tell you how he feels, and even once he’s decided, he’s hesitant even though the two of you have spent practically every free moment of his off-season together.
“Any updates on that girl from a few months ago?” You try to ask as casually as possible. The truth is, you’ve been curious about the mysterious girl who’s caught Kepa’s eye since he mentioned it to you but you haven’t pushed it since breakfast a few months ago. It hasn’t escaped your notice that he hasn’t been out on dates and has spent almost all of his time with you, though. Some of your old mutual friends have noticed, the crazier ones going so far as to speculate that there could be something more than friendship between the two of you. In the beginning you’d brushed it off, but now you were starting to wonder if your crazier friends weren’t all that crazy…
“Uh, n-nothing. She’s still single and I’m still single and-”
“What are you waiting for?! Ask her out! Tell her how you feel!” Your smile widened as an idea formed. “Practice on me - that way I can help you get it right.”
“Oh, no - I’m okay.”
“Please?”
Kepa rolled his eyes, blowing out a breath. “Fine.” He stared at you, a bored look on his face. “I think you’re beautiful.”
Now it was your turn to roll your eyes. “Oh, my god, Kepa! Say it like you mean it!” You took his face in your hands, trying to ignore the way his skin felt under your fingertips. “Just…close your eyes and pretend I’m the girl you have feelings for.”
Kepa tucked a stray piece of hair behind your ear, cupping your cheek. “You’re beautiful,” he murmured in Spanish, his gaze raking down your body before he switched back to English. “I’ve wanted you for a long time. You’re my whole world, my best friend, and I don’t know what I’d do without you. I want you by my side for every victory and every loss; I want your face to be the first one I see in the morning and the last one I see before I go to sleep. Will you go out with me?”
“Kepa,” you murmured, your heart racing. “I-”
“You don’t have to say anything right now. Just think about it, okay?”
“Kepa…”
“It’s you.” The words are spoken so softly you aren’t ‘sure you’ve heard him correctly until he whispers your name. “It’s always been you. I don’t want anyone else - I want you.”
“If this is a joke, Kepa, I’m gonna need you to stop.”
“It’s not a joke.”
“Prove it. Kiss me.”
Kepa doesn’t need to be told twice, claiming your lips in a heated kiss that leaves both of you breathless.
“So,” he starts after the kiss ends, “when can I take you out for our first date?”
Your Strength
Tumblr media
Summary: After 2 losses in a row following a mediocre season, you become Kepa's source of strength when he finds he doesn't have any to spare.
Warning: Reminders of Chelsea's horrible game against Aston Villa, feelings of self doubt, slightly angsty but fluffy ending
Word Count: 1.1K
A/N: I don't wanna talk about Chelsea rn but at least Barcelona played my boy Pablo Torre
You and Kepa sat in silence as you drove the car back to your shared home. You knew there was nothing you could say that could make your boyfriend feel better.
Kepa hadn't had the easiest few years. Since his signing with Chelsea, he'd faced doubts, criticism, and negativity from all sorts of people. Even still, Kepa slowly rebuilt himself and it showed in his playing, regularly becoming a part of the starting XI and getting his first call up for the National Team in almost three years. His confidence was growing once more and he was becoming the player you knew he was always capable of being.
But just as quickly, things started to go downhill. Chelsea's season, quite frankly, had been shit. And although he'd managed a clean sheet against Norway in the European qualifiers, Spain lost to Scotland. 2-0. And tonight, Chelsea lost to Aston Villa. Another 2-0. It seemed like once again, the odds were against him, and he had no one to blame but himself.
"Do you wanna talk about it mi amor?" you asked as you parked the car in your driveway.
Kepa shook his head. He hadn't looked at you the whole ride, opting to stare out the window instead, afraid to see that you were disappointed in him too.
What Kepa didn't know was that he couldn't be more wrong. You'd always be proud of him regardless of whatever the outcome was. Tonight was no exception. He may not have kept a clean sheet, nor did he win the game, but he still went out there and gave it his all. And you were so proud of him.
You reached for his hand, which he gladly took in his. He intertwined your fingers, stroking the back of your hand with his thumb gently. He finally turned his head to look at you, trying his best to muster up a small smile. It broke your heart to see how upset he was.
"It's going to be okay Kepa. Even though it doesn't feel like it right now, it will be," you said softly.
Kepa held your hand tighter before kissing the back of your hand in thanks.
"Let's go inside okay? That way you can shower before going to bed."
Kepa knew that he hadn't been the best throughout the past few games. He made mistakes that cost his team the game. He should've communicated better. He should've trusted his gut more instead of hesitating so much. He should've done this. He should've done that. His brain was on a constant loop of "You should've been better. If you were better, your team would've won. This is on you." After all, he was the goalkeeper and it was his job to prevent the other team from scoring.
Kepa barely registered that you'd led him into the shower. He didn't even flinch as the hot water hit his face. He only blinked, getting lost in his thoughts and self-doubt.
"Amor? I'm right here," you said as you hugged him from behind. "Stay with me right here, right now. I know you're hurting and I know you're blaming yourself. But you don't have to do that right now. Just focus on me and let me take care of you okay?"
He turned around, holding you close to him. Kepa was always touchy with you, but he especially needed your touch in moments like these. He didn't know how you did it, but you always found a way to bring him back when his mind wandered off. He closed his eyes, focusing on the way your touch made him feel. He reveled in the way your fingertips lightly scratched his scalp as you shampooed his hair. He shivered as you ran your hands all along his body, being as gentle as you possibly could. He lost himself in the sensations you gave him, allowing his mind to stop for a little while.
"Kep? I'm all done. You can get dressed now," you said while handing him a towel, turning the shower off.
Once the two of you were dressed, you led him under the covers of your bed. He laid his head on your chest, laying an arm around your stomach and intertwining your legs together. You ran your fingers through his hair and holding him close to you.
The tears slowly started to fall from Kepa's eyes as the events of the day starting to creep up on him once more. Kepa's silent tears quickly turned to sobbing, turning his head to further hide into your chest. You felt his arm tighten around you as he desperately tried to anchor himself. You kissed his head gently, allowing him to cry his stress and anguish away. Kepa needed this, and you just held him against your chest.
Eventually, the sobbing returned to quiet sniffles. Kepa's grip didn't let up, but you could feel his body loosen up ever so slightly. Even though words wouldn't take away his negative emotions, you hoped you could fill him with the love and strength you had for him.
"I know what you're probably thinking Kep. But no matter what, I'm here for you. I will always be here for you. A few bad games don't define you or your self worth. I'm sorry these past few games haven't gone the way you wanted. But you tried your best with what you were given and that's absolutely more than enough."
Kepa pulled you even closer to him. You stroked his hair as you continued.
"You'll bounce back from this, mi amor. I know you will. You've trained so hard for this and I know you put your heart and soul into what you do every time you step onto that field. So while it hurts now, I promise your hard work will pay off. And when it does, I'll be right there in the crowd to cheer you on. It's okay to feel hurt. It's okay to feel disappointed. But tomorrow is another day to restart and try again. So you don't have to be strong tonight if you don't want to Kepa. I've got you."
Kepa truly didn't know how he managed to get someone like you. You were always so patient with him, especially when he was at his lowest and didn't know what to do. You understood him like no one else, not even himself. While his head was full of nothing but disappointment, his heart was full of love, and it was all thanks to you. And he knew that no matter what happened, whether it was yesterday, today, or tomorrow, you'd always be there with him.
Kepa brought his hand to your cheek, allowing you to rest your forehead on his. He didn't say anything, but he didn't have to. The way he gently kissed you spoke to how grateful he was to have you in his life.
Begin Again
First date with Kepa and all the nerves that come with that. One of those getting back out there after a breakup fics
Tumblr media
Word count: 1.6k
You take a deep breath looking in the mirror trying to fix the pleats of your tennis skirt before taking a final look at your outfit. It's been ages since you last wore your heels and you aren't even really sure if they even go with your sweater and skirt, but today is a perfect occasion to put them on again. Blake had hated it when you wore heels. Always complaining and nagging about the way they made you look like a prostitute or a desperate floozy. And so to avoid any arguments and complaints you had shoved the pair deep in your closet only taking them out when you were clearing out your closet. It's weird seeing yourself in heels again, your legs looking long and slender, a picture of femininity and beauty. You do a final twirl to see how you look before grabbing your purse and keys and heading out as to not be late.
