OKAY!
I looked into the list of songs for the kortia event and I almost choose more than one lol.
But anyways, now for the ask: Can I have some Florus (duh) and fem adventurer (I think you know who fhkfkfk) with song 14?
You can decide the scenario (i trust you)
Love ya gen, thank you again for all the food you provide
The Opposite of Lonely
Song: "The Only Exception" by Paramore
Lyric: "And up until now I had sworn to myself/That I'm content with loneliness/Because none of it was ever worth the risk"
Pairing: Florus x F!Adventurer
Word Count: 455
A/N: Hello, Erre! Thank you for all your support during the past nearly 18 months! Your simping for Florus was always such a delight, so I hope this will be as delightful for you as it was to write <3
Adventurer had gotten used to her frequent visits with the princess of the Kortian Empire. When not rolling her eyes at her and Zeno's banter, she was assisting the princess with frankly menial tasks that Florus was probably able to do herself. At this point, it was a bit annoying to be called in to figure out who stole a barrel of mead from the tavern. (It wasn't Zeno, as everyone thought, but the local fruit vendor who had suddenly gained popularity for his delicious fruit juice.)
After the third call in a week, she had to say something. "Princess, not that I don't enjoy your company, but don't you think you summon me far too often?"
Florus's eyebrows leaped up her forehead, only to quickly furrow over her bright eyes. "What do you mean?"
"I mean, do you really need my help searching for a lost puppy? And why is a princess looking for a puppy anyway?"
A few moments of silence passed, with Florus apparently thinking over her response. Her fingers tapped the hilt of her sword as she absentmindedly scratched her finger by her ear. Finally, she said, "I, uh. I honestly just wanted to spend more time with you."
"What?"
The princess let out a nervous chuckle. "Ever since the Cult Mages incident, I realized solving mysteries with you and going around the city was kinda fun. I just wanted to spend more time with you, to be honest."
This was... not what she'd expected. Adventurer almost wished for a bench or a barrel (preferably not filled with mead) or something to sit down and process this. She wasn't used to the idea that others might enjoy her company--at least, no one else here in the Kortian Empire seemed to especially enjoy spending time with her.
At some point, she'd just sort of chalked it up to her own inability to socialize. If she was destined to be lonely, so be it.
But this changed all that.
"Are..." She swallowed. "Are you sure you want to spend time with me?"
That surprised look crossed Florus's face all over again. She blinked as if she hadn't heard her question, but then her face broke out in that wide smile that came to naturally to her. "Of course, silly." In an effortless movement, she swung her sword over her shoulder, and her grin shifted to a smirk. "Who else will help me kick Zeno's ass?"
Despite herself, Adventurer chuckled, and even though it was still below her paygrade (as she would've said back on Earth), she continued to help the princess search for that kid's lost puppy.
Because as much as she tried to deny it, she enjoyed spending time with Florus, too.

Since you mentioned you'd like to write headcanons/drabbles for Kortia characters, maybe a few Zeno headcanons to start with? 👀
Zeno, my ultimate broheim * ^ * and guy I totally would have pursued if Gerald hadn’t glared his way into my heart
Daisy, I would love to spout random bullshit headcanons about Zeno I’m warning you now about how wild these are getting
Knight Zeno Headcanons
Listen if MC hadn’t been going on an empty stomach, they totally would’ve drunk Zeno under the table
...Okay no they wouldn’t have, Zeno is pretty much Legolas from Lord of the Rings, just like “huh I might be feeling it now” like 10 drinks in
The sparkles follow him everywhere just waiting for Zeno to make a face that requires them
He named every single one of them (but he won’t tell anybody else their names)
Originally he wanted to have a cape because how cool that would be... but then he saw a certain elf had it and he was like “I’ll be fine without one”
He really misses the cape though, he even named it U_U
He often forgets when he doesn’t have his helmet on or when he does have it on, kinda like if your friend gets a haircut and you don’t really remember what their hair was like before but like 1000x worse
This is a problem if he’s trying to kiss somebody, but you didn’t hear it from me >w>
Honestly sometimes he forgets he’s wearing the armor and will put clothes over them asl;jkfd;lasjdkf;adsfa but he still looks fantastic
He changes the coloring of his armor every now and then just to see if anybody notices, but it usually ends up that everyone just thinks they’re hallucinating or something
I’m not gonna lie, he’s probably all about nicknames, but they have to come from inside jokes or something meaningful or it won’t be any fun
Yes, he hair flips, and yes, he sometimes does it when the helmet’s on I DON’T KNOW WHY THIS IS JUST HOW HE IS
----------
I... I think an apology might be in order somewhere ;w;
Why do we let Gen do these things

And she suddenly exists again
Hello, Kortia friends~
So instead of going to sleep early one night, I ended up writing this little fun fic for @erre030 , which I promised to do since she was studying and working so hard on her exams some time ago. (And she did well, which was even better <3 I’m so proud!)
This little ficlet (that’s what I’m calling it since on GDocs it was all of 2 pages a;sdljkfa;sda) features Princess Florus and Erre’s OC, Olivia, and they’re on a very cute ice cream date.
Warning: It gets a tad spicy ;) but not too much~
Ice Cream Date
Princess Varcia Florus kicked her feet back and forth as she took another lick from her ice cream cone. Of all the things that had come to the Kortian Empire from Ventali, this had to be the best. (Besides Zeno, of course, not that she would ever tell him that.)
She glanced over at Olivia, who was also enjoying some ice cream. Florus's lips curved up as she watched her girlfriend approach the ice cream methodically, most likely to keep it off her face and clothes. Her golden eyes sparkled in the sunlight, and the reflection from the fountain water shone on her back.
Florus was a little bit in love with her in that moment.
Smiling, Florus finished up her ice cream, licking the stickiness off her fingers in what was probably not a very princess-like maneuver. But that didn't matter—she was on a date with her girlfriend, after all. She had no one else to impress.
Leaning back on her hands, Florus hummed as she waited for Liv to finish her ice cream. The city was alive and bustling today, the chatter of townspeople filling the air as the sunlight warmed the air around them. It was a beautiful day, the type of day that was perfect for outings like this, sitting on the edge of a fountain, eating ice cream.
