7, 12, 16, 18!
Thanks for the questions ! I picked Vulon, Vyrthaal, Jo'safiir, and Sethsa for these :3 I managed to Not ramble way too much thankfully lmao ;w;
☆ Skyrim Asks HERE ☆
7) What non-combat skill do they excel at?
Vulon: Vulon is Very good at sneakin' around, and is really good at talking its way through things so its Speech Skill is very high as well :> Its also really good with restoration magic, which tends to surprise people! As for non-gameplay stuff it's really good at cooking and mending clothes (and when it dies it spends a lot of time studying various art forms and such).
Vyrthaal: Vyrthaal is also pretty sneaky but he excels the most in blacksmithing and enchanting (and while Vyr usually uses archery for combat he's also just Really Fucking Good At It and can do fancy tricks and is a good hunter bc of it + he's good at Being Sneaky). He's decent at alchemy thanks to Kili teaching him, and very skilled at restoration magic (though he also uses the sun-based restoration spells in combat). Non-gameplay he is Also very good at cooking! He's also good at Embroidery and making clothes :3
Jo'safiir: Jo'safiir is the sort to argue that all schools of magicka can be used perfectly well outside of combat Including destruction so I'm gonna say. That lmao. Non game play things: cooking AND baking (Vyr and Vulon are both 2 impatient to bake well) as well as knitting and crochet!
Sethsa: Stealth, speech, lockpicking, and illusion are my girl's best skills!! She's also very good at baking (all my ocs are good at some kind of food making/preparation can u tell lmao) and an excellent story teller!
12) Who are they closest to?
Vulon: Lord Boethiah, Serana, and Sissel. It is also close to the Dawnguard in that it fought alongside them and considers them all its siblings-in-arms and trusts them with its life in combat.
Vyrthaal: Kili, Serana, and of course his moms and their Stronghold, as well as Kili's hive!
Jo'aafiir: Ko'jiirah, Miraak, Boltu, and his entire family (though all except for Ra'sava live in Elsewyr). He also grows pretty close to his mortal biological father, Jo'iq, after a while.
Sethsa: Deathcry, Rune, Chal, Boltu, Karliah, and Brynjolf are her closest loved ones, but she cares deeply for the rest of the Guild as well! She's just not *close* to them, u kno?
16) Did they feel sympathy for any villains they came into contact with? If so, who and why?
Vulon: It did for Miraak. It saw itself in him just As it knew Miraak saw himself in it. Vulon wished it could have worked with Miraak more instead of both of them "knowing" they were fated to kill each other. It knows Miraak, for all his pride and boasting, is just as traumatized and fucked up as it is just in different ways.
Vyrthaal: Also Miraak, because he can't stand the thought of anyone forced to serve any being, Daedric or otherwise, against their will.
Jo'safiir: I don't think any, really. Like yes he's married to and loves Miraak but when he was a Villain(tm) Jo"safiir didn't feel bad for him. Miraak made his deals with Mora, sucks that he's trapped in Apocrypha, but ultimately he opened that can of worms so he should lie in it. He doesn't complain when Ko'jiirah yoinks him out tho!
Sethsa: Sethsa Also doesn't really feel bad for any villains she encounters!
18) What's their favorite armor?
Vulon: The Ebony Mail :}
Vyrthaal: The Ancient Falmer armor though he always cherishes the first set of armor he made with Marzog's help !! Unfortunately he Does grow out of it :')
Jo'aafiir: He isn't really an armor guy, he always wears mage robes! He favors the Arch Mage robes but that's bc they're sort of his "uniform," though in part bc it helps him feel closer to Savos after his death.
Sethsa: Already answered, but the Nightingale armor !
Thanks for the questions !! These r really fun hehehe :}

🌧️🌈
Hiiii thank you fr theasl!!! I'm gonna answer for Vulon Vyrthaal and Jo'safiir :3
Ask meme ☆ HERE ☆
🌧️ What is the favorite thing for you OC to do on a rainy day?
Vulon: Vulon would prefer to stay inside, maybe read or do some journaling. It'll probably make itself a strong pot of tea and a hearty and flavorful meal as it relaxes.
Vyrthaal: Depending on where he's at, Vyr would want to run around jn the rain for a bit! Unless he's traveling, in which case he'd bundle up against the rain in a weatherproof cloak and keep going until the weather is too bad Or he finds an inn or smthn.
Jo'safiir: He hates rain he does Not like being soggy. Has a waterproof traveling cloak and boots for this so if he Must he Can be outside in the rain. When it snows hard in Winterhold he doesn't do much different as he rarely has outside classes, so the weather in Skyrim doesn't affect him too much as long as he's not out traveling.
🌈 Does your OC speak more than one language? If so, how many and which?
Vulon: Aldmeris is it s first language, it can probably speak and read and understand Dunmeris pretty fluently, and understands, speaks, and reads n writes Dovahzul and common Tamrielic fluently also. It can read Daedric script and a little bit of ancient Falmeri script. Also probably it can communicate very basic things and finger spell in a few sign languages.
Vyrthaal: Ancient Falmeri is his mother tongue and the one he's fully fluent in alongside ancient Falmeri sogn language. They can speak and read common tamrielic but sometimes struggles. He understands the modern Falmeri language well when spoken but can't read their script (braille like) very well, and speaking it is very difficult for non-native speakers in my headcanon. Idk what other languages Marzog would teach him beyond tamrielic but she's a historian so I feel like he'd learn ancient languages w her for fun. Serana would probably teach him some ancient Nordic I think, probably .