You find a parking spot a few blocks from the cafe and get out of your car. Finding your headphones, you turn on the music for your walk smiling at the song that comes on shuffle. The song brings back memories of singing it loudly in your car drumming the wheel before the chorus starts. You frown remembering how Blake would always look at you weirdly as if you were an alien.
“You listen to this crap?” he would always ask his words laced with disgust.
You quickly skip the song trying to shake the memory from your mind. Suddenly your feet feel uncomfortable in the heels and your sweater is too tight. Honestly, what were you thinking - showing up dressed like this. Maybe you should just turn around and skip the date, claim you have a bug, there is still time.
But your plans soon falter when you see Kepa already standing by the cafe, waving at you. He looks gorgeous, wearing an oversized tshirt that hugs his broad shoulders perfectly paired with dark pants and a pair of sneakers. You can't help but almost trip over your feet as your eyes meet.
“Whoa there careful” Kepa chuckles, his accent is music to your ears “hey”
“Hi” you try to keep yourself from blushing
“Shall we go inside?” he asks a kind smile plastered on his lips
“Oh yes yes” you say eagerly
“You look very beautiful, I love the shoes” he compliments as you walk through the door of the little cafe
“Thank you” you manage to reply, fighting back a grin “You look very handsome too” “Thank you” he says walking next to you “wait let me!” He pulls out the chair for you, helping you sit down. You feel butterflies flutter in your stomach at the seemingly mundane action, something inside of you heating up. “Wow a gentleman” you tease as he makes his way to the chair opposite of you
“Of course! Especially for a girl as beautiful as you” he raises his eyebrows as a smile warms his features.
“Oh you are doing overtime work today aren't you” you shoot back matching his smile “trying your best to leave the best impression on me”
He tilts his head back laughing at our comment and instantly you feel yourself retreat into yourself. He must think you are being an idiot. Blake would have told you off for opening your mouth and saying something that stupid.
“What are you laughing about?” you try not sounding too defensive “You are funny” he says looking at you, his brown eyes full of kindness and honesty “You think that was funny?” you ask, trying to play it off as casual as possible.
“Yeah! It was silly funny you know” he says “I like silly funny” You feel heat travel to your cheeks again at the comment, but luckily Kepa is too busy looking at the menu to notice. You let your eyes roam over Kepa, taking in the sight properly. You feel mesmerised by how soft his skin looks, making you wonder how it would feel to run your fingertips up and down his arms. You think back to the last time you touched someone like that and feel something drop in your stomach.
You think back to the last eight months that have been some of the hardest of your life. Between going through a divorce and moving halfway across the globe to escape the town that felt so suffocating you've had almost no time to look for friends let alone love or intimacy. The last stint of you and Blakes marriage had made you develop a distaste for being with someone physically or emotionally. The constant fights and tears, compromises upon compromise had made you detest having to lean on a person. Growing up you had always thought love was easy, that it would swoop you off your feet and you would be on cloud nine. Sure it had felt that way with Blake at first, back when he would bring you flowers from his moms garden or your favourite doughnut from the gas station, but as years went on Blake had become complacent and wooing you had become a secondary thought to him. Soon enough, by the end of it, the two of you would spend more time arguing about anything than actually speaking, intimacy becoming an afterthought unless it was a quickie or frustration sex. Nothing that you would classify as intimacy or sensuality. However looking at the man sitting across from you at the moment you can't seem to keep your thoughts from wandering. You allow yourself to quietly take in the way Kepa's hair falls, the veins on his strong arms, the way whenever he smiles at you you see stars.
“So you always wanted to be a football player?” you ask intrigued, taking a sip of your cappuccino, watching him with a curious gaze.
Kepa throws his head back laughing that contagious laughter of his. The sound fills you up to the brim like the feeling of a warm room after having spent all day in the snow. You like seeing him like this, eyes shut and a content expression on his face. However part of you seizes up at his reaction to a seemingly mundane question.
“You have milk foam on your face” he says once his laughter subsides “here, let me help you” He reaches over the table and brushes your nose with his thumb bringing his finger to his lips, his chocolate brown eyes not leaving you once.
You can't help but chuckle, feeling yourself blush. You still cannot fully grasp that he finds you funny or adorable, when Blake you have made you feel like you were uncultured if you got your face dirty like that in public.  But Kepa is nothing like Blake. Kepa finds it endearing to see you like this, not a polished version, but clumsy silly you. He seems to like you for you and that makes a scary feeling of hope begin to build in your chest.
When you leave the cafe the sun is already setting over the London streets, the streetlights slowly turning on one by one. Kepa offers to walk you to your car and you agree, excited to spend as much time as possible with him. The walk is nice, his hand is in his pocket and you've looped yours around his elbow leaning against his side. Both of you walk slowly like you have nowhere else to be, soaking up every last bit of each other's company you can get. You steal a glance up at him only to notice him already looking back at you, his cheeks instantly turning pink making you throw your head back and laugh.
“You have a beautiful laugh” he blurts out
“That's the first time i get that compliment” you confess “might be one of my favourite ones ever”
“No one has ever told you you have a beautiful laugh?” he asks surprised
You almost tell him how Blake used to think it was too loud and too high pitched and how you've hated your laugh for so long due to that.
“It is one of my favourite things about you” he cuts you off before you can speak and ruin the moment “it reminds me of this actress from Love Actually”
“Love Actually?” you ask taken aback
“Yes, me and mamá, tía and abuela watch it every Christmas” he says, suddenly aware how silly it sounds making you chuckle at his cuteness.
“I've never seen Love Actually” you confess
“YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN LOVE ACTUALLY?” he stops the two of you in your tracks looking at you in surprise
“No” you laugh “is it that tragic that I haven't?”
“Yes it is a crime! We have to fix this!” he says very seriously, making you laugh more and more “Next wednesday we are watching Love Actually!”
“Next Wednesday?” you ask smiling
“Yes cause that's the one day im free” he says “same time as this week”
“So Wednesday is date night?” you ask
“Yes Wednesday is now officially date night” he proclaims and resumes walking, both of you sneaking glances at each other the whole way back to the car.
Kepa tells you about all the movies him and his family watch together on holidays and for the first time in a long time you can't find a painful memory associated with it. And finally for the first time in forever you feel yourself starting to fall head over heels in love all over again.
Kepa Arrizabalaga x reader
Word count: 1k
Summary: Kepa keeps you close trough ups and downs
Warnings: Fluff, talk about sex
Notes: This gif was too cute, my Tuchel heart is crying and also so so happy he is baaack! Also this is a very short one but I didn't wanna drag it out and felt like a great end for it.
Tumblr media
It had been a rough season, not only for Kepa but for you too. He said he was fine, that he was working to get better and that he was happy with the matches he got but you knew he was gutted. Having come in to Chelsea as a star-keeper, standing in every match to sitting on the bench the whole season was meant to be tough.
But he did as he said. He accepted that Mendy was better right now and took his time to train and develop even more to be ready when the day would finally come. He respected Tuchel, he loved Tuchel and knew he was right in the decision, that Mendy was better.
You tried to be supportive, keep pushing him to train and support the team from the bench but you could see and feel how hard it was. He was a great keeper and to know that and still see him on the bench was hard, not only for you but for fans too.
You would never be happy that someone was injured, especially not a friend like Mendy but you were happy that Kepa got the chance to make justice for his name, to get a revenge from the bench.
Keeping the clean sheet was important and when he succeeded he was over the moon, his smile contagious and the hug he gave you outside the changing room made your whole body flutter.
Tuchels sudden departure from the club was a punch in the gut, despite being benched Kepa loved the coach but as always he kept his head up, did the best of the situation and got to start in the next game, keeping the clean sheet.
He liked his new coach, talking to you about it, venting his feelings about being a part of the head fight to be standing within the poles again.
When Mendy was all fit and ready again and Kepa still got to stay in the goal you could tell how happy he was, not in any way because of winning the keeper spot over Mendy but because it was his passion, football was his passion and obviously you wanted to be apart of the real action.
