sorry but i gotta give gem his flowers because hes been working over ida’s character so well like its so reminiscent of the manga ida because therein i think the author tries to depict and while ida Might look very serious and firm and nonchalant and is Excessively aware of that yet very obtuse at times with everything he still Cares A lot exactly because people assume he’s above it and almost perfect that’s why he asks aoki to wait for his answer and is so confused because he has never liked someone so how would he know what it feels to love and fall?

but he is direct and clear to a fault and tries because he feels something too and it’s not repressed by his awareness of how the world doesn’t see their love as love so he takes the lead in the relationship with aoki and helps him realise they do not need to be ashamed, he initiates touches and holds aoki’s hand to make aoki realise he desires him in the same manner and i think gems portrayal is very similar to the manga because here too, we see kongthap being depicted as this person who might look perfect from an outsider’s perspective: he is gorgeous and talented and kind, he works hard and is never arrogant, he looks so serious and firm almost as if he knows everything.

but that’s exactly what the gag is and it was sprinkled around in the narrative from the start with kongthap himself admitting to it but in this episode it was made so clear, especially to atom who was thinking kongthap was Serious and perfect only to see this new side of him in front of his childhood friends to expose that kongthap’s a silly anime nerd who remembers all the lines to slam dunk, who laughs at silly jokes and makes silly faces too, a boy who has never liked anyone so he has a hard time understanding what like exactly means but he is so Earnest that he is asking his friends for help because he doesn’t want to hurt atom at all but also because he Is Feeling something and he wants to understand what it exactly entails. and gems animated face this ep delighted me because it showcased how though he cannot pinpoint why exactly he is feeling A lot when it comes to atom, the fondness his face shows without him realising sometimes, he is Expressive too just more subtle.

ida blushed so much in the manga and carried so many small smiles for aoki and thats what gem channelled for this ep and god i loved it so much because its such an integral part of the character and just like ida realised his unique experience of love with a little bit of help from others and their understanding of love so will kongthap

Night: "He used to be a bit lazy and party too much, but he cleaned up his act when it was necessary and that's called growth. He cared so much about his brother, sacrificed so much for his family and when he fell in love with a woman who was pregnant with another man's baby he didn't question it at all and instead embraced it and became the dad who stepped up and saw that kid as his own!! That's very green flag behaviour if you ask me"

Kongthap: "Kongthap has never been in love before. He doesn't know feelings™, but he does know that you should respect everyone else's feelings. He is so respectful and mindful so the guy who only pretended to have a crush on Kongtahp develops an actual crush on Kongthap. He constantly makes sure that it's okay for Atom to have a crush on him, although he doesn't feel the same yET but will make damn sure to figure that out, cos that's what Atom deserves. When he finally figures out he likes Atom and wants to explore what they have, he always ends up researching about the issues they face, and although he's not a man with words, he always wants to communicate about it all. When he's not busy being respectful of other people's feelings, he's busy dreaming about becoming a vet and saving animals, after saving a cat from the street. He's just simply a walking green flag"

GeminiFourth things: this is when I make doodles for both of them on their respective birthdays. And, it has been a pleasure to have come across them since their My School President days. :3

Gemini Norawit and Fourth Nattawat are usually seen together in some events, and their last TV series together is the Thai adaptation of Wataru Hinekure and Aruko's My Love Mix-Up, in which they respectively portrayed as Kongthap Kaweewat (Kousuke Ida) and Atom Achira (Sota Aoki). I've also seen them respectively as Tinn Tinnaphob + Gun Guntaphon in My School President, and Heart (the deaf kid) + Li Ming (the rebellious kid) in Midnight Series: Moonlight Chicken—and they also held concerts and fan meetings around Asia.

If you are looking forward to more GeminiFourth stuff, I guess it's more on the fan meets at the moment. Besides, Gemini and Fourth will have separate TV dramas that they will be part of this 2025~2026—as of the moment, Fourth is undergoing workshops and training for his role in Scarlet Heart Thailand, while Gemini is set to portray a seemingly bad guy in The Dark Dice.
