hey everyone, i know this past year (2021) has been difficult in general and i know my blog definitely felt the affects of that (months with no posts. i have nothing to say for myself.) but i wanted to say thanks for everyone following me and sticking through this year!!

i started this a few years ago saying thanks to people i met who made a difference in my life on my main blog and i wanted to do it here, just a tiny bit different.

so, first of all - i love you all and if you follow me please know you make me smile so much and i genuinely think of you every day. i’m the nerd who sits down to write fanfic and hopes that 3 specific followers like it because they mention liking a trope in it. so thank you for following me and i hope you all have a safe new year. and i’m so happy you made it through this year, it’s been rough. if you’re reading this i’m glad you’re here.

to the anon who also likes asuna’s first outfit, you have impacted my life so greatly and i’ll truly be thankful for knowing someone else in the fandom can appreciate the masterpiece that is The Vest, i think i gained 40 grey hairs sewing that cosplay but knowing someone else paid attention to the outfit was some nice motivation xD

@kiri-thirsty, you have made THE funniest posts i’ve seen this year and your posts analysing and correcting and adding context to scenes has been so so appreciated, yujikiri shippers and Kirito Enjoyers everywhere are grateful for you and the effort you go to, and you’re also such a great person and i hope the next year is easier.

@justanotherweebgirl, your posts about kayarinko made me ship it xD the dedication and care you show for these characters and for other fans is so kind and you help make this fandom such a positive space. the theories and the lore you build for this series is so fun to read and to think about, and minato is absolutely adorable! hopefully we get to see some more kayaba and rinko next year!

@undinebluestar, i’ve loved getting to talk to you this year and hear your thoughts about yujikiri and hear about your comic - it sounds so interesting and thank you for talking to me about it!! you’re so sweet and i’m glad i can call you my friend. any time i see a dm or an ask from you i smile so thank you so so much for that!

@zodiac-senpai, thank you for thirsting over kirito and his boyfriends with me lmao, your taste is impeccable and i’ll be laughing at kiribooty for the next 40 years. i love our dm’s and laugh every time i read them!!!! i hope this year is good to you and i hope we get lots of cute/soft/drop dead gorgeous/swoon-worthy moments and lots of alternate kirito ships!

@lost-in-yujikiri, last but definitely definitely not least, thank you for all the work you do for yujikiri, thank you for all the sao content you provide us with, thank you for your hard work, it’s so so so so appreciated. where would yujikiri shippers be without you?? you were one of the first sao blogs i followed on here (that was years ago now lmao) and i hope next year is good to you!!

and seriously from the bottom of my heart thank you to every single person who’s ever followed me, liked one of my posts, reblogged a post, added something in the tags, sent an ask, read a fic, left me kudos or comments… seriously. thank you so much. i hope this year is better to us all and i hope to share some sao love (and countless shitposts and ramblings) with you all this year too