In the game against Aston Villa you were sat on the stand. You had denied the box-spot and instead opted for a seat far down close to the Chelsea goal, planning to switch spot the next half-time to be close to the Kepa-action.
It was intense, Villa being a real attacking team, not letting Kepa rest at all. You screamed and cheered with the fans at all the amazing saves he did. You felt beyond nervous, your stomach fluttering and almost being unable to look but he was like spider man in goal and when the final whistle finally blew you cheered as loud as you could before exiting and sneaking your way into the players-area, waiting in the hallway as he did all the after-match talk and changing.
It wasn't too long tough until you spotted his brown curls in the door, soon met by the smile that lit up the whole room and you couldn't help but to giggle and run up to give him a huge bear hug.
"You were so good Kep" you smiled up at him, arms wrapped around his waist, his around your hips, hands resting on your ass and his smile was dazzling
"Thank you" he smiled "Felt so good to get that clean sheet, agh I love being back" he grinned, giggling like a school kid but it was adorable really. His eyes shining and smile contagious.
"I mean it, you deserve it"
He leaned down towards you, slowly and lovingly connecting your lips in a slow, sensual kiss. You didn't want it to stop and neither did he so you simply didn't. Only parting seconds to catch a quick breath.
"Oh wow guys" you heard a chuckle behind you making you break apart.
You turned around to be met by a grinning Mason Mount and Kai Havertz.
You knew most of the boys pretty well having been on several dinners and events plus some of the 'guy' nights Kepa was dragged too. You were at every game you could and were often around the training area to pick him up after a training or meeting.
"Hi guys" You smiled, untangling from Kepa and meeting them as they walked towards you, hugging Mason first "Good game Mase, two goals huh, amazing" you smiled, hugging Kai as well "You did great to Kai" You encouraged even if the german didn't seem to think so himself.
"Thanks y/n but Kepa was the real star today" Mase grinned, giving Kepa a bro-hug, Kai following his example, patting the Spaniards back.
"So, as we already told Kepa we are going out tonight, he said no but... do you wanna go? Maybe you can force him"
You chuckled, looking at Kepa who looked sheepishly att he floor. "You didn't wanna go huh?" you teased, knowing exactly why he didn't wanna go.
His cheeks reddened and you couldn't help feeling slightly bad for your boyfriend, walking to him and wrapping one arm around his back.
"Thanks Mase but I think we will have a home-night tonight" you smiled softly, Kepa looking at you from the side, smiling at your answer. "Okay, say no more you dirty people" he chuckled. You smiled, looking at Kepa who took the lead, "Well bye, see you Monday" He bid farewell "See you boys" you smiled, walking with Kepa out of the stadium and into the car.
"So" You grinned as you sat behind the wheel, drumming your fingers against the steering wheel.
Kepa sighed "I'm sorry okay, I didn't mean to take anything for granted. I just wanted to spend the evening with you, I don't care what we do" he admitted.
You smiled at his soft expression, your whole body fluttering with butterflies as you looked back at him and processed his words. "I know Kep, I was just teasing and despite, I will probably give you a little reward if you're up for it later"
He grinned at your words, leaning back into the seat with a content sigh as you drove off from the stadium and towards your home.
A Halloweeny date
Anyone you like ❤️
Tumblr media
Word count: 2159
When you and your boyfriend were getting to know each other, he asked you about your hobbies. Your answer was anything horror related.
He thought it was cute. Dating a tough girl who wanted to watch scary movies. But he couldn't expect the extent of your obsession. However, he was about to really find out.
A couple of weeks before Halloween, you showed up at his house with a huge smile on your face.
"Someone is happy to see me", he said.
"Oh my God! I have the perfect Halloween plan for us!!"
"Halloween? I've never celebrated it. Do you want to watch horror movies or something?"
Watch horror movies or something? Lame.
"What? No, we could do that every other day. We are going on a trip!", you said, beaming. And then proceeded to show him the leaflet of the little town you had found and that was the perfect spooky escapade for the two of you.
"A ghost town? Are you serious?", he asked, eyebrow raised.
"Yes. I've always wanted to do something like this. But all my friends and exes thought it was a stupid idea. You don't think it's stupid, right?", you said, puppy eyes ready to convince him.
"Tell me the whole plan".
He really couldn’t say no to your puppy eyes.
And so you did. You had it all planned to the last detail.
First, you'll be going on a ghost town tour. Some of the locations looked stunning, and perfect to turn your IG feed into spooky perfection. Then, you'll go to the cabin you had rented in the middle of the woods. That was the perfect place for all the other activities planned. But you didn’t share many of those details with him yet, wanting to surprise him.
"And maybe we can add a sexy spooky game to the list", you said to him.
"Yeah? What kind of game?", he asked you. Hearing the words sexy and game probably made him forget everything else you mentioned.
"I'll think about it", you said, kissing him. "So, do you want to come?"
He sighed. "Ok, let's do this".
"Yes yes yes!!!", you yelled, jumping in his arms. “You are the best!”
**
“Where is this town? We've been driving for so long”, complained your boyfriend while you drove to your destination.
“Stop complaining! We're almost there”.
“Is it a ghost town because everyone that sets foot here gets killed?”, he said, looking outside at the scenery. “This looks a bit too creepy for my liking”.
“Of course it does. They make it look creepy to fit the theme. You really are terrible at spooky stuff”, you laughed.
When you arrived, you parked near the entrance of the tour. It all looked so good!
“Where are we staying? Near this area?”
“That’s a surprise!”, you said, kissing your boyfriend. “You won’t believe how amazing the place I rented is”.
And then took his hand so he would follow you.
“Ah!”, he screamed for the 10th time when a spiderweb touched his arm.
“Babe, you are overdoing it a bit”, you laughed.
“This is creepy. And I don’t like the feel of spiderwebs. It’s too dark and I can’t see them”.
“You are the one who said this was lame when we went to the first house and now you’re terrified”, you said with a smirk, you loved seeing him being such a baby. He was always the tough footballer. Well, it was your turn to be the tough one today.
“That sexy game you promised me better be good”, he said, hugging you from behind and kissing your neck.
“You won’t be disappointed. Now take a photo of me in front of this. It's going to look so cool".
An hour later, you finally made it out of the last house and reached the shop.
“Should we buy each other Halloween presents?”, you suggested.
“That’s not a thing, love. No one buys Halloween presents”.
“We could make it our thing. Who cares about rules?”
So you ended up buying him a t-shirt, even though you knew it was you who’ll end up wearing it while you stayed at his place, and he bought you a skeleton necklace that you started to wear the moment you got out of the shop.
“Okay then. Time to go to our home for the day”, you winked.
“Should I be scared?”
“Of me? Never”, you said with an evil laugh.
"A cabin? In the middle of the woods?", he said when he finally saw your destination.
"Yes. Here no one will hear you scream".
"Ha ha".
But when you got inside he was actually impressed. The cabin was gorgeous and had a huge fireplace you were ready to use to set the mood and to help with the October chill.
"Aww, they bought everything I asked for", you said, checking the bags that were in the kitchen. “I’ll leave the best review when we leave”.
"What is that?"
"Ingredients for our cooking and some drinks for a game, maybe?", you said, wiggling your eyebrows.
"Oh, you are getting me drunk before killing me. So nice of you", he said, making you laugh. "This place is amazing. Slightly terrifying because we’re in the middle of nowhere, but amazing. Like you".
His compliment made you so happy. You put your arms around his neck to bring him closer so you could kiss him and let him know how much his words meant to you.
"This is only sweets?", he asked, checking the bags.
"In the bags, yeah. There is real food in the fridge. Don't worry. I just thought we could make some homemade Halloweeny sweets. There are so many recipes online".
"Sounds fun. And I'm too far away from civilization for my coach to know".
"I'll help you burn the calories later", you winked.
You picked up a few recipes, including the marshmallow ghosts and some simple cookies also in the shape of a ghost that you could have fun decorating with the frosting. Kid's stuff but it's not as if you knew how to do much better when it came to baking.
"We can eat this while watching a movie".
"I thought watching a movie was a lame plan for today", he said.
"Just watching a movie is lame. But of course we have to watch one. I already picked the perfect one", you said, getting the DVD out of your bag and showing him the cover.
