We can bring her back, I need your help but we can bring her back!” Stiles says excitedly, ignoring the look Peter is throwing him, knowing that it’s better for him to not fully explain unless he absolutely has to.

“Darling, it’s been over a year since her death, any resurrection spell won’t work anymore. It is too late for that. I am too late to correct my mistakes.” Peter says defeatedly, clearly accepting that he’s made mistakes and that they are, in his mind, permanent.

RAIVEN: Raiven is travel. Old, picturesque buildings to giant skyscrapers to desert hikes and mountain climbs. Raiven is train rides in tiny compartments and long lines for sightseeing. And for as much as Raiven travels physically, her mind wanders just as far, as she sketches and paints all she sees. Raiven is paint-splattered fingernails that look like nail art and old T-shirts covered in charcoal. Raiven is an observer, and a recording, mapping all she sees on her travels in a teal-binded sketchpad.

The Sterek Secret Santa 2023 Reveal Post 

Ho Ho Ho!

Thus concludes the eleventh edition of the Sterek Secret Santa!

I hope you all have had a fantastic Christmas and that you’ve enjoyed all the Sterek-y goodness created by all the lovely secret santas!

I’d have been nowhere if it wasn’t for the following AMAZING Christmas Angels, who all embraced the true Christmas spirit of giving by merrily coming to my aid to make sure no one was left without a gift: @geekmom13, @trinitorettomadrigal, @always-mimits I cannot thank you all enough <3

two (?) small gifts for @kevaaronday as part of the @aftgexchange. here’s some holiday renison!

I so desperately wanted to write you a full fic, but couldn’t pull up the inspiration for it. However, under the cut there is a tiny tiny ficlet that goes along with the moodboard

Renee closes the car door and silence - for the first time all weekend - envelops them. Allison is quite, a thoughtful look on her face as she peers through the window at her family’s mansion, the sprawling estate beyond. It’s everything she could have inherited, Renee knows, everything that Allison thought she would never hold in her cupped palms again. 

But she had accepted the invitation from her mother, the opportunity to spend a Christmas weekend together for the first time in three years. And it was a long weekend, full of manners that Renee didn’t know and discussions about politics and religion that Renee didn’t agree with, and so many, many low-aimed cutting remarks at Allison that it’s a miracle she’s still walking.

Allison looks at Renee and a frown pulls at her lips, drags the tiniest of creases down the center of her forehead. Before Renee can ask what’s wrong, Allison punches her in the arm. “Of course they fucking adored you. Couldn’t possibly have them hate you and absolutely make my weekend, could we? No.” The frown can’t last. Allison breaks into a grin, and Renee starts laughing. 

“Maybe I should have tried harder,” Renee says, turning the key to roll over the engine. More than once had she wanted to speak her mind, but people are entitled to their opinions, no matter how horrendous they may be.

“Please,” Allison snorts, “no one can hate you for long. Even Neil got over it.”

Renee’s smile softens at the mention of Neil, and her thoughts drift to him and Andrew and their holiday plans. “We should call them before we get home,” she says. “London’s five hours ahead.”

Allison’s hand is light on Renee’s arm. “Hey, I... I have another present for you,” she says, capturing Renee’s attention fully. A light blush rises to Allison’s cheeks as she holds out her gloved hand and produces a jewelry box. “I know you’re not one to make a big deal out of things like this, so I’m compromising.” 

Renee doesn’t dare breathe, eyes skipping like heartbeats between Allison’s face and the box. Allison lifts the lid, showing off a gorgeous ring. “This is why I came back here. Not to annoy my parents. To get this. It was my grandmothers.” Allison swallows; Renee doesn’t think she’s ever seen Allison so hesitant, stumbling so carefully in the dark. “I want you to have it. I want you to marry me.”

There’s a pleasant laugh trying to push its way past Renee’s teeth, but she just leans forward and presses her smile against Allison’s full lips, saying yes into a shared breath. “I want you to marry me, too,” Renee says, and she pretends Allison’s hands aren’t shaking when the ring is slid onto her finger.
