Every time i see Pure Vanilla be symbolized as a sheep i go feral but also i think a livestock guardian dog is a way better parallel

A livestock guardian's job is to protect the flock no matter what, even if it means fending of threats biggeer than itself, risking it's own life for those who are fundamentally different and yet precious nonetheless

Livestock guardians are also often made to look similar to sheep so the flock doesn't get scared, adding a nice twist to the "wolf in sheep's clothing" theme Beast Yeast 7 and 8 got going on. Him and Shadow Milk are two sides of the same coin, one tries to look like its prey to deceive, one tries to look like its companions to soothe

Sheep are often symbols of naivety, purity and helplessness, but PV is anything but. So uh. Livestock guardian PV supremacy.

Take this with a grain of salt but I don’t think Izutsumi necessarily MUST be be viewed as canonically aroace. I do not have a problem with that reading at all, to be clear, but I’ve been mulling this over for a while and with how much self-loathing and neglect informs her character it just doesn’t seem to entirely fair in insist on taking the “I don’t have a type” line at face value.

She’s a traumatized 17-year-old girl who thinks she’s unlovable and has never had the freedom to chose what to do with her life. Of course she doesn’t have a type and longs for a mom to love her unconditionally.

Kuugo's human form is from an AU im writing where he and Shishido are captured as kids and experimented on in a lab by Dr. Garaki and All for One where they are given multiple quirks.

Kuugo is given a shapeshifting quirk and he turns into a young version of his grandfather (mid/late teens) as a way to cope with stress and find moments of peace.

There's... a lot of angst tied to it.

There's a certain kind of anguish when you get a vision for an art piece that's so vivid and clear, but would also take you literal days to complete and very well might not even look the way you want because you aren't experienced with the particular subject you're drawing, and you WANT so badly to bring it into existence, but you are prevented by the overwhelming dread at how difficult it would be.
