#solrock #now *this* is the fucker that the one raid battle NPC had in swsh that everyone hated. including me. he served only to remove lives #fuckin mashing the rock polish button the whole time or whatever it was. doing Nothing Else. i feel like a lot of people who usually did #raids offline had that fucker's name and face memorized. cuz they'd see that they got him and just give up right then and there #at a certain point i feel like offline raids were just not very viable. the NPCs they'd give you to battle with were just so bad #and some of the higher star raids you really needed the extra firepower you just couldn't get from those NPCs #but also they kinda removed a lot of the incentive for joining other people's raids considering your catch chance was lowered by like 9000%#if you weren't the host of the raid. and if you were the host the percentage chance was so high it was basically guaranteed #i don't think i ever ONCE caught a pokémon successfully when i'd joined someone else's raid. and i don't think i ever once failed to catch a #pokémon when i was the host of the raid. it's just. i dunno! i stopped doing raids at a certain point. some people can get a pokémon game #and play it long long after the main story bc they get invested in raids and shit but i just lose interest at a certain point unfortunately #as much as i enjoy the game while i'm initially playing through it #hff. anyway. i'm queueing this up the morning of june 30th‚ aka the day of my first flight in 10 years. so. this won't post until mid july #and i'll have been back for a while by then but for right now‚ me writing these tags‚ i am very Anxious #saur. haha. y'know how it is. have solrock

One of the hardest headcanons I find to conjure up is what L would be doing with his life if he wasn't the world's best detective with a dad who supports his every whim. I first noticed this when people were talking about putting him in a Squid Game AU, and the thought of L trying to kill other people for money was just really weird and unnatural to me? I sincerely don't think he is actually a money-hungry person, but he also was never shown in a financially desperate state of affairs or anything either. 🤔

Definitely interesting to imagine him with totally different circumstances sometimes as a way of fleshing him out in my mind. I think he wouldn't necessarily have been a good student if he was a successor at Wammy's instead of the original L, for example. Because I don't know if he would ever be motivated to do something like try to take over somebody else's role like that... I think he would much rather just do his own thing and really not want to be told what to strive for or how to behave

#also what would an L without a job be like #i always find it kinda fitting when he is just kinda a shameless hedonist or whatever #like in fics where he doesnt really have to worry about money still but isnt a detective and #he's just like going around doing whatever he wants or being a huge fuckboy or addicted to stuff im like yeah seems legit #i could see him also being like a professional gamer or like a streamer who was a dick and had a massive following #that would like raid other peoples streams or wtv hahaha idk why #i think he definitely would want to always be his own boss / self employed if possible #l lawliet #p

New raid dropped and it's kinda peak??? (P2: story (....so far))

so like despite clearing 20-4 I kinda did it on my Nyx who wasn't caught up in the story rather than my main so i kinda didn't get to clear the story quests oops. But i did end up doing the "enter 20-4-1" part of it and one story quest in it's already kinda peak.

It's the perfect encapsulation of an elsword raid party.

We've got aisha complaining about no freeze

we've got ciel with the skissue allegations

we've got add being toxic

we've got the skissue allegationer doing the skissue themself

we've got the instigator

we've got the fatiguer

and last but not least...

#destiny #destiny 2 #okay so #i wanted divinity really bad because i wanted to get more into raiding and helping people with raiding #i couldn’t find even a single person who wanted to sherpa me and my friends through #i watched a 45 minute video #grabbed my friends #and said ‘let’s do this shit’#and it took us like 7 hours but we got it #and that was like me kinda at my peak #pre dredgen 11 #pre being able to sherpa almost every raid in the game #pre being able to sherpa every dungeon in the raid #pre where i am now in the game #like this was my first peak #and today i was doing dual destiny with my best friend and the timer ran out cause i can’t read the clock #after the numbers/icons start to go away #it makes it really hard for me to read it and it messes up my brain and i screw up #and we also got into this about 10 minutes after i woke up #and we ran out of time and we both just left and didn’t do anything else #yeah i got fucking humbled by a clock

I'm FINALLY through with Dressrosa which means I'll be seeing our main man again soon, but now I'm thinking about how long I'm going to be in Whole Cake Island... like it took me a (relatively) long time to get through Dressrosa and Sanji wasn't even there for most of it! With WCI I'm going to be pausing every 5 minutes to get screenshots! Lord help me, I'm going to be stuck there for the rest of my life...

#I've got mixed feelings about wci‚ I can't decide if I'm looking forward to it or not #on the one hand‚ SANJI'S THERE WOOOO MY GUY I MISSED YOU SO MUCH I LOVE YOU #but on the other hand he has such a terrible fucking time there and it genuinely makes me kinda sad seeing my fave like that #when I read the manga I remember blasting through wci as fast as I could cuz I didn't like seeing sanji so fucked up #but anime arcs always take a lot longer to get through...#PLUS I dunno if this is just me but I don't really like his wci outfits at all??#the prince outfit looks kinda ridiculous and I don't think a fully white tuxedo suits him at all #which I'm pretty sure is the whole point of course #people parading around like they're better than everyone else are probably going to dress kinda ridiculous #and him being forced to wear a tux that doesn't suit him fits the whole theme of him not belonging there #so like... ngl I do think my biggest gripe with myths of the realm in a narrative sense is having it be so late in 14’s life means you end up with a lot of unanswered questions that are just a result of how the content wasn’t created until later

