oda saying that in a modern au killer would be a chef is so funny to me. like yeah he cooks but it’s in a line cook way where he has an extremely dubious background and smokes like a chimney behind the building, and if someone cops an attitude in the front he says “i’m going on my break” and then vaults over the counter to fight them. what are they gonna do, tell the manager? he’s the owner. his place has two stars on yelp because the food is good but the risk of getting dragged out into the parking lot and stabbed by the staff kind of kills some people’s vibes