Jo'safiir : Ta'agra is his mother tongue but he tries very hard to learn as many languages as he can, to at least have basic conversations with as many folks as he can. He speaks, understands, reads, and writes Nordic and common tamrielic well, and has a fairly decent grasp on reading and understanding Dovahzul, aided by Miraak (and maybe Ko'jiirah but like she probably tells him like "this says Giant Massive Penis" and he's like "OK. Fuck you (affectionate)".

35 and 39 for that dusty old cat (jo'saffir)
Dusty old cat LMAO. He's covered in dust from his books <- smthn Ko'jiirah has Definitely said about him before
☆ Ask Meme! ☆
35) How easily does your oc get attached to things? Does everything have a sentimental value to them, or do they see nothing as more valuable than its practical use? What about with people/animals?
He's definitely not the most sentimental guy out of all my OCs; gifts given to him are about the only thing that he really gets Attached to, while many of my other funky guys can pick up a clump of dirt off the road and feel Attached to it bc they got it on an Important Journey or smthn. But while he prefers things that are practical there are many small things that he's kept over the years that r Meaningful to him uwu As for people and animals, Jo-safiir tries to Not get attached, especially later in life after he's discovered he's a Demiprince. He doesn't want to risk accidentally hurting anyone, or getting attached only to watch them die. With Ko'jiirah it's Different because he knows she'll go to the Shivering Isles in death. Same with Boltu, a Nightingale, and Jo'safiir makes sure to stay on good terms with Nocturnal so she'll allow him to see his husband when he's dead. And he claimed Miraak's Soul himself, so that's not an issue at all. But beyond those 3, he tries Very hard to not get attached too much to people :(
39) How superstitious your oc? Do they end up following them ‘just in case’? Or are superstitions incredibly important to your oc? What are some that they believe? What about the ones they don’t?
I think he would be very superstitious actually!! Idk off hand what Khajiiti superstitions there are but I imagine he follows them closely. I tried searching Khajiiti superstitions and couldn't find anything without risk of falling down Weird Rabbit Holes so I will likely come back 2 this later with a more in-depth response :(

how do u think vulon would like the rest of your oc gang? do they interact much over the course of the story, or are their narratives relatively separate?
Their narratives are separate BUT FUN FACT, the very very first version of Vulon was in mine and Toby's "main" timeline, with Ko'jiirah as the Last Dragonborn! Mora named it His Champion and sent it to kill Miraak as it's first act as Champion and it was a whole big Thing for Jo'safiir and Boltu, but we scratched the idea bc it was genuinely so sad and fucked up
Now it's got its own little timeline!! It does share it with the Serpent though!! It's high key fucking their mortal parent As Well As Lord Boethiah, but more importantly it serves as a sort of protector for Vyr, bc it actually has experience taking care of people unlike Craig, who isn't quite a deadbeat but like also doesn't know how kids and teenagers work???? He tries his best though!! Vyr loves him as much as they love Lord Boethiah (tho they would NEVER admit it they're EDGY and COOL and DON'T CARE ABOUT PEOPLE no really stop laughing!!!!!!!!).
Vulon absolutely adores the Serpent n thinks they're fun tho, and when it finds out they killed Ulfric it asks for All The Details and definitely writes a whole epic song about it for them. As for my other OCs I think Vulon itself would like them but idk how much they'd like Vulon. Like, OG Vyrthaal would definitely be super wary of it bc it just gives off sketchy evil wizard vibes, but Vulon would be like "oh sick, someone who can actually weild Auri-El's Bow! When Serana and I tried it we both got 3rd degree burns :D Hey, does it smell like ash yams?" I think it would be super chill w Sethsa, They'd probably actually work really well together. Jo'safiir would...still probably dislike new Vulon, BUT they'd have a mutual hatred for the Thalmor due to Trauma so they'd probably be chill after a While. I dont think any of my other OCs would feel much more than "You're kinda weird" n not get much further than that tbh.

These are for Vyrthaal and Vulon from the ‘30 questions for your Dragonborn’ ask game thingie
Also I have no clue which of these are actually dragonborn? So sorry if I ask a dragonborn specific question if it doesn’t apply(I did my best to guess lol)
For Vrythaal(also what are their pronouns, and are there multiple of them?):
1, 6, 11, 10, 18, 19, 22, 26, 31
For Vulon:
1, 4, 5, 10, 14, 18, 21, 24, 27, 28, 30, 31
For Jo’saffir:
1, 9, 13, 17, 19, 21, 22, 26, 31
Sorry, I know that’s a lot of questions lol, but your ocs are really interesting and your brain is on the next level
i would also like to hear about the Vyrthaals because that has me so confused and curious at the same time
Thank you so much!
Vyrthaal uses he/him primarily, but he also likes they/them :3 Really just depends on his mood. Vyrthaal and Vulon are my my Dragonborn OCs BUT my fiance and I have a universe where All our OCs are together, with one of his (Ko'jiirah) is the Last Dragonborn n everyone else has their own roles and stories! Jo'safiir originated as a Dragonborn but as I developed him he's become a Demiprince of Hermaeus Mora! Ko'jiirah is his absolute BEST friend that he met in Helgen, and he journeys with her through all of Skyrim's main questline (barring the part where you go to Sovengard. Toby and I have joked that he would have been allowed but the College was having finals week and he was helping his students prepare XD). Now for the responses!! Thank you for sending so many questions and I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get them done :')
Now for the questions!! This got SO long omg I'm sorry :'D
Vyrthaal:
1. What is their background and backstory, summarised into a paragraph?
Tbis is the longest summary EVER but Vyrthaal is my beloved baby boy whom i love;;;;
He is a snow elf, born into nobility shortly before the Atmorans began invading Skyrim. When they began attacking his home city (he was around 11/12) his parents knew they wouldn't survive and brought Vyrthaal deep underground their home, to a bunker they created to try and protect him. There they sealed him away and he managed to be preserved for thousands of years, until an aspiring linguist trying to learn the ancient Falmeri language uncovered the bare remains of his home, and in turn, Vyrthaal. She awoke him and, after great difficulty, calmed him down and convinced him to come with her to her Stronghold--a nomadic group of Orcs that forged their own family and were roaming Skyrim at the time. There her and her family took him in, learned what happened, and offered him a home with them. Helping him recover and build up his strength. After two years (so at 13/14 technically) he had grown into a strong blacksmith and incredible archer. He already had an aptitude for magic and learned as much as he could with his Stronghold, though none of them were mages so he relied on their Wise Woman to teach him what she knew. At some point in their travels he meets Kili, a young Falmer a year older than him. He's shaken to actually see what had become of his people, but he sees that despite the torture the Dwemer put them through, they are still strong and thriving just in a new way. Him and Kili become incredibly close friends and occasionally travel together. It's during these travels that he begins the Dawnguard Questline, and since this is SO long already I'm going to skip to roughly the end. Facing off against Vyrthur he's killed, but Auri-El gives Vyrthaal his Blessing, breathing life and Sunfire into him and making him Dragonborn. OH my god that took forever--but I'm writing a fanfic about him and his life, it's on Ao3, my username is StarsDotTXT and it's the only thing I've got up on it XD I have one chapter posted and so many other in bits written out of order :')
6. How are they perceived by the major villains- Alduin, Harkon, Miraak, etc.?
Harkon: Originally not a threat at all. A mere child, though curious as he was an Ancient Falmer. Harkon really did want to convince Vyrthaal to join the Volkihar clan, but he could tell from the start that would NEVER happen. He underestimates Vyrthaal though, not thinking anything of him, until he returns later blessed by Auri-El and weilding his bow, realizing just how much of a threat he is now but Also knowing that if he doesn't kill this kid, it'll be him that dies.
Miraak: This one is....Oof. Miraak also underestimates him bc hes a child (around 15 or so when they meet), but pities him for that as well. Still, he has a goal and he won't be stopped. But jokes on Miraak, Vyrthaal is a metaphorical ray of sunshine just as much as he is a magickal one, and with the Power Of Love Vyr frees his stinky ass from Mora's grasp and drags him back to Nirn. There he reluctantly become allies with Vyrthaal (and Serana!) and appoints himself Vyr's Dovahkiin Mentor. He ends up loving this boy so much and becomes his UncleDad uwu
Alduin: Fuckin' hates this kid. Partially because at this point Vyr is so exhausted and traumatized and burnt out he isn't afraid anymore. But also because, despite that, Vyrthaal is determined. He has a home, he has a family, he has lives he'd do ANYTHING protect. Even if it means going to the place most hostile and dangerous and awful for him, all on his own, to fight a World Eater. But he'd do it a thousand times again to defend his family.
Ulfric Stormcloak: Doesn't matter Vyrthaal killed him uwu
11. If they had a pet or magical familiar as in ESO (excluding the dogs in Skyrim) what creature would it be?
A chaurus!! For a while I Did give him a chaurus but idk how well it would be able to travel with him :( But like. Vyrthaal Deserves A Chaurus.
10. Which factions are they aligned with? Including civil war sides, Thalmor, guilds etc.
Just the Dawnguard, though he's also orc blood kin.
18. Your Dragonborn is now an actual dragon- what do they look like? Do they possess any unique features or abilities?
He would look like living ice, glowing with sunfire from within :3
19. Which NPC have they killed and regretted it?
VYRTHUR;;;;;;;; It haunts him for the rest of his life. Gelebor tells him there was no other way, nothing he could have done, but he'll never forgive himself for killing him.
22. Which Daedric Prince(s) do they end up most aligned to, if any? Which artifacts do they own and which do they actively make use of?
He worships Malacath and is His Champion! He wields Volendrung but because he's more skilled at archery than he is at close combat he doesn't use it as often as Auri-El's Bow.
It was also the only weapon he brought with him to Apocrypha when he faced off against Miraak besides his own magicka :3
26. Which follower(s) would they never go anywhere without? On a personal level, what is their relationship with the follower(s) in question like and why do they stick with them?
Serana!!!! That's his BEST friend and adopted sister. They feel safer together too after the events of the Dawnguard Questline. The pair of them also get real good at fighting together, covering each other's weaknesses and boosting their strong points.
31. VERY IMPORTANT BONUS QUESTION: In their opinion, who is the best dog in all Skyrim?
I answered this one in the last ask I got, but the Dawnguard pubbies!!! He doesn't know how to care for animals tho, but he loves to feed them when he's staying at the Fort for an extended time uwu
Vulon:
1. What is their background and backstory, summarised into a paragraph?
Vulon is my self insert! It's history is now a Secret, Kept by Hermaeus Mora. But it's also just me but in Skyrim, so!! It grew up with abusive parents that had very high standards for it, basically outlined its whole life before it was even born. And Vulon hated every second of it. They refused to acknowledge who it was, what it liked, what it felt. And one day, after a particularly bad fight with them, Vulon left. It attacked its parents, severely wounding them, and fled. Along it's travels it caught the gaze of Hermaeus Mora. It was a knowledge-hungry fledgling Mage with a deep secret that tortured it, of COURSE Mora wanted it. And Vulon wanted Mora. It offered Him its past: every secret that it kept about itself, every piece of knowledge about who it was forced to be, in exchange for Devotion. And Mora, for a moment feeling something close to kindness, took its secrets and locked them away where no one would ever find them, because He would never give them up. And Vulon kept its oath, becoming one of Mora's most devoted Seekers. Sharing its findings with Mora, developing new spells and spellcasting techniques, filling tomes with its discoveries that had happy homes in Apocrypha. With Vulon's Devotion and Love, Mora knew He found a new Champion. But He also knew that Vulon carried within it the Soul of a Dragon, just like His current Champion. He knew the two would meet, and when they did Vulon's journey as the Last Dragonborn would begin uwu
4. At present, how are they perceived by the people of Skyrim? By the general population, and by different factions?
Despite being the LDB, Vulon isn't actually very well known as such. It's creepy and off-putting, and looking at it for too long gives most people headaches. Most people don't trust it because of this. Jarl Balgruuf does, because it's never actually harmed anyone (as far as he knows) and actually does a good job of slaying Dragons and protecting Whiterun. He doesn't like it exactly, and warns his children to stay away from him (citing his open Daedra worship as the reason), but he also trusts it to not go on a killing spree or anything. Let's see... It's probably wanted by the Thalmor for the whole murdering it's parents and fleeing from the Dominion thing. And snowballing off of that the Enpire probably doesn't want him unless it's behind bars. It outright murders Ulfric though, so they're not fond of him either. It gets on well with the Thieves Guild once Mercer's gone though! It isn't a part of it but it Does steal here and there. It's a member of the Dark Brotherhood but I don't know if it's Listener, only bc there's enough going on with it as it is. BUT Cicero is one of its best friends!!! So there's that :3 It does do the Dawnguard Questline bc its my FAVORITE and ofc sides with the Dawnguard. Isran actually quite likes it, which surprises everyone. But Vulon is a damn good vampire hunter and hates the Volkihar clan--namely Harkon. It immediately realizes that he's just as foul and abusive towards Serana as it's own parents were, just in other ways. And it's incredibly protective of Serana in the face of her parents. It knows she can defend herself but also knows how terrifying going against your own parents can be.
That's just about its only notable relations to any factions tho!!
5. How were they perceived before their Dragonborn identity became widely known?
Uhhhh. Poorly!! Again, it's incredibly off-putting at best. At worst it's horrifying! Lots of people thought (somewhat correctly) that it was a murderer, or thief. It's also just.....awkward when it isn't being needlessly spooky, and is just straight up Weird sometimes. So even Without all the non-mortal fuckery about it, it still wouldn't be very popular I think :3
10. Which factions are they aligned with? Including civil war sides, Thalmor, guilds etc.
Dawnguard and the Dark Brotherhood! Again, it's not a part of the Thieves Guild, but it's on good terms with the Guild in general, is welcome in the cistern, etc.
14. What is their personal favourite place in Skyrim- a town, hold, home, dungeon, or just a natural spot they happen to have a fondness for?
I think it would really like the little mushroom circle near the DB sanctuary in Falkreath!! It probably meditates in that area uwu I know there are more locations it would like that I can't remember but I'd need to boot up Skyrim and run around for a bit to jog my memory. I'll try to make note of them tho !!
I feel like Apocrypha goes without saying, but also Apocrypha feels more kike a home to it than any place on Nirn.
18. Your Dragonborn is now an actual dragon- what do they look like? Do they possess any unique features or abilities?
Like it crawled out of the depths of Apocrypha!! A vibrant, neon green with black ink oozing from between its scales, glowing orange eyes, and barbed tentacles wrapping around its body like armor that it lashes out with for close range attacks uwu
21. Do they worship any of the Divines, and if so, which do they have the strongest affinity for?
It does Not uwu
24. How did they respond to Miraak and what do they feel about him? Do they regret killing him? Did they spare him?
!!!!!!!!!! Oh yes this is a Good question for it !!
Mora tells it about Miraak. That it isn't the only Dragonborn in existence. Then He tells it that Miraak is His Champion--but Miraak hates it. He wants to escape Apocrypha and betray his Master, use the tools he was given against Him. Less to manipulate Vulon into killing him, more to give it permission. But Miraak doesn't find out about Vulon until it's too late. Until it's broken into whatever fake sanctuary Miraak thought he had, not even letting him get to the Summit of Apocrypha. Vulon tells Miraak that it's Master doesn't take kindly to a Champion that plans to betray Him and then challenges him, and it's only when they fight and Vulon Shouts that Miraak realizes this isn't some half-crazed Seeker vying for Mora's attention.
Vulon kills Miraak and ascends as Mora's Champion. It wears this title with pride and Love, and Mora is genuinely...fond of it. Vulon doesn't regret it's decision.
27. If your Dragonborn were an in-game boss fight, what would their lair be like? What enemies would help them in the fight (if any) and what quest might lead to another hero having to fight them?
I touched on it in the other ask I've answered, here! :3 Unfortunately I haven't thought of much more detail for this yet...
28. What are their greatest assets, both in terms of in-game skills and otherwise? What gave them the upper hand that allowed them to defeat Alduin?
TITS.
Ok. Sorry. UM real talk even before being approached by Mora it was an incredibly skilled and passionate mage, that loved figuring new ways of casting spells specifically in fights. So it's very good at using its terrain or environment to its advantage in general as well as improvise when things go unexpectedly wrong. And ik in game it seems like only Dragons can make new Shouts easily but I feel like it would be good at Doing Just That. It learns humans created a Shout to fuck up the Dragons and thinks "well shit, I can do that easy" and then it Does. Like I don't think that would be hard. Might piss off Alduin tho, but boo hoo.
