i have found a bunch of old sketchbooks and in one of them were some sketches for a failed 'summer of junglehook' postcard, where on the bottom of one page i wrote in faded crayon, "aaaaand I've just lost feeling for this. it sucks but it happens. i am on to better things tho."

5 days later, jack perry betrayed hook and junglehook, just like the postcard idea, was dead. it's on a list of things i oddly predicted with my art, including my dnd character falling out of a tree and odd eye circle coming back.

Sis, whose wedding happened first, Shiv Shakti or Vishnu Lakshmi? I just cannot understand the timelines in Hinduism 😭

Technically speaking from what I know, it could be Shiv Shakti since Mata Parvati was his wife during the Halahal episode, which happened directly after Vishnu Lakshmi Vivah.

But I do not know if this was a retrospective thing before Goddess Shakti took birth as Sati or after her birth to Himachal in this timeline and her official marriage to Shivji. If it is a retrospective thing, then even Lakshmi Narayan were married before Durvasa cursed the Devas and Mata Lakshmi was forgotten by them.

In that sense, both were married since the beginning of the timeline, the Goddesses were later forgotten and remarried their husbands, but in what order I do not know.

Lakshmi Narayan married when the universe was infant, a while after Manu's prahlay (first major event of this timeline) after which Samudra Manthan happened.

The Devas were cursed to forget Goddess Laxmi, the Asuras never knew her to begin with, and when she emerged from Samudra and they all wanted to marry her, she went ahead and put a garland around Lord Vishnu.

Yet I cannot say this was the first marriage because Goddess Sati's family already existed back then so it might be possible she did aswell.

As of Shiv Shakti, Devas and Daityas are technically Goddess Parvati's nephews because they are all her sister's children (from when she was Sati) and Devas existed before Sati Married Shiv so again, I do not know.

So yeah, in the true sense, they were always married. Speaking linearly in which order they married again, this time for the world to see, It is hard to know.

Maybe a mutual who has read the purans can brush up on this?

Perry being Eda's childhood friend makes him reporting on Eda's petrification a little weird to me

Agreed!

I was talking to some friends about this.

Maybe Perry wasn't planned as part of the squad until Season 2? But between Dana's art and Eda's little flashback in KT, that's twice he's been included now, it's clear they wanted to do something with him but had to cut it. So now they are leaving easter eggs.

Maybe they were going to have a little flashback explaining that?

However, as others pointed out to me, Gus had no trouble getting that microphone away from him, and he didn't really try to stop him and Willow either. HC he wanted to stop Eda's petrification really bad, but didn't want to risk harm coming to his child.

Maybe he's good at hiding his emotions.

I can HC why Perry acted the way he did in the season 1.

To me, there are several little things about the season 1 finale that feel off in restrospect. Like, how the essential Coven Heads are nowhere to be seen, not even mentioned. Which you think they would have been at least mentioned if it was this important.

Anways, I adore Perry getting to be a part of the squad and I'm going to run with it.

Personally, I am chalking it up to it maybe not being planned until season 2, wonky writing, or they had a story there that had to be cut, or a combination.

To me? If I can let go of Lilith nearly killing Luz, or Alador standing by while Luz was almost killed, then I'm not going to hold this against Perry.

KT Tunstall – Shepherds Bush Empire 7/03/23

Appearing as a 3 piece, with utility man, Stuart Wilkinson, half-hidden behind the side curtain on guitars and keys, KT Tunstall asks if we’re ready for some new music before playing the whole of her latest offering ‘NUT’. Stuart, the former drummer of late ‘90s indie popsters, The Dums Dums, had just been in the limelight as the opening duo with fellow sticksman, Andy Burrows. Neither are behind the kit, keeping it reserved for Andy to play in the KT Tunstall band later on. The guitar and mandolin pair are no stranger to each other, having played In David Brent’s Forgone Conclusion in Ricky Gervais’ ‘Life On The Road’ film and when performing Burrows’ ‘The Snowman & The Snowdog’ film soundtrack. We’d seen Stu a couple of months ago, off-stage in his hometown of St Albans, checking out Andy’s (Razorlight’s) frontman, Johnny Borrell, with his new outfit, Jealous Nostril. Incidentally, it will be their drummer who will be supporting Razorlight on tour. Now, it was We Are Scientists’ frontman, Keith Murray, who was checking out his former rhythmist, Andy Burrows, open the night with a Galt MacDermot cover from the American tribal love-rock musical, Hair. 3 songs from his 2012 album ‘Company’ and two from his 2019 collaboration with Matt Haig ‘Reasons To Stay Alive’ were sandwiched between the Burrows/Borrell Razorlight co-write ‘Before I Fall To Pieces’.

Completing the KT Tunstall band on bass was Seye Adelekan, who we recognised from playing with Damon Albarn and Gorillaz. You can catch this supergroup for another week on this UK tour, airing at least one song from each of her albums, apart from 2013’s ‘Invisible Empire // Crescent Moon’ but for tonight only, there was the addition of a special guest appearance from Natalie Imbruglia, who performed 2 of her songs with KT. She wasn’t the only unexpected rock royalty in the house, as the co-writer of Britney Spears’ ‘Toxic’, Kylie Minogue’s ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ and Katy Perry’s ‘I Kissed A Girl’, Cathy Dennis, was in the attendance to see how KT got on with ‘I Am The Piolt’ and ‘Dear Shadow’ – songs Dennis penned with Tunstall for the new LP. It was 2005’s Tunstall/Terefe single ‘Other Side Of The World’, from 2004’s ‘Eye To Telescope’, that followed the later in the set, that really stood out as one of the great, timeless pop songs. though