"Dammit," she heard Liv mutter, and her eyes shifted over to her girlfriend. From her angle, she couldn't see what was wrong, so she leaned forward to see that Liv had gotten some ice cream on her right cheek.
"Now how did you manage that?" Florus teased, nudging Liv's shoulder with her own.
"I miscalculated," she grumbled in response, glaring down at the remains of the ice cream. Her eyebrows had furrowed in annoyance, but that didn't stop the slight blush climbing up her face from Florus's attention.
"Need some help cleaning that up?"
"N-no," Liv replied quickly, her cheeks darkening further. Her tongue darted out of her mouth in an attempt to get the ice cream off her face, but unfortunately for her, it was too far from her lips to work. Florus watched this all with an amused eyebrow quirk, sinking her teeth into her bottom lip to keep from laughing at how cute Liv was.
"It looks like you do need some help," she teased, gently holding Liv's chin and tilting her girlfriend's face towards her. "Unless you'd rather walk around with that on your face all day."
Liv's eyes met hers, and after a moment, she glanced away, her cheeks at least three shades darker from the blushing. "F-fine."
Florus grinned and leaned forward, lifting her hand as if she was going to wipe the ice cream off with her thumb. But she didn't do that.
Instead, while Liv was squeezing her eyes shut, Florus leaned her face close to her girlfriend's. Just before her lips touched Liv's skin, her tongue darted out, licking the ice cream off of her face. The ice cream tasted good, but Liv tasted better.
She heard a gasp above her, and she leaned back with a smug look on her face. Liv lifted a hand to her face, staring at Florus incredulously. "Did you just—"
"Of course I did. Couldn't let perfectly good ice cream go to waste." Florus lightly brushed her knuckles along Liv's cheek. "Plus, I made you blush. What an adorable girlfriend I have~"
"F-Florus," Liv stammered, but before she could say much more, Florus was kissing her. Liv melted a little bit in Florus's arms as she kissed the princess back, and Florus smiled as she cupped her girlfriend's face in her hands.
Pulling away, Florus smiled broadly at Liv. "Fun date, right?"
"Yeah," Liv agreed, her own lips turning up. Rather than a deep blush, her cheeks were now adorably pinkenened, and Florus kissed Liv's cheek to keep some of the color to herself.
Lacing her fingers through Liv's, Florus stood and pulled her to her feet. "I love you," she said simply, before she started prancing through the streets of Crimson City once more.
Stuttering in the wake of those three words, Liv ran after her, embarrassed and exasperated and blushing a deep cherry red once more. Florus couldn't stop grinning, because of course, she had meant what she said. She loved Olivia, and today she had her all to herself.
~ ~ ~
I hope you all enjoyed this little slice of Florus~! I hope to post some more stuff soon, once finals hell is over and done with and I can get back down to business (to defeat the Huns).
Until next time! <3

For the writing event, maybe between female adventurer and Kor where he's the one taken by surprise for once? :DD
A/N: Thank you for requesting, Anon! It’s so nice to see more people coming in here and loving Kortia ;w; (I’m not crying, I SWEAR.) Kor, the ultimate sus master, taken by surprise? Sign me up! This was a wee bit difficult, but I TRIED MY BEST—
Word Count: 683
Pairing: Kor x F!Adventurer
How to Surprise the Unsurprised
“BOO!”
Kor glanced over his shoulder at Adventurer, who had her hands curled like claws. “What are you, a Dire in Vallaurian clothing?” he asked, thoroughly unimpressed with her attempt to startle him.
She pouted, dropping her arms to her side. “Does nothing faze you?”
“I thought I’d made that clear,” he replied, smirking. “I’m not like some people around here.”
Adventurer would have taken the jab to heart… but he was right. She had been thrown completely off guard by so many things in this strange new world… even Kor. But now that she knew him (?) a little better, he wasn’t as off-putting.
Well, that wasn’t true. He was still sorta a jerk sometimes. Like right now.
“Let me have my fun,” she huffed, stomping ahead of him.
“Why would I do that?” he quipped, moseying along like he didn’t have a care in the world. He clearly didn’t have to worry about running errands for the world’s angriest dwarf.
Rolling her eyes, Adventurer crossed her arms as she headed toward Blood Tavern. (What was it with this dwarf and milk from a tavern?) What would it take to surprise this guy?
Kor chuckled and stepped ahead of her to open the door to the tavern. “Don’t pout. I’m sure you’ll get me one of these days.”
“You’re just saying that,” she grumbled, ducking under his arm and approaching the bar. Adventurer racked her brain, trying to think of a way to surprise this man-of-no-surprises.
As the barkeep was handing her the milk for Byrus, Adventurer realized exactly what she had to do. “Mind walking me back to the city gate, Kor?”
“Eh, why not?” he said, setting down the half-finished mug of mead he’d ordered. “Lead the way.”
Suppressing her smirk, Adventurer lead the way out of the tavern, making sure not to put a skip in her step. She was definitely going to surprise him this time.
Their walk was silent, but Kor didn’t seem to particularly mind. In fact, he almost seemed relieved that he didn’t have to answer any questions at the moment. Adventurer glanced up at the sky, noticing that the sun was starting to sink toward the horizon. Well, this was going to turn out like a scene from a really cheesy romcom anime, but what was the harm in that? It’s not like this wasn’t an anime anyway, the way this all was going.
All too soon, the city gate was looming above them, and Adventurer’s heart started pounding as she realized she would have to go through with her plan. And she would have to do it now before she lost her nerve.
“Um… Kor?” she said, glancing up at the adventurer and his strangely colored hair.
“Hm?” He didn’t look at her, keeping his gaze fixed upon the guards at the gate. The smirk was gone, but there was still something mysterious about him. Was it the hoodie? The hair? The scar? All of the above? Definitely all of the above.
“Thanks for walking with me today. Errands here are less painful when there’s someone else around.” Adventurer’s heart rate picked up speed as she stopped to face him, trying to ignore the Vallaurians around her milling about.
“No problem. I tend to wander anyway, so I might as well seem like I’m doing it for a reason,” he said, half-turning toward her and finally turning that violet gaze on her. Dammit, she was starting to lose her nerve. Here goes.
Going up on her tiptoes and steadying herself on his arm, she leaped up and kissed his cheek. “Thanks again!” she rushed, practically sprinting away before she could see the look on his face.
