Dandelion Union Leaders stylization project is finally done!

Took longer than expected and it has been a ride, but I can’t say I didn’t have fun.

This piece was one of my early ventures into stylization and also one that showed me, even better, that stylizing can be freeing.

My favorites are probably Elrena and Strelitzia! Ones I’d like to re-draw most are Brain and Ventus!

God the connection of Roxas and Ventus looking so much like each other is really something I wish they’d explored more, especially what with a good chunk of the Organization members all having a very close connection to Ventus in some form from Xemnas being the Nobody of Terra (or somehow connected similarly?? I’m kinda confused in that), Markuxia and Larxene both being the Nobodies of Dandelions (which brings to question exactly what were their plans for Castle Oblivion actually and did it have something to do with the fact Ventus was hidden there), and Xigbar being revealed to have been the MoM who started the whole mess. I mean, sure there’s plenty of room to go over it later and Kingdom Hearts is very well known for retconning it’s story a lot, but it’s be nice to have seen it in the one game where the story of the Organization members were all focused on the POV of the “villains” rather than Sora and his friends.

Stylization of the KHUX crew is finally finished!

Took longer than expected, but I also wen back to re-do lines I did previously - simply because I wanted to make them thinner - so that they would all fit in together

It has been a ride, but I can’t say I didn’t have fun.

This piece was one of my early ventures into stylization and also one that showed me, even better, that stylizing can be freeing. I tend to end up with a very narrow focus when I’m drawing - getting frustrated with anatomy or perspective or some other detail that just ‘doesn’t look right!’ so I keep re-drawing and fixing.

With this I can let go of my ridiculous need for realism in a 2D medium!

My favorites are probably Elrena and Strelitzia! Ones I’d like to re-draw most are Brain and Ventus!

All in all I am satisfied, especially given how long of a pause I had between drawings. The final product is satisfying, that’s all I can ask for. :D

Au where Ephemer is the only Union Leader who’s actually supposed to be there, everyone else is the “traitor”.

(Note: Just like in canon, Ven is not aware that he is a fake Union Leader. The others, however, are fully aware of that. What they are not aware of is that everyone besides Ephemer is a faker, leading to them having this dynamic:)

I'm sorry I wont do the Foretellers anytime soon as I kinda need their hair color to actually design them, but as their hair and eyes colors are hiden its mostly impossible. Same for the Master of Master and hooded Luxu, I want to avoid using clothes, especially when posting them on Toyhouse or they'll get deleted :(

Btw I'm working on the KH x WC blog as many of you voted for it! I am currently working on the pfp and banner. It should be up soon :)
