? @finniestoncrane is one of the more prolific providers of some of the dirtiest, toe-curling, mouth watering smutty oneshots and drabbles for the riddler. They write for other characters but mostly him! >:D My particularly favorite piece by them is Appointment

? @capr1pengu1n has several pieces that I greatly enjoy! I am quite biased but their piece Corrupting the young with your uncivil tongue is my favorite. It was a request I made of them :3 also Twist the knife, like it's something to do is a gem!

? @decaying-words has a small, but delicious and, actually, sweet collection of works called Love Letters to the Riddler. They have not posted since earlier this year, and I hope to see more from them soon!

he thinks that it would be a sign that youre stupid even though he gets flustered himself

the further you get into your relationship the less intense he will be when you get flustered

he has been flustered and he has also been downright humiliated, he knows how it feels so its something he has to keep in mind now

he also probably takes it as a sign that youre less intelligent than him

he may be nicer about it down the line? again he would totally be the type to exploit this side of you

I ALREADY HAD A WESPENDLE ONE PREPARED GOOD LORD I KNEW

They make me mental. I weep due to them. They bring joy but also pain. I need them to reconnect in some way after Pendle gets normaled. They are narrative foils and thematic opposites and their development is intertwined. And good god chapter 26 got me emotional

The tropes are fun on this one.. well before the Incident.

Red and blue. Noble and someone who never got the privilege to be royalty. Working analytically and working physically. Having a distinctive set of rules for living and not caring about it at all if he gets to work, martyrdom and heroicism, fear of corpses and indifference..

I don't know how to feel about onapendle after. That. So there isn't any big opinion about it but wesona on the other hand

Small discussion but

Chapter 27 is such a good reason for that. Have you SEEN their shared scenes. They both have tons of guilt towards something that was out of their reach, something they couldn't even find out about until it got bad, and Wes Saved Her Goddamn Life.

They both got connected due to Pendle being possessed all along. And good lord the writing when it comes to that is so good. They help each other through the worst.

As a three? It's fun. But tragic. They all are connected due to chapter 26, but also earlier shenanigans with the "Ona thinks Wes is a creep but Pendle tries to reassure her he's harmless" thing

AND THEN . The original. I love them so much good lord.

The devotion. The whole prince/knight thing. The unending homoeroticism. The ace/aro solidarity.

They are so. Good together. They are so codependent. They are childhood friends who reunited again.

Muschio changed his entire standpoint due to an encounter with Ridder.

Knight blades makes it so sweet for no reason. I could go on and on about them just like you though!

Morghul

Morghul was a young dragon bound to but never ridden by Princess Jaehaera Targaryen.

Morgul stayed in the Dragonpit alongside Dreamfyre, Tyraxes, Shrykos, and Seasmoke (before he fled the city with his ridder, Ser Addam Velaryon) during Rhaenyra's half-year reign over the capital. Overtime Rhaenyra's relations with the citizens of the city deteriorated to the point of riots. In one of these riots a one-handed prophet called the Shepherd began to rant against the dragons and convinced the mob of Kingslanders to go to the Dragonpit and kill them all. Despite being shackled by heavy chains, Morghul slew scores of people with its fire. A huge man in heavy armor remember as the "Burning Knight" is credited for killing of Morghul. It is said he thrusted his spear through Morghul's eye as the dragon bathed him with fire. Morghul died never have been ridden.

My opinion

I wish we knew what color Morghul was and I wish we got to see Jaehaera ride her but alas Morghul was to small.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BATMAN ROGUES AND THE JOKER.

Let's get down to business. I mean yes! I can talk about how long it took me to hunt down comics, but I rather skip all of that. It's not really irrelevant, although can I just say I adore this relationship. I might sound a little insane right now, but their relationship is just full of so many things at once. i can't even break it down right now, especially now. however this is going to focus on Batman and his other rogues unfortunately. I just want to announce and of course elaborate that I don't dislike any ships I'm about to mention. It's just to demonstrate the difference, in addition to that i do believe that mostly all of Batman villains has a level of like for the dark Knight. Maybe not romantically I suppose, but even perhaps so. Now sadly i can't post every villain on one freaking post, but I only can do one at a time. * Cries * nah, I'm just joking, but we are going to get a lovely display of both of their relationships. I will of course start off with theses panels.