When she did glance over her shoulder a good distance away, Kor was still standing there, his eyes fixed to the spot where she had been standing moments before. His eyebrows had hiked up his forehead, and to her delight, he indeed seemed surprised. Yes!
Mission accomplished, Adventurer thought, facing front again. Now I just need to not die of embarrassment the next time I see him.

Hey Gen! Hope everything's going well. Hmm lemme think. Zeno endeavours to train (male) adventurer as his version of a date; adventurer is stubborn and doesn't want to admit it, but he's having fun ;) (because Zeno makes everything 1000% more entertaining ahaha)
A/N: Everything’s going well, Daisy! Thank you for requesting! I’ll admit, since I’m not too good at fighting scenes, I was unsure how much training to put in, but I think this captures exactly how Zeno interacts with a more stubborn Adventurer. Enjoy! <3
Word Count: 605
Pairing: Zeno x M!Adventurer
Zeno’s Idea of a Date
“C’mon, Adventurer, you can do better than that!”
Adventurer brushed his hair out of his face as he tried to catch his breath. He and Zeno had been training like this for well over an hour, but he couldn’t tell if there had been any improvement in that time. Zeno was still kicking his ass like it was nothing, which wasn’t doing much for his self-esteem. It didn’t help when he reminded himself that Zeno had been doing this for far longer than an hour, either.
The knight, damn him, was just smirking. “Tired already? It hasn’t been that long!”
“Easy for you to say,” Adventurer grumbled between gasps. “You do this every day.”
Zeno raised an eyebrow. “Harder than farm work, is it?”
Shit. Adventurer covered up his mild confusion with a scowl. “It uses different parts of the body, wise guy.” At least, he was pretty sure it did. Man, it was hard keeping all these stories straight.
Having finally caught his breath, he straightened up, rolling his neck around in what he hoped was a cool-looking version of a stretch. “Okay, I think I’m good. Let’s do that again.” He ignored the ache of his muscles as he tightened his grip around the hilt of the practice sword.
Still smirking, Zeno swung his own practice sword off his shoulder and sank into a fighting stance. “You sure about that, Adventurer? I’ll feel bad if you keel over.”
“Do it,” Adventurer said through gritted teeth. He didn’t want to admit that Zeno was right. Not when this was the first time in a while that they’d been able to spend time together. He’d rather not have the knight grinning stupidly over being right the entire time.
Of course, getting his ass kicked wasn’t much better, but oh, well.
They leapt at each other again, practice swords swishing through the air much less violently than actual steel would’ve. Right before they connected, Zeno’s eyes met Adventurer’s, and he said, “Having fun?”
That made Adventurer stumble a bit, and he yelped as he tripped over his own feet and landed on the ground in a strange, contorted position. “Zeno! That wasn’t fair!”
“A lot of fights aren’t fair,” the knight teased. But he held a hand out for Adventurer, who took it and stood, brushing all the dirt off of himself. Geez. What had he done that for?
“So? Are you having fun?”
Adventurer paused mid-swipe of his hand, glancing over at Zeno, who, despite his cocky grin, looked a little worried to hear the answer. There was something about seeing that little bit of vulnerability that made Adventurer pause. Where was the confident knight who could probably take on an army of Dires without flinching? Who had faced down the Cult Mages without so much as a flinch? This was weird.
Sighing, he scrubbed a hand through his hair. “I guess,” he mumbled, keeping his volume low. He bit his lip before he could something cheesy like, You make everything fun, Zeno. That would have been embarrassing.
The light returned to Zeno’s eyes as his smile widened. “Excellent! One more round, Adventurer, and then we can go drinking! My treat!”
“What is this, a playdate?” Adventurer muttered, picking up his practice sword where it had fallen.
“Of course not! It’s a date! And a great one at that!” Zeno laughed.
The words punched Adventurer in the heart, and he had to double over and catch his breath again while also keeping his cheeks from flaring red.
Oh, yes. Zeno knew how to kick someone’s ass. But apparently, he could go for the heart, too.

Hello! Thank you a lot for doing that event! Can I ask to write about Kor realising he's in love with Adventurer?
A/N: Hello, Anon! Thank you for sending in a request! Kor is very popular it seems xD This one might be a wee bit shorter since I don’t think I need to do too much, but I hope you’ll like it, all the same! Happy Valentine’s Day! <3
Word Count: 450
Pairing: Kor x GN!Adventurer [From Kor’s POV]
Crap, I Think I—
Kor considered himself pretty suspicious, which was another way of remaining completely untouchable. Nothing fazed him—or at least, that’s what he told himself—and he was perfectly content living an average, boring life in Crimson City while trying to raise the whirlwind that was his daughter, Zaria.
But suddenly, that was a lot harder than it should’ve been.
He’d thought seeing Adventurer at the Summerset party was a fluke. A part of him had hoped that it was and that he wouldn’t have to deal with any nonsense for a long while. It was bad enough he’d had to talk to that knight-lord jackass. The last thing he needed was to become the funny guy in someone else’s story.
And then they appeared again.
At first, he’d hoped it was a case of “all strangers look the same” or some bullshit like that, but unfortunately, it wasn’t. It was Adventurer, all right, but he wasn’t too disappointed to see them. He couldn’t put his finger on why, though.
Trouble seemed to follow the poor kid everywhere they went. First it was Knight-Lord Jackass, and then it was the damn Cult Mages. It was almost as if Adventurer was but a protagonist in some wild story. Of course, that didn’t happen in real life, right? Of course not. That would be crazy.
Still, he couldn’t help but… well, help. He wasn’t sure what made him do it. Some weird sense of protectiveness, perhaps. Or maybe he felt sorry for the kid. Whatever it was, it was all very familiar. And strange. Mostly strange. A part of him feared that if he meddled too much, something bad would happen. Not that plenty of bad things had not happened already, but he had a strange sense of foreboding in the pit of his stomach.
Naturally, it took him a little while before he realized that feeling wasn’t foreboding. It was something much, much worse.
Even when he was with his daughter, Kor found himself worrying about Adventurer, wondering if they’d gotten into trouble again. His thoughts were all jumbled, and he’d definitely screwed up at least one batch of snickerdoodles. Snickerdoodles. Something was definitely wrong with him. And he knew exactly what it was.
