older beeduo perfectly comfortable in their marriage keeping it a secret at S because its fun. Ranboo's competitivness stirring up that "tactical flirting" theyre too socially anxious to try in their daily life and tubbo having loads of fun showing off his "lawyer with a stick up his ass" worksona while also cursing his husband off at any point in time.

Tommy is shadow, in this dynamic, a little bit different than in og sk8. Ig he's a little closer to adam inn that hes the same age as beeduo and went to school with them but also hes not a pedo with weird codependent relationships. And i love the idea of him having a little flower shop but also dressing in full punk demonic regalia at S. Let him be fucking weird and extra.

if i want to have adam be close to sk8 canon Dream is the obvious choice. Weird obsession with a singular kid and an incessant need to have power over everyone and everything, with a couple of guys who where super friends with him in his youth but ended up dropping him because of the weird controlling behaviour? perfect. I like the idea of tadashi being punz in this situation, even if george would probably fit better but idk.

It works very well actually because - reki and the babygang would be second gen dsmp kids. In particular, reki would be michael, langa would be shroud, and miya would be yogurt (little subplot- wilbur is Oka in this au, fundy is a random guy thats his son and kinda hates that his own child chose the same hobby as his father). Thus we would have dream getting super super obsessed with shroud - not inn a weirdly sexual way like adam for langa, but as a replacement. Tommy's all grown up, hes not fun to play with anymore. What better than tommy's precious son to fill up the role? Especially since it gets tommy so worked up.

This also opens the way to another secret plot, because te kids would have absolutely no idea its their parents in the masks at S. Michael probably finds out when Nuke gets decked in the face by dream's skateboard during the beef, they have to call the ambulance and - oh prime thats my goddamn dads.

So, I've scrapped what you're about to read since I've changed the story, and now it doesn't really make sense, but I decided to post this small snippet for fun, also because it was a writing prompt and I feel like even if it isn't canon to the actual story I'm working on, people will still enjoy it.

Anyway, thank you, @glassautomaton , for the prompt! I am working on a more set in stone story with this prompt (where Iris is more distant from A-9 like suggested), but hopefully, you can enjoy this small setup for now! :]

Iris Thompson, age 25, sat on the bleachers and silently oversaw Alpha-9's morning laps, her face difficult to read as always. She observantly watched as each soldier went by. Their expressions ranged from composed to absolutely winded, but that was expected from newer recruits. She'd give them at least a week to shape up, though Iris wasn't completely sure if that was too much time or too little.

Iris bitterly thought about how she was given just half as much time to adjust when she was a cadet. She was being more than kind.

As much as she tried (Iris wasn't really sure if she cared for trying in these types of situations anymore..) she couldn't really distinguish each of the soldiers running past. It was almost like an annoying clock in her brain, tall, short, tall, short, kinda tall, tall, short, very tall.

Ah, that's who she was looking for.

She got up stupidly quick, alerting some of the Task Force as she did, none of them slowed down in their laps though, good, they'd thoroughly learned not to do that anymore, and to the ones that hadn't been here too long she supposed it was more or less monkey see monkey do. Iris felt her voice in her throat, and then it was echoing across the semi large gym.

"Enough laps! Break into partners of two and spar on the mats that are laid out! Jacqueline, you're with me!"

Iris, silent on her feet, walked to her mat in bold strides. Once she felt the cold, firm material underneath her soles, she stole a glance around the gym.

Various soldiers flocked to their mats with their partner in tow. Some had already put their protective gear on and some were hastily changing into it. Heck, some were even already at it, falling into the mind numbing practice of trying to knock the other down in two or three moves or less. Iris's gaze traveled to another mat and she stared with hidden intrigue.

One figure, slightly taller than the other, anxiously changed into his protective gear as the other expectantly waited for him to join her on the mat. Rainer and Leora, Iris reminded herself. Their anomalies were truly a spectacle and Iris had hastily added them to Alpha-9 four months or so ago, Leora before the other. They seemed to exchange words before Rainer made eye contact with Iris and blanched ever so slightly, though Iris knew he was trying to hide it. She watched as he quickly turned back to Leora, but Iris could still mentally feel his eyes on her, she also felt Jacqueline's eyes on her back. Iris turned around, slightly entertained.

"Hello, Sir.." Jacqueline didn't seem too intrigued to be back on this mat with her, but she hardly cared. Jacqueline was a fine opponent, strong and probably able to throw her clean across the room, a perfect soldier, in theory.. except she was a nurse? She'd told Iris she could do both, and it wasn't that Iris didn't believe her, it was more or less Jacqueline didn't want to do both, even if she acted like it.

Jacqueline stepped onto the mat and immediately put her hands up defensively as Iris threw a kick her way, of which pushed her back a small bit, which was a spectacle in itself.

And that was that, they fell into their usual shtick. Punch, block, kick, block. Iris did not say a word the entire time.