He leaves Riddler to die more than once?

Riddler desires a sort of relationship with the Batman, but he yearns it to align with Batman and Joker relationship, and that will never ever happen. I honestly can't ship Riddler and Batman. Batman treats riddler horribly and he's very hostile towards him the majority of the time, which makes the ship unlikable for me, however I don't have any issue with anyone who ships Batman with the Riddler. They're not terrible. In the meantime let's chat about theses panels. Batman leaves the Riddler tied up in a warehouse in a chair? Now don't get me wrong, he does leave a knife near him, but he shows absolute no remorse or any kind of concern for him. He even goes on to say 'partner' sarcastically. Batman has repeatedly demanded The riddler to not call him partner or friend, while the Joker has repeatedly called Batman friend and partner. This is just one example.

Batman has never said don't call me partner to the Joker. He said don't call me bats, but partner? I haven't seen it yet, and let's not jump over the fact when you scroll up a little, Batman helps a tied up Joker. He helps a helplessly Joker. He goes down to see if a bloody half dead Joker is alive, and there's concern present. Not the ' are you okay ' Not the simple Riddler ' where's the sadness at Bruce? By the way this isn't Edward. He just thought it was at first.

Batman doesn't enjoy The Ridder like the Joker? You know someone ask me this before, and I honestly didn't even really desire to give them an answer. I didn't want to ruin their ship, but no he does not in fact enjoy his time with The riddler like he does with The Joker. How i can prove that? It's easy.

Batman is really over here saying. You missed me Joker? Bruce how gayer can you get. Haha! Now Riddler is practically begging for the dark Knight attention over here. I mean Batman doesn't even want to look at him, or acknowledge him. He just wishes this to be over with as soon as possible in this panel. Here's another example.

Anything except him. God the way Bruce constantly yearns to disappear away from the Riddler, while he's here with the Joker smiling.

Batman doesn't deny his dance with the Joker. He acknowledges it all the times, and even goes as far as to say I'm not in the mood. He doesn't tell the Joker to hire someone else to dance with, but he always dances with the Joker. Even if you say that Batman thought Riddler was going to die that night, but even Bruce wasn't an hundred percent sure if he would survive the bullet to his heart. The Riddler did wound up making it after all, so Batman was wrong about his calculations in the issue Batman #25 Jokes and riddles. When the Joker was dying on the Batman who laughs what did Batman do? He bought him back to life. He claimed he did it so the Joker could help him defect the Batman who laughs, but his own words demonstrated that that was not the reason. He told the Joker in these exact words 'you'll be safe here' This is why he bought him back because he didn't want him to live without his greatest foe. The Batman has let three people meet their demise to get to the Joker. It's not me trying make Batman into this heartless person, but this isn't the only incident that Batman has done this. What you all don't understand is that Batman doesn't have excuse for the Joker. He make a excuses. He like the Joker being alive. He goes out of his way to save him, and let's be honest the Joker was stabbed in the heart there was a huge chance the Joker wasn't going to make it in Batman cacophony #3, but he still let the killer go, and go saves the Joker. The point of this is to prove that Batman goes out his way to save the Joker, and go out his way to dance with him. Here's a reminder of that relationship.

This isn't finish yet. We need more proof right? I'm going to be talking about Batman confidential #27 and #28 which riddler makes appearance in.