He was in love with Adventurer.
Shit.
This had to be a passing feeling, something as easily broken as a practice sword. But it wasn’t. And he knew that from the way he felt relieved to see Adventurer safe and sound at Umi’s weapons shop and from the way he had the urge to ruffle their hair and tease them.
Kor was in deep, and there was nothing he could do about it. Not that he wanted to.

Okay, you wanted it so you got it Gen! Kor and Rowena, five times she denied dating him while he said they are and one time she admit it
A/N: You tried to hide @pizzapuffungi / @neineandvalerian [Bell], but you gave yourself away by mentioning Rowena! Hehe. In any case, this sounds like an opportunity for some excellent teasing >:) and that’s always my favorite.
Word Count: 668
Pairing: Kor x Rowena (Bell’s OC)
WE’RE NOT DATING Okay We Are
In Rowena’s defense, she had no prior knowledge to equip her for this exact situation.
But so what if she spent nearly every day with Kor? So what if he’d shared his snickerdoodles with her more than two (okay, five) times? And what on Vallauria did his falling asleep on her shoulder have to do with anything?
Umi especially seemed to make a big honking deal about it. Every time they went into his shop, he’d lean on the counter and give them a shit-eating grin. Today was one of those days. This time, it was accompanied with an even more annoying greeting: “Ah, so it’s the lovebirds again! What can I do for ya?”
Rowena rolled her eyes. “I’ve told you four times before, and I’ll say it again: we’re not together.”
There was a muffled sound to her left, presumably from Kor, who seemed to be pretending not to have anything to do with this conversation. Umi tipped the brim of his hat. “Keep telling yourself that, Miss.”
Kor glanced at Rowena before grinning over at the shopkeep. “Thought fifth time was the charm, huh?”
“Had to try.”
“What have you been telling him?” Rowena asked, narrowing her eyes in Kor’s direction. It didn’t matter how much time she spent with him, he always seemed like he was up to something. It was probably the smirk. Or the scar. Or the fact that she couldn’t even tell if he had pupils sometimes. One of those. Most likely the hoodie.
“Nothing much. Just the truth,” Kor said, patting her on the head like she was a cat that needed reassurance that everything was okay. Which, she sorta was, but still.
Gods, he was suspicious. “Which kind of truth? You seem to have multiple versions of it.”
The adventurer just chuckled and shook his head before waving to Umi and leading her out of the shop. He folded his arms behind his head and whistled off-key as they strolled down Main Street. It was jarring to Rowena’s ears, but she was too focused on what had happened in the weapons shop. “Kor, what have you been telling Umi?”
“Certainly not that we’re together, or anything,” he said with a slight sarcasm that made Rowena’s eye twitch. How could he be so infuriating while also being the one she wanted to spend the most time with? Too bad Gerald wasn’t around to glare some sense into her.
With a huff, she continued following him down the street until they passed outside a bakery and Rowena spotted a certain treat in the window. “Looks like they made snickerdoodles today.”
Kor stopped in his tracks, one foot in the air and his hair almost seeming to perk up. Or maybe it had already looked like that. “Snickerdoodles, eh?” He backtracked his steps to the front door of the bakery, pushing it open and revealing the scents of sugar and baking bread.
Rowena’s nose twitched as she stepped inside after him, glancing around at all the different breads and other baked goods. It was pleasantly warm inside, which felt great after the slight breezes outside.
Her companion approached the counter with a jovial grin on his face. “Two snickerdoodles please,” he said, holding up two fingers.
The baker smiled, glancing between him and Rowena. “You two together?” There was a familiar twinkle in her eye, one that reminded Rowena of Umi’s stupid grin.
She didn’t have time to rein in her words before she was shouting, “So what if we are?”
Wait. Shit. No—
But Kor was already laughing, as if he’d been planning for this all along, and even the baker seemed amused with her outburst. Rowena bit the inside of her cheek and folded her arms tightly against her chest, incredibly put out by this day. “Idiot,” she muttered.
“Ah, I like you, too,” he replied, handing her a snickerdoodle and ruffling her hair again.
When they returned outside, Rowena was thankful for the breeze that cooled her burning cheeks.

Okay gen dear, i just had an idea. So can i request a scenario of a female adventurer the hated valentines day back at earth, but Florus got curious and asked her to explain the holiday for her lol. And the adventurer explains things to her by ironically doing little valentines day traditions through the day lmao. Thanks for hosting this little "event" queen, you really serve us♡♡♡ (also, careful not to overwork urself)
A/N: Of course! The Kortia fandom really does deserve it :3 and I love this idea! Irony is my favorite, hehe. Enjoy! I swear I’m not overworking myself xD
Word Count: 919
Pairing: Florus x F!Adventurer
A Totally Non-Valentine’s Day Out
Love seemed to be in the air, and honestly, it was disgusting. It reminded Adventurer of the dreaded time of year back on Earth, with all the clingy couples and the cheesy love songs on the radio. February was a dreaded month, a cursed month, and she had never liked it.
Adventurer crinkled her nose as she strolled with Princess Florus down Main Street. At least nobody was flaunting red and pink hearts everywhere, but that didn’t really better Adventurer’s mood all that much.
“What’s wrong, Adventurer? You look pissed,” the princess pointed out, looking completely unperturbed, as per usual.
“Nothing, nothing,” Adventurer muttered, trying to wipe the frown off her face. But Florus looked unimpressed by this answer, so she sighed and admitted, “All the lovey-dovey stuff just reminds me of a holiday from—uh, where I grew up.”
“Really? What was this holiday like? What did you do?” Florus seemed to gain a spring in her step as she skipped ahead of Adventurer and turned around so she was facing her. “Come oooooon, tell me!”
It was incredibly hard to say no to a face like hers. Especially when her pink eyes were so wide and hopeful… Argh!
Fingering a strand of her hair, Adventurer thought up a simple but non-suspicious explanation for Valentine’s Day. “Okay, so, everyone has their different ways of celebrating. One of the main things, though, is getting someone close to you flowers or chocolate.”
Florus’s eyes drifted to the right, and her lips twisted in a smirk. “Oh?”