"Cabin in the woods? Really? Let me guess. It's about people in a cabin in the middle of the woods who get killed".
"Kinda. But it's not that great. Bit of a guilty pleasure, you know? And it's not that scary either. Oh, and it has Chris Hemsworth in it!"
"Really? Are we partially watching it because of him?"
"Nah, he doesn't even take his shirt off. That's the scariest part of the movie", you said, faking a shiver and making your boyfriend laugh.
"I'll take my shirt off for you", he said giving you a kiss.
"Much much better than Hemsworth".
Once you had your pizza and your sweets ready to be consumed, you moved to the sofa to watch the movie.
“Zombies? Really?”, said your boyfriend looking at you with a big smile. He told you many times before that the only movies he wasn’t scared of were zombie movies, so you picked that one as a thank you to him for playing along with all the other activities you had planned.
“Ok”, you said as the movie ended. “How about you get the fireplace going while I get everything ready for our game?”
“Ok…”.
You could notice his eyes following you. He was intrigued about what you had planned and you were really hoping he wouldn’t find it disappointing.
“So”, you started, putting all the things on the table. “I thought about doing a little quiz. And if we get the question wrong, we have to do something out of a few options”.
“I’m listening”.
“Well, just stripping was going to make the game end too quickly. We aren’t wearing much”, you laughed. “So that’s one of the options, which is highly encouraged if it’s you answering wrong. But also we could take a shot”, you said, showing him the tequila bottle. “Or we can do a little bit of drawing”.
“Drawing?”, he asked you, confused.
“Yes. I got this glow-in-the-dark body paint and thought we could paint each other. And then when we go to the dark for other types of playing…well, we’ll get to see our creations”.
“Only you could come up with that idea”, he laughed. “But I love it”.
Your smile was so big it almost occupied your entire face.
“But”, he said. “It can’t be a horror quiz because you’ll have a big advantage”.
“I thought about that too. I’ll ask you horror movie questions and you’ll ask me football questions”.
“You’re kidding”, he said, laughing so hard you frowned.
“I know. I know…I only know the name of your team and the stadium where you play. I’m the one at a disadvantage. That’s how much I love you. I could easily make it so I win and get to do whatever I want to you”.
“Oh, you’ll get to do whatever you want to me later”, he said, grabbing you by the waist and putting you in his lap before kissing you. “And I love you too. Should we start?”
You went back to your seat and put everything in front of you so it’d be easy to reach whenever you needed it.
“Ok, let’s start with an easy one”, he said, forcing you to make a face. “Kinda. Which team has won the most leagues in England?”
“Manchester City”, you said, remembering that was the team that won the last one. So they at least had one.
“No, Manchester United”.
“That’s what I said. Manchester”, you complained.
“City and United are not the same. It’s like…”, he thought of an example you could understand. “Like an original movie and a remake. Like the Nightmare on Elm Street one”.
That made you shudder. “And who’s the crappy horrible shouldn’t exist remake? City or United?”
“Depends who you ask”, he laughed.
“Ok, as a punishment for missing. Though I was very close, I must add. I’ll choose a shot!”
You licked the salt off your hand, took the shot and then saw your boyfriend with a lime wedge in his mouth. You laughed and crawled towards him to get the lime and then get a kiss too since you were already there.
“Your turn! Who’s the first character killed in the original Scream movie?”
“Oh, easy. Drew Barrymore’s”.
“Wrong!”
“What?”, he said, shocked. “It is her!”
“It’s her boyfriend Steve. Everyone forgets poor Steve. Your punishment?”
“I’ll take my shirt off”.
“Who won the last World Cup?”, was the next question for you.
“Eh…England? No, I would have noticed. Wait! Brazil!”
“Wrong, it was France”.
“Of course it was. Ok…how about you draw something on me?”
And so he moved you closer to him to try and draw a ghost on your thigh. The drawing itself wasn’t great, but he kept on tickling you with the brush and his fingers and made you laugh. He looked so cute all concentrated that you couldn’t help but give him little kisses. Even though he complained about you distracting him, you knew he didn’t mind at all.
Forty minutes later, you were both sitting in just your underwear, slightly tipsy and with all types of drawings all over your body. After getting a Champions League question wrong, you asked for another glowy tattoo and so your boyfriend got to work.
“Turn around”, he said.
“But I wanna see”.
“Turn around”.
And so you did. His cold hand moved from your neck all along your spine, making you shiver in the best way possible. When he got to your bum, he took advantage of you wearing a thong to draw on one of your bum cheeks. He gave it a little squeeze and a kiss when he was done.
When you turned back to face him, you stopped him from going back to his seat.
“You know. I’m tired of this game now, maybe we should move to the next one”.
“Should we go see how we glow in the dark?”, he laughed.
“Yeah…and to see how smudge-proof this paint really is”.
**
Hours later, you lay in each other’s arms and you couldn’t believe how happy you were at that moment. Today had really been the perfect day.
"Thank you for being such a good sport and putting up with all my weird tastes. No one has ever made me feel like I’m not a weirdo for liking what I like until I met you. It means so much to me", you said.
"I have to love all of you, don’t I? Happy Halloween, my love".
“Happy Halloween”.
Relax - Kepa Arrizabalaga
Tumblr media
For the lovely, @toastykepa ❤️ Thank you @greykitkepa for being an amazing beta reader and motivating me!
Mafia!Kepa x Reader
Warnings: 18+, fluffy-ish, sort of smut
Word count: 720
Summary:
Helping a moody and stressed out Mafia!Kepa to relax.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You let out a hum when you spot Kepa sitting at his desk. He looks down at a contract of some sort, his eyebrows furrowed and his mouth turned down in a soft frown.
“Hi baby.” You mumble with a small smile.
Kepa looks up and throws a tired smile your way before looking back down at the paper resting on his desk. He lets out a small hum before mumbling “Hi.” You pout at his response, he always greets you with a large smile and soft eyes full of love and happiness.
Your heels click on the wooden floor as you continue walking towards him. He’s still zoned out and focusing on reading when you reach him. You feel his shoulders start to relax when you place one of your hands on the shoulder closest to you. You rest against his desk, your knee just touching his slack covered thigh and the edge of his desk pressing into the back of your thighs. His lips part and a soft sigh slips out as you drag your hand from his shoulder to cup his cheek.
“Mírame, mi amor” You whisper, rubbing his cheek with your thumb. His shoulders drop and he leans back into his chair, you can see the stress and worry slowly leave his body. His eyes finally move from the contract sitting on his desk to look up at you, his face softening in seconds.
“Lo siento, amor.” Kepa mumbles, one of his large hands moving across your lap to rest on your hip, bringing you closer to him.
You give him a small smile. “It’s okay, baby.” Leaning down, you press a kiss to the top of his head. Kepa relaxes into his chair more. Another sigh falls from his mouth. He tips his head back, his hand still resting on your thigh, his thumb now rubbing small circles over the thin fabric of your silk dress.
You watch him have a moment to himself, closing his eyes as each muscle in his body loosens up. He doesn’t move when you grab his hand and stand up. He hums and a small smirk slowly appears on his face when he feels you straddle him in his office chair.
“You need to relax, bebé.” You mumble, settling down on his thick thighs and wrapping your arms around his neck. You bring yourself as close to him as you can, pressing your chest against his.
Kepa tilts his head back as you trail soft kisses from the corner of his mouth to his neck. A quiet whine falls from his parted lips when you nip at his skin, creating a small mark on his neck just below his ear. He lets out another whine, feeling one of your hands drag down his body to the zipper of his black slacks. He chokes on a sigh as you unbutton them, undoing the zipper soon after.
Pulling your mouth away from his neck, you look over your work, smirking at the little purple marks scattered across his skin. “So pretty.” You whisper, leaning in to press your lips against his. He groans against your mouth, allowing your tongue to slip inside. You hold back a gasp when his hips push up against you, allowing you to feel how hard he is under you.
“Sé un buen chico para mí, mi amor.” You pull away from him and whisper against his red lips. You tangle your fingers in the hair at the back of his head and gently tug on it, causing his head to tilt back and his neck to be on full show to you. His lips part and a small gasp falls from his mouth, feeling more turned on from the slight pain and hearing you being so dominant.
