Something Old Sunday

I haven't done one of these before, so I had to narrow down what to reply with. Based on your reply, I could think of "2004 Yu-Gi-Oh! fan art," "first Fallout art," and "oldest digital art." Ultimately I decided to go with one of the oldest digital pieces I can find on my hard drive. It wasn't *the* first but it was certainly *one* of the first. The file says it's from 2002 but it always feels older somehow? He's working on his PokéDex.

RELATIONSHIP STATUS: I got courthouse married to @edaworks in November 2023! I wore ripped jeans and my Born in the USA Bruce Springsteen shirt. We ate at a local taqueria and visited Ikea after. I highly recommend getting it done in the courthouse and then planning for a ceremony later. We're both law-brained and understand marriage is not just the connection between people but getting a lot of really important paperwork in order - figuring out a will, pre/post nup agreements. Relationship status affects taxes, finances. Our relationship was already "as good as married" and a legitimate marriage affording us the rights befitting spouses was most attainable in a courthouse. We still cried and it was still beautiful.

I actually have a writing wip for once! all of my art wips are in that funky trust the process phase right now so those don’t get to see the light of day yet

Danse had asked him to go scope out a location north of Cambridge, which they’d done many times together, except the Paladin had finally decided Reed could handle it on his own. Well, not technically by himself; Margot, his beloved canine companion and the only living thing he had left from his past life, had accompanied him like always. The Dutch shepherd mix trotted in loose circles around Reed while he walked, her nose to the ground and tail wagging loosely as she scoped out the tall grass alongside the ruined road. She’d taken to the wasteland much faster than Reed had; he wasn’t sure how long she’d been out of cryo before he had been defrosted, but she bounced back from that quickly and seemed completely unaffected by the residual radiation that his prewar body was struggling to get used to. She seemed unaware that they were headed towards their former home, though that wasn’t surprising- they hadn’t even lived there a full month before the bombs dropped so she probably didn’t even remember it. The Red Rocket station north of Lexington finally came into sight, along with what looked like a large ghoulified dog scrounging around in the underbrush near the station. As they got closer, the feral dog turned to look at them, then raised its nose up in the air to sniff.

Relationship- single. Have been for years. I keep trying, but yikes.

Favorite Color- Purple! Almost any shade. Not a huge fan of lilac.

Song Stuck in Your Head- it varies most of the time, but the one that comes to mind most is Heat of the Moment by Asia. 

Favorite Food- Nachos. Let me build them and I’m very happy.

Dream Trip- a whole tour in Europe. I’d love to spend a few weeks in Italy, then swing north into France, the UK, see Germany, and Spain. Say hi to my European friends and see the different cultures. It makes me want to brush up and learn different languages. I announced my Italy trip and then Covid appeared everywhere. I took it as a sign that I wasn’t ready to go there yet. 

Last Thing I Googled- how to remove stain from ceramic pan. I have an issue with my favorite pan.