Following her eyes, Adventurer saw a florist’s cart overflowing with all sorts of colored flowers. The poor florist looked a little overwhelmed with all the customers clamoring to purchase bouquets of blooms for their sweethearts. Adventurer grimaced, but there was a pink flower that caught her eye. It was the same shade as Florus’s hair, and it looked very similar to the roses on Earth. Before she’d given permission to her feet to go over to the florist, she was approaching the cart, placing a coin on the table and plucking the bloom from the grasp of its brethren. The florist shot her a smile before returning to his work, and Adventurer held the rose-like flower out to Florus.
So occupied was she with matching the flower to Florus’s hair that she barely noticed the pleased blush that tinted the princess’s face a soft shade of pink.
“Another part about the holiday was having a fancy meal with dim lighting and saying all sorts of gushy stuff about the person you’re with,” Adventurer continued, drifting back to the middle of Main Street.
“There’s Blood Tavern,” Florus remarked, steering Adventurer towards the familiar tavern. “Let’s stop there.”
“Alright,” Adventurer agreed. They entered the tavern and sat down at a table. The lighting in the tavern was dim since it was late afternoon, which meant Adventurer had to squint a bit to see Florus’s face clearly.
“Tell me something, Adventurer,” Florus said as a waiter brought them each a mug of mead. “What do you really think of me?”
That was unexpected. Adventurer nearly choked on her sip of mead, coughing a few times before she could speak. “Excuse me?”
“You heard me,” Florus teased, folding her hands and leaning her chin on them, grinning broadly.
“I, uh…” Adventurer tried to look anywhere but directly at the princess, her eyes catching instead on the flower now tucked behind her ear. Had she really liked it that much? “I think you’re… cool?”
“Is that it?” Florus folded her arms on top of the table and laid her head there, her eyes half-closing as if she was about to fall asleep. But Adventurer knew better—it was the same way Florus had tricked her into doing her bidding time and time again. Mostly in the form of battle training. Damn practice swords…
Adventurer sighed. There was no getting out of this. “I think you’re amazing, Princess. You’re strong, you care about your kingdom, and you light up any room you walk into.”
That seemed to satisfy the princess more. Sitting up, she stretched her arms over her head. “I have two more questions. First, what’s the name of this holiday, again?”
“Valentine’s Day,” Adventurer grumbled, the name sounding like a curse coming out of her mouth.
“Interesting. And is kissing involved on this holiday of yours?”
Okay, that got her attention. “Wh-what? Why would you—?” she stammered, but it was too late. Florus was leaning closer, and for a moment, Adventurer panicked. The princess wasn’t actually going to kiss her, was she?
In the split second that their lips seemed like they were going to touch, Florus moved, and she pecked the tip of Adventurer’s noise with a chuckle. “Another time, perhaps,” she said, standing and leaving some coins on the table for the mead. “Oh, and I swiped some chocolate for you,” she added, sliding a singular square of chocolate across the table.
Words refused to come out of Adventurer’s mouth as she sat staring at the chocolate. Had she just gone through an entire Valentine’s Day date with the princess? Her? An avid hater of all things Valentine’s?!
“Come on, Adventurer! It’s time to train more!” Florus called as she made her way to the tavern’s exit.
Blinking rapidly to dispel the fog in her brain, Adventurer pocketed the candy and followed the princess, still reeling from the realizations of the past few minutes.
Florus was definitely going to kick her ass in training later.

Wintertime Shenanigans with Knight Zeno
Author’s Note: This is also an early Christmas gift for @lackadaisy-scribbles for the same “why not” reasons as the Florus one. The Zeno stans also deserve a little love, so why not let them have some? ‘Tis the season!
This features Daisy’s lovely OC, Emmet, as well as our favorite himbo knight, Zeno!
Happy holidays to all the Zeno stans! <3
It was really fucking cold.
Emmet hadn’t signed up for this—well, technically, he hadn’t signed up for any of this, but he certainly hadn’t signed up for this bullshit.
Why had he let that knight drag him out here again?
Speak of the devil, a helmeted head, sorely out of place in the rest of this fantasy world, peeked out from behind a tree. “Emmet! Are you coming or are you just going to stand there shivering like a fawn that was just born?”
Excellent as the metaphor was, Emmet rolled his eyes. “In case you haven’t noticed, I’m not exactly prepared for snow.”
Through the helmet, Zeno was most likely blinking. “Ah. Yes. I forgot that not everyone has armor like this to keep them warm. Hm.”
The knight maneuvered through the snow and trees until he was in front of Emmet. “Here. Take this.” From seemingly nowhere, Zeno produced a scarf that was the same purple as the highlights on his armor. With all the grace of someone sliding across a frozen pond, he wrapped the scarf around Emmet’s shoulders and head, somehow managing to avoid the neck entirely. “Better?”
“Mmph.” Emmet could barely see, much less talk, with this thing around his face, so he reached up and rewound the scarf around his own neck. “Now it is.” And indeed, with the scarf on, he felt a little less chilled, and he pulled the fabric up to cover his chill-stung cheeks. “Thank you.”
When he looked up, Zeno had his hands on his hips, no doubt grinning beneath that helmet of his. “Wonderful! Now we can continue our mission!”
“Remind me why we’re trudging through a forest while it’s snowing?” Emmet hadn’t actually been given a reason for why he was out here—Zeno had suddenly appeared and dragged him out of the city without any explanation whatsoever. Not that that wasn’t unusual from the knight, but still.
“Why, we’re searching for clues of no-good troublemakers, of course!”
So, no reason. Got it. Emmet sighed and trudged behind the knight as he over dramatically searched for footprints from these “troublemakers” of his, only to find animal tracks and droppings instead.
After the third rabbit scurried away from Zeno challenging the air, Emmet grumbled, “Can we go back yet? My toes are halfway frozen.”
Zeno paused in his tracks and pulled his helmet off abruptly, the snow immediately settling in his hair. Turning to face Emmet, he smiled guiltily. “I got a little carried away, didn’t I? We can go back, if you want.”
Well, if you give me a look like that… Emmet sighed. Giving the knight a little smile, he said, “Okay. We can keep going.”
Raising his eyebrows, Zeno blinked. “But you’re getting cold.”
“It’s fine.”
“No, it’s not!” Zeno’s eyebrows furrowed, and in a flash, Emmet was cradled in his arms.
Not this again, Emmet nearly groaned. “Zeno! Put me down!”