“You’re my good boy, right baby?” You mumble, slithering a hand between both of you to gently cup him over his boxers. You smirk when his thighs twitch, knowing he’s beyond sensitive and ready for whatever you have planned. Kepa nods his head in reply, his eyes closing shut as he lets out a deep breath.
“Words, baby. Use your words.” You whisper.
“Si. Si, soy tu buen chico.” He manages to gasp out as you gently massage him, feeling him grow harder in the palm of your hand.

Forever and Always
Tumblr media
Summary: Things didn't work out the way you wanted, but that's okay because you're both still happy in the end.
Warnings: exes to friends!Kepa, slight angst, brief mentions of anxiety in the beginning but really nothing too bad, brief heartache but it has a happy ending I promise
Word Count: 2.5K
A/N: My attempt at writing angst for Kepa because literally I just can't do it lmao. This is lowkey a Christian fanfic ngl but I thought Kepa would make for the perfect ex since he's getting married to Andrea (I promise I'll fight him for her hand in marriage but anyways). Highly recommended you listen to "Never Ending Story" by Stray Kids. The English translation will have you SOBBING
~~~
You looked in the mirror, smoothing out your dress and adjusting the bow in your hair. You'd been standing there for the past 20 minutes readjusting everything. It was the big day after all. You needed to make sure everything was perfect with nothing to screw it up.
It was hard to describe how you were feeling. It was a sensation you hadn't really experienced before in your life. You were anxious, but it was both happy and incredibly nerve-wracking all at the same time. But you knew you had to go through with it and push through the feelings.
You took a deep breath, taking one last look at yourself before heading downstairs where your friend was waiting for you.
"It's finally the big day. Are you ready?" your friend asked you.
"As ready as I'll ever be," you replied nervously.
"Then let's get this show on the road," they responded, linking arms with you and leading you to the car. "You look great by the way. I know you're overthinking it but you look stunning."
"Thanks," you said appreciatively.
The closer you got to the venue, the more your stomach started to twist. You weren't regretting your decision in the slightest. Actually, this would be one of the best days of your life. Still, the anticipation was killing you. You just wanted to be in that moment already.
"You're not getting cold feet are you?" your friend asked as they parked the car.
"Never," you said fidgeting with your hands, the ring on your finger glistening as the light hit it. "Just a little nervous is all."
Your friend shook their head and looked at you.
"Hey, look at me. It's perfectly okay to be nervous right now. It's not dumb or stupid or weird at all. But you got this. You've made it this far and you know deep down, this is something that you've always wanted. This is a dream come true. So just take a deep breath, get out the car, and strut your stuff," they said.
"You know what? You're right. I've been looking forward to this for so long and I'm not gonna let some nerves try and ruin such an important day for me," you said confidently, letting out a shaky breath.
Your friend smiled. "That's my girl. Now let's go show that crowd who the fucking boss is!"
You stepped out of the car and adjusted your dress one final time.
"Does my hair look bad? I feel like it looks bad," you said, fussing around with the bow again.
Your friend swatted your hands away.
"Stop fussing! You look beautiful. Just take a deep breath okay?"
You took your friend's advice, breathing deeply while taking in the sight around you. Everything looked absolutely perfect. It was everything you'd imagined it to be. It just screamed him. You knew how absolutely meticulous he was and it paid off. The decorations were beautiful, the venue was stunning, and everything was set to be the perfect night. You couldn't wipe the smile off your face knowing that in a few moments, the promises you'd made to each other all those years ago would be permanently set in the vows that would be spoken.
Your heart ached ever so slightly.
The doors in front of you opened. Your breath hitched and your heart stopped as you saw him down the aisle. There he stood at the end of it, mirroring exactly how you felt. He was always better than you at keeping his emotions at bay, but you knew him well enough to know that his nerves were just as bad as yours.
He met your gaze, his heart skipping at the sight of you. You looked perfect tonight. You always did to him. The two of you smiled at each other from opposite ends of the aisle, taking in everything going on around you. It was perfect, just like you'd always wanted.
You started walking toward him, letting yourself be fully immersed in the moment. You knew you would remember the feeling for the rest of your life and you just wanted to enjoy it.
Your eyes never left his as you reached the very end of the aisle. You both stood there for a while, letting everything else around you fade away. You never spoke a word, but you knew exactly what the other was thinking. Your souls had always been intertwined that way since the day you met.
'I can't believe it's already here,' you grinned at him.
'I know. Just like we promised,' he grinned back.
The ache in your heart grew more prominent.
'Congratulations Kepa. I'm so so happy for you amor. You and Andrea deserve the world.'
He looked down at the ground, the ache also becoming present in his own heart. He cleared his throat before meeting your eyes again.
'Thank you princesa.'
A hand gently placed itself in the small of your back, causing you to jump and break eye contact with your ex lover.
"You doing okay?" your friend who was also your boyfriend asked you.
You swallowed the nostalgic ache, letting it pass through and smiling at him.
"Yeah I'm okay Christian. Just needed a minute," you said softly.
Christian kissed your forehead gently. You leaned into his touch feeling content.
"Let's go find our seats before Kepa has our heads for holding up his wedding," Christian joked, grabbing your hand.
You made eye contact with Kepa one final time. The ache in both your chests dulled as you smiled softly at each other in understanding. You gave him a thumbs up with your free hand making him laugh before Christian dragged you towards your seats.
The wedding was beautiful. Andrea was the most stunning bride you'd ever seen in your life. Quite frankly, you were half tempted to object just to ask for Andrea's hand in marriage. But the awestruck look in Kepa's eyes as he stared at his wife was enough for you to hold it in. The moment they said "I do," you were sobbing into Christian's arms. Christian was highly amused at your display of emotions but held you nonetheless, also happy for his friend and teammate.
You were on the dance floor with Andrea, Sophia, and some of the other WAGs having the time of your lives. You'd pretty much ditched your boyfriends/husbands for each other, leaving the men to try and out dance your little group. It turned into a strangely competitive little game, but it was hilarious nonetheless. It was genuinely such an amazing experience to share with all of your friends that you knew you wouldn't forget.
Deciding you needed some air, you excused yourself to sit outside on the steps for a bit. It was quiet with the rest of the guests inside the reception hall. The stars were shining brightly, the moonlight illuminating the world around you. You let out a sigh of content at how peaceful it was.
"I figured you'd be out here at some point tonight," a voice said behind you, breaking the silence.
"And I figured you'd notice when I slipped away," you snorted back not even flinching at your companion.
"Don't I always?"
The figure sat down next to you nudging your knee with his.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. You don't have to be such a smartass on your wedding day, Kepa," you retorted. "But you get one pass."
Kepa chuckled as you laid your head on his shoulder. You sat in silence for a bit, letting yourselves enjoy the presence of the other.
"Can I ask you something?" he asked hesitantly after a while.
"Always," you answered.
"Do you ever wonder if it could've been us in the end?"
"You're really asking me this on your wedding night?" you joked, trying to cover up the way your heart started to ache again.
He pushed you lightly making you giggle.
"Just a thought," Kepa said absentmindedly. "I figured if I was gonna ask you, tonight was as good as any to do it."
You hummed, not answering him right away. More silence fell between the two of you. He wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you closer into him. He placed his head on top of yours. You hadn't done this in a while, but your hearts recognized the familiarity.
"I think about it every time I look at you, amor," you almost whispered, breaking the silence once more. "If we're being honest, the heartache never fully went away. And I don't think it ever will."
"Me too."
"I'm happy it's Andrea. I know how much you love her," you said. "She's everything you deserve and more. Honestly, I'm not really why she settled for you when I'm right here but that's fine."
He chuckled. "Hate to break it to you, princesa, but Andrea is mine for the rest of eternity."
"I will fight you, you know."
His thumb rubbed your side gently the way he always used to.
"I'm happy you found a home in Christian. He's a good guy, and an even better one for you," Kepa said softly.
"It's funny. If you told me 10 years ago that I'd be at your wedding as a guest and not as your bride, I wouldn't have believed you," you said.
"I wouldn't have believed me either. The thought would've been too painful."
