It doesn’t matter how funny the bit is, no amount of kunpowpenising people is going to stop the original post from being triggering to people who don’t want to see racist, transphobic, sexist, homophobic, ableist, etc. things on their dash. The "restrict reblogs" option is actually I think an okay solution to kungpowpenis-ing from a moderation standpoint while still preserving tumblr dunking culture. the tidal wave of one-letter notes can stop anytime you want, you just have to accept there's no useful conversation to be had on the original topic.
