Nagiko: 11/10 Hold on they have so much potential. Nagito's believing that he won't amount to much and wants to uplift others vs. Himiko's wanting to see others smile but worrying about being stunted. Plus in UTDP there's an interaction where Nagito goes to cheer Himiko on during a volleyball game, despite her not being allowed to use her magic. He cheers her on just to cheer her on.

Nidamind: 8/10 They seem like they'd be cute together, I don't really have any notes on them.

Naeyama: 9/10 It sounds pretty interesting! Plain little Makoto having a swordswoman girlfriend who's involved in talking down high-level threats. There's possibility for an opposites attract type thing, as well as Makoto helping Peko ease up and learn to have fun.

Kuzuzumi: 8/10 It's not bad, it sounds like it'd be cute! I feel like they'd butt heads a lot in the beginning, but as they went on they'd mellow out.

Saigami: 7/10 Boy Manager and Male Wife. I'm not usually a fan of Togami ships, but I think if you pushed them together hard enough they could work. They're both very serious people but unsure about navigating romance, but they're willing to put their noses to the grindstone and navigate it together.

Oumahina: 10/10 They're an absolutely CHAOTIC couple. They're the type to call you up at 2 am because they're arguing about a TV show. Kokichi definitely asks Aoi to carry him everywhere. She's keeping him in check and nobody knows HOW. They're the embodiment of "'I could fix her!' Yeah? Well I can accept her as she is!"

Natsumi:...Mahiru, I'm trying to accept you dating Fuyuhiko because I want him to be happy and I try to put up with you. Don't make this harder than it has to be

Wait, I thought of another one. Peko and Nagito go on a crazy Tarantino-esque adventure when it seems that Fuyuhiko and Mahiru have been abducted. That may see them get into a Mexican standoff and car chase or two. Before eventually they discover it was all a big misunderstanding, and that the two of them had simply vanished for the day to make secret anniversary arrangements.

Nagito and Peko barge in with their Doomsday gear on and Mahiru and Fuyuhiko are just talking to an animal shelter employee to get them a cat.

Nagito and Peko are just like "We shall join our houses!" and doing that epic Arnold Schwarznegger + Carl Weathers handshake from Predator. Becoming platonic besties and teaming up for odd jobs. While Fuyuhiko and Mahiru are simultaneously thinking "Oh God, are we crazy for even considering this?" and "Holy shit, I could have Nagito AND Peko?". Eventually though they come round to the tradition of teaming up to give Peko and Nagito special three-way dates on their birthdays. Giving a nod of the head to each other and saying "Okay, let's do this...partner". And Peko/Nagito gets to walk round with a smile on their face as they hold hands with both of them. For Fuyuhiko and Mahiru's birthdays, I like to imagine they wake up to find themselves being treated to breakfast-in-bed. Though with Peko possibly having to supervise Nagito in the kitchen during the preparations.

OH MY GOD THIS IS CUTE (I've used that word way too much but oh well)

The three-way dates are a special event. Of course they have to Nagito-proof where they're going to go, as well as get everyone to coordinate and wear matching outfits. Fuyuhiko has the place guarded to the nines while Mahiru is keeping the schedule flowing and going well. They love their partners and love each other (even if it's not the same way they love their partners).

AND AND AND their birthdays! Fuyuhiko wakes up to a puppy and food from his favourite, as well as some small trinkets and useful things like a pocketwatch. restruant menu in his bedroom. Turns out Nagito tried cooking, and Peko convinced him to throw in the towel and just go get food. Mahiru gets a rare camera and film for her favourite camera, as well as some jewelry and a nice book (and of course food that Peko helped Nagito cook).

Fuyuhiko:I will, don't worry about it

Mrs Koizumi:And no funny business!

Fuyuhiko:We're fucking teenagers and still in high school, why would we do that?!

Mrs Koizumi:You won't drink alcohol either?

Fuyuhiko:Again, we're fucking teenagers, I don't even have a driver's license which is why we're going there walking

Mr Koizumi:*Whispering* You gotta marry this one

Mahiru:Dad!...*Whispering*...I will

Mahiru, trying to not seem flattered by it:Wow, you're really just gonna throw everyone under the bus for me? Really?

Fuyuhiko:I mean, I would feel bad and I will hate myself forever if I do that...but I would hate myself even more if I didn't choose you...that easy

Mahiru:Well!...I...Uh...

Hiyoko:And you Mahiru? If you had to choose between Fuyuhiko and everyone else, who would you choose?

Mahiru:Well I...it's easy actually...

Hiyoko:Really?

Mahiru:If I had to choose between the world and Fuyuhiko, everyone else is going to die

Fuyuhiru Headcanons

Fuyuhiku likes to listen to Mahiru talk about photography, not only because he actually finds it interesting but he likes how passionate she is about it.

Mahiru often takes pictures of Fuyuhiko while he doesn't expect it, he got annoyed at the start but after listening to Mahiru say her reason (it's more natural and captures the person in the moment) he doesn't get annoyed much...in fact he gets his own camera to start doing it as well.

They're both the mom and dad friend of the group once Baby Gangsta warms up to the group.

Get ready to get double teamed and scolded for two hours if you did an oopsie

Mahiru makes him feel better when he feels insecure about his height, saying things like "You're far more reliable than a lot of men twice your height"

Hiyoko starts calling him "Big Bro Fuyuhiko" after she warms up to him...she does threaten him to never hurt Mahiru or else...

Natsumi doesn't like it but she tolerates it because she makes his brother happy, so if Mahiru becomes her big sister she will deal with it...she did told her that if she breaks his heart her mangled corpse will appear in the news.

Really they both get threatened to never hurt the other by a lot of people (Sato, Hiyoko and Mahiru's parents to Fuyuhiko. Peko, Natsumi and the Kuzuryuus to Mahiru), it's a bit worrying but it's also touching that a lot of people are this protective of the two.

Mahiru really admires Fuyuhiko noble and selfless side once she gets to know him, she knows he isn't exactly clean from his life as a Yakuza but she accepts it alongside all of him.

Fiyuhiko admires Mahiru's kind hearted and caring nature towards everyone (including boys) but also that she isn't a pushover and is willing to stand up for herself.

They're both also kinda a bit traditional couple TBH.

Mahiru tries to get Fuyuhiko to tone down the swearing and she manages that!...The catch is that she ends up swearing much more herself because how much she spends with him and Hiyoko.

She ends up having to take self defense classes and learn how to use firearms since being the Girlfriend of SHSL Yakuza can make you a target.

Fuyuhiko initially tried to push her away because he didn't want to put her life in danger but she insisted.

Peko started hovering over her to make sure she is safe, because she makes young master happy so she must be kept alive (also she is her classmate as well), Natsumi starts acting more protective of her as well (only because she cares for her brother).

Sato starts hovering over Fuyuhiko as well, he makes Mahiru happy so he needs to be kept alive (reminds you of someone?) Hiyoko once she gets her growth spurt does it as well (Also because she likes shoving her growth at his face sometimes).

Sato and Natsumi's relationship gets awkward but less hostiles after this, Natsumi tones down her bullying on Mahiru (and Sato) while Sato knows harming Natsumi too badly will send everything to hell.

Fuyuhiko and Hiyoko teach Mahiru's how to see if her food had been poisoned given the amount of times it happened to them already.

The two defend each other very instensely whenever the other one is insulted, their rip into shreds the one that did it.

Hiyoko:So how did that go?

Mahiru:I was wrong...turns how once you get to know him, he doesn't need fixing, he's pretty good on his own