You giggled, thinking of the old memories you shared. "We used to practice our vows all the time. Remember? 'I promise I won't keep putting my cold feet on your stomach in the middle of winter.'"
"Or 'I'll stop accidentally kicking you at three in the morning.'"
The two of you were cracking up. You were so young, so naïve, but those moments meant everything to you even after all these years later.
"There was one vow I haven't broken yet. And I don't ever intend on breaking it," Kepa said seriously.
He removed his arm from your waist to take your hand in his, intertwining your fingers. It's funny how things work out. His hands fit perfectly with yours just like they always had. They were familiar and comforting. They were still home to you after all these years.
But no longer did you have the butterflies you used to feel when Kepa held your hands. Your heart no longer skipped a beat at his touch. You felt content, but the romantic feelings had fleeted long ago.
"And what's that?"
He squeezed your hand tighter, kissing the back of it.
"I vowed that I will love you forever and always. That no matter what happens, I will always love you."
He lifted his head from yours and gently moved so that your foreheads were touching. His hand let go of yours only to place it on your cheek. His thumb gently stroked your cheek and you leaned into him.
"You're still home to me, princesa. Maybe not in the way we expected, but nothing will ever change that."
"You'll always be home to me too, Kepa."
You squeezed your eyes shut, taking a deep breath. Your heart ached, but you knew it always would.
"I love you Kepa Arrizabalaga, forever and always."
"I love you Y/N Y/L/N. And nothing will ever change that."
You wrapped your arms around his neck while his went around your waist. And you held each other tightly under the moonlight, hoping that you would never have to let go.
To any outsider, it may have looked strange. The groom acting in such a way with someone who wasn't his bride. But Andrea and Christian both knew even they couldn't come in the way of a first love. You and Kepa were each other's firsts for everything. And though you may not have been endgame, you would always love each other.
Calling your breakup "devastating" was a severe understatement. It was a mutual decision, but it didn't make it hurt any less. You loved each other long before you knew what love really was. But you were both young and stupid, still trying to navigate your way through life. And as much as the two of you loved each other, you knew that staying together the way you wanted was never going to be how your story ended.
But fate never led to astray from one another. The two of you went your separate ways for a while, not contacting the other just to help you move on and live your separate lives. Eventually, Kepa met Andrea, who was everything you couldn't be for Kepa and more. She was truly his perfect compliment and you were relieved to see someone love him the way he deserved.
Likewise, you fell in love with Christian along the way. Funnily enough, it was Andrea who had introduced the two of you. He wasn't Kepa, but he didn't need to be. Christian brought out the best in you and you were the happiest you'd ever been. You didn't think you'd ever get over Kepa, but Christian completely changed your mind. He made you believe in love again. And Kepa couldn't have asked for anyone better for you.
"Okay, enough of this sappy stuff. You have a bride in there waiting for you an if you don't hurry back to her, she'll be my wife by the end of the night," you half joked, trying to wipe the tears that formed away. "It's sort of a joke but not really so go before I actually fight for her."
Kepa chuckled.
"Thank you for coming, princesa. It means a lot to me," he said seriously.
"I wouldn't have missed it for the world, amor," you said smiling back at him.
Kepa gently kissed your forehead, letting his lips linger for a moment before standing up.
"Do you want to come back inside?" he asked as he dusted off his suit.
You shook your head.
"Don't worry about me, Kepa. Go to your wife."
"Impossible. I'll always worry about you, Y/N."
You chuckled. "I can pretty much guarantee Christian is awkwardly waiting behind the doors for you to leave so he can check on me. I'll be fine amor."
And you were spot on. Kepa busted out laughing seeing Christian sheepishly emerge. You looked over at Kepa smugly, 'I told you so' being written all over your face.
"She's all yours mate. I got a wife to keep away from her," Kepa winked. They did a quick handshake, Kepa patted Christian's back afterwards. He met your eyes one last time, twinkling with happiness before joining everyone inside.
You stood up, dusting your dress off. You skipped over to Christian kissing his cheek, your own eyes twinkling.
"I'm all good I promise," you said before he could ask.
"I know you are baby. Now let's go out dance everyone on that dance floor."
You giggled and took his hand.
Things weren't what you expected. You didn't end up marrying Kepa like you'd hoped for and the heartache you felt every time you looked at him would never fully go away. But he was much too important for you to lose. Kepa was your home, and you were his. Your hearts would always be intertwined in some way and the love you shared would always be there. And that was more than enough.
III.
Daddy's girl
Did someone say good vibes, Kepa and puppy content? (ft. Ben, Mase and Kai)
Tumblr media
“Kep, we can’t take her in” you said for the fiftieth time today as Kepa nuzzled his nose into your shoulder as both of you were curled up on the couch.
“But babe look at her little eyes” he said holding up the puppy in his arms.
“Kep, honey” you sighed “we don’t have the time…”
He pulled back a pout evident on his plump lips.
“Babe you are busy with Chelsea and I have heaps of work to tackle. Between the two of us we barely have time to take care of ourselves let alone…” Kepa sighed as he looked down at the puppy apologetically. “Lo siento princesa, big boss says no, I tried my best.” He murmured
“Oh don’t make me the bad guy now” you glared at your boyfriend before looking at the puppy.
She was a gorgeous black boarder collie with big brown eyes, her fur curling in loose waves on her back. Kepa had found her crying, left in a soaked cardboard box in some bushes on his morning run and brought her home instantly. His own brown eyes had been identical the puppy’s as he floated the topic of taking the stray in. You had done your best to avoid the pleading gaze of the pair the majority of the morning. Luckily Kepa had been busying himself by giving her a warm bath and now having spent the majority of the last hour carrying her around, cradling her to his chest as if she was his child.
“We’ll find you a good home baby” you cooed running your fingers through the dog’s fur, trying to ignore Kepa’s puppy dog eyes next to you.
“Yes! I’ll not let you go to a home where you aren’t treated like a little princess” he cooed at the dog
“Maybe one of your friends wants her?” You asked looking at your boyfriend curiously “I bet you would not mind being tio Kepa”
You suppressed a love sick chuckle at the way Kepa’s eyes lit up at the potential nickname.
“I’ll make some calls” he said determined as the puppy had now fallen asleep in his lap.
Kepa’s first offer had been Mason, as the man had been talking about getting a dog for ages. When Kepa had called to offer the man to meet the little dog, Mason had jumped at the opportunity. He had told Kepa to come to Ben’s house and to bring the puppy along.
Kepa had volunteered to drive instructing you to hold the puppy while on the way to Ben’s. You were not stupid knowing exactly what the hidden intentions of the man were. You avoided the animal’s face keeping your eyes trained on the road as to not give your boyfriend the satisfaction of crumbling in the moments before you could hand it off to Mase.
The moment you got out of the car Ben’s door popped open revealing a grinning Mason. “Where is my new little baby?” He said grinning from ear to ear
“Right here” you smiled lifting the puppy a little bit as you slid out of the car.
“Give her here!” As he approached put out his hands as if he was a small child asking for a toy. You couldn’t help but laugh fondly as you obliged with the request.
“Mason be careful” Kepa said frowning “she’s still small! Don’t squeeze her” “I’m not gonna-“ “Mason you almost dropped her”
“I’ll go say hi to Ben” you said eager to get away from the argument and eventual scolding that was currently brewing.
You walked through the door kicking off your shoes before venturing into the living room in search of the left back.
You found the man sitting on the couch his nose in his phone and Oscar curled at his feet.
“Hey there” you laughed
“Oh” he looked up smiling “Hey! So where is the puppy?” “Mason and Kep are having a stern conversation about how to hold her” you said plopping down in a chair opposite of the couch “So it’s gonna be a while" “You know how Kep can get when he has to explain something”
“Should we go save the dog?” “I’ll give them a few more minutes before I go break it up” you rolled your eyes playfully earning a laugh from Ben.
“How are you?” You gestured to his elevated knee currently sporting a bright blue ice pack
“On the mend” he said petting Oscar’s head “Oscie is helping me get all better”
“I bet he is” you smiled at the two as you heard voices approach.
“That was quick” you said to Ben who bit back a laugh as the pair rounded the corner.
“Give me back MY dog!” Mason wailed as Kepa stomped in, the puppy wrapped in his strong arms.
