I'm an alterthing* in my mid-20's who identifies as both therian and otherkind, though I feel them separately. Being otherkind is purely spiritual for me, while being therian is a bit more complicated - I haven't figured it out entirely but I've learned to be okay with not knowing everything.

As of now, my 'types are: 🐻 Black Bear Ambitherian (mainly Cinnamon-American subtype) 🦭 Seal Ambitherian (working out my primaries still) 🦊 Island Fox / Grey Fox Cladotherian 🐺 Coastal Wolf Therian 👁️‍🗨️ Fallen Watcher Kin (Fallen Angel who originally was assigned to oversee earth for whatever reason - I have the feeling I fell much later than the 200 grigori though) 🌲 Lone Pine Mountain Devil / Cryptid Kin (may be the form I chose/liked the most after falling, could be a mix of cryptidkin and microraptorkin, still unsure) Also: 🦌 Cervidae Cambitherian (more often hearted than typed) 🦦 Otter Hearttype (Sea and River species) 🐇 Rabbit Copinglink

For my copinglink and otherhearted identities, posts of them will likely be infrequent compared to the others. Cervidae seems to be a seasonal connection I'm figuring out. I will mainly reblog others posts but will try to chime in with my experiences when I have the mental space.

So, those kintroductions I mentioned! Lately I've been rereading a lot of Stephen King novels. Mostly the Dark Tower series. I already have kins from there, but this time around I was hit over the head by kinfirming, uh, Walter. The Man In Black. I'm rereading The Stand as well, originally to try and confirm or deny this. Since Walter and Randall Flagg are the same being. Definite confirm. That's the name I'll be using for tag purposes, since its the most common one, but I like to shuffle it up between Randall, Walter, and Marten. So! Looks like I'll be here for the next little while. It's certainly been a trip. What other series can make me swing from wanting to play Fallout: New Vegas to wanting to play Sims Medieval in a day?

I keep meaning to post more on here and then the kin roulette wheel keeps spinning and I forget. It's been fun waking up every morning and going over to my collection of Flavored Drinks (I've taken to keeping things like coffee calendars or hot chocolate calendars on hand) cabinet and picking a flavor that feels like "me", but I'm also glad if that stops. Then I can post about specific things, of course.

Surprise though, I'm not dead! I'm doing well. I've missed people on here, hence the ramble. It may be the middle of the night now, but now that it's not January some of my motivation seems to have come back. hi! i’m pony, my kin name is nev. i’m a 17-year-old androgyne and i go by lor/lurr/lordself pronouns (she/her are acceptable for non-native english folk and people who have language disabilities). this blog is primarily going to be made up of things that remind me of home, random pretty things and occasionally my own writing as i continue to learn about nev and their home.

i am pretty new to the otherkin community, although i’ve never once felt human. knowing there are other beings out there that feel the same is the most amazing feeling! (:

nev is a paschat, an alien species of feline humanoids, and while my connection to them is certain, i am unsure as to if they are simply a past life or if we are a starseed. nev is from a rainforest planet from the sirian star system, and i believe they are some kind of scientist or doctor. nev is a saber tooth paschat, but they aren’t of any known earth species of feline; their appearance can be compared to a modern cheetah with light fur, a lion’s mane and saber teeth. they are also smaller than others of their kind, which probably explains their profession since most paschat are warriors.

i’m always up for talking, and i would love to meet other kin! if there are any alienkin out there like me, seriously hmu i would love to meet you~

My 'Kintroduction.

Hello, everyone. My name is Sylvie, otherwise known as mistmoth, though I've gone by many other names across Tumblr. I am an elfkin. My otherkin awakening happened many years ago when I first discovered my discomfort in this human society and in my so very slightly wrong body. I've known for many years I am not entirely human and since then I have searched for my type. I have shoved myself into pigeonholes I was not meant for and tried to change myself to fit my notions of what it is to be kin. Finally, though, after doing some soul searching, I am home again. I realized I was an elf only tonight, December 9th, 2014.

Nothing in my life has ever clicked so much. I feel at peace with this discovery. I am so, so pleased. 

I don't identify with any of the "fandom" types of elves (such as LoTR elves or Dragon Age Dalish). As part of my Celtic-Romany heritage, I have always believed in elves and the fae in general. That is the kind of elf I feel I am. 

This blog has three purposes: to serve as my diary, my collection of 'kin resources, and to help me form (wait for it--) kinctions. Hah.

I'll speak more of myself later; for now, I'm immensely busy with school and such and must attend to that immediately. Please please introduce yourself if you feel so compelled, I hope to hear from many of my new siblings. :)
