I just had a realization that we'll probably never see Kojiro from the Nanbaka manga animated and it makes me pretty sad cuz I would do anything for this shork

Hii I love you're work and I'm glad that nanbaka is still popular, I haven't been able to find much about kojiro but I love how you right him, I think it would be cute to see how he would react to a s/o with anxiety, sorry if I'm bothering you or this is weird

okay, so for a while i didn't answer asks because of school. I was essentially just burnt out yk. Uhm, I love Kojiro, and I love this ask because idk writing things I have experience with makes it feel more personal and real. I like headcanon formatting, so I hope you don't mind!

So, Kojiro is pretty outgoing, he's the extrovert between the two of you but not so much of a social butterfly that he doesn't acknowledge when you need space

He's pretty socially aware, and knows that even if you feel okay to do something with him and his friends (mainly just Ikkaku) it doesn't mean you still won't be nervous

Kojiro knows that anxiety is a constant thing

Sometimes he asks Isou to check on you (even though he never will) and other times he lets you come to him if something is really bothering you

"I don't think I want to go to the beach with you and Ikkaku..."

"That's okay!"

"Really?"

"Yeah! I don't want to force you to go and not have a good time."

"But-"

"No buts, I know sometimes you don't like hanging out with Ikkaku because he can be... abrasive. Sometimes I don't like hanging out with him either but it's what I have to do."

"When you get back do you... maybe wanna watch a movie?"

"Of course!"

With any relationship communication is important, so he always wants to communicate what he's feeling or doing regardless if it seems too much. And if it is too much he'll tone it down.

Your thoughts can get the best of you when you don't hear from him for a little while, the bad voice in the back of your head chimes in all these nasty things about how he must love Ikkaku more than you because he's so cool and you're just lame.

You feel bad because Kojiro's heart breaks when he hears some of these thoughts. It's not that you don't want him to worry, but you think he has better things to worry about.

When your anxiety gets really bad you start shaking uncontrollably. It's something you can't control. Kojiro stumbled upon this realization when he had left to get some popcorn for a movie night and you had looked at your phone.

Someone sent you a text asking if they could talk and your mind just sort of... shut off. It was hard to explain to him.

You wanted to cry and scream because you just couldn't help but feel that they wanted to tell you something bad or hurt you in some way, shape, or form.

Kojiro had to take your phone the rest of the night and told that person you would look at it tomorrows.

He dotes on you because he knows what its like to have his troubles and his worries laughed at, or mistreated because of the way he thinks. He doesn't want to do that to you.

If you ever feel like you're being left out then Kojiro will remind you (with love and care) that you are not being left out and that is just your dumb evil thoughts. (feeling the bad thoughts is not dumb)

He loves you and wants the best for you.

I finally got to do Blue for the #colorwheelchallenge! Since i have started i knew who was going to be in it. How could i not do my shark baby boy Kojiro?

Have way through colouring him I remembered "Wait... This is my own colourwheelchallange challange... I can do what I want!" And so I added my own character Banksy!

We are nearing the end! Only 2 more colours left, next is purple.

Been really into Nanbaka recently, so I figured I’d draw some fanart of some of my favorite boys!! First one is Kojiro and the second is Manji!

Kojiro's introductory arc still gives me emotional whiplash btw

like they give us a fun bubbly shark guy, yh? cool powers, sympathetic world view, not agreeing with the villains while still being trusted by them to carry out Shiki's goals. we're expecting a snapping moment.

and it comes quickly, too, with the shark hunters, and how he thinks they can be reasoned w. I actually gasped when they threw the carcass at him and got him covered with blood. that had to be his villain origin story. the moment he turned his back on humanity.

INSTEAD HE STARTS FLASHBACKING. to the time where his middle school friends got jealous of his track and field skills and tried to murder him by throwing him off a footbridge and onto railroad tracks, which didn't kill him but sawed off both his legs when a train went over them and im sat here like going wjat the fuck what the fuck-

(Kind of shy since I've got a history of misreading stuff/getting details mixed up in my head so worried I might have misunderstood and end up bothering you) May I ask for headcanons for Kojiro with an aspec fem!s/o who's uncomfy with kissing? Like, in theory it's nice and maybe she might try it someday to see what the fuss is but in present the idea of actually doing it feels just awful in a way she's not sure how to word. Instead, she prefers just hugging and holding hands, stuff like that.

You didn't bother me or misread anything at all, but I understand the anxiety around requesting people for stories or head canons and stuff. I mostly write for male or enby readers but it was my fault for not including it in my pinned post.

Don't worry though! I'm so glad you requested, and I love Kojiro. This idea is really cute! I tried alternating between she/they pronouns, I hope that's okay.

Kojiro absolutely understands what aspec is because of high school and he talked to people, he was Mr. Popular

100% loves to hang out with his s/o no matter what because she's fun to hang around

He's a very physical person, but had never kissed anyone before and was content with not doing that anytime in the future

Talking to him probably ended really happily

"Kojiro, I have something to tell you... I- I'm so sorry I haven't told you anything further."

"What is it sea star? Are you okay? Did you get hurt? Did something happen?!" Already panicking.

"You know how Ikkaku was talking about how couples kiss and stuff the other day? Well... I don't... I don't think I want too!"

"Oh. That's perfectly okay!" Kojiro grinned and reached his hands out to his s/o

He ABSOLUTELY adores holding hands, hugging, and cuddling. A very touchy feely person who always wants to feel close to those he cares about.

Not a second thought about the whole kissing thing, after they mention it then it doesn't matter to him anymore

If anyone in Shiki teases them whether out of ignorance, or true maliciousness the training Ikkaku does with him suddenly pays off

If his friends try to play a drinking game with him and his s/o he will politely decline because a drinking game means Ikakku will be drunk and he often falls under peer pressure

If the time comes in the far, far, far future that she wants to try and share a kiss with him

OH boy

Kojiro will make it the most romantic thing on the planet

Flowers, candles

All the things she enjoys will be there

He'll even ask Isou for advice on how to romance people

(It doesn't go well at all)

But he'll try so hard to make you comfortable and happy, if the verdict is that they don't like it then he's fine with that

As long as he's with them it doesn't matter what they do