“Mason you are too rough with her!” Kepa grumbled
“I am not” Mason protested.
“Hi Kep” Ben laughed at the antics of his two friends, knowing he was clearly an afterthought.
“Hey” Kepa smiled walking over to the couch ignoring Mason’s pleas.
“So that’s the little troublemaker I’ve heard so much about, hm?” Ben hummed looking at the bundle in Kepa’s arms.
“Yes this is her” Kepa smiled at Ben as Mason plopped down next to Kepa. “Hi there little one” Ben cooed leaned over to scratch her nose
“She’s so cute right” Mason beamed “I cannot wait to show everyone. Can I hold her?”
Kepa sighed as he handed the dog over to the younger. Mason smiled down at the little dog as it let out a small sound. His fingers tangling into her silky fur as he grinned down at the dog.
“How are you feeling Ben?” Kepa asked looking over at his teammate as Mason played with the puppy all of his attention on the animal.
“Better” Ben smiled at the goalie “will be back to defending you in no time.”
The three of you fell into comfortable conversation while
“FUCK!” Mason shouted “not on my good pants!”
All three of you looked at him instantly. Mason was holding the puppy in the air, a big wet spot on his lap.
“Mason put the dog down” you frowned
“She’s yelping” Kepa said as his arms flew to take the dog off his teammate instantly going to soothe her.
“She peed on me” Mason cried out
“Yeah mate” Ben laughed “she’s a lil’ puppy… they pee”
“It’s nasty” Mason said making a disgusted face
“Well you better get used to it” you said “they do that a lot. It’s one of the reasons me and Kep can’t keep her… it’s a twenty four hour job”
“So now I have to smell like puppy pee all the time?” Mason frowned looking at his lap.
“Pretty much… You can borrow some of my pants this time Mase” Ben said finally having his laughter under control “just go find a pair… and not the good ones… I know you’ll never bring them back”
Mason rolled his eyes getting up from the couch and disappearing around the corner.
“Babe…” Kepa’s eyes were full of panic as he looked at you
“I know baby” you said frowning “but give him a chance… to be fair I think he is rethinking the whole dog dad situation while looking for Ben’s best pants” “He better not be” Ben huffed looking at the puppy, his blue eyes shimmering as the dog wagged it’s tail at him.
“You wanna hold her?” Kepa asked
“Can I?” He asked reaching out his hands as Kepa passed the dog to the defender who broke into a huge smile as the puppy’s little pink tongue hit his stubbly cheek.
“Aw she likes you Benny” you cooed
“She’s such an angel” Ben smiled rubbing the puppy’s head “the littlest snuggle bug aren’t you?”
Oscar lifted his head making an annoyed sound at Ben out of jealousy towards the petite creature in his arms.
“Oh stop it you” he said rolling his eyes at the older dog “I still love you most”
“You should take her” Kepa said “she adores you”
“I don’t think Oscar would be very happy” Ben chuckled “besides I’m in no state to chase a puppy around the house with the leg and rehab and everything.”
“Well we can’t give her to Mason” you said under your breath earning nods from both the men on the couch
“Have you offered her to Kai? He has a mini dog farm” Ben asked now rubbing the dog’s belly as she laid on his lap.
“That’s a good idea” you smiled at the man “Kep, text him”
“Poor Mase” Kepa said “he was so excited”
“I think the pee incident might have cured the urge to adopt, those were his favourite pants” Ben chuckled
“Double poor Mase” Kepa said trying to suppress a laugh
“Stop laughing it’s not funny” you said biting your lip not to laugh
Kai’s house was beautiful surrounded by trees and plenty of area for dogs to walk and play. You smiled at Kepa as you pulled up to the house.
“See pequeña” Kepa cooed “this is gonna be a much better fit than Mason’s flat”
The dog looked up at the man with an empty, excited expression.
“I really think she could be happy here” you smiled fondly
“I just hope Kai falls in love with her” Kepa scratched the puppy’s ear
“How could he not?” you kissed Kepa’s cheek “She’s a little heart stealer”
“Didn’t work on you” he mumbled but you decided to pretend you had not heard getting out of the car.
“Hey” Kai’s familiar voice rang from the doorway as a trio of excited dogs flooded out of the door, running circles around you and Kepa.
“Kai!” Kepa grinned
“What’s up bro? What did you wanna talk about?” Kai asked cheerfully walking towards the two of you “Uhh…” you smiled at Kepa
“I wanted you to meet someone” the man next to you took over from you. “Oh” Kai looked at you questioningly causing you to just smile and tilt your head towards the dog in your boyfriend’s arms.
“Oh my who is this?” Kai cooed walking up to the goalie inspecting the pet closer.
“This is a puppy I found this morning on my run” Kepa began “and since we can’t really keep her we are trying to find someone to take her in… we tried Mase and-“ “Mason?” Kai lifted his eyebrow “I love him but I don’t think he’s fit to take care of a puppy” “Yes we are aware” you said rolling your eyes
“Then we offered her to Ben” Kepa continued as Kai bent down to the dogs eye level “but he has his injury and Oscar and just…” “Yeah I get it” Kai smiled up at his friend
“And then he suggested…” Kepa trailed off “…that we maybe try seeing if you might fall in love with her…” you continued
“… and maybe keep her” Kepa said sheepishly
Kai looked up at the both of you, straightening up meeting both you and Kepa’s eyes. His grey eyes darting between the two of you.
“So?” You whispered finally “what do you think?”
“I’d have to check with Sophia” Kai said the gears clearly turning in his head “And-“
You smiled encouragingly at Kepa who returned the favour to you.
“I don’t know-“ Kai frowned as he kept petting the dog’s head “With all my dogs and Chelsea… But she is adorable”
“You wanna hold her?” You asked hoping that would seal the deal.
“I see what you’re trying to do” Kai laughed as he took the animal from Kepa’s arms hugging her close to his chest “it’s not gonna work… well maybe”
Both you and Kepa let out a laugh as Kai’s features melted looking at the dog.
“I think it worked” Kepa said
“Don’t say that” Kai groaned
“I mean you have a gazzilion dogs already” you said teasingly “what’s another one?”
“I have to ask Soph” Kai said “she’s already been on my ass for adopting dogs the last time” “Well let me take a picture of you with the dog so you can show her” you smiled pulling out the phone and snapping a picture of the midfielder and sending it to him grinning.
“There” you smiled “now you can have a conversation about having addition to the family later… And I know she won’t be able to say no.”
The drive back home was quiet, Kepa cradling the dog close to his chest whispering something in spanish to the little animal.
“I was so sure Sophia would agree and fall in love with her” you soothed your partner “We can keep looking for a home tomorrow”
“I just want her to get a good home you know” Kepa didn’t take his eyes off the dog. “I know me too” you smiled focusing your eyes on the road
Once you got home you disappeared to get some work you had neglected due to your little road trip done leaving Kepa to keep an eye on the dog. He had barely spoken to you after you had left Kai’s house and to be honest you felt maybe giving him space was the best scenario right now. A few hours of peace and quiet with his thoughts usually helped him reset. And you could spend the time looking for potential homes to present him.
You walked into the living room a few hours later to see Kepa, with the puppy laying on his bare chest, both of them softly snoring as some old movie played in the background. There was something about the soft curls of his hair falling over his forehead and the peaceful, soft expression adorning his usually tightly wound features. Your chest tightened as the sight practically melted your heart. You had sworn all day to not let the puppy sway your decision whether to keep it, but what you had not accounted for was that gorgeous, cute boyfriend of yours to look so paternal with the tiny animal that somehow mimicked him. There was no way you would be letting her go now.
You snapped a quick photo of the two of them so you could print it out later and hang it on the fridge or use as your lock screen. As you moved a floorboard loose floorboard creaked making the puppy lift her head from where it had been melting against Kai’s chest. Her eyes were sleepy yet full of curiosity, big and brown identical to Kepa’s whenever you woke him.
“Shh” you shushed her “don’t wake Kep”
The puppy let her head fall back against his skin as her eyes flattered closed once the sense of danger had passed.
“You really are daddy’s girl huh” you chuckled as you savoured the moment for a bit before going to tell Kapa he could keep the little animal.