#why do we not have the involvement of the gods? bc this is side content + we didn’t do anything with this until now #it puts these very important parts of the world in a weird spot #esp with a plot about deities in a setting that have been around since the start of the game #and ngl for me it’s kind all or nothing when you start doing stuff with deities #I love pillars of eternity because it just dives into the deep end of deities #14 has divinity stuff written all over it w the primals and such #but I just wish we got a bit more nuance and less questions answered #I see mechanically why aglaia suffers and it really is brain off for healers #as someone who brain off heals it #but like. with any content you gotta account for shit going the worst #and I’ve had runs of eurovision and thaleia that go to hell and a hand basket #which is always begs the question in designing content of is it hard or are the runs just shit #or rather is the content hard and/or do you just have shit runs #I do miss the aspect of kinda random fuckery you have to adapt to in ivalice #like the swing of the ewer and the placement of aoes going through the middle of the stage #I’ve learned to love the proximity markers on the tower guy #even as I curse having to scrap people up off the ground #all of the nier raids have some element of having to adapt to mechanics in some fashion #and I would like that sort of stuff more #owen talks #I ain’t discussing this I’m just throwing my opinions out there #endwalker spoilers

tank saying he's going to miss raid tonight, and the group is collectively clenching their cheeks because, while we appreciate our raid lead, she has a tendency to push for raid to happen even if we have to sub in new people or make people play completely different classes/specs/roles. Which means reprogging an entire raid night, which means bad group morale and bad attitudes. She also has a tendency to not consider those things, because if she wants raid everyone should want raid. Gotta prog regardless of anything else!!

I dunno, I feel like myself and the group have reached a mental wall and just want to prog with the same people to be consistent and want a small mental break if someone is out, but I see our raid leads perspective of just getting as many reps to improve... But ALSO, that is just grinding us down even more.

#I kinda wish I'd quit earlier in the tier but then we were at tindral and then we crushed tindral pretty impressively #and then woops we're on the last boss. might as well stick it out #but it is really wearing me down having to be on point for 3 hrs a night 2 nights a week #when I'd really just want to vibe on a tuesday or thursday night #amani chattering #the slog of mythic raiding. i am retiring for sure after this.

chulwoo soulmate au kinda based on xxxholic scene (yes the one where watanuki and doumeki ended up sharing an eyesight in one eye)

soulmates being extremely rare, and hard to find

apparently first eye contact establishes that link, and it starts to slowly grow. Being a soulmate means the most intimate thing you can ever have, because soulmates are connected on otherworldly principles. People assumed soulmates appeared a a phenomenon just like hunters, but they existed right from humanity’s dawn, it’s the most ancient possible connection.

And now add here mana.

Jin-Woo and Jin-Chul making first eye contact at hospital and having a weird, kinda funny feeling. They don’t pay too much attention to it though. And then the more meetings they have, the stronger their connection becomes. It becomes a local joke, that those two can sense each other without even realizing it from kilometers away, and Gun-Hee trusts Jin-Chul to mysteriously always having an idea where hunter Sung can be.

And then their bond reaches the level, where they experience soul mirror for first time - Jin-Chul was peacefully working at his desk when suddenly his right eye started to hurt and next thing he knows his view is doubled. He sees office and worried coworkers but also dark place full of enemies. He feels not fear but worry for someone he technically doesn’t know. And later witnesses state that Jin-Chul’s right eye was glowing luminescent blue whole time.

Jin-Woo experiences it for first time out of blue - he’s suddenly extremely tired and irritated at something that he has no idea about. He feels immense fatigue and beginnings of migraine, and can hear voices, many voices, demanding and asking, loud and quiet. He tasted bitter cold coffee on his tongue for remaining of the day.

Their bond progressively becomes stronger and stronger and with those occurrences it doesn’t take long for them to realize they’re soulmates. They share and share and share, from sight to moods to taste and other small things. Even their mana starts to dance around and slowly mix, coldness of Jin-Woo’s mana easing his headache.

Jin-Woo definitely using all the perks of their new bond to peek at what Jin-Chul is doing and tug at their connection when man is clearly overworking, while Jin-Chul is mostly calm always knowing where Jin-Woo is and if he’s alright.

/also god imagine them sleeping together ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) for the first time and it’s absolutely sensory overload, them absolutely a mess, just grabbing other’s face, foreheads touching, and gently glowing with mana heterochromic eyes meeting in a long stare conveys everything and beyond it./

#solo leveling #woo jin chul #sung jin woo #god they both freaked out so badly first time they became aware there’s smth going on #Jin Chul just seeing supposedly Jin Woo solo raiding and almost having a heart attack #Jin-Woo feeling like he worked 24/7 out of nowhere despite literally doing nothing #Gun-Hee definitely laughs on background asking Jin Chul about Jin Woo’s whereabouts #Jin Chul is annoyed #they accidentally soul mirror when experiencing really strong emotion #Jin Woo was kinda freaked out he couldn’t do it at first fearing he completely lost himself #then he feels Jin Chul being so overworked it becomes dangerous and becomes equally worried and angry only to soul mirror #and see that poor sleep deprived man is dealing with S ranks that wreck havoc again #their first kiss involves mana so it was kinda weird because they can swear they taste other’s mana on their lips now #no complaints tho #them sleeping together for the first time and it’s a beautiful disaster #jin chul just black outs for a second being overstimulated by sheer power of love and desire Jin Woo directed at him #good for him good for him he can finally sleep properly after being wrecked in a good way for first time in his life #jin woo almost choked by sheer variety of such strong feelings towards him he legit was on verge of tears #your honor those bitches are fucking married on universe plane of existence #people around just make bets and try to test more weird stuff on their soulmate bond lmfao