“In a moment, Emmet. But first, we have to make sure you don’t freeze to death!” And he started running. Emmet sighed and crossed his arms, but he had to admit that it felt nice to be held like this again. At least now he was used to Zeno’s spontaneous behavior… and kind of liked it.
Before he knew it, they were back in the city, and Zeno carried him over to the tavern where they’d first met. Of course Zeno would bring him here.
To his surprise, it was delightfully warm inside, and Zeno set him down as soon as they were through the door. Leading him over to a table by the fire, the knight beckoned him over. “Nice and warm in here, right?”
“Y-yeah…” Emmet sat across from him, removing the scarf and wiggling his toes to get circulation going again.
The knight didn’t take his eyes away from Emmet for a good few minutes before mumbling, “Emmet, I have a confession to make.”
“Huh?” Emmet was rubbing his hands together towards the fire, but at the knight’s words, he looked up. “What is it?”
“There were no troublemakers.”
“I knew that already.” The proof had been in the plethora of animals in the forest and the lack of people besides them.
“What I mean is…” Zeno’s cheeks were tinted pink as he rubbed the back of his neck. “I lied.”
This wasn’t confusing at all. “What do you mean?”
“I brought you with me because… I just wanted to spend time with you.”
Emmet stared at the knight incredulously, dropping his hands to his lap. His heart pounded in his ears as he took in the embarrassed expression on Zeno’s face. He’d wanted to… spend time with him?
“But… why?” was all he could think to say.
Embarrassment melted into one of those sparkly smiles of his. “Why else? Because I like you, Emmet.”
Seriously, how did he get his smiles to sparkle that much? “I—what?” This was some elaborate prank, right? Right? There was no way—
Zeno laughed, amused by Emmet’s obvious confusion. “Don’t worry about it. It’s not important right now.” The smile remained on his face as he leaned forward. “But I do have something else to tell you, Emmet.”
“What is it?”
“Come closer.”
Emmet almost didn’t do it, but after a moment, he leaned closer. His heart was most definitely going to leap out of his chest at this rate. By the time he’d leaned forward as far as he could go, their faces were mere centimeters apart. He stared into Zeno’s eyes, wondering what on Vallauria the knight needed to say that required this much of a personal space breach.
With a softer smile, Zeno touched his forehead to Emmet’s and murmured, “I won’t ever let you freeze.”
It was at that moment that Emmet’s heart and soul left his body.

Wintertime Shenanigans with Kor (Sus in Snow)
Author’s Note: This time, @lackadaisy-scribbles requested a little something featuring the sus-est of all sus personages, Kor! And, well, I tried my best to make him more sus, but instead he turned out kinda badass. But it’s fine. Nadir might have my head after this anyway.
This features Daisy’s cute OC Lydia and Kor!
Happy holidays to all the Kor stans! <3
Lydia gripped the pencil in her hand and once more lifted her gaze to the scene before her. Townspeople minding their business as they went about their daily chores and errands, the sound of laughter and arguing drifting through the still air, all while the weak sunlight bounced off the snow that had fallen the night before. Her eyes drifted back down to the sketchpad balanced on her knees, and an almost perfect replica of the town around her drawn on it in careful lines.
“Impressive.”
The voice shouldn’t have surprised her much, considering who it belonged to, but she jumped nonetheless as her eyes shot up to the man standing over her. His strange violet eyes gave nothing away as he stared down at her sketchpad. Though she wanted to be flattered by the praise, it was a little hard to when it was so hard to tell if anything about this man was genuine.
But ignoring those suspicions, it was nice to have someone noticing her, on the fringes as she was.
Straightening to his full height, Kor flashed a slight grin. “What are you doing here, all by your lonesome?”
She gestured to her sketchpad. “Isn’t it obvious?”
His lips twitched, though the amusement didn’t quite reach his eyes. “Right. I meant what are you doing in the city? A bit cold to just be sitting around, isn’t it?”
Almost instinctively, she set her pencil down and flexed the fingers of her drawing hand, which were getting a little cold despite the gloves. “Errands again,” she explained simply, rubbing her hands together to regain circulation.
“Not another Sworn Sword, is it?” he asked, his eyebrows raising, almost disappearing underneath his hairline.
“This list was much easier,” she assured him, closing her sketchpad and stowing it away. She stood from her perch and brushed herself off. “I decided to take some time to myself before returning, since I got through my errands.”
“Then you won’t mind if I escort you to the main gate, will you?”
Her heart did a weird thing in her chest as she looked up at him. His smile was innocent enough, but she couldn’t be too sure of his intentions. Of all the people she’d ever observed in her life, he was the most mysterious.
He was the most suspicious person in the world, and yet she found herself wanting to spend more time with him.
“I suppose not,” she said, glancing away again in hopes to hide her feelings better.
They set off down the street, skirting around the fountain square as they did. Lydia could barely look in that direction, especially since the incident. She shut her eyes and grimaced, the memory of Kor carrying her for some reason choosing that moment to flash through her mind.
Now was not the time for thoughts like that.
Beside her, she heard a muffled chuckle. Her eyes drifted up to Kor’s face, which held the slightest hint of an amused smile. “Cute,” he mumbled, brushing his hand through his multi-colored hair.
Lydia stiffened. He—he wasn’t—was he? Unless?? No, he couldn’t possibly be talking about her. Despite that thought rolling across her brain, her heart pounded a bit harder and her cheeks heated up the slightest bit. Her body was betraying her with every step, so she tried desperately to think of something else. Anything else. Anything but the word that had just passed his lips and the way his lips quirked when he smiled and the way he’d carried her away from danger—
Okay, so she was clearly failing not to think about it.
For the most part, they were silent on their walk, save for Kor asking her once if she wanted to stop inside a tavern to warm up. She declined the offer, figuring it was safer to spend as little time with him as physically possible.
It was better that way.
By the time they’d reached the main gate of the city, the sun had started dipping from its peak. Without a watch or anything to tell the time, Lydia could only guess that it was early afternoon. At the very least, it would take some hours before she made it back to the Byrathes. She wondered if perhaps Byrus would yell at her for her timing.
“This is where I leave you,” Kor said, giving Lydia a mock salute. “Be careful on your way back.”
“Of course,” she said, turning to exit the city.
