#Conway Day

At last, I think my personal well has dried up, so I wanted to finish it with a bang! I forgot how long I've been sitting on these!

*checks*

2017?! Okay, then!

This is a continuation of one of the first Conway Day posts. After Dawn loses a lot of her hair against her will, it hurts her deeply and she understandably holds something of a grudge over Conway for quite some time.

I haven't worked out how exactly they'll ultimately make amends (they are slated to get hitched, after all), but the setup is a unique spin on a future Contest they both partake in.

It's sort of a mix between a Contest and the Battle Frontier's Battle Arcade or Battle Factory, in that Coordinators are given a random Pokemon to theme themselves and their show after.

So, Dawn gets a Ledyba, and Conway gets a Torracat.

Thusly, they become the Miraculous Ledyba and Torracat Noir ~!

And because Dawn's hair is so short now, it makes her work that Marinette hairstyle far better than she could had her hair remained long! Victory, conflict resolved...?

Dunno. Just couldn't resist doing this.

And I have a feeling @nerdinsandals would be interested in this.

Tadaomi: Hayasaka-san, AP-san, hello there. Where are you two going?

Kohei: …Kurama.

Tadaomi: Oh? The others aren't with you?

Kohei: …They’re not. Goodbye now. AP-san, let’s get going. The hardware store should be over this way.

Tadaomi: You’re already leaving? We were so lucky to run into each other, I thought we could talk for a little longer?

Kohei: Sorry, but we’ll have to save it for next time. AP-san, let’s go.

Kohei: No, it’s fine. There’s nothing I particularly want to say to him.

I don't know if I posted this cutie in the past but this is Ryuukoten (name changed slightly since I drew his animal form)

Ryuukoten is a tsukaima or familiar in my manga series Painted Black. Specifically, he is Kohei's tsukaima. More below!

A tsukaima is a being that is born and dies a part of any mage's soul. They are what make mages different from mortals and are the source of their magical abilities, dictate which magical sources they draw from, and grant them unique spells and abilities.

Ryuukoten is a draconic type familiar. He is a piebald dragon to go hand in hand with Kohei who has vitiligo. He manifests within Kohei as a priest but externally as a small dragon.

Oh yeah, I actually had a concept design for Conway in Travels of the Trifecta Arc II. Kiiiinda based it off Adrien Agreste's outfit, but I think I could've done better with the colors.

Bonus:

Did the same for Barry, and yeah, went for more of an Alya feel on his shirt while failing miserably.