30. Are they proud of themselves? Do they see themselves as a hero?
It is Absolutely proud of itself, but not bc its fooled itself into thinking its a hero. No, it's just a broken, traumatized, and scared young man that made it through what broke and traumatized it and came out Okay, and even happy.
31. VERY IMPORTANT BONUS QUESTION: In their opinion, who is the best dog in all Skyrim?
Answered this one too :D it's Meeko!! It would feel so worried for this poor dog, esp. after finding his owner :( It would bury him with his journal tho, and take good care of Meeko uwu
And I'll answer what I can for Jo'safiir!
1. What is their background and backstory, summarised into a paragraph?
Jo'safiir is the best friend of the Last Dragonborn, Arch Mage of the College of Winterhold, husband of Miraak, and a Demiprince of Hermaeus Mora. He was taken in by two ordinary merchant Khajiit around the same time they had their first litter. They raised him with love and care just like all his siblings, teaching him their trade, and making sure he grew up healthy. They very quickly learned that he had an affinity for magic and began buying any spell tomes they could find for him. There weren't really any instructors or tutors for a young mage (at least not that they could get a hold of) so he was entirely self taught! But he always dreamed of studying magic Officially, and when he turned 18 his parents surprised him with money and supplies for travel to the College of Winterhold. He got there safely and very quickly proved himself to be incredibly skilled naturally, with a drive to learn more that surpassed any of his peers. Savos Aren in particular appreciated this and took him on as an apprentice. About halfway through his time at the College he told his peers he would be traveling back home to visit his parents, but in reality he journeyed to Apocrypha. Ambitious as ever he was determined to unlock hidden and forgotten ancient magics, and immediately Mora noticed his son had returned. He didn't reveal Jo'safiir's "family history" to him, instead acting as a mentor for a while before letting Jo'safiir return to Winterhold. Not much goes on before The Questline happens, and with Jo'safiir having been Savos' apprentice that he had been training to take his place, Jo'safiir was comfortable taking his position early (though he grieved deeply over his master's death and always feels like it's his fault). After a few years he goes home to visit his family and along his way back he winds up getting arrested alongside the LDB, another Khajiit named Ko'jiirah, and that Kickstarts the main questline! :3
9. Whether they are magical or not- if they were to invent a spell for their own uses, that does not already exist in Skyrim, what kind of spell would they come up with?
Well he is the Arch Mage so I'd sure hope he's magical XD Lmao but anyways--I think he'd team up with J'zargo to help perfect his flame cloak scrolls, first of all. I think he'd come up with a few different combat spells that combined preexisting destruction spells, and maybe a magelight that isn't so bright, perfect for late night reading while your husband tries to sleep uwu
13. Dungeon delving- are they a fan? Do they do it for fun, or money, or just because of circumstance? Do they prefer Dwemer or Nordic ruins?
He doesn't do it for fun but Ko'jiirah drags him into it x3 To be fair though, they Do adventure together a lot. Hmm. He'd prefer Nord dungeons bc he doesn't wat to intrude upon the Falmer tho :3 He doesn't loot much from dungeons tho, but if he sees any old books or journals he'll take them!
17. What’s their style- do they tend to wear armour and if so, what sort? Otherwise what’s their average day-to-day clothing?
He doesn't wear armor except on very rare occasions where he'll have some chainmail and leather armor, typically worn under a robe. He's very much a stereotypical mage in that he's always wearing robes. Some light ones for warm weather, and many heavy, fur-lined ones for Winterhold (something Miraak always teases him for XD).
19. Which NPC have they killed and regretted it?
Yknow he doesn't actually do a lot of killing aside from bandits or like, genuinely fucked up people like the weird motherfucker who imprisoned the ghosts of a bunch of women he was creepy towards. I think he'd regret it in that it was like, a little traumatizing for him but not because he didn't think the people deserved to die.
21. Do they worship any of the Divines, and if so, which do they have the strongest affinity for?
He really doesn't, but he's not like....disrespectful towards them? He acknowledges them and acknowledges that they're. Well. Divine!
22. Which Daedric Prince(s) do they end up most aligned to, if any? Which artifacts do they own and which do they actively make use of?
Mora, simply because he's His Demiprince! He's also on good terms with Sheogorath, Mephala, and Azura.
Fun Fact: OG Dragonborn Jo'safiir was originally going to be a Champion of Meridia, bc he was my first OC and that was my first Daedric Quest :3 he still has his original dislike for the undead but now it's more him being mildly unnerved by them rather than a hatred (for them or for necromancers).
26. Which follower(s) would they never go anywhere without? On a personal level, what is their relationship with the follower(s) in question like and why do they stick with them?
Hmm I'm gonna count Miraak bc there Is the Miraak follower mod :3 That's his husband!! He comes along with Jo'safiir and Ko'jiirah on most or their travels, unless one of them is needed at the College.
31. VERY IMPORTANT BONUS QUESTION: In their opinion, who is the best dog in all Skyrim?
I think Jo'safiir would be allergic to dogs unfortunately :')
No worries about the questions, I LOVE talking about my OCs!!! I'm sorry I took so long responding to this though :') But it was LOTS of fun !!
As for the Vyrthaals--it started from me thinking "what if Vyrthaal was discovered by the Volkihar Clan instead of Marzog," and then evolved into "What if in multiple alternate timelines each Daedric Prince had Vyrthaal as a child, and then what if bc of The Hubris Of Mortals Trying To Harness Daedric Powers From Across Dimensions dragged them together into a weird new dimension that they had to work together to fight their way out of and bond together over?" And now I have a surprisingly somewhat-serious "Into the Vyrthaal-Verse" idea :') Not every Demiprince Vyrthaal is well developed, bc this is purely just a fun and goofy little adventure for me to play with in my brain, but I love the idea so much I've posted about it a bunch here and the Vyrthaals r all their own characters now :3
So if anyone wants a funky Demiprince snow elf buddy for one of their OCs-- (joking unless anyone else is down hehehe).