“Hold on.”
She turned back, raising her eyebrows. “What is it?”
“You’ve got something…” He leaned forward, squinting at her. His hand came up, and he brushed at something on her cheek. It was taking all her willpower not to turn into a tomato as he touched her. “There. Got it.”
“Th-thanks,” she stammered, looking anywhere but at him.
“No problem. Oh, and check your pockets before you leave.” Without explaining himself further, Kor turned and left, waving over his shoulder at her as he went, presumably back to Zaria.
Her eyebrows furrowed as she reached into her pockets, feeling something there that hadn’t been there before. When she pulled the strange object out, it was a pair of gloves. They were well made and had probably come from one of the shops in the city.
Lydia sighed, pressing the gloves to her face. “Dammit,” she muttered to herself. Why him? Why now?
And why oh why did he keep giving her reasons to smile?

Wintertime Shenanigans with Princess Florus
Author’s Note: This is an early Christmas gift for @erre030 because... well, why not? I wanted to do something nice for a Florus stan such as herself, and this was the result. (Also, in general, the Florus stans deserve a little fluff for being so patient.)
So here’s a little something featuring Erre’s OC, Olivia, and everyone’s favorite sword wife, Princess Florus.
Happy holidays to all the Florus stans! <3
“Find anything?”
Olivia released a breath, the cloud of mist dissipating into the air as she glanced up at her companion. Princess Varcia Florus, heir to the throne of the Kortian Empire and definitely NOT anything more than a friend. The princess leaned down to inspect the ground in front of Olivia, some of her pink hair spilling over her shoulder. Even in the dim light of early evening, it was easy to see how beautiful she was.
“It’s hard to tell, thanks to the fresh layer of snow,” Olivia said, flicking her gaze back to the ground. The tracks they had been following were barely there, and as she watched, more snow covered the trail.
“That’s a shame. Father won’t be too happy about this.” Florus straightened and stretched her arms over her head, her muscles tightening against the long sleeves she wore under her armor. Olivia tried not to stare too long, tried not to make it obvious. Remnants of the dream from before she’d woken up here in Vallauria were still haunting her, even weeks later. She shut her eyes against the image of the princess, bleeding and lifeless, before her.
She wasn’t going to let that happen for real.
“Liv!”
Her eyes flew open as Florus suddenly wrapped her arms around her shoulders, smothering her in a surprise embrace. “What the—?”
“Come on, Liv, let’s go get a drink!” the princess teased, squeezing her before stepping away and heading back toward the city.
Fighting a blush, Olivia followed.
They reached the tavern Olivia had been to with Zeno before, though it wasn’t nearly as rambunctious as it had been that first time. Some of the patrons cheered at the princess’s entrance, and she grinned and waved back before ordering two cups of mead from a waiter.
“I keep forgetting what it’s like to be out and about like this,” Florus admitted, sipping her beverage. “I guess I have you to thank for giving me some time outside the city.”
“Not at all. I guess you have that spy to thank,” Olivia replied, taking a large swig of her own mead.
Florus groaned. “Enough about that bastard. Let’s drink!”
Olivia smiled and shook her head. What was she going to do with her?
~ ~ ~
Somehow, neither of them drank themselves to death. However, they stank of booze as they left the tavern, cheeks flushed and mouths hurting from all the laughing and giggling.
“Let’s go for a walk!” the princess suggested, grabbing Olivia’s hand and pulling her in a random direction. “I don’t want my father to see me drunk!”
But it’s okay if it’s me? Olivia thought, hurrying to catch up with Florus. Her heart was beating faster than it should have been, and when she looked down, she realized their fingers were intertwined.
She was holding hands with the princess.
She was… hands… princess…
Focus on something else. So Olivia lifted her gaze to Florus, her armor glinting in the light from the homes and shops and lanterns all around the city. There was no moon, as the sky was still sprinkling snow everywhere, and Olivia’s lips lifted in a small smile as some of the snowflakes settled in the princess’s hair. It was almost like the snow was drawn to her, as she was.
Suddenly, the princess stopped, and Olivia had to stop herself before she ran her over. “P-Princess?”
Turning on her heel, Florus pouted. “I told you to call me Florus!”
“Right… Florus.” Olivia glanced around. Was it entirely proper to call the princess by something other than her title?
When she looked back at Florus, the princess was smiling. Was this a trick of the mead? “I enjoy spending time with you, Liv.”
Although logically she knew that probably wasn’t possible, Olivia felt as if her heart skipped a beat. “You do?”
Florus nodded. “Yup.” Lifting their joined hands, she lowered her eyelids flirtatiously. “I wouldn’t hold hands with someone I didn’t like.”
Oh dear. If Olivia hadn’t been red before, she sure was now. Please tell me this is the mead talking.
The princess laughed. “You’re so cute.” Leaning forward, she lowered her voice in a conspiratorial whisper. “What would you say if I kissed you right now?”
“Wh-what?” Olivia blinked rapidly, utterly taken aback by the princess’s boldness. Okay, yes, they spent a lot of time together, and yes, she always wanted to be around Florus, and yes, fine, she was finding that she felt happier when she was around her—but this? This was too much all at once. Way too much.
Florus’s eyes flashed with mirth. “I’m joking, silly.” She placed her hand on Olivia’s cheek, and even through the glove, she could feel how warm the elf was. “Mostly.”
Was it possible for the brain to spontaneously combust?
As quickly as the warmth had spread through her, it was gone, Florus’s hand no longer in hers as the princess twirled around and faced the castle. Hands on her hips, she drew in a deep breath and exhaled. Olivia saw the mist from her breath float up into the air and disappear among the snow. “Well! I think I’m sober enough now to go back! Let’s go, Liv.”
Olivia sighed, her shoulders slumping a bit as she followed the princess, who seemed to have a spring in her step.
“Oh, and Liv?”
“Hm?”
The snow perfectly framed the elven princess’s face as she peered over her shoulder. “I’ll definitely be claiming that kiss. Someday.”

Hello Gen! Thanks for doing this for us! I'd love to see song #21 between Luna and a gender neutral MC. I don't mind what the plot is about :) anything related to the lyrics would be perfect. Thanks again!