A/N Thanks for reading ❤️ Sorry for any mistakes I’ve been distracted but I just wanted to get it out asap. So yes I’m aware its clumsy af.
Moonbloom
Tumblr media
Summary: Your daughter accompanies Aemond through the various stages of your pregnancy.
Pairing: Aemond Targaryen x fem!reader
Warnings: Pure fluff. Dad Aemond.
A/N: Can be read as part 2 of Of Flowers & Dragons, but also as a stand-alone. Hope you enjoy it!
Word count: 1.5k
It had been decided the previous day with Aemond that you’d tell her today.
The maesters had advised against it in case something went wrong as it had only been a couple of moons, but after weeks of withholding such information, today felt like the appropriate day.
Besides, you were starting to show.
Thankfully, Aemond was around already spending time with your daughter in the Red Keep’s gardens.
Targaryens took to the skies on their dragons, but she insisted on having her hands in soil and dirt, bringing seeds to life.
You watched from the balcony as your daughter of six knelt on the floor, hands and silver hair covered in dirt as she tended to her pots of colourful flowers.
Aemond stood nearby, looking elegant as ever.
But as you paced down the stone steps towards them, it was made clear both of them were bickering in High Valyrian.
A smile formed on your lips from the exasperated look on his face.
It was to be expected, after all.
Two dragons with fiery tempers were bound to clash.
He suddenly removed the tie that held his hair back and lowered himself to eye-level with the young child, bringing her unruly strands into a high knot.
She huffed in annoyance, pushing his hands away. “Kepa!”
It filled you with nothing but joy to watch his face soften into an adoring smile.
Noticing your presence, she stuck out her tongue at him in a clear display of defiance and ran to you.
Her cheek was soon pressed to your belly, short arms enveloping you into a tight hug, a single cutting of Moonbloom tucked behind her ear.
“Muña!” she beamed, rubbing stains of dirt into your dress. “Look at my garden! Grandmother says it’s the prettiest in King’s Landing.”
You ran your hands along her head, tidying a few strands in place. “Queen Alicent is absolutely correct.”
Aemond joined you, planting a tender kiss to your forehead, his now loose hair tickling your face. “Do we tell her?”
She pouted. “Tell me what?”
He crouched at her side, bearing the faintest smile, but enough to send your stomach into a lurch. “You wanted a sibling—”
But before Aemond could carry on, your daughter broke into a deafening shriek, causing birds in nearby trees to take flight.
Her mouth was left hung open in sheer excitement as Aemond placed her tiny hand on your discreet bump.
Lilac eyes widened and locked with his. “You planted a seed in mother!”
Her high-pitched remark turned a few heads and you could immediately spot panic settling on his handsome face.
“Sīr eglie daor,” he said, lowering his own voice. “Not so loud, little one.”
But your daughter cared not for manners in that moment and brought both hands to your belly, glaring at it in confusion.
“When do I get to meet my sibling?”
“Not for a few moons,” you told her.
She planted a soft kiss atop your bump. “Do I have to water it?”
You chuckled. “It won’t be necessary.”
Aemond placed his own hand next to hers. “All you have to do is aid me in taking care of your mother so she can take care of your sibling.”
Pressing another kiss, she glared at him. “That is all?”
He nodded. “Are you up for this very important, challenging, and difficult task?” he said dramatically while narrowing his eye.
She balled one fist and raised it high, her face twisting into a defiant smile. “Yes!”
Aemond came walking in, footsteps as light as feathers as he paced across the poorly lit bedchamber, carrying his daughter.
You propped yourself on an elbow to better take in the adoring sight of the young prince holding his daughter against his chest, her face resting on his shoulder as her arms dangled with each step.
“Maybe we should have waited,” you whispered as he came to sit at the edge of the bed.
He shook his head. “Dawn is breaking.”
She was still fast asleep, but you had made a promise to her and promises are to be kept.
Aemond made sure of that.
He tried lowering her to lay next to you, but she immediately clamped her arms around his neck, whining softly.
Silently, he loosened her grip and brought her down next to your prominent belly.
She whined once again from the sudden lack of warmth he had provided, but soon shifted to curl into you.
“Wake up…” you said, dragging the back of your hand across her cheek.
Aemond pushed your nightgown up to expose your skin to her touch. “Byka Zaldrīzes…”
Little dragon.
That term of endearment was reserved for special moments, so he had once told you.
This was one of those.
Slowly but surely, you daughter stirred from her sleep, rubbing both hands across her fluttering eyelids.
With a jaw-popping yawn she stretched herself into your belly and, through sleepy eyes, she glared at Aemond in confusion.
“The babe is kicking,” he said.
The effect of those words was immediate and she promptly placed both hands on your belly.
She had made you promise you would let her know when you felt the first kicks, but nothing could have prepared you for how endearing it was to witness your daughter glaring expectantly, dragging her tiny palms across the stretched skin.
The babe kicked harshly inside you and you saw her eyes widen. “I felt it!”
Aemond’s eye was on yours and the glare he offered you made your heart swell with adoration.
If someone had told you that a few years ago Aemond would have traded early morning sword practice for time with his family, you’d ask them not to be absurd.
He placed a large hand on her back, rubbing her gently as she dove into a monologue with her sibling.
“You are very impatient,” she whispered as if she hand suddenly entered a world that was only theirs. “Must be dark in there… but you’ll come out soon and I’ll even let you tend to my flowers.”
Aemond chuckled. “Even your precious moonbloom pots?”
She paused in contemplation.
“… yes,” she ended up saying. “But only after making sure they’d be left intact,” she concluded with a determined smile.
“No harm would come to your flowers, sweetling,” he said, placing his other hand on your hip, his thumb rubbing your skin absentmindedly. “Besides, Uncle Daeron would have more shipped from Oldtown if something were to happen.”
The babe rammed into you once again, startling your daughter. “Was I also like this?”
“Very much so,” he said. “You were bent on not letting your mother rest properly… and, by extension, me.”
Her face lightened up. “I will ask grandmother if you were the same way, kepa.”
A smile curled his lips and lit a fire in you.
Your second labour went by much faster than your first one and, by the time you felt the babe’s pushing down, no guards or handmaids were able to contain your daughter from sneaking inside the busy chamber.
Aemond was at your side every step of the way and made no further effort at keeping the young Targaryen at bay.
Wide-eyed and in complete silence, she strode forward to stand by your side, gripping two flower crowns in her hand.
“Push, my lady,” the maester urged. “Push, push!”
You were fortunate to have your husband sitting behind you, holding you in place and silently being the source of strength you required to push through the final moments.
Through gritted teeth, you mustered the last remnants of vigour within you and tried your best to heed the maester’s words.
Sweat rolled down your face and with a final scream, you felt the pain down below ease and the pressure vanish.
“A boy!” the old man said as he wrapped the babe with cloths
You slumped into Aemond’s chest, breathing heavily as tears rushed from your eyes.
An angry cry tore through the room as the young dragon announced himself to the world around him.
“Do you wish for me to take her outside for a while, my prince?” one servant asked, gazing at your daughter.
“Leave her be,” you heard Aemond snarl as she looped one arm around yours, holding on tightly.
She bared her teeth dramatically, frowning deeply at the failed attempt to have her taken away from your side.
As soon as they managed to cut the cord, another handmaid brought the babe to your arms, turf of silver hair sticking to his tiny head.
Relief washed over you as you embraced your son near your flustered chest.
Thorough your hazy state of mind, you didn’t even notice your daughter was holding out one moonbloom flower crown to you.
She seemed hesitant… even tense.
“Thank you, my love…” you breathed out, allowing her to place it on your head. “Thank you…”
“Can I…”
Your eyes shot to her lilac ones as she pouted, holding yet another flower crown, but a much smaller one this time.
“Made it with kepa…”
Aemond planted a long kiss to the top of your head before taking the crying babe into his arms and lowering him just enough for her to peak through with a gasp.
“Ooooh…”
Surprisingly, the babe’s cries came to a sudden halt when she placed the crown on top of the cloth wrapped around him.
One handmaiden placed a damp rag to your forehead and you sighed as your daughter carefully ran teo fingers along his face.
“Do you think he’ll like me?”
Aemond pulled her close to him and pressed a kiss to her forehead. “He already does.”