Thank you for asking !!! Again this was LOTS of fun I love talking about my funky guys :D

Lich, Halfling, and Jarl, for original flavor vyrthaal
I love the phrase "original flavor" Vyrthaal omg XD Thank u for that and the questions !! Here we go with the lad himself!
Halfling: How do they view half-breeds?
Genuinely I don't think Vyrthaal would have much of an opinion on mixed race people tbh?? He's a snow elf who's family is primarily Orcs, his sister is an ancient Nord, and one of his uncledads is an even Ancient-er Nord (or maybe Serana and Miraak are roughly from the same time period, I don't remember when Serana was hidden away). The way he sees it r people r who they r n that's just how it be!
Jarl: How dose your muse address royalty? Would they carry out an order at the request of a Jarl?
Being former nobility Vyrthaal is Very good at being formal, polite, and respectful. But he's also bitter and cynical in his later teenage years, so whether he keeps thay respect depends on who he's addressing. He has nothing but sheer disgust towards Ulfric and would never speak to him respectfully. He thinks Elisif is like, not the worst but a coward but he'd call her Jarl at the very least. He is deeply respectful toward King Madanach and treats him with the utmost respect (which is returned, I would think, and not only because Sina is one of his closest allies). As for carrying out a Jarl's request...most likely? He's a famed vampire hunter and the Last Dragonborn, the only requests that would be made of him would probably be "hey can you get this den of vampires that keep attacking my people?" or "Can you kill this dragon that's fucking up our shit?".
Lich: How dose your muse view necromancy and the undead?
He's very haunted by the Soul Cairn and as such wary of Necromancers n afraid of the undead. Serana is the exception but she sort of....stops practicing necromancy after All That. He wouldn't kill a necromancer purely Because they're a necromancer, but also he wouldn't be willing to spare a necromancer should they be doing some Fucked Up shit like reanimated people who would want their remains left in peace. Eventually hunting necromancers probably becomes a minor part of his job though, so there's That.
Tumblr media
Now for Jo'safiir!!
Nord: What’s their overall option on the Nordic people of Skyrim?
Jo'safiir doesn't want to believe any race is inherently bad or good, but he IS wary of Nords. They've been the ones most likely to be hostile at best and dangerously racist at worst towards him in the past, and that isnt somethin he can easily forget. He tries very hard to not write every Nord he meets off as one of the bad ones but at this point it's an unfortunate instinct.
Outsider: How would your muse respond to being call this upon arriving in either Markarth or Solstheim?
Depending on the day, anywhere between exasperated and infuriated, but most likely infuriated. It feels less like "You're not from here and we're wary" and more like a targeted and personal attack on him due to being Khajiit :/
Quill: How much writing dose your muse do? Do they keep any journals or have they published any books?
Oh he writes all the time!! He's been keeping journals since he was young, mostly to keep notes on his use and research of magic. When he began traveling with Ko'jiirah he also used his journal to talk about their adventures and to take notes on the Word walls they encountered! I think that he would be the OC of mine most likely to publish a book, though on what I'm not sure.
Thank you so much for all the questions, they were really fun to answer!! :D

You've been visited by the random OC question fairy! :D ~☆
What is a conversation like with your character? Do they have a go-to story or joke to share? Do they tend to actively participate in conversation or are they more passive?
I answered for a few bc i love imagining my OCs interacting with people uwu thank u for sending me so many asks I know it takes me forever to answer anything but I appreciate it ur so sweet ;;;;
Serene: Tends to go for short answers that tend to leave people feeling like they're deeply annoying him and one more word away from getting decapitated. The biggest exceptions: Jo'safiir, who he will actually Converse with, Miraak who he often mocks and makes fun of, and Vulon who he admires for his raw feral energy (but also makes fun of). He definitely doesn't tell jokes, and as a storyteller he's rather lackluster, preferring to get right to the point with as little delay as possible. Conversations with him feel like talking to a brick wall that wants to decorate itself with your blood.
Vyrthaal: Conversations with Vyr really vary! Among friends and family hes very talkative, ESPECIALLY with Marzog and the rest of their compound because he's helped them all be at least conversationally fluent in ancient Falmeri (and Sina helps!!). With people he doesn't know, or is helping out as a part of a job for the Dawnguard though, he tends to be very quiet, giving short and concise replies. He's still a very polite kid, just not as chatty! He does try to keep things lighthearted (especially when he's doing Dawnguard things), and is known to crack jokes or just say silly things when it wouldn't be too inappropriate. Hes fun to talk to once he feels comfortable around people :)
Jo'safiir: Two answers for him! Talking with Jo'safiir is knowing that you're being Listened To. He takes in your every word and treasures it, delighted that you're taking the time out of your day to speak with him. He asks questions and keeps the conversation going and going until suddenly you realize how safe you feel talking to him, and you start telling him all your secrets. Or, he can also be snarky and sarcastic, playfully poking fun but without any malice, just being a little shit and trying to make others laugh. That's normally just with people he's close to (like Ko'jiirah, Boltu, and Miraak for instance).
