feed me your finest foods / you want to consume love. literally. to cut it up with a knife, then stab it with your fork & eat it & let it gather in your belly. to know what it feels like inside of your mouth. & your grandmother always showed it best - food is love is food is love. this is emotion, but represented in a way you understand. a way that you can relate to &, again, consume. it is temporary, but essential. we eat to live, & then we love, but that part can get confusing. but we eat, we all eat. & you might not be able to say ' i love you ' in words, but if someone brings you a pie, you can cut yourself a slice & swallow it down & tell them that it tastes really good. you can make sure that they also share a slice. you can see them smile & know that they know that you know. that you did it right this time. i hope you know you're worth a love that exists for longer than the time it takes to eat something. you're worth the words, both said & heard.

Whoa. Was that a armored truck fleeing the scene of a crime? What’d they do? Hijack a Yakuza Prison transport or somethin’? Looks serious. Diving off of his fence post relaxation spot like a rebel, rubber soles quickly slam against the concrete as a blur of blue passes the passengers in the back, seemingly not paying attention and gets into the passenger seat of the driver’s cabin so quickly you can’t even differentiate the slamming and opening of the door too the bumps in the road this crazy driver is going over.

Sonic then proceeds to make himself at home in the passenger seat. No need too cause trouble right now. He needs to get a read off uhhh, what’s goin’ on here? Looks like this dude is green, scaly, and dressed like that dude on the news called Stain. His design’s pretty rad though, Sonic’ll give him credit for that. He watches the GTA style driving and simply raises eyebrows and smirks whenever this dude makes a crazy maneuver with his car.

If he’s rambling to himself, then Sonic’ll just wait for him to patiently finish before chiming in with a, “Ya know what I think?” too offer his opinion. If there’s no rambling or talking of any kind, then the Blue hedgehog’ll wait for the Lizard to notice the cargo jacket wearing, techware short sporting, blue teenager in his passenger side whose ears twitch to the sound of the Lizard’s voice, and very passively say, “Hey! What’s up. Sonic Hedgehog. Good to meetcha.”

Sure, they looked like any other student on the surface, but Quinn knew.. More than the average student would about the school and the incident’s that have occurred. And that was no accident, either, it was why they were here in the first place. It wouldn’t be a problem on it’s own, but it was what happened with that information that things would be less than ideal for them and their relations if it was found out about.

Maybe that’s why having an ex-villain on campus made them uneasy. 

Their parents had stopped helping the league after the training camp incident, and personal meetings were hardly ever the Graves’ style, so.. They hoped that there wasn’t any recognition, at least not for that, (maybe it was because of their friend group?) but the fact that he was less than subtly staring at them from across the way didn’t have them keeping their hopes up.

Ignoring it wasn’t helping, either. The only way their paranoia was going to be eased if they got a straight answer out of him, and the best way to do that was..

Coming over and saying something. “You uh.. Need something, dude?”

                                 "—–yes." there is no hesitation in his answer, though shoulders are tense as he meets shuichi's gaze. he swallows thickly before he continues, hands balling into fists at his sides. "yes, i have been lying to you since the moment we've met, but there are some things ---" words catch in his throat, tearing his gaze away from him. taiyō had always prided himself in being honest with those who mattered ---- and over time, shuichi had become someone who mattered.

                                 but taiyō had a mission and he couldn't allow his feelings to get in the way, and yet . . . and yet, he stands here, no longer sure of himself and his mission. hand rises to his chest to clutch the front of his shirt, jaw clenching. he had never been in love before --- had told himself he wouldn't allow it to happen, but he had been weak and had fallen for shuichi. even weak, he had never been happier than when he was in shuichi's presence.

                                 "i lied about my purpose here, and at first i lied about how i felt about you. but i--- i'm not sure when that stopped being a lie and became the truth. i know it may not be a comfort now, in this situation, but know that out of everything i have told you. . . me loving you is not a lie." his hold loosens around his shirt, hand falling back to his side. "shuichi--- i beg you, please walk away. don't make this any harder than it has to be. i don't want to fight you."

   Not for the first time in her life, Finis is very, very lost. 

   She can’t quite remember the last time her surroundings were familiar, but she does know it was something like eons ago. Then again, surroundings were hardly ever familiar. It isn’t her fault that the roads and the world change so often! One day they go this way, and the next, that, and how is she meant to keep up with it all, amidst her studies! 

   Today, though, she has a bad feeling about wherever she’s ended up. The streets are gaunt, dark, highlighted strangely in the light. Something in her teeth hurts. She clutches her books to her chest tighter. 

   It’s okay... she’s overreacting. It’s okay... 

   In the distance, there’s a figure... hunched over, back turned to her, and she lights up, rushes towards them. Their shadow stretches long before her. 

   “Hello! Excuse me! I’m lost... can you help?”

Brows furrow upon hearing spinner's words , clearly not pleased as this cycle starts once again . They would argue , make jabs and get frustrated before pulling away from the situation entirely , they honestly just wished that the man would stop trying to do anything with them " I will continue to do so regardless if you want me to or not , if you want me to stop then you will have to make me ."

@knifelizard​ hit the heart for somethin’ random. and that means gost gets to hang with spinner.

he tries, in all honesty, to be somewhat sneaky about it. the nomu waits, always, until most of them are asleep or holed up in their own rooms for the night. the fridge doesn’t always have something interesting in it   ---   but today toga and twice had gotten their hands on a lot of cupcakes for some reason and gost was hoping that   (now that everbody had their fill)    he would be able to get his hands on one.  going through floors is easy enough to get to where he needs to be. and he’s close to grabbing one and hiding away with it but. he realizes, suddenly   ---   that he’s not alone. there’s a surprised peep and he jumps suddenly enough to bump his head on his way out of the fridge. it’s comical, really. this nomu, created to sneak and kill   ---  suddenly fumbling wildly to hold his head and slam the door shut at the same time. a few magnets end up on the floor and he’s torn between picking them up and just dropping through the floor to disappear forever.

“s   ---   sorry.” he sounds close to tears, wings drooping.