Moon-Girl
Song: "I Choose You" by Andy Grammer
Lyric: "Standing here it's clearer than the sky is blue/That I choose you, I choose you"
Pairing: Luna x GN!Adventurer
Word Count: 435
A/N: Hello there, anon! I'm so sorry you had to wait so long for this, but I honestly wasn't expecting this request in my inbox! Still, I'm so happy you popped by, and I'm so happy to give Luna a last hurrah. Thanks for your support <3
Adventurer hadn't wanted to admit it, but they'd missed the Byrathes estate. They'd even missed Byrus with his grumbling and yelling. Though Byrus and Lady Byrathes were very understanding about the princess constantly summoning them to Crimson City, they still felt a little bad that they were always leaving to go take care of some emergency.
But most of all, they felt bad that every time they tried to spend time with a certain maid, a sparkling knight always seemed to show up.
This time when they returned to the estate, they'd made Florus and Zeno promise not to summon them to the city again for at least a month. "I have a job, you know," they'd sternly told them. "One I had long before I met you two."
Their expressions said otherwise, but they promised to adhere to their request. Finally, some free time. Relatively speaking.
Greeting the lord and lady of the estate, Adventurer stepped outside, hoping to find Luna. She wasn't in the garden, and strangely enough, she wasn't in the barn. Neither Lady B nor Byrus had seen her when they'd asked, so where was she?
After some fruitless searching around the estate, they found her sitting by a tree on the path leading to the main road, hands folded in her lap. Her eyes moved the slightest bit towards her periphery, so she'd definitely spotted them, but she didn't say anything to greet them. A shame.
"Hey, Moon-Girl, I'm back." Adventurer sat beside them, leaning forward so they'd be in her field of vision.
"Only a matter of time before you leave again," she said, her voice a little icier than usual.
"I made the princess and her lackey promise not to kidnap me again for at least a month."
"Oh? Tired of the royal treatment?" Was that bitterness they heard in her voice?
"Not quite. I was missing my usual maid service."
Luna raised an eyebrow, but she didn't meet their eyes just yet. This was going to be harder than they thought.
"I'm not going to insult you just to say I missed you, Luna."
Now she looked at them. A strange glint passed through her eyes, and the corners of her lips turned up. Not quite a smile, but not a frown, either. "And if I returned that sentiment?"
"Then you'd be relieved to know you're the reason I told Princess Florus and Knight Zeno to beat it."
The not-quite-smile turned into a true smirk. "Excellent."
"They might be the heir to the Empire and the greatest knight in the land, but I'd choose you each time."

Hello, gen! Tini you for hosting one more kortia event<3
Can I ask for Kor with fem (or gender neutral) adventurer and the song number 16? Where they finally become a couple.
Thank you sm again!
Lightning
Song: “Somebody to You" by The Vamps ft. Demi Lovato
Lyric: “And then you caught my eye/Giving me the feeling of a lightning strike”
Pairing: Kor x GN!Adventurer
Word Count: 425
A/N: Hello there, anon! Thank you so much for your support! I'm very happy to host one more event for the project that meant the world to me <3 I decided to go with gender-neutral Adventurer, if that's alright! Once again, thank you so much! I hope you like it <3
P.S. Thank you for your patience! I had a bit of a mental slump and then went through some technological troubles, but I wanted to finish this up as soon as I got my mojo back <3 Enjoy!
It was a weird feeling. Maybe it had to do with the fact that being around him was already hella confusing, or maybe it had to do with the fact that Adventurer had been interested in him since they'd first seen that damn smirk on his face.
They recalled the moment perfectly, glimpsing the blond-streaked dark head of hair across a crowded room and wondering how it had gotten like that. Then his face had split apart into that smirk of his, and it was like lightning. They would never forget the way that smirk had made them feel.
And now they were faced down with it again, a mere foot away from their eyes. Their heart pounded as they stared Kor down, trying not to melt under the power of that smirk. For a second, Adventurer nearly missed his words, but no, they could still hear fine, they just didn't have the capacity to connect thought and feeling at the moment.
"You sure you can handle me? I'm not exactly brimming with the power of love and friendship." Was that worry glimmering in his eyes? Couldn't be. Unless? You weren't sure what you were feeling, only that you wanted him to say "love" in a different context.
"I think I'll be fine. I've made it this far, haven't I?" they responded, raising an eyebrow almost threateningly.
"I knew I liked you," he said with a chuckle, reaching up to tousle their hair. Adventurer felt heat rise in their cheeks, but their heart swelled with affection.
"How long?" they couldn't help but blurt out, averting their eyes almost immediately after.
When they peeked up at his face to see his reaction, he appeared to be deep in thought. His hand reached behind his neck, as he was wont to do, and a softer sort of smile came across his face. "I guess you could say I've had my eye on you since the first time I saw you."
"Really?"
"Well, yeah. Nobody else radiates as much suspicious energy as me."
Adventurer rolled their eyes and shoved his shoulder. "Whatever, Kor. Can we go get some food or something before I pass out from blushing so much?"
"Cute." The widest smile they'd ever seen on his face appeared, and Adventurer couldn't help but smile back. "Yeah, let's go get something to eat."
As they went on their way, something occurred to Adventurer. "We're going to have to tell Umi, aren't we?"
Kor groaned, and Adventurer laughed. It was the start of a suspicious and beautiful relationship.

Hey, everyone! So this event was originally going to celebrate the release of Kortia Chapter 4 as a little extra to thank you all for patience. Alas, with the official discontinuation of Kortia, that won’t come to pass.
Still, I wanted to do something for the Kortia fandom I love so much. Instead of a Kortia Celebration, this is a Kortia Farewell.
Here’s how this is going to work:
I previously posted a playlist of songs I’ve compiled for Kortia purposes. Pick a song from the songs that show up--that is, the 100 in the embed!
Submit an ask with the number of the song and one of the main seven Kortia characters (Gerald, Dyclos, Alexis, Kor, Luna, Florus, or Zeno). I will not write for any other characters, but they may show up ;)
Make sure to include any other pertinent details you would like to request (gender of Adventurer, any specific situation you would like to see, etc) making sure they follow my guidelines
I’ll write a little drabble for you based on my favorite lyrics of that song!
Seems simple, right? Well, I hope so!
I hope you guys have fun! I know I will!
Happy requesting!
Love, Gen