Niralek: If anyone remembers my Spriggan lmao,,,conversations with her are even More difficult than Serene. Granted she only talks to members of the Dawnguard, but still. Very few of them Enjoy talking to her beyond a hello because she tends to Scare People, which makes sense!! She's a Spriggan!! They're known for being Very Not Friendly! She, surprisingly, knows a fair amount of non-Spriggan languages tho so conversation with her Is possible -- it normally feels like you're being judged by her the entire time, but it's possible! But with the few people she actually considers friends (namely Pelaril, Isran, and Florentius) she's actually happy to listen to them talk, and is even known to reply back to them !

11, 12, 13!
Since no one was specified in gonna pick a few different OCs! I hope you don't mind ;u;
11.) Has your character ever broken someone's heart? Have they ever made someone close to them (friend, s/o, etc.) cry? How has this situation affected their actions in the future?
I'll answer this one for Jo'safiir!! He's Never broken any hearts, BUT he did make Miraak cry when he sort of "lost control" and nearly dragged the entirety of the College into Apocrypha to make his own pocket-plane of Oblivion. (Maybe also Ko'jiirah too). It was less making him cry and more the event itself that changed him, had him finally focusing more on the world around him and less on researching ancient fucked up magic, and actually Be with his loved ones.
12.) Does your character see themselves as a good person? Is their perception accurate to reality?
For Daro!! Yes he believes he's a good person, and tbh I think he's pretty good. He acts purely with the interests and safety of not just his family but the Reachmen of Skyrim as a whole at heart, and really does have a lot of care for the world around him. I dont think he's like, a hero or anything, tho. Just a dude who wants to make the world Way Less Shitty.
13.) What is your character's personal version of hell?
OKAY I kmow I don't have Maethril very developed BUT I can answer for this one and it's Failing. When he learns he's the Dragonborn and that He, Personally, needs to stop Alduin it takes up his entire mind. He likes this world. He doesn't want it to end. He'll for him would be failing and letting Alduin destroy it, losing everything and everyone he holds dear (and of course everyone Else in the world loosing that too).
Also, really crowded places filled with very noisy people.

Which OC can climb a tree and which one would be a the bottom ready to call the fire department on them?
Alakskfkgk Vyrthaal would be climbing a tree and i Know Serana isn't an OC but she'd still be at the bottom ready to call the fire department. Kili is also at the bottom, cheering him on.
Sethsa would ALSO be climbing a tree and Deathcry grabs Chal to make him call one of th Guild members to help her get down when she inevitably gets stuck and too scared to climb down. Grown ass woman afraid to climb down a tree--
AND JO'SAFIIR. Claims he's too dignified to climb up a tree but probably Ko'jiirah would dare him too or smthn so He Does. (Again, not an OC but) miraak is so tempted 2 just. Leave him up there when he realizes he's not sure how to get down. Serene is like "Sir just let go. You're half Daedric Prince ur gonna be fine. I think. You know healing spells."
(Bonus Vulon climbing up a tree and getting too scared to come down which is so fuckign funny bc its a reckless little shit that NEVER thinks n throws itsself into fights n shit without fear but This Is What Breaks It. Mora has to come get it down)

☀️ for vyrthaal and jo'safiir pwease
I got, Weird with this one because I am actually Very tired, but I liked writing these responses :')
Thank u for ur patience with this anon!!!
☀️ What makes your OC genuinely happy? A person, an item, their hobby? Where is the place they’re happiest, or most at home? What is the happiest they’ve ever been?
VYRTHAAL: ooooo there's a lot of Thing....waking up to a cold morning with fresh snow on the ground and a sharp chill in the air, the sun just starting to peak over the horizon. Everyone else in the Stronghold is asleep, and he performs his morning rituals quietly, safe in the knowledge that he's surrounded by love.
Sneaking through ancient caverns with Serana and Kili in tow, finding evidence of Falmer left for others to know they're in safe territory. Hearing Kili call out to his people, reassuring them that the trio are friendly, and being led through winding tunnels into well hidden caves buried comfortably, deep underground. He sits around an artificial fire made of strange blue crystals casting an unearthly glow, clicks and chitters filling in the air, and shares a bowl of mushroom soup with his two best friends.
He was happiest, surprisingly, in a strange and twisted world. An awful amalgamation of everything he and his other selves feared. Emerging triumphantly after trials meant to rip them apart but instead brought them together. Seventeen faces so similar yet vastly different from his own are all grinning, mixed cries of delight filling the cold and unwelcoming air, and it feels like the comforting warmth of the sun is filling his very soul. These people are him, yet not, and they love each other as they forge an unbreakable bond together, stronger than Daedra, stronger than Aedra.
JO'SAFIIR: His happiest memories are on the road. Him, Miraak, and Ko'jiirah traveling together on their next adventure. Ko'jiirah telling them about a wild adventure or sharing a hilarious story. Miraak singing a song, his voice deep and soft, in an accent that's rich and ancient. Him cooking meat, freshly killed, as the hearty scent of dried herbs mingling with the smoke of a campfire holds them in a loving embrace.
He visits his family back in Elseweyr. His parents shower him with kisses and younger siblings fight over who gets picked up by their big brother first, some of the smallest hiding in his long, strange mage robes. He helps them all prepare a rich welcome home feast, eagerly telling stories about his adventures in Skyrim. Not all of them are good, and he keeps those hidden away. But he tells them about friendship, and homes-away-from-home, and love, and flying on the wings of dragons long into the night, before happily curling up in a nest of comfortable blankets that smell like safety.

7, 11 and 12 for jo’saffir :0!!
Sorry for the long post I Love Rambling :'3
7)      Any disabilities?