WASHINGTON -- Saddam Hussein, of course, drew the ace of spades. The U.S. Central Command has introduced a new way for troops to pass the time: a pack of playing cards depicting the ousted Iraqi dictator and 51 of his key henchmen. Saddam's elder son, Odai, is the ace of hearts in the deck, which has a desert camouflage design on the back of the cards. Odai has been accused of serial rapes and murders of young women. Saddam's younger son, Qusai, is the ace of clubs. Brig. Gen. Vincent Brooks publicly introduced the cards Friday at a news briefing in Qatar. "This deck of cards is one example of what we provide to soldiers out in the field, with the faces of the individuals and what their role is," he said. Officials said the cards, which also include several jokers without faces, had a purpose besides helping to kill boredom. They're a military version of the FBI's Ten Most Wanted. As they get passed around, they might help a soldier or Marine catch one of the figures. At the Pentagon, an official said that only a couple of hundred decks had been sent to the combat zone, but that more could be dealt out in a jiffy. The cards were made up by wags at the Defense Intelligence Agency, which is on the hunt for the depicted characters. The Pentagon has not copyrighted the cards, which means that anyone could produce them, a defense official said. Beyond Saddam and his sons, only a few of the faces or names would likely be familiar to a soldier. One, perhaps, is Tariq Aziz, the longtime foreign minister, who for some reason is the lowly eight of spades. Nowhere to be found is Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, the former Iraqi information minister whose daily briefings--in which he denied the all-too-obvious advances of American troops had made him the object of comedy spoofs. fun fact that I wanted to post earlier but the joke doesn't work in English - in Dutch the saying "knight in shining armour" is "de prins op het witte paard" - the prince on the white horse. (though sometimes people use ridder/knight too)

Robert as Aaron's prince (or knight) on the white horse, accidentally trampling craig to death (and not noticing because he's only got eyes for Aaron)

With the divequest update confirming that Wes Fumo is in fact a gay man, and a suggestor already mentioning every male cast member, I've come to make this ramble..

As you can see, uh.

From the cast of guys :

- Barbakus is already dating Tislomer

- Dompag has his own thing with women, mainly Finesse and Ona, somehow. And I don't see him with guys at all

- Muschio is heavily implied to not feel any feelings relating to romantic love throughout the story

Which.. actually just leaves the only choice to be.. ahem..

For them to be endgame if weaver is nice enough (talking about actual Pendle here)

You might say "but Pendle is interested in women!!!!"

Which is true , although his interests are more sexually oriented than romantically.

Okay, but an assumption is never to be made without reasoning.

My main reasoning is the fact that they already have been narrative foils of Muschio Malto and Sir Ridder.

And I already have a list of those examples!

- Muschio and Ridder were childhood friends, Wes and Pendle were passing acquaintances, as mentioned by Pendle in chapter 23

- They both are red/blue coded in a dynamic sense, but:

- Muschio(the 'red') is sexually interested in women, while Wes (also the 'red') isn't at all interested in women since he's gay, obviously.

- To that, Ridder (the 'blue') isn't really interested in romance due to his strict rules about it, and his only thing with Sticks was done due to the fact that he didn't want to have sex before marriage and they had and. Yeah. But he was also mainly paired with men (Muschio and Terva especially) by suggestors and had some hints too! Meanwhile Pendle (the 'blue' too) is sexually interested in women as I mentioned

- OPPOSITES WHEN IT COMES TO WHAT THEY DO

Muschio is an exiled prince, Ridder is a knight. Pendle is a scholar and a wartime tactician, and Wes is a blacksmith

- Muschio and Pendle turned out to be the 'evil' in their respective stories.

But with Muschio and Ridder it went very well, actually.

And. You know what happened with Wes and possessed Pendle!!

I am debating on getting one more point I'd just need a revamp on Ridder's whole thing again but I know that both Muschio and Pendle were nobles who got more accustomed to a royal life

And since Muschio and Ridder were just very good friends even though they had SO. MANY. QUEERCODED. INTERACTIONS... maybe this part will be the opposite too as we didn't really see a lot of Wes and Pendle scenes and none of them had the same amount of homoroeroticism

Anyways to end this

WesPendle becoming canon would be so unexpected but I believe in them
