Anyway here’s the real description:

Vash wished he could call it a subconscious decision or something that just happened in the heat of the moment but It wasn’t. It had been lingering like a phantom in his mind for all the years that he’d been in love with him. His alpha, his mate, Nico.

Just thinking about how upset Wolfwood might be…He wanted to undo it all, but he didn’t. Wolfwood had unknowingly convinced him. With his jovial smile as he played with the kids of Hopeland Orphanage...By how he smiled at the picture of him and Livio as kids.

It was a shame Wolfwood never saw the outcome of it all. The outcome of their love.

Vash and Knives evoking the image of two stars rising high in the sky during their battle reminds me again of how the ending of trigun uses the constellation Gemini for Knives and Vash. After his brother's death Pollux asked Zeus to let him share his own immortality with his twin to keep them together, and they were transformed into the constellation Gemini. They were worshipped as deities who succoured shipwrecked sailors and received sacrifices for favourable winds. I think Nai and Vash will share a similar fate where their death will help humanity. Last episode made it very clear that Vash and Knives were one entity split in two by giving each of them only one wing in opposite colors (black-white).