(If you listen closely you can hear the sound of me Projecting) He has ADHD!! I don't really know if there's like...the Tamrielic Equivalent Of Adderall or anything but if there was he would still likely be unmedicated--because for most of his life he didn't know he had it! His parents found ways to help him sit and focus and manage it though, and by the time he went to the College he knew how to succeed with it.
When he caught up with Ko'jiirah at the Summit of Apocrypha he tried to help her fight off Miraak, and now Hermaeus Mora. During the fight he was gravely injured in his left leg by one of Mora's tentacles, and was never able to fully or properly heal it. Hes always in some amount of pain from it; some days it's manageable, and other days he can barely walk down a flight of stairs. He ends up using his staffs as canes, since he almost always has one with him it's not too difficult for him to adjust. Sometimes he'll use the Staff of Magnus bc "that's the only thing this stupid stick is good for!" (It works it just. Doesn't respond to a Daedra lmao)
11)   Do they have parents? What are they like and how do they act with their child(ren)?
He does! His mother and father adopted him, and are two of the best influences in his life. They're kind and understanding and actively encouraged him to explore his interests. Neither of them were at all good at magic so they couldn't help him directly, but they did everything they could to find books on the subject.
They were like that with all their kids too, Jo'safiir wasn't an exception! They were fairly busy but always made a point to spend time with their kids n made sure they all knew they were loved uwu
As for his biological parents. Hm.
So he was sort of just....left near where his parents could find him, as his mortal parent wasn't able to raise him. Mora ignored him until he traveled to Apocrypha, where he then worked to try and convince Jo'safiir to stay forever without outright telling him his origins. Telling him he was the brightest mage he's met, that he'd do so well in Apocrypha, as his Apprentice. And it entices Jo'safiir so much. He considers it. But he returns to Mundus anyways.
And when Jo'safiir returns with Ko'jiirah to fight Miraak, and he has no intention of staying, Mora lashes out and tries to wound him to keep him from escaping, so after that he's not very Fond of his Daedric Parent.
(But Apocrypha does call to him. He returns, primarily with the goal to protect Miraak from his former Master. And eventually he learns to get along with Mora)
12)   Do they have siblings? How do they interact with them? If not, do they wish they had siblings?
He has a few!! Starsong is the only one I've developed, and Ra'sava belongs to Toby. The three of them get along really well, though Jo'safiir and Ra'sava are notably more gremlin-y than Starsong lmao. Starsong is a Vigilant of Stendarr and that stresses Jo'safiir out SO much when he learns he's actually a Demiprince. He tries so hard to hide it from him but eventually tells Starsong. But it doesn't change anything!! That's still Starsong's baby brother, and they get along just as well afterwards. The three of them Are, Occasionally, huge gremlins at each other and probably bicker now and then. But at the end of the day they're each others ride or dies.
Thank you anon!!! I always love talking about Jo'safiir he's got a special place in my heart as my first (developed) Skyrim OC ;u; Hes changed so much,,,

🔒 with jo'safiir pwease?
Send me 🔒 + an OC and I’ll tell you one of their secrets
He's terrified of one day losing control and hurting those he cares about--Miraak, Ko'jiirah, his students, the faculty at the College. His Daedric nature terrifies him.

You've been visited by the random OC question fairy! :D ~☆
What are the five most influential relationships (lovers, friends, enemies, mentors, etc.) that your character has/had? How have these relationships affected them?
JO'SAFIIR TIME BABEYYYYYY
1) I'm gonna count his adopted family as one unit, because they all always encouraged his love of magic. Especially his parents, who would always go out of their way to find as many spell tomes for him as they could and encouraged him to practice. Neither of them were very adept at magic, but they did try and teach themselves a bit on the practice so they could make sure he knew they supported him (something they've always done for all their kids! Jo'safiir's parents are wholesome.) It of course lead him to moving to Skyrim to attend the College of Winterhold and had him grow up to be a very loving person with an instinct to support people around him !
2) Savos Aren!!!! He quickly saw Jo'safiir's skill and was eager to take him under his wing and truly hone his ability. He gave Jo'safiir the best attempts at challenging him. To be honest, this is in part to have the player character being made the Arch Mage make a bit more sense, but also because we love a wholesome and fulfilling master and apprentice relationship in this household uwu
3) Ko'jiirah!!!! His best friend !!!! Besties 4 life!!!! She is a force of chaos that just decided she was In His Life Forever, and he couldn't be more delighted. She keeps him grounded, she's funny and fun to hang out with, and also goes on lots of Adventures(tm) that she drags him on so that he gets some non-College related excitement in his life. They're ride or dies forever. She even visits him when he takes his position as the Keeper of the Forgotten Archives !
4) Hermaeus Mora, for better or for worse :/ Of course his Daedric parent was intent on swaying Jo'safiir's mind into embracing his Daedric Half. Feeding his hunger for knowledge, showing him well-kept secrets of magic that ought to be forgotten, all that fun stuff! He of course taught Jo'safiir a great deal but also inadvertently traumatized him when he tried to trap Jo'safiir in Apocrypha, when he traveled there with Ko'jiirah to deal with Miraak. Jo'safiir recovers, eventually, but even when he does Officially move on from Nirn to take up his title, he has a great deal of resentment towards his Parent.
5) Miraak :) They become husbands uwu He makes Jo'safiir feel loved in a way he's never experienced, and he's also the only other person who can even Slightly understand the draw to Apocrypha...this of course happens After Miraak is no longer wary of Jo'safiir; he can sense the fact that he's half Daedra. Buuuuut he can also sense that Jo'safiir is Also rather fucked up from the events at the Summit of Apocrypha, and sees that he just wants to get the fuck away from Solstheim for a while. They're in love........
